so in this video I want to give you a close-up look of the brand new Callaway super soft splatter 360 golf balls so I’ve been playing this now for probably about two weeks I’ve lost a few of them I will be honest but they are excellent golf balls so yeah Supersoft one of the most popular golf balls out there certainly on Amazon when you look it’s nearly the number one golf ball but it brought out this new design it’s a designed to help you with your putting so if you look a bit like the um the the triple track that they have you’ve obviously got the arrow there to help line up your putts but they’ve made it thicker so actually visually from the eye when you’re looking down on it it’s meant to give you a better view of the line towards the hole and hopefully make you sink more putts I will be honest again and I didn’t sink more putts but it did um it it it was a really um High performing ball and I really enjoyed playing it um but I put a poll out this week to say do you want to see inside it do you want me to cut it open um a lot of you said yes now look let’s be honest I was going to say I was going to cut it open any anyway but what I thought would be really interesting today well I thought it’d be really interesting is to compare the inside of the brand new super soft golf ball with the uh well a very old Callaway golf ball from my local golf club wbury Park so um let’s get a hold of Jeff and first of all I think let’s get the old golf ball cut open and we’ll see how that compares inside and we can then have a bit of a closer look and see what it looks like this is the old Callaway so there we go so it’s a two-piece golf ball as you can see look quite smooth now the compression on on a Callaway super soft golf ball is about 40 so let’s leave that there for now and now let’s have a look inside the um the brand new super soft let’s get D and we’ll cut it open not many of these left now right do we think there’s going to be a difference in the middle between the old and the new or will it be completely the same wow well it’s a completely different color to start with as you might normally expect with different batches but there we go so it looks a lot rougher inside and I’ve cut it just the same but let’s have a look closeup so the outer layer very very similar and actually the inner core no difference there but yep certainly they’re using a different material for the inside of the new splatter golf ball versus the old Callaway Su soft so maybe that’s to do with the better performance that I felt when I played with it but I’d certainly recommend the Callaway um super soft splatter golf balls they look great they come in different colors and they certainly felt amazing around the golf course have you played this let me know in the comments below and I’ll catch you in the next one
