posted the picks earlier and that is juel Lloyd over 20 and a half points scored uh tonight for the Seattle Storm that’ll be our only play for this game maybe we’ll take a we’ll track the in-game total here Seattle don’t play in the same type of track meets as Vegas does Seattle could be a live dog here but you know what we had six WNBA picks we’re down to the last one so that’s our last pick of the WNBA at least uh before the game starts juwel Lloyd of the storm to score over 20 and a half points uh the Boston Red Sox just beat uh the tto Blue Jays seconds ago the Dodgers and the Rockies this Series has been a run Fest at Kors over the last couple of days the Dodgers are up 64 right now in the bottom of the fifth inning in-game total is 15 and a half Garrett Cole came back uh tonight didn’t last uh very long but he looked okay all things considering unlike Walker ber who came back uh from from injury and has to go uh back on the injured list Cole’s fast ball topped out at about 97 miles an hour uh tonight which I think is a positive uh sign you we all knew he wasn’t going to go uh that long he threw 62 pitches kind of what I would have expected five strikeouts uh tonight uh for him uh but the game is still going on right now so G Cole is back but the game is still going on and it’s 5-4 for Baltimore we’re on Baltimore it’s the top of the ninth inning they do have a runner on um uh they got a runner on first base but there’s one out right now they’re up 5’4 they’re minus 600 on the money line if you think the Yankees can come back they’re plus 400 uh on the money line college baseball before the college baseball World Series started our pick was the Tennessee Volunteers the Tennessee Volunteers have punched their ticket they’re going to the finals they win they advance and they’re knocking on the door right now they were plus 500 before uh the tournament started uh Texas A&M and Florida are playing uh right now we’re on Texas A&M minus 125 they’re winning five nothing in the top of the seventh inning uh we’ll keep her eye on this in-game total is currently eight and a half and um the Florida Gators are plus 1650 speaking of the Florida Gators uh Olivier R you from Montreal actually and longtime listeners and viewers of the show will remember the name and our boy Pete Anapolis and I have been talking about this kid for like the last I don’t know 10 10 years or so since he was about like nine 10 years old he was like 7 feet tall when he was like 11 all right so he’s committed to the Florida Gators 7 foot n 7 foot n he makes Wen Bama look uh short all right he’s got a little bit of skill too we’re not talking about like a man bow or a Sean Bradley type of player he’s got a little skill to his game obviously he’s playing for the Florida Gators um but I wanted to bring that up as long as we were talking about the Florida Gators all right we’re gonna get into some golf we got Brady Cannon stepping up and then the Reggie redhead cam Stewart in the house Paul bovie you know Paul’s um putting in some football Futures and Paul’s getting involved with the Stanley Cup Ian Cameron of course but Bano is going to be involved with the Stanley Cup and speaking of the Stanley Cup the number pretty much is the same as it was last night the Oilers are plus 275 plus 280 to win the Stanley Cup which I actually think they will they need to win obviously they need to win on Friday to win the cup but if they are able to win on Friday they’re not losing on Monday they will win game seven in Florida game six is going to be the tough one back home right now the Florida Panthers are going to be the you know the quote desperate team that’s kind of been humiliated uh the last couple of games so can’t wait for the uh the game on uh on Friday but it doesn’t mean we need to wait until Friday to bet because we brought this up earlier in the week and some people uh a lot of people rolled their eyes I said you know Carter McDavid could win the Cod SM trophy the MVP even if the Oilers don’t win now it’s almost like you know get in now on this right now the thing with the the MVPs uh is the the awards they’re voted on by the media and not everybody in the media is going to tell you who they’re going to vote for but some of them do some of them will so anytime like I see the media talking and normally I tune you know some of this stuff out but anytime I notice any of them talking about the MVP stuff and I know these guys actually vote on this so I’m going to shut up and listen to what they’re talking about here it’s it’s pretty much done nobody on the Florida Panthers has been great right Conor McDavid is like next level MCG is they’re ready to give it to him uh C SMI minus 150 so we’ll get into this uh throughout the evening it’s the Stanley Cup uh finals uh we have to wait until Friday but it really could be a special night uh on Friday so we’ve got golf Brady cannon in the house with a CFL football is uh Thursday night hard to believe we’re already going into week uh three we’re off to a good start in the CFL unlike a lot of people like we don’t play around I know people like you know I get a million tweets oh who do you like in this who do you like that so I just give people a pick for every damn game right so uh we’ve given a side a total and a teaser for every CFL game so far this year and we’re 16 and8 not a bad start through uh through two weeks we looked to keep it rolling tomorrow but ban will have a bunch of CFL uh picks uh for us tomorrow soccer is going to be absolutely lit you’ve got Denmark and England you want a battle of Blue Bloods you’ve got Spain and Italy and oh yeah the Copa America starts uh tomorrow for the first time ever in America and the defending uh World Cup champions Argentina are opening up the tournament against Canada uh tomorrow night a spectacular day of soccer and in fact one of the most stocked soccer days in the history of the sport As Good As It Gets um you know you got Slovenia and Serbia in the morning as well uh Euro Cup uh continued uh today Scotland Scotland a dramatic game with Switzerland very very entertaining match ends in a one one draw I don’t know how that game stayed under the number what it was all said and done but V saved the Scots a couple of times and you know the the the Swiss kind of beat themselves there was one of those off sides and and you know one of them was just offside it is what it is what are you going to do it’s stupid but you know he was a little offside but it was in the box I don’t understand that you know you you can’t be it’s sort of like offside in hockey once you’re inside the Blue Line you can’t be offside anymore like imagine if they started calling offside in hockey from the faceof circle in and oh you’re behind the defender if you’re behind the defender and you’re in the Box in front of the net that’s the defender’s fault you’re not offside right I think it’s a stupid rule but there was another play when Switzerland got the ball and it was a great pass and Buddy scored on a breakaway the ball went through everybody he didn’t need to jump offside the ball was coming to him anyways but he got a little bit too excited so it ends up uh in a one-nil draw but we’ll have a ton of soccer picks uh for all the action uh tomorrow Paul bovie uh on the radar here uh tonight and uh Brady I can’t help but have to ask you about Willie Mays growing up in the Bay Area you being a San Francisco Sports uh fan the Say Hey Kid passes away at age 93 uh how big of a fan what are your thoughts on on Willie May’s passing well he he was pretty big in my household Gabe um you know it immediately made me think of my mother who who passed away a few years ago who was uh you know he was her favorite player and and the guy just had such a Grace and his big smile and and not only a Grace as a person but obviously as an athlete just glided through the center field area there um I mean the accolades you can just pile on here forever but he you know growing up I I I mean gosh basically by the time I was alive and saw Willie May he was a met at that point you know in the in the early 70s uh so I didn’t really get to see the guy play but uh he he was always the big dog in our household as far as the Giants went and it was a long time I mean what the Giants didn’t win a World Series until 2010 I think it was 53 years or something like that in San Francisco before they won a championship so we didn’t have a lot to celebrate so Willie Mays was the guy to celebrate for a long long time in our household I said last night too he’s one of those guys that like you said everybody liked there’s you know what I mean sort of like Barry Sanders Muhammad Ali there’s very few people that that everybody it’s like oh yeah he’s just revered by everybody and I couldn’t believe it I saw the video of Vince Scully meeting him for the first time and I couldn’t I can’t believe that him and Vin Scully never met until like 2016 or something like that that is crazy yeah yeah and I retweeted the video and Vin is in the in the Press you know he’s in the booth and they bring and he turns around and scl’s like oh my God and it was interesting to hear scly say he goes and he kind of said it lower he goes you know he goes I got to tell you something you’ve always been my favorite player of all time and he goes even though you were always wearing the wrong colors and Willie sort of chuckled that’s awesome and then and then Vin leaned in he goes and for the record you’re also the greatest player that I’ve ever seen play or ever called and it was it’s a great it’s a great little video that’s awesome man yeah that’s really super cool and then Vinnie even goes you know I wanted to ask you about something and it wasn’t the catch it was another catch he goes do you remember once that you uh hit your head on a concrete like wall and you hung on and the ball was lying on your chest and your teammate came over and like showed it to the showed it and he’s like yeah and he goes yeah yeah Bas is loaded right and it was we’re talking about a play like literally in like 1951 or something right he’s like what Bas is loaded huh and he’s Abit field huh he’s like yeah abbit field Bas is loaded and Willie remembered it then recited the story and then Vin great little it’s all like a three minute clip but it’s just one of the amount of baseball history and knowledge uh in that all right so we go for to see him a little later uh you know when I right out of college when I started covering all Bay are Sports um I was in the Giants locker room a few times and I did see him around once or twice you know because he was Barry Bond’s God yeah so yeah never really got to say hi to him or anything but that that was cool to see he in bonds together too what about Frank Robinson as a kid did you see Frank Robinson oh yeah yeah and that was before I was he was the manager he was the manager I guess when you were the kid right when you were a kid yeah some people don’t realize how good that guy was MVP and both that’s what I’m bring the only man to this day that’s been uh yeah and also until the steroid era he was like ranked fourth all time in home runs like he was like he was like right up there yeah and I got to know him pretty well and it bothered the hell out of him you know what I mean like it really did like he was like these son of a [ __ ] are like erasing me in the history books like he was not happy like he was he was like he said he told he SI gu had steroids in in a 60s there’s no steroids I hit the damn ball he like you know hard not is like he was so so B he was like a poor man’s Hank Ken yeah um except even more dynamic in the set as far as I told you earlier Brady in a day today I get it like I understand you could argue because you know he even said he would play and he would like to play in the Olympics but at the same point in time you left for another tour right and that that was part of the deal you got paid a lot of money and that tour is not part of these rankings and we’re not going to redo everything just for for you so I get both sides of it but I really don’t actually I’m not like um I’m not outraged like some in the golf world are about it no not not at all I mean like you said babe I mean they hand they were going to be dealt when they decided to go take the money and run if you will uh and it it is a little frustrating when you hear these live guys you know Taylor gu some of these other guys talking about the world rank hey we understand it’s flawed at this point I mean what is it Dustin Oren nean I think is ranked about 95th in the world that is very far from accurate this guy’s probably a top 10 if not top 15 player in the world so we know it is certainly flawed um but hey these guys knew going in that it it wasn’t it wasn’t part of the deal when you when you jump ship you were no longer going to be a part of the owgr now apparently it seems they continue to get closer on this potential merger and maybe that you know is a part of the program I don’t know we’ll just have to wait and see gu and these guys should shut up they can’t even do do anything on the like why you win a live tournament look what Bryson D Shambo he wins Majors yeah and take a look take a look at the four guys that are there Gabe on the US Olympic team you can make a case all of them are amazing like there’s no there’s no flaws to anybody they could the top eight us guys they could have USA team one two and three so I don’t see it as a problem as well I agree with you guys it’s ridiculous so you’ve got the live and the um the PGA going head-to-head now right literally and figuratively and it’s you know it’s one thing their competition but it’s another thing like when you know like when they you know they said oh we’re trying to grow the game no you’re trying to crush the PGA you’re not trying to grow the game let’s just be real here right if you’re you’re coming into America and you’re playing that’s my whole deal with Bryson and I got no beef with with the live I got no beef I’m not here with any ethical uh type of uh Hill stand on but if you’re going to sell out and move overseas for an overseas tour don’t cry that you’re Captain America after and you want to play for America like you kind of like you chose you chose to do this but without being stated do you guys have any live picks yes I do and it is kind of odd that you uh that you mention you know they’re trying to crush the PGA Tour the biggest problem for the live is exposure nobody literally like nobody watches their events um so why are you going head-to-head with a uh signature event on the PGA tour why don’t you play next week or something like that when they’re at the rocket Mortgage in Detroit and no one’s there maybe I don’t know anyway I do I I watch it Brady because it’s on with all the old shows that games like Norman design uh treelined Fairways got to have accuracy off the tea got to hit greens and regulation and when you miss the greens you got to be able to scramble and Putt we have seen this course quite a bit on the corn faery tour now we’ve also got a Norman design in Maya Koba Riviera Maya right outside of Cancun they played that course earlier in February Sergio Garcia came in second at Maya COA now Garcia and Norman also have a connection on the PGA tour the Valero Texas open at TPC San Antonio a Norman design where Sergio was the right-hand man he was the player consultant there so I think there’s kind of a connection between Sergio and maybe he knows something a little bit about Norman designs what goes into great thinking when he does these courses I think he ought to set up well at another Norman course this week and he’s been probably the hottest player on Liv this year he’s top five in greens and regulation and driving accuracy and comes off of a 12th Place finish at the US Open and I played him at 20 to1 another guys who’s had an outstanding year on the Liv circuit is Lou usas played him at 20 to1 second on the circuit and driving accuracy number one in scrambling number two in putting and then I went to D burmaster who we hit in LIV Miami he was a a hot item I know cam really liked him going into the US Open because he’s one of the best players in the world going right now so I’m gonna try my hand at him here down in Nashville and then finally the last one kind of a flyer here 100 to one Caleb Sarat 20-year-old kid was the Freshman of the year in the SEC because he goes to the University of Tennessee Knoxville so I have to believe he’s familiar with this course a couple hours away in Nashville and he also finished 13 at the other Norman design previously mentioned Liv mayakoba so we’ll see make it lucky only 54 guys in the field 100 to one shot on Caleb Sarat we’ll see if he can get home Scotty Sheffer was not lucky uh last week but he’s still a massive favorite uh this week and it was unbelievable I played a that six I played a six player parlay to be top 20 $50 to win $2,000 and sheffler was the only one that didn’t finish wow and out of just out of out of Cruelty I played the exact same parlay top 40 and he finishes 41st 41st yeah it’s unbelievable so I the top 40 as a little bit of insurance I was like I’ll do top I’ll be like oh I’ll do a top 40 too just in case and even that was like 8 to one or something right I was like all right let’s see what happens and 41st I’m like man I should have freaking cashed out but um sheffer’s plus 375 Xander’s plus 750 you got to you got a badass field here man everybody’s here uh except Rory I should know RoR Rory is not but uh what do you like of The Travelers yeah you know I it wouldn’t be surprising if Scotty came back and just crushed everybody again when everybody’s backed off of him because you know the the public the recreational better likes to likes to bet on what nobody really expected him to perform the way he did so I went really with guys that were very hot picks last week and all performed very well and I think this is a similar type of golf course different in size and length and everything but I think the skill sets that you need are very similar driving accuracy hit Greens in regulation this will be a birdie Fest you know we got to 23 under last year 19 underpar the year before um so you’re going to have to go low and I went with guys that are real accurate off the tea can hit Greens in regulation and wh some putts and I started with Tommy Fleetwood at 35 another top 20 finish last week he’s been red hot had a great week in Canada you guys recall Corey Connors another Canadian two top 10 in his last three starts grabbed him at 39 to one SE who will be going to the Olympics just for a record Cory car believe go knocked out hadwin because of his T9 my buddy’s golfing with hadwin they became very good friends over a while and hadwin like was telling me he’s like man CU Cory got T9 knocked me out of the Olympics Gabe one one spot can you believe that they finish inside the top 10 Nick Taylor and Cory Connor will be Team Canada yep okay that’s pretty darn good too Sim uh you know Tommy Fleetwood Cory Connors and sep stro has really become a sexy pick for the majors you know these guys were all popular at the US Open well if I think the skill set is similar why not try him here at around the same price when the field is half the size uh straa has had great finishes at a couple of the correlated courses I used this week and then finally I went to Tom Kim who’s been a guy that’s just lingering around the top 20 for the last you know two and a half months and and he seems like he’s always one of those guys that can get hot and and you know go low on a Saturday and put himself in contention over the last 24 rounds he’s eighth in this field for birdies are better gain so you know all these guys in the neighborhood of 35 to 50 to1 Tommy Fleetwood Cory Connor sep straa and Tom Kim I think they all have a great shot I all play I played them each for top 20 finishes Brady Cannon uh with us cam what do you got I got a lot of the same stuff I think Patrick Klay this week he’s trending in the right direction Carver and I both like him at 20 to1 a lot of the guys in the golf world like him as well Sam Burns I think is very dangerous this week a good course for him at 35 Brian Haron fits all of my check marks I know Brady knows he can get it around here very short course to breny don’t be surprised a lot of guys small ball hitters will be in the mix this week so we could have like an 80 to 100 to one sep straa Brady that’s where we read each other’s mail JT Poston to me is not a that that’s a crazy price to me at 80 to1 on a guy that’ll do really really well here and Andrew putam is my super bomb of the week putam this guy could play like 200 to one R I couldn’t believe it go I’m like give your home crowd I think that’s even more difficult than getting it done on the road in game six oh I agree and I think that’s why I think this is the toughest game for Edmonton right now is actually the game six not to dismiss the game seven but it’s going to be hard for Edmonton to match that intensity that they just played with on the road the Panthers are definitely going to be a much hungrier completed on Monday but going back home is going to be tricky for them hockey team to play better on the road they have less distractions they get more focused and it’s going to be tough for the a split steel here Paul so I’m not hedging I could actually win both these still yeah you could I I can’t go against the Oilers right now that’s a Rous crowd and even though you say Florida might have an advantage or would be better off closing it out here rather than going to a game seven uh I I just can’t go against Edmonton right now with the way the goal tending is going for Florida goal took Edmonton on the puck line I thought there was a lot of value there so I actually got out of the series because I’m still in with Florida minus a130 but I went Puck line last night didn’t need it but laid what I felt was a fair number but I think right now you’re looking at a closer game uh when they play on Friday and a puckline might make sense here and taking the Florida Panthers Cam what after the three- game win streaks losing streaks incredible yeah so like why can’t they do it again boom here we are now so it’s like two more to go but how about this guys you want to talk about goal tending Stuart Skinner in games four through game seven in the playoffs this year in serieses his record is 9 and0 what 1.56 goals against average a 938 save percentage and he pitched one shot out along the way and that’s just not him that’s the Oilers so the Oilers are nine and0 in in elimination games in the playoffs they really do get better as the series goes on Paul I’m tell yeah and he’s the hot he’s the hot guy right now 65 shots only four goals allowed so uh big Advantage there for Edmonton offensively last night they were the aggressor late uh in the game Florida definitely put a lot of pressure on him but he responded didn’t give up that tying goal and uh it’s going to be it’s a very compelling Series right now and yes we could be looking at uh history being made it’s very possible by the way when was the last time in an NHL playoff series that a team came back from 3-0 194 and one it only happened once it’s happened four times in NHL history but in the Stanley Cup there is concerned I I do think I think I do think Florida will be much more aggressive from the start and I would take him over a half a goal in the first period I think they will score a goal and uh you probably lay about a dollar5 do2 on it no more than that so uh that’s that’s how I would play it yeah first period is going to be critical I think Edmonton are going to Ambush him again I think Edmonton are going to come out flying and just punch them in the mouth I I actually do I think it’s going to be just a big time party in Edmonton on Friday once again but you know they still have one more uh one more game to go I’m a little bit uh I would be cautious though just my own personal opinion I get you know the Panthers whatever the Panthers are going to be the ones are going to have to worry about like an original Avalanche early in the game like that crowd is going to be the most fired up crowd that Anthem is to be the loudest craziest Anthem in like the history of hockey the Oilers are going to be fired the F up early but Florida could make them pay Edmonton could get that’s what happens to home teams you get excited you make a mistake you get caught you know what I mean the defenseman gets caught pinching a lot of bad things can happen I can’t wait for this game I wish it was uh tomorrow night so I brought up the I was just gonna say just remember Edmonton has more pressure on them because Florida still has a game in their back pocket so they can afford to come out and be very aggressive knowing that they fell behind by several goals early on because they weren’t aggressive so I think you’re going to see the Florida Panthers of the second period and the third period uh you’re going to see them show themselves in the first period uh on Friday night now I I think you’re going to get a goal at it I can’t wait see how this uh plays out I think that the um I think that the Edmonton Oilers right now the momentum that they have and the confidence that they have on offense right now is just going to be a little bit too much the Panthers can’t keep up if the Oilers start scoring and we’re seeing this right now like the Panthers need to play like a 2-1 hockey game you know what I mean they need to shut Edmonton down completely but if Edmonton get going at all we’ve seen Florida just quite frankly cannot keep up they’ve been outscored like 15 to two man in the last like eight periods now yeah it’s one game 8 to one one game 8 to one and you know how uh how these games at three 0 go you fall behind a little bit and you say to hell would it we’ll just get to the next game yeah how did they react after they lost 81 they were down three nothing that’s the concerning thing to me usually you come back when you lose the game and you come back that’s the problem that’s the problem not I’ll tell you one thing Paul they got to weather the storm in the first minute or two of the game when Edmonton goes nuts if Bron let an acheve goal you got
