champion at the third roning y for a par that was quite a for a par at the first [Applause] okay A bit because of the the whole location that’s nearer the middle right of the green you can get blocked out down the right side as you can see it’s that right bunker that left bunker off the Fairway is not too bad it’s a surprise that she hasn’t won a major yet K second at the first qualification IA food away the same can be said for her when it comes to team Japan and she’s currently qualified in 20th in the world but of course shibuno Yamashita on that first page of the leaderboard could not that says 200 y to the middle of the green so you’re hitting a long shot off of a tough lie uh to a green that’s really slowed it’s it’s just a beast we watch those final few groups come through a little later Yin at the fourth not quite getting it to that back tier we’ll send Paige somewhere else on the golf course to see if she can find another difficult on maybe I mean what it takes is one shot into those trees and you could be playing Plinko pretty quickly ni part there second it’s just a moment ago oh hello nice way to do it wow that study long and hard to to know more about it cupo Strat volcanoes are characterized by the way the window food away he shut up five oh didn’t get the hot cord we’ve seen that quite made double having plugged it in a bunker and yesterday hitting into the water at 17 she made triple as we watch Coro and said a friend of hers had heard that she’d almost hid it into the water earlier in the here at the sixth for pigo see where this one pitches that did get a little hot forward drove it poorly here in the left rough which is why she had uh okay for a birdie at the third yeah get B back to one over day this is Mariah stack house who’s the sponsor invite this week represents KPMG and she’s been playing her goal on the enter they too she was struggling with with distance control trying to figure out what clubs to hit into the green and the poter wasn’t very hot but making the she’s 108th in the race to the CME Globe this year on the LPGA I think we’re all just player with a really good record in this Championship Over The Last 5 Years here Jim not a very long hitter so getting a little bit more bounce something to watch there that favorable back stop yeah mhm of the slopes and the ridges and the greens Grant her third yeah nicely done if you remember yesterday she drove it way left on the same hole so you just can’t hit it wild off the tea here that’s just you just don’t get away with it here it’s been a bit at the second yeah need to keep doing that today y okay big day for Ally for a lot of reasons have potential solheim cup bid on the line big or excuse me Olympic bid also she she’s pretty sad on the as white and blue here’s hait on you at the second remember yesterday she had a share of the lead not out of the question up in a wedge out for Lexi we can’t even see any part of that club head as she set it down behind the ball smart play we saw yesterday a couple more clubs good contact yeah good play at the end of the day really well done didn’t try to force too much took extra see players use this back stop to get it close here this hole is going to yield quite left it below the hole but whenever you get in trouble still right in it [Applause] wow from California Lilia going with driver for position from Oregon Carolyn Eng going to try to save wow tough to get into red figures to and jinang Co looking to find this Fair missed it left yesterday this hug in the left side okay good angle from the left half this Fairway whole look out favorable wow what a bounce what a shot lease pattern this is yam Mash to Second couple of Ys less 118 I expect her to flag hunt all and not much in this first player to eight under in patience hit on you of Korea at the fourth very calm patient this is a good looking T shot you love her swing Morgan I do it’s just very smooth and effortless and just not a lot of moving Parts not a lot that can go wrong this is Ali Ying for a birdie allly trying to make a charge this isn’t eight iron middle of the green a good position with this left hole location yeah as you can see that’s the bail out there’s really not a huge amount of slope for her to deal with can really attack this flag and she does quick left but the hole is tilted towards the back of the green making it stay out there oh but Lauren got it right beautiful stroke well get out of trouble when she needed to going to say after we show that traffic that had to go in right try and take on this whole location wind is indeed taking this to the right t-shot she got five hybrid wind back into the player’s face oh she managed to thread it through there and it’s going to be rewarded see really no reason not to go right at this whole location there is a bit of a back stop behind the pin I might come back a little bit these two part fives this sixth hole and then the 11th hole right now playing as the right did she yeah watch out for gin and Co today this moves to four on the par three five actually missed her birdie this is shabo’s birdie put yeah so [Applause] shibuno that par save at one has propelled [Applause] her not [Applause] bad almost like a skin here getting a birdie on the eth hole second birdie of the day he’s giving us a good little run certainly does oh oh what a moment to make it Amy Yang has worked with a psychologist for a couple of years now and will really kind of all of his ideas and stuff will really play into her mind what a response short with a chunky shot and get it to release pitched it right in the upst what a shot how has she performed worked a long time with Bill Nelson he said they are always working on her tendency to perfect and gosh look at [Music] this to play trying to get it to fall a little right for that right hole location this scen has been so firm yeah is this going to get better is it going to get better yes it is and Ali Ying will have a part to get that the front and let it release a little bit it’s a very narrow opening to the front of that green little bit of a drawer which is good smart play it’s been so tough to get it close to this whole location today you s this is the closest shot of the day so far on the n9th 6 Ines beautiful roll should swing back towards the hole has it got enough Pace it’s a good effort there so it’s going to be and this front left hole location definitely brings the penalty area a little bit more in play than we have seen this week Safe Play Slightly out to the right just smart golf this is a t-shot at the N trying to go the flag here aggressive line from Lex had a chance to win had a very good chance to win [Music] today felt like she might make a run you’re going to leave yourself anible chip get much air under that ball but it’s right up the center cut I think as leaves go that’s not too bad it Chase little bit uphill helping wind I mean could not have placed it out there any better Morgan and another Beauty right there to your point Karen she is right out there only two other players there second saw how close that water Creeps in brilliant shot from the former she moves another whole closer to that elusive first okay but it has been this club just hasn’t got enough to go in but that’s a nice one on this tough 10th hole only the third bir of the day here Shin Young Co birdie at 11 yeah so she’s to three under downhill though Left Right came out a little heavy but all over [Applause] spin on a great she’s feeling it this is at it but plenty of Club come back a little bit yeah just even with a wedge you can’t get too frisky and oh that was really struck well with her patented draw yeah it’s on a good line K and this could leave a good chance for Eagle for Lilia Vu to try and get it to five hybrids looked like her five hybrid on a good line well struck yeah and she may well have a good look for Birdie the player from Oregon who lives in the state of Washington did you make it yes she did that is a heck of a birdie Tom from the right trees maybe a bit announced at the US Women’s Open this would be her last full season on the tour [Music] well after just an it’s narrow enough now it is well here’s that high draw looks like a good line is it going to get by the tree yeah oh this is Sensational stuff ah that could be quite a dagger to turn in for an eagle is it that close it’s going to be an easy birdie and Amy Yang will get it to nine under par she was one of seven players that finished underpar she for birdie this one has to have just a little bit of left movement in it as it gets the whole yeah keeps that par five the 13th is for a birdie it’s another birdie Lexi I mean this is just a a wild round of golf better to get on to that US Olympic team Yamashita a quick reach for the te was that was going for a big draw her team says that she would on track here but you said a top five finish would be huge just keep plugging away you never know when something’s Good’s going to happen cuz she’s do and that’s a good te- shot she had a putt and at the six that was halfway down at six back moment ago Lilia Vu for another birdie starting to feel like the must make sort of time hang on lilu isn’t done yet she has [Applause] 120 yard up the hill this is an opportunity she can try to get a birdie here yeah she giving herself a good chance if it doesn’t go too far by yeah this is a spot where she should be and I think until you put yourself in this spot you don’t really fully believe that I mean she certainly does know how to play from today andak go shabono for birdie at 14 [Music] [Applause] she likes to hit a little bit of a draw but she’s has she overdone it here oh it was probably overdone but it worked out well that’s what happens am is shot because uh I’m not sure that that was the her Amy’s intended line little bit right of this flag should be ideal oh this is a good effort yeah not quite as good as just inside the hole Yeah it’s been an incredible performance by Amy Yang second shot in here it ran all the way through to here is it another birdie is it another birdie for Lexi this is just one of the strangest rounds I think I’ve ever seen at 16 two back when the weekend began Morgan got enough of those just a little bit of a back stop behind this hole but Jin young doesn’t need [Applause] it got to go in doesn’t it yes one more Roar Lexi elicits that moves at the top 10 who knows what back on 15 did take a significant out of time is this right it’s just on oh look at this it could be amazing yeah Ian that was a foot away from kicking down into the water HS the other way and almost goes in look at her not particularly scary from here it’s giving it a good run here isn’t she yes what a moment for har how important could that be in a tie for second place Yeah Lil Vu is back and it’s great to see her healthy again with a big summer we won’t have to wait too long to see her compete in the Edon championship in a couple weeks time

  1. Yang played great. She deserved this one and weathered a tough course.

However, just want to acknowledge Hartlage. The lip out birdie and the two double-bogeys were tough to watch, but we've all been there, at least I have in tournament play. I'm sure she's disappointed, but I give her a lot of credit for not giving up and competing. Lots of other great play from other players, but just wanted to highlight what she did in this tournament.

Also congrats to Yamashita on the great play. Olympic-bound? 🤙

  2. I used to live in Marymoore Park, the course is beautiful greener.
It seems LPGA players need experience with wet grass.

  3. Why miss the last winning putt? Howd you mess this up esp. since this was the championship? Intentional?

  4. Unbelievable! Not only do you have awful tv coverage spoilt by too many breaks and ads every few minutes, you can even edit a video properly showing Amy Yang win her first major. Absolute embarrassment. You have a great product and you’re butchering it. As an organisation you should be ashamed

  5. We all how discriminatory LPGA is against Asian golfers. When they figured americans not going to win, they cut it. What a disgrace LPGA.
