me versus you clearly yeah and you’re starting seven under so you’re going to do an 9l match because I have a massive handicap you have a massive handicap what’s that your golf game or anything else what are you off handicap wise you say eight which is f cool around here it’s 11 okay and I’m going to put myself at minus three so you’re optimistic though aren you roughly so roughly we’re going to split the difference and Ryan’s going to start 7even under through nine I’ll let you go first mate you take the honor yeah I was I was going to do that anyway oh my is that right that’s right quite a you new to the slope system by the way because you seem to think it was like some new Gadget the times have changed since way’ been away from the game I used to Pace it from the 150 James 73 yard we got little tiny 56 three4 swing the map is going to for the roll out nice and safe oh go on so you give yourself a good light you’re chipping it yeah yeah all right will you have a go if you struggle with this shot yeah I’ll give you a quick lesson here and now and I’ll allow a mulligan okay so there’s no pressure whatsoever I’ve got a 56 yeah yeah is that what you would choose to use yeah 56 is right for me Pitch it probably just past my ball trying to get a good picture of what you’re trying to do of it I’ve got a good idea good I’ll give you a lesson yeah right the one thing that’s helped me a lot chipping is I used to do what you do and it was quite flat so I’d get around myself and when you’re fairly flat yeah there’s a thing this vertical swing plane this is the thing that’s really helped getting that steeper so the club angle measured for from here to here yours is very much like quite flat cuz it’s coming from behind you you want to try and feel like you’re getting it pretty much almost like 90° like the lies like that and the clubs just working up and down the line so when you get it in here y you’re always going to struggle to strike it because you’re going to probably put them out before it okay and then you got to get that comes out yeah yeah if you can literally feel like almost like you’re getting a club up and down the line starting from there like Mak striking it so much easier okay yeah you want to feel like the club head the coming here is working pretty much just straight up and down the line so you may want to like to stand a tiny bit closer which will increase your vertical swing plane a bit and then what I do is just feel like even more mate that club can work way higher like that up and down that line few practice swings that’s it even that’s it just nice and high up and down the line good your low Point control should be much better just give it a try I mean it’s better already and then it’s still going to probably feel a bit sensitive but once you like start gaining control of the strike then your confidence will increase and then that like nervy stuff will go but that’s just a start anyway that’s a it’s progression yeah that’s it’s a massive progression yeah I’ll roll with it he’s not going to hold it we know that worst putter no no I’m the worst putter right map from a certain range this is outside map range is it map range is I’m not even trying to wind him up it’s like on a down slope sat amongst some tangly rough that’s got a load of sand next to it so it’s probably quite soft under it so this is actually really hard onto the down slope pretty quick I mean they could have extended the grand repair really couldn’t they yeah just like nice and close weight forward just really get that club working up and down just keep the weight on the left side so we want to focus on yeah and it is quick when it gets in the green and it will be coming out and not much spin so yeah it’s come out quite soft actually contact though you made contact it’s moving in the right direction still got a tiny bit shallow on the way back so there’s room for improvement but already it’s better you don’t not want to go long dear no it’s pretty quick and then gets quicker after it it’s gone a little past quick is it so bad got a bit whff there mate sliced theart we being pressured by the group behind now so we got to they’ve already pulled out the old uh on hip hand on hip even though they’ve just got to us there you go good po uh hopefully it’s straight good but right we’re making this whole driveable today it’s about
