racing he won right now it is going to be the Privateer time master pole leading them in a rer down to the first turn is it jet Lawrence Jed Lawrence I practiced Jason I was telling that first Corner was going to be an issue and it CAU out Jet right on the beginning not in the reason it was an issue James he elected to go start to the outside leaving those insides up for grabs for guys like Eli toac and Cooper web to back to the lead over masterp web right behind him in third and Jet Lawrence has to get into the top nine or he won’t go straight to the main event he is around the speed is Rider Freddy norin on the 22 let’s look at the start again for Lawrence who again is trying to avoid having to go to the extra Last Chance qualifier race that’s what’s on the line he can get into the top nine here’s the start yeah he didn’t get a good jump right there and I’m assuming he just goes in here just hits the front break oh he did he hit yeah he hit Cooper I I miss I thought he was further on the outside coming off to the gate and he just he just got beat MRA that went down in the sand there James and now he makes the move on Cherry Robbins so now Lawrence from dead last 20th is in sixth yeah I mean just to put it in perspective imagine playing golf James you know if you if you have a getting the ball on the green versus hitting it 2 feet from the uh from the hole I’d rather have that position than just getting it on the green as far as a starting position goes for the main event what your pick looks like maybe your golf game but my golf game don’t matter until the ball’s in the hole there’s always a chance it might not go you better than I am with gol that’s for sure yeah just J ni good pass what do you see in that sand the straightway wall jump combination James he just made the move well Jet’s tripling in in that sand so he’s jumping from going it’s a two doubl so they go 22 and jump in the sand well Jet’s going 31 only a few turns away from what will be a very popular heat race win and we talked so much about web and Lawrence being close in points but the likes of Tomac are in there and they’re fast enough to steal points from either web or Lawrence toac finished between the two of them in second place last weekend in Nashville and he’s capable of doing that again or maybe even winning later today he takes heat race number one the crowd loves it Lawrence going to try to salvage more positions well as it runs right now the two fastest guys on the track this heat race was Cooper web and Jet Lawrence both out a 524 that a great recovery by jet he was able to get around Adam cerella for four so damage control the best he could be looking at probably the eighth pick on the gate in the main event later on Eli Tom firing early in Philadelphia and now we hear the rain has begun to come down but again in Supercross they’re going to race anyway the revs are up Gates down and the 96 of Lawrence a good jump Anderson on the 21 with the whole shot great start by Jason you kind of control and you can see those guys being very patient on that first corner it’s going to get slippery and now with the rain coming down you got to pay attention to that Ricky well you got have to pay attention for sure the track is going to change especially if the rain picks up it’s going to get very slippery the base of this race track is extremely slick it’s very hard that’s why it’s slippery looking to get Justin Hill and Dean Wilson this is so close one little mistake Chang everything that wasn’t a surprising pass though James when you take a defending champ like Chase SE SE there and the number one Reed bull KTM machine those passes as soon as you see that door open you got to take them as if they Flinch boom you’re there that but that’s not a surprising move that chase had you have to do that because it’s so hard to pass yeah I think he would have went in a little bit more with commitment but he saw Dean and there was another rer in front of him so he was trying to get the BOGO special with two for one pass and realized the sale was done but yeah Chase is doing a good job and and so is Malcolm trying to make their way up and think they’re in fifth and or sixth and seventh or sixth and eighth battling that’s 23 James Grant and harand and you’re right harand is fifth so it is sixth now for your brother Malcolm and then it’s the 91 of Deon Simonson looking to hold out ston and Ricky you mentioned Hunter Lawrence bouncing back as ston makes the move final lap Lawrence and Anderson still slugging it out to be the first heat race win of the year for this monster Kawasaki team if Anderson can hold on and only one turn to go yeah great ride by Jason the whole Hunter Hunter’s been there the whole time but El humre Jason Anderson and the veteran out of New Mexico logs the heat race win ston and Stewart still going at it let’s see if Chase runs it up the inside ooh your brother closes the door I like that check this inside right here is Malcolm going to go block him off oh he did yeah nice job what’ you see there James now comes a big boy Chase didn’t want none of it no Dy he is and I’m going to tell you right now if Chase would have tried something that wouldn’t have worked out well for him I don’t think big boy he knew better business decision heat race one of the 250 class underway haker on the inside able to get around Dax benck and Degan to control the lead the Pennsylvania native leads his home race oh Kyle Peters right there too a good start for him yeah great start everybody seemed like they started off here first corner is pretty clean as Hayden trying to make the pass already on Seth oh danger boy there he tried the big leaps there James on the outside yeah he tried the the big leaps and if you want to notice his numbers yellow that’s because he’s the defending SMX champion and um Hayden degan’s trying to get another Supercross title but he went a little long on that first Rhythm Section Degan has caught hammaker with two to go and now the white flag is out one little slip here from Seth Hamer and that’s going to open up an opportunity for Hayden Dean to make the mov it’s going to be interesting right here James yeah I like what again Hayden’s doing and I think if Seth just makes everything and be clean it’s hard for um it’s going to be hard for Hayden to make the pass but Hayden started going on this outside and hitting this triple there goes let’s see if he can basically try to get on the inside of Seth right here oh and maker cuts across now degan’s positioned to inside they almost came together in midair that was very close that was close from our angle I thought they were going to collide across jump whoa yeah that was set up the way um seph went to the outside that just the way that triple is it throws him back to the inside so he didn’t do anything wrong but ooh that was really close one turn left Degan tries to square it get inside can’t do it and Pennsylvania’s own Seth hammaker wins the heat in Philadelphia battle’s still going chance hus on the 48 making the move on Peters trying to get into the top five this is a great run by chance hus and Kyle Peters reason it’s a good run from Chase chance hus is he blew his ACL out last year so missed basically his whole rookie season so this will be its true rookie here I would say now here we go and jik swo on that Triumph brand new to Super Cross this year and they have shown some serious horsepower SPS out front shock second this guy’s a whole shot King James that was a firing hole shot from the outside incredibly hard to do that giving up all those spots on the inside you have to be perfect on the gate trop and have quick reaction time yeah J swoll up on all of them getting out that gate the AL made the move on shock shock gets the series leader back yeah great pass yeah Tom made the pass and then shock was like I got a threeyear deal I’m feeling good he just shock he just shocked the is what he did he did B has caught the leader swo while the battle for third R is between an and red looking to get around shock now swo the leader has never won a heat race in Monster Energy Supercross and there would be a lot of motivation Jason Thomas what are you seeing here for the 16 well I’m wondering like you know asking these two Experts of this spard Ricky caruk and James Stewart battling for a championship like this with Tom have 13-point lead on the last lap of a heat race how much risk are you willing to take to force a pass here it just feels to me in my opinion he doesn’t have to do anything silly like the championship could be in his grasp the only thing that could take that away is a silly crash trying to pass right here so you guys how much risk is on the table here what do you think yeah I think for yeah I I agree I think if it’s it’s jalik so I he’s not going to take too many risks he wants to be able to get around them I think the track is very difficult but as also he doesn’t want to make any more enemies so you don’t want jelik getting into him right now to possibly cause you down the road but I would say J’s riding really good Jason here it is final turn and jelik swall has done it his first career heat race Victory and the first for that manufacturer very proud British Mark that is just now stepping into Supercross they have a heat race victory for the first time Pierce Brown comes across in for the head of shock shows you how important it is just to win a heat race in Monster Energy Super Cross look how special it is for this young kid right here to get that first win only four starting positions in the 450 main event are left top four from this make it everyone else goes home you only make the money and get the points if you make the main so a lot of pressure here if you haven’t watched the last chance qualifier grab your popcorn revs are up 450 Last Chance qualifier Justin Cooper one of the top riders in this series went down in his heat has to go to the lcq and he has the whole shot great start by Justin Cooper after coming off that heat race he know he was nervous going in his lcq but he executed it great start for him yeah from the outside and you would expect a guy like Justin Cooper to get a good start uh in this last chance qualifier not against the best guys or the top 10 guys in the uh Championship so uh well I also want to ask you Ricky the factory motorcycle that he has talk about the advantage that has on starts yeah it has a massive massive advantage and and what the advantage that he has is just the data and how how these bikes and oh oh look out off side of the good save that was a rod Anthony Rodriguez gets a little sideways and you can see it uh the the track is a little bit slippery because of the rain it’s a tough position for Jeremy Han to be where he was cuz he had Shane catching up and he just oh this came together with clayon and hand goes down yeah hand goes down I wasn’t sure if that was melrath or Chism it must have been melrath but thing about that what so hard being in that transfer spot being the last guy in the transfer spot you have to race in front of you but you also have to be defensive as well because you know the guy in Fifth outside looking in is going to take a shot yeah he’s going to give it to you it’s coming Checkered Flag should be in sight Cooper’s into the main with the win but the big battle is for the final transfer spot it is cartright that Rider with a full-time job got shuffled back on the 74 Chism the 36-year-old veteran the 11 is trying to get in here’s the call Ma around morance clayon gets the final spot Kyle Chisum the veteran doesn’t make it and good job by clayon he was Under Fire the whole time in the battle and made it happen on the Partzilla Kawasaki oh but he [Applause] hman a whole shot so Munoz leads the way Crockett Myers battling with Marshall Welton for second and Vinny lobi I believe that’s a Pennsylvania native in fourth place right now Chris blackberg is fifth so Muno see if he can get this done why you think about this guy right here he is going to be warmed up for the main event give you guys some perspective their main event is right after their last chance qualifier so they’re going to have little to no rest whatsoever so I’ll tell you what they will not have to do a warm up going into that main event that’s probably the positive for these Riders racing this last chance qualifier who transfer see if he goes on the inside of themov looked over looked over he’s got it’s so hard in this position right here cuz you have to be defensive you just have to know that the rider behind you outside looking in is going to take a shot all bets are off in the last chance qualifier they got a half a lap to go and you have to go for it right here otherwise you’re going to be sitting in the stands watching the main event do you think he knows that he’s F because he doesn’t seem that aggressive I thought he was going to be a little bit closer try to be a little bit more aggressive but if he don’t know now he knows he’s about to know going down 95 going home first got to handle the wops Hardy Munoz has done that takes the hbi Kawasaki to the win here’s the battle for the final spot and you’re right James they pulled away it’s going to be Welton Myers lovi the Pennsylvania native fist pump he’s into the main Isaiah Clark just short it’s time for the two 50 Main and Di in a much better start than V and Hamaker got the whole shot great start by Seth and even jik on the inside and Ricky you saw how uh tenative Tom was off that start once he got pinched off but Seth the way he wrote in that heat race this is exactly what he needed right and I’m going tell you right now if Seth hammock is able to build a gap here early he’ll be able to put this thing on cruise control but keep keep your eye on Max ansy that guy had a lot of speed earlier today in time qualifying practice he’s number 37 and swo is right there in third as is Pierce brown brown and an had speed all season they haven’t had the starts to develop results this is their opportunity and as’s on the charge James yes now Max has been run fast oh good good all year long he’s been fast all day long and I think for him he’s just got to let this race come to him Seth has probably been in the second fastest out of all of them but max if he stays up he’ll have a chance to win this race what a ride for setham coming to do this if he can hang on here for the next 8 minutes plus two there to do this in front of his friends and family his home race here would be incredible I just want to remind everybody that he’s not even riding it 100% here because the last time we saw him he had hang on to that one he had an injury at bopr and that was his shoulder he’s got bone bruing and it’s not even 100% he described as 80 to 90 so he has got a handicap here in his riding they’re looking at fatigue in the shoulder so we just he’s hoping the team’s hoping that he can hang on through this and keep that shoulder moving throughout here oh will he almost goes down and somehow still able to hold off an is providing Relentless pressure here James an anstey was trying to scare scare Seth hammock going to the inside pull his clutch in get the RPMs up and having that sense a lot of riders especially at this level oh an Sor RC’s there the inside wheel to wheel but now SE has the advantage oh he tries a crossover move Andy from outside to in takes the lead what a pass set that up two turns before that going inside outside exiting the corner early makes the move and as you said swole is still there lurking in third and then the be Dean battle is starting to catch the lead group we’ve got six riders in a fight for the win today and they’re coming in to last rappers right here three more laps left here in this race and it is crunch time this is when it the sausages made for sure well look at Pierce Brown not in the championship fight after crashing hard last week he’d been very consistent this year he’s back oh no SW and Hamaker have gone down together in the sand second and third place are down I’m going to guess SW was jumping into the inside tripling here’s your weed play you see the 43 of hammock on the outside he’s going to the outside watch jik SW right here Collision pow now it’s late in the race jelik swo is going for his first uh Main Event podium in my mind he should have checked up and and that that was a little on the that was on the aggressive side that’s on jik there yeah that was definitely on jalik he he went for it he sensed the opportunity look they’re still racing each other at this point but that was definitely on jik yeah he was trying but eighth and Ninth Place here’s the battle for second place it ain’t over yet well we just saw that stand section what you can do if you get too aggressive one lap to go an Lees it’s B Brown oh Pi’s Brown goes for a huge ride over the Finish yeah he cross red coming out of that line remember James that’s talking telling us how the dirt was getting down to the plywood they put plywood on the base of this floor then dirt on top of that and when you hit that plywood that tires like spinning on Ice he went cross rded sideways off the takeoff of the Finish yeah definitely and you can see that coming and rear tire was spinning up that’s Finish Line’s gotten rough but Jason we down to the final lap and de has a shot at f as an’s trying to win his first race of the Season F goes wide Degan follows him Dean running out of time’s going to have to go full sin right here what a ride by Max anstey though waiting waiting waiting the the lead will Dean try something in the final Corner Checkered Flag in sight the veteran out of England maxy wins and the holds off Degan huge for the championship to take second great run by Tom VI I’m going to tell you why going into Salt Lake City James you know better than anyone with a 15-point Advantage he has some really nice Insurance yes he does Ricky that was huge Tom might as well he won that race that was a win for him to oh yeah yeah the championship duel will continue into the finale two weeks from now on Salt Lake they follow each other through traffic from about 10 and 12th all the way up to second and third tax benck takes fourth look at this what the irony still finish the same when before they collided or when after they collided Preston Bas fluk top 10 big improvements so far this year the rookie huge brown after the huge crash will end up 14th time to drop the gate for Philly and j a good shump is going to lead them he got the whole shot tow back and Weber right there what a start when he had to have it have it he had it great start by jet Lawrence want to talk about clutch that was clutch and Hunter Lawrence was racing Cooper web so hard coming into that first corner he almost had him covered if he had Cooper Webb covered Cooper would be buried in the pack right now so the Yamaha teammates two championships a piece have to gang up on the Rie Lawrence toak and web trying to keep him in sight yeah Cooper is going to have to oh ston right into the side of web oh that’s not going to age well I don’t think Jase yeah Chase wasn’t trying to do anything I think Chase was blocking and he just went outside Chase has been rolling it outside the whole time oh web tried to get there James yeah well Cooper doesn’t know Chase didn’t mean do that but Cooper’s got to be smart here he can’t get caught up with Chase and as I was saying that stopping go momentum you can see Chas has have more moment him around the RAC trck which allowed him to get up close to Cooper and make that pass he did a lot of stuff like that at Foxboro when you think about it going outside lines oh you see Cooper Webb hit a rock there in the Rut yep that’s that stopping go and and look how much time he lost to chase xon this last lap he pulled a he pulled a nice little Gap jet Lawrence did on Chase ston James and it’s going to be tough for Chase to reel that Gap back in on a guy with as much speed as jet has almost had it got to be careful with Mara he’s one of the most aggressive in the game oh that was nice yeah let’s see if he blits it but the sets it in that was an accidental that was accidental pass yeah wow hey there’s one way of going fast they figure it out but oh bar right back and Bara Cuts him off oh the pylon got in our way wasn’t able to see yeah oh just full s right there leaning it over that was a l traction but it worked out well but yeah I think Hunter was nervous about what the repercussion might happen great pass by Justin to get back and here it is last lap battle for third he’s got to keep he’s got to keep Anderson behind him doing what he has to do uhoh two wins in a row down the stretch stretching the points lead SE it in second Anderson puts web down and steals third how close is fourth not close enough and Cooper web coughs up a spot and two championship points in the last turn that was tough for Cooper that was tough for him and all that was set up by momentum Jason had a good run through that whoop section outside and in but jet Lawrence yeah that was a big Point stay for jet Lawrence look at the Emoji it sees how pumped he is what’s at stake two races left he’s stepped up and got it done he did clutch start from the outside after that crash in the heat race forcing him into that position and the rookie making it happen look at that there’s the result ston a great run up for second and Anderson has his first Podium since Glendale about 2 months ago with that late pass last turn on web toac fif bar Hunter Lawrence Stuart FIS Justin Cooper round out the top 10 good job by the beta teammates Bloss and Nicholls first year of racing for that motorcycle 12th and 13th hi folks Lee DIY from NBC Sports here if you truly enjoyed what you just watched you can get more news 1. Eli told us he didn’t think he couldn’t beat Jet, on lap 2, while on his back wheel… so he laid up to another rider he hoped could do what he just admitted he couldn’t. Pathetic.

  2. I absolute hate when they go to the Spanish broadcast even form2 mins during the LCQs.. it ruins the start. If we want to hear that, we’ll sign up for video pass thing. So yea, enough already.

  3. I swear jet has to be the fastest, but also luckiest rider. Not only does he crash only in heats and practice, but he also gets breaks after getting into bad crashes and the gnarly stuff happens to his brother.

  4. cant wait to see tomac battle jett once he's back to 100% – the fact he's already here after an Achilles tear is bonkers. I don't think ppl realize how significant that injury truly is.

  5. I dont know what kind of woke BS Budlight yall are drinking, but the Spanish commentary to appease the illegals flooding into the USA is crap.

  6. Question: If Adam Cianciarulo is retiring, leaving a spot open at Kawasaki, would Ty Masterpool get a look? Guess the outdoor season will tell us a great deal.

  7. Using drones for coverage is a huge mistake. That's not what they should be used for. I hate to complain but I fly them and I can't imagine how annoying that would be for the riders and spectators there. It's not even fun to watch they need to revise how they cover these races. Grew up watching in the 90's early 2000's and trust me people want to see more of that old school racing. If I see another drone trying to randomly follow rider's around corners I'll never tune in again

  8. 17:35 i never like big jumps next whoops sections..this is why right here…if 2 or 3 ppl were battling blitzing the whoops or anyone blitzing them on the left side which is the inside the rut line, very possibly a life threatening situation..i think track designers need to be more aware and have whoop sections on the outside of tracks like this section is then some kind of sand section rollers or dirt rollers not a big finish line double where ppl are battling for spots and can have this happen…
