on y’all it’s that easy but speaking of us being back together you know what I’m saying we did miss our boy like what last the last uh three took a little time off game three and game four time show up to the set said this is it these are the only lights you guys have here you you know we got to be L we see you game three game four out there with our boy one of our you know past guest Stephen A you know what I mean you know what I’m saying and and uh uh Michael will bun yeah you know how was it besides you know working across from us how was it working with them big dogs and and that atmosphere with all that them lights camera and action in you in your face and all that noise like how how was this you got come it was nothing like working with y’all I say that y okay um love that no man it was uh it was an experience for sure you learned something I learned a lot okay and I learned that that [ __ ] is not easy I I was going into it like how hard could this be type of thing and then like doing it and being a part of it it was just like man this [ __ ] is tough right cuz you gotta it’s it’s only like the windows is like a minute and a half two minutes max of talking about you know what I mean what’s going on in the game or whatever the topic is but then you got so many you know Brilliant Minds that want to give their take and discuss and and so you kind of have to be quick and sharp with your answers uh because you don’t have that much time so it’s you know what we’re used to is conversation and you know longwinded answers it’s the complete opposite of just being like that and then so you got people talking in your ear they telling you to countdown like this you know you got 10 seconds left so you trying to wrap up your your [ __ ] all while there’s fans looking at you while you’re talking you have someone saying hey wrap it up yeah I mean not not not they all hear the same thing if he speak like that but like they’re giving you the time so like say they’re on they’ll be like you’re on in two minutes and then we’re on and then they’re like all right minute and 30 left all right minute left all right 45 seconds left but you’re talking and you’re listening to this and you’re like oh [ __ ] like let me get this [ __ ] out quick like let me say what I got to say you respect them now nine eight you like oh [ __ ] so it was it was a little nerve it was a little nerve-wracking cuz it was just you know it was a new experience but I give those guys a ton of credit I appreciate Malika like Malika is a star bro just the way that she was directing and Dam or uh demanding the room and you know traffic controll and the personalities um and she’s only like 28 29 like she’s young like and so she’s going to be a star in in that space for a long time she made the job and the process so much EAS easier for me um all of them did though stepen a had great advice Michael wilbon had great advice Kendrick Perkins had had great advice I like the resp everybody was blowing it up Stephen he don’t do that hey don’t do that I I I I didn’t like that moment just because of like he’s like and I and and I rock with Stephen A obviously but just like Let it go you know what I mean just just let it go let some [ __ ] go it’s not that he like Kawai wants to play like he I I will keep beating that over the head until I’m like you know out of breath he wants to play like he keeps like making it something that Kawai doesn’t want to play or he doesn’t want to be there like it just you know I I think we rolled Kawai a lot this year to where it kind of got to the point of like right hey like there only so much my body can take right now like he he we we we [ __ ] exhausted a lot out of Kawai this season and so I I just think at some point your your body breaks you down and that’s just I think the the case there but yeah I wasn’t I didn’t I didn’t appreciate appreciate that moment I know I laugh cuz it was you know what else are you supposed to do just cuz of the situation it was light-hearted but you know deep down it was just like man you gota let that go Stephen A yeah it’s his job but at the same time I was also thinking like man like it’s your first time live television NBA finals and like he’s he’s already you know going which again I get it I mean i’ probably do the same it’s it’s entertaining like people as whatever it is entertaining people for sure laughed at it but I thought it was I was kind of like I felt bad for you in that only that moment the Joel and beat stuff that’s just funny like you can’t really worry about him but Stephen A knows it’s your first time you’re going up on stage or on the the what do they call that I almost said Pulpit just because of and he hit you with that no it did yeah I didn’t I wasn’t prepared for that moment dude the funniest part about Stephen A Smith is his intro into the stadium I just laugh at those dude that is so funny bro like he’s playing in the game I love Pops or some he got a smooth swag I want to know if I want to get like a 20 years back or 15 however long it was when he started like swag what was that intro like then honestly he’s M he got the swag mastered now like he comes in the intro is yeah swag stepped up more though the bigger he got clean it’s all the way different hey he he’s he’s an icon hey what’s up with your boy Kawai though did he he he they was had a picture of him where he act like he cut his hair off or something I saw that it’s so it’s it’s dreads it’s it’s he he just got them braided back oh okay I was right saw he didn’t cut his hair cuz uh wifey showed it to me like oh [ __ ] Kawai like cut his hair it looked like it and I was looking like damn he sure did the way it was Fuzzy and it was another uh side profile picture of he didn’t cut his yeah he ain’t cut it I don’t think he ever cutting it I don’t think he would either at this point he didn’t had it since he was in high school college that’s his look his look yeah I don’t think he’ll look right at this point at this point in time cutting that [ __ ] off we all know what he look like I want to ask one more follow-up question though for you being on TV and broadcasting fast forward will go 10 years 10 years out and someone offers you TNT or whoever gets the right someone offers you a mass of1 $150 million contract to be an analyst after doing it do you think that’s something that you see yourself doing when you’re done 150 mil oh [ __ ] Charles just got out the way Charles Barkley just got out the way that’s what I’m saying there’s gonna be you know what I I said that I wouldn’t it wouldn’t be something that I wanted to do before doing that and I’m still you know on the fence of of going down cuz talking to like Kendrick like it’s long days like some some days they’re shooting 12 hours like it’s 12 hours in the studio of work um yeah you don’t you don’t know that like he does the before the game stuff he does like you know reporting injuries or reporting statuses of the game like he does that then he does like um you know the little hour hour and a half segments two hour segments on ESPN in and then he does meeting calls and prepping and and it’s it’s a lot that goes into it and then you finally do the show on the game it’s a lot that they do that goes into it but I don’t know I I I Never Say Never Shout out to to Dave Roberts um the head of uh the head guy over there who you know um kind of uh took me under his wing during that weekend and and you know kind of laid the landscape down of what it would look like um if I wanted to explore down that that Avenue um so he definitely has my my mind wondering and open to the idea of doing that you know what I mean yeah won’t you tell him that you want to uh we could do podcast P Break podcast P they got Kevin Hart doing NBA unplugged why we can’t be up there doing the same thing your boy you over there working with him come on got start looking out for us like this is this that’s a good idea I mean like for real that’s a good idea I might have to present that we can talk the game we can analyze the game like you like we normally do but actually watching it like how Kevin he bringing his boys right come on man we can do that’s the beauty of podcast P we can do it right here hey but these for the people who don’t watch podcast P we introduced him to podcast P podcast p on the show now they familiar with us from and then we on podcast P they come follow us podcast you smart you smart them gray hairs ain’t for nothing come on you think we just doing this to be on podcast p on this all day right we got to move up we got to move up speaking of moving up P let’s talk about some other [ __ ] to you know what saying because I was gonna ask you don’t some real [ __ ] what did what did Michael wiln Malik Kendrick Malika and Kendrick and Stephen teach you like what’s something that you can tell that they taught you you can let us know I think all of them all of them gave great advice but I think the one that stuck with me the most was Kendrick’s advice and Kendrick advice was like give your expertise perspective more so than being analytical and statistical you know what I mean I think game three that I covered I was trying to get the stats and you know be uh he shot three for five from the field which is 20% lower than yeah I was trying to be like too you watch it reporter is on the show opposed to like just giving my how you watch the game my perspective my point of view like give that that angle because that’s really what the people want to hear and see like my perspective on the game right more so than like you know just reporting it like I was a reporter uh of the NBA so once he told me that I I I started to write down stuff as I’m watching the game just to keep my thoughts fresh um and then that’s I felt way more comfortable game for I was still a little nervous during both of them but I felt a lot more comfortable when I started you know doing it from that point of view well congratulations P proud of you you look good who styled you uh shout out Tony Tony shout out Tony and Shout out my sister toosa they both St they both collaborated and styling me for the week why no chain the first one though why’ you bring the chain out the second I I just wanted to be smooth clean that blue I wanted to pop out and show not like I’m the one at to SCH with them you know everyone’s got a thirst a drive to be the next big thing to put the world on notice and for me to be one of the best basketball family and his loved ones and we were all fortunate enough to have his presence in season one of podcast P which was personally one of my favorite episodes that we’ve done but P can you describe to me a little bit more about your personal relationship with Jerry and maybe one thing that you will miss the most um about him yeah first you know obviously sending condolences to the family um miss Karen West send you the upmost uh hugs love to the family um man I think I said it on the show of him being an NBA father what I meant by that is more so us being his NBA Sons um when you look at you know how he impacted Kobe how he impacted um Shaq um you know KD Steph that Warriors group myself kawhai um he just impacted so much of our lives with just his storytelling his perspective his point of view his charisma his um you know he was just an allaround good dude man somebody that I could always talk to he was at you know towards the early part of my time there he was pretty much at every practice every game you would see him under the basket stanion and there’ll be times throughout the game where I’m like looking at him and you know he’ll give me you know very subtle you know head Bobs or you know he’ll just you know give me one of these and I knew what that meant um every time it was just like a connection that I had with him that you know it it was it was you know after practices was is what I’ll miss most because he would hang out on the sidelines and uh you know we’ll finish a practice off and you know he just always had good information to report and it was you know I remember one time he walked out on the court and it was subtle what he was teaching me but it made so much sense and it was just about my point of attack like when you attack in a basket your feet need to be Square towards the rim opposed to like squaring it out um towards like the sideline and it was something I tried to work on like of just being a lot quicker A to B being precise on my drives and attacking the hips uh so that I’m like all momentum is going towards the rim instead of having a chance for a Defender to angle me off um and we literally was out there for like a good 15 20 minutes of just trying to rep that out um but I mean he was you know the same way I thought Co in my corner was Jerry West was like a cheat Cod um even from a motivational standpoint like it’ll be times where I’ll just ask him questions on Co you know what I mean what would coob do in this situation or how was CO’s mentality and you know he’ll shoot it to me straight like you know you you got to be better here you got to be better there wish took that golf lesson that’s I miss so bad from a from a not to be from a selfish standpoint of like that’s the reason I wanted to get get with him of course of course but just you know what I mean that that knowledge that he could have shared and passed to me but he he’s definitely missed he’s missed already um cuz it it it was it was like one of those people that you like literally had a relationship and was close to um you know passing especially unexpectedly um you know I last I saw him he looked great he was in great spirit summerly yeah he was great spirit he looked good you know um you know I had no no inclination of of it going bad at that point um and so yeah I mean the NBA World lost on Nikon a legend uh you know and again condolences to the family I know he didn’t care but they should never change the logo yeah they got to keep it he didn’t care but I don’t think they should ever change it now just because he was alive to know about and he said what he said like he really don’t care but right cuz you don’t want to wa like you don’t want to wipe or rase history at this point now especially now you know Jerry West’s history yeah exactly speaking of Jerry West how did we get Jerry West on our show how did that happen you called him or what somebody airon somebody because he work for the Clippers so I know it’s kind of easy but how it happened yeah no I mean just uh he’s you know he’s very Jerry’s very close with my agent so you know they’re they’re very friendly um and I think I reached out to him like doing a practice or a game or something like that we had a a moment where we crossed paths on it and I was like man you should come come on the Pod Jay and uh he didn’t know what podcasting was uh but he was like you know sure young man um sure young man is that what he was saying yeah yeah sure young man either you either was young man or [ __ ] no between it was no in between he drove up by himself that day he drove here by himself by himself 80 some years old talking to people he didn’t really do that you know what I mean he had a driver and you know he drove here by himself which was didn’t want to leave he was still talking here early yeah here early stay 15 20 minutes after signed does he signed jersey signed basketball cards hey and I said I feel like he opened the door to like be vulnerable in this space yep cuz you know his storytelling talking about the death of his brother his up with father that hurt me when he was talking about that that’s what I’m saying it kind of just set the foundation of like oh okay we we could be vulnerable here like yeah I’m excited to read my my I was at church this Sunday and was hanging out with my dad after for Father’s Day and he has like a section with like all his he’s got like my dad loves to read um but I saw a Jerry West book and we was talking about he’s like man you don’t realize like like you got to interview like Jerry West he’s like you need to go read that book because I know who Jerry West is but more so from like a basketball standpoint but my dad said that his book was like fantastic and you can learn more about you know kind of like what he said he didn’t want to be remembered for the basketball stuff so I’m going to start start reading it and I’m excited to to to learn more about him about him yeah no that that that’ definitely be interesting D I think I think the NBA should do him a solid do the family is solid and just you got to you got to retire the number League wide oh like 4 before should forever be hung cuz it’s he’s he’s the logo like he’s the he should have a jersey in every Arena yeah literally yeah every Arena he’s an icon to the game of basketball like I agree with you and and he’s and he’s a part of so many stories so many story lines so many stories so many franchises dynasties that’s been built like ex from an executive from a coach from a player you got to do them a solid and that number should forever be in every Raptor in in Arena he ain’t no replacing a Jerry West man care who the Clippers get now can’t replace him of course ain’t no replacing him man dang I don’t even know how to bring my next question in you know I’m saying speaking of my boy but um he’ll be mad at you and upset with y’all anyway you know what I’m saying I want to take you back P to your Clipper season I know you probably don’t want to go there and everything but I’mma take you there you know y’all got y’all ass whooped by the western conference champions the Dallas Mavericks and and uh basically I just want to you to tell me p take a look back give me a look back at the season and how you will personally describe that year how how did it how did it work work out for you well it didn’t work out um I thought we had a lot of highs we had a lot of lows throughout the year you know initially you know we were rolling we made the trade had a little speed bump couldn’t get a win I think we win five games without a win and then Russ takes the initiative to come off the bench and I think from there we found a new life but during that five game losing streak like some of those games was just you know we we just was figuring each other out like we weren’t getting blown out as I remember we weren’t getting blown out they were close games we just didn’t know how to how to win win those games yet um and then Russ you know goes to the second unit and then we we was rolling you know we was rolling I think we won like 31 of 37 games 36 that’s when that was that was a stretch a stret you crossed over yeah so should I still be one you should yeah say sh we get back to it just finish what you say we get back to it yeah yeah yeah we’ll get back to it we’ll get back to it um but yeah we went through that stretch we were rolling we were playing well and then I think we hit the hit the slump of like teams new all right this is who the Clippers are so they scouted they scouted us our defense wasn’t clicking our offense wasn’t as good good um from a a pacing like just movement standpoint um and then you know why goes down and at that point we was you know we was just trying to make it make it happen finish strong um and try to hold you know because we were hearing that you know at some point he could come back during the playoffs but um you know we rolled against a good Dallas team that was well scouted against us um they did a great job shout out Jay kid and and and their um I think what beat us is their defense more so than the offense defensively Jason kid did a good job of of you know having a game plan and kind of stop myself and James and force others to beat him um and it and it worked for him now that the season’s over P when you just mentioned like how teams would guard you what would you say like were the top cuz I’m sure different teams had different game plans what was the scouting report on you guys for a majority of like is there a certain during that series dur not during the series just during the year how do you think teams were guarding you because I’m sure some teams guarded you differently I want to know what you saw like the different way teams were guarding you guys yeah well I thought they did a good job of they did a lot more switching knowing that we’re a heavy pick and roll team and you know they they they did a good job if if they weren’t switching of either Blitz liton um you know James in pick and roll or myself in pick and roll just to get the ball out of our hands and and relying on our you know relying on zoo to make the plays um or they were up high in the pck and rolls not allowing us to get downhill um but you know for me that’s that’s the coverage that I’m always seeing pick and rolls like The Bigs are going to be up because they’re afraid of me coming off getting clean looks shooting threes um so i’ I’ve seen that pretty much my whole career um so that’s how it guarded me and I think what Dallas was so good at is they had the big up but they also had people on the elbows and it was just nowhere to go like I literally had to force a shot if I wanted to be aggressive offensively or I had to get off of it um they they didn’t allow me to play at all and it it messed my rhythm up like it was times where I didn’t have rhythm and I was like trying to get into my Wile but it just wasn’t there you know what I mean the flow of it just wasn’t there um so they did a good job of just kind of shutting the floor off Pete when you look back how difficult was it at the time when You’ had to incorporate uh James Harden on the team when it was already you Kawai Russ I mean what did y’all fa connected as a team or something yeah I mean the most difficult part about it was yeah we started the year off rolling we started the year off hot everybody was playing well there was the energy there that it was kind of like like uh first time like of us all being healthy with Russ now like it was like the emergence of what it’s like being with Russ now with myself healthy quiet healthy and Russ fulltime here um so it was kind of like a fresh start of what we thought could work and then we traded to get James and it’s not James fault of why I think we struggled but I think the Lost part of that was that we lost roko we lost Nico right um those was our glue guys like that was our Defenders that was and we play small so they had the length to help us play small right right um so again it had nothing to do with losing or grabbing James it was more so losing those guys KJ Martin as well like that was our energy our young legs um so uh I think that’s kind of where you know you get to late in the year and you know we just weren’t as good as we could have been I think losing those guys kind of hurt us you know what I mean because like roko is huge for us Nico was huge for us they would go get rebounds they would block shots they would you know rotate they were defensive guys so you plug those guys around myself Kawai Russ like you know they they did a lot of the dirty work um and now you grab a you know James who’s a super super talented offensively exactly now myself Kawai like we become the dir guys and now we have to score too and it was just you know I think a lot that we were trying to balance and and manage at that point um but again had nothing to do with James James I thought was awesome for us one of the best passers I played with one of the best Playmakers um the way he just sees the floor and can take care of the ball not even just the passes he make but just his ball security um is just impressive for how much you know he’s in pick and rolls and in tight spaces and um you know especially this part of his his stage of his career being older and having young guards trying to pick him up when y’all first started I was like man I don’t know if I wanted James on the team because of all the the dribbling and all the this shooting and stuff but then when I seen it put together I was like James is perfect for this team it let’s pee chill a little bit you know get you sa you some energy from all that stuff and he can pop you know see you wide open and pop you you know for a three or something so I got I got into it I got into Hest reactions to like the struggles of the second half of the Season we went through that stretch of where we was you know was blown out at home yeah you know we we couldn’t we weren beating the quote unquote boo boo teams I just wish it was a game where y’all all played healthy yeah like where it was a game where all of y’all it was like we never really got too many of them game maybe one or two right you know what I’m saying and the rest was either you James or Russ or you maybe was out two games and Kawai play so I never really got that feeling of all of y’all and I wish I really did because it’s like y’all we still never got to see y’ potential right you know what I’m saying plus with the other people yall L brought them in then I think y’all like I like how James Harden made zubac he made him a better center to me like I used to I don’t care if he was on here zubac though I used to hate zubac I be like he’s so [ __ ] slow he just get do something but James made me like him yeah because I was like oh he can do a pick and roll real good now catching a live and you know he started doing things that I was like I’m a fan of zubac now you know what I’m saying not just because he’s your friend but I’m really like I like zubac now and I just wish with his size I just wish he could get I would say lose some weight to be faster or something because I think he can be way better if he lose weight you know what I’m saying I just think he’s a little bit too heavy but makes him slow and I think if he get muscular and all that stuff I think he’ll be a phenomenal centered in the league and that’s just my honest opinion after seeing him with James what’s your take are you ready yeah no I think well said monkey well said thank you sir I would say that your guys’s biggest at least from my perspective I think that the inconsistencies you guys were just so inconsistent the whole year right and I think that out of all you can’t control shots going in the hoop but I just think the energy levels like when you look at a team you can just I I felt there were times out there where you guys just looked lost on the defensive end and it looked like there wasn’t the right amount of effort there and I think the effort thing is the one thing that you guys can all control as a group and it would be like one person’s locked in on defense they’re showing effort but very rarely we all five players giving that effort that I think is the one controllable thing um that you really control is that effort so that’s when I look at it I just think that too inconsistent and the effort level in my opinion wasn’t there all the time and by the time you guys wanted to turn on that switch it’s too late it’s too late those those those teams that you know yeah and again that was the most frustrating part about it because you saw what team we were when we needed to be that team that’s what I’m saying exactly you know what I mean like when that when that light bulb clicked it was oh this is who the Clippers like this is why it works with you saw it and then we would have the moments of where we just thought because we had SE and so in this person and that person that we were y’all the y’all some cold [ __ ] y see on list I’m like I don’t want to play today coach like y’all was like y’all names is scary yeah just being honest y’all names is scary yeah and for y’all to just not have it together at this year when y’all have it and it’s like it just makes you so sick but you know I’m not in the NBA it’s for us to enjoy and watch it’s entertaining and it’s it’s all about stories you know y’all was had a bad year but you come back redeem yourself so that’s what it’s all about you know what I’m saying so hopefully better next next time next season man you know and hopefully y’all stay healthy enough to let us see how a Clipper team should really be you know y’all coming into a new Arena you know let us see what it is if everybody stay healthy I think y’all be the coldest [ __ ] in the league I don’t care even at the age as some of y’all are with the new people coming in I still think y’all one of the dominant teams in the league that like right now Dallas shouldn’t be here in the in the finals I I say the team that beat the Clippers should take it all the way like I’ve been said in the long run and they went literally like I said they beat y’all they beat OKC they beat the Nuggets they should be winning Boston you know what I’m saying and just if not them it should have been y’all should have been y’all y’ we right now we shouldn’t even be doing this podcast one uh one bright spot of the Season P was your health which has been an issue uh over the last couple of years but this year you were able to play in 70 games which is the most you’ve been able to play in a season for the past 5 years and you mentioned a couple weeks ago how you kind of shifted your workout routine uh for your body and just your overall conditioning and even this is a surprising stat I didn’t know that this was career shooting percentages for you from the two and the three and were really close to being in that 50 4090 club which for those of you that don’t know what that mean that a very efficient basketball player 50% from the twos 40% from three and 90% from the free throw line is just crazy but what would you attribute to the Boost of your durability and efficiency in in this past season definitely the availability um I I I started working with my strength coach that I was with when I was back in Indiana um shout out Sean Wendell he got my body right um so I started back working out with him and then I brought over actually um the guy that that did my body work and knows the body so well he’s a genius um Dan direct who actually was in Indiana as well as the like head guy that the trainers there would uh learn under um so he’s a guru like literal Guru in this world um so he kept me healthy when there was things going on AES uh like just [ __ ] just out of whack like he would come in and he would just fix me right up and I feel great you know what I mean um so those two people definitely helped I was telling him like man like I don’t even remember moving like this in a long time like I feel like my body is readjusting to like moving how I’m supposed to move again so so shout out to those two they got me right um and because of that I was able to spend more time in the gym um cuz for the longest like after practice like it was days where I was save doing shooting after practice practice or before practice just because like in my mind it was like man do I do I want my [ __ ] to be hurting now or hurting during the game you know what I mean uh so I would like forego shooting after practice just to just be healthy enough to play in the games um and so I was able to do that this year I was able to get a lot of shots up after practice during practice post practice pre-practice um and that that you know helped and kind of helped me be a little bit more efficient check it out I’m still going to put yall on to something real quick I got something you need to check out you ever heard of Bo app huh I can’t hear you that’s Bo not black the B app if not God dang it you’re missing out stupid I mean look so check it look store or Google play it’s free it’s fun it’s for us check it out let me know what y’all think so earlier in the season we talked about you facing wimy and the last time you guys played the Spurs was in November but we were discussing just how different it was because the NBA hasn’t seen someone with his height and his athleticism but as you as the season progressed and you continued to watch wimy what are your kind of final season thoughts on on him as a player and also a good question for you is what would you describe or what kind of pieces do you think would be the perfect fit for a team around wmy yeah initial thoughts the way he finished the year I think is scary for the league because I think the way he finished the year was was the momentum he needed going into this summer to be a a a totally different player coming into next season um you just look at the game against Denver the matchup against Philly um he has some really good games to close this year out where it was like damn like you can’t this is this is what wimy is like this is he’s a problem and uh the problem is is just he don’t have have the Personnel not that the guys around him aren’t good enough it’s just the Personnel is not ready for for all that he brings and his talents um if you had like a peer Point say you had like a CP or Rondo like those guys that just know basketball and know that yeah this [ __ ] 75 like wimy go right there I’mma throw this [ __ ] as high as I can go catch and dunk that like somebody sit down and just explain the game to him like this like you know if they front you just spin that ball going to be there like he don’t have that type of personnel around him to do that for to do that you know what I mean and that’s really all it takes for him to unlock point guard this year Trey Jones um was the point guard there and he’s young like he doesn’t have that experience of being able to tell wimy like listen you go right here that Ball’s going to be right there cuz it it was plays in the game and they you know obviously Instagram shows it all plays where he’s wide open but they look him off where he’s like begging for it and they don’t see him they don’t have that player that knows how to find him and get him the ball in his spots where he can just be be special I was impressed by his maturity like to what you he hand a lot yeah like with maybe not having the most developed NBA teammates and the amount of media and Spotlight like there were probably some times where he was frustrated but I think he did a great job of just being a leader going and talking to him like he wasn’t a poor sport when he didn’t get the ball he next play kept going that’s what I liked most about watching he he he did he did he was great in that aspect and I think another piece he needs is like cuz he’s not like a five he’s too thin and I I think you don’t want him to be banging and battling against you know traditional fives all season long I think he needs like a kind of like a dynamic four five player around him as well so that he’s not like glued and tied to playing a five spot but he can in spurts of a game um but he need someone that can space the floor and give him room yeah so they don’t just crowd up on him and and and you know take away his spacing um so I do think he needs someone like a dynamic four five Yeah question for you because and correct me if I’m wrong but the San Antonio Spurs I would say are mostly known to kind of farm players and and bring them through the program of the Spurs and develop players I don’t really I can’t remember the last time the Spurs I’m sure they’ve made some trades but where they did some blockbuster trade and brought you know some big Superstar over do you think that because they have wimy now that they’ll be some like how do you think they’ll handle that do you think they’re going to keep doing the traditional hey we’re gonna let these players grow or do you think they’re gonna go get in some pieces I think not this season coming they take that approach but I think The Following season they do for sure that’ll be fun to see you gotta put him with some people yeah but they just don’t do that right they they don’t they rely on building their talent up they do a great job great job drafting finding Talent um you think about jobi being a star in the second round you think about obviously Tim Duncan you knew he was going to be special but they just do a great job of finding pieces and plugging it into their system and and you know honestly you know guys performing better when it is a system that they’re playing in you know what I mean like if you know like 10 out of 10 times I have to back back cut and five out of 10 times you back cut that ball is right there like you’re going to back cut and you’re going to be pretty good because you don’t have to do much you don’t have to think about playing you just know if I do this five times out of 10 I might get that ball and it’s an easy layup so guys play better in systems um so I I think they do a great job of that I don’t think that they’ll go out and just try to kill their team just yet with trades because you don’t want to overshadow wm’s development you want him to kind of go through these growing pains and and and develop and learn how to be the star and and then you start all right I think this player goes well with him like he’s ready like I think now we go get this player um and so I think what they do is they build up their young Stars if they don’t work there at least they have a ton of footage they have a a chance to improve their stock you trade them off for for that piece that you really need around them that’ll be crazy but he’s like San Antonio is gonna be back soon I think like I said the way he finished last year he’s and then I seen he’s working with Jamal Crawford right now is he yeah he was Jamal he he won’t teach you Jamal said he won’t that’s just good like noamar said he won’t teach him another move until he get the one that he he teaching him now yeah I saw on Instagram like he’s with Jamal Crawford working with Jamal Crawford so that’s crazy working with the Vets you dig it be scary to watch him and then I mean he’s he’s got the the greatest vet in his Corner already Tim Duncan speaking of vet you a vet now damn near at right too huh P I’ve been a vet yeah You’ been a V for a while [ __ ] all these young [ __ ] on your team sh speaking of you hav been around for so damn long in the NBA you done witness firsthand evolution of how the game was really played when they used to had a big man down low now the game done change to men out which is crazy since youve been here so long being a vet and knowing all this what part of the NBA game have shift how can I say this the biggest shift in the NBA game play that you’ve seen so far this year besides that um besides that I think I think what we’re seeing more so like before I felt like the NBA were it was a place of specialist like I think specialist started to like you know three-point shooter all right that’s what he does that’s why he’s on the floor um rebounder all right that’s what he does that’s why he’s on the floor um great screener uh great finisher all right that’s why he’s on the floor like I think now the way the league is going is so skilled that like rosters like your start lineup need to be able to do both like they need to be able to play offense and play defense too like that just the way the NBA is headed with a five out game now they’re spacing so offensively guys are getting better there’s more room for them to operate now when you see like the Lucas you see the the tatums the you know these ISO heavy players now they just get to seek out what match up they want like all right he’s on the floor I’mma go at him so I think now the NBA is starting to turn towards like you know that’s why Boston is so good so good you can’t go at anybody on that Horford will lock you up you know what I mean or make you take a tough shot so there’s nobody that Boston can like anybody you put on that floor especially the start unit good luck you know what I mean you got go at Derek white all you don’t like that go against Drew oh you really don’t like that go against Tatum oh that’s tough go against Jaylen that’s tough y so like now you want to put a unit on the floor that can both play offense and play defense because you don’t need liability in this league anymore and guys are so skilled that even if you can’t dribble you can shoot or you can play defense I like that I kind of like it yeah so I I think that’s what’s changing and and and the more you hear about the word positionist like that’s exactly what they mean now it’s not like now cers are required to guard point guards or shooting guards like because you’re you’re going to have to switch like we’re going to eliminate rotations and we’re going to force a switch game we’re going to force the isolation game and play from there I it by the time this episode airs the Boston Celtics would have won the NBA Finals but speaking of Luca and defense I had a conversation with the Buddy the other day and he was asking me if I thought Luca was a top 10 NBA player and I was I was thinking about it and I’m curious what your thoughts are but I would say he’s not just because of that defensive liability and from what I’m from what I’m I try not to buy into what the media is saying like right now it’s like the fun thing to do is to say Luca can’t play any defense but the Celtics I think have done a good job of attacking him and he’s still young but just talk a little bit about Luca’s defense like is do you think that he is a big defensive liability and then to your point of needing two-way players like Luca’s so you could argue Luca’s the best scorer in NBA offensively but on defense he’s just he’s probably nowhere close like how do you look at Luca’s defense yeah I uh it’s a lot to unpacking that question right because when he played against us I don’t know game two there was a stat that came out that guys shot this percentage when Luca guarded me so they praised him defensively right for like one day but they praised him yeah they did they did and so all right we saw what it looked like when he gave effort to play defense mhm so he can play defense then now the narrative is he can’t play defense but my problem to that is it’s hard to play both ends and I don’t think guys get enough credit like you’re going to have to sacrifice as good as he is offensively it’s a reason why he’s half assing on defense because it’s hard to do that for a whole game and that’s what guys like myself are required to do like that’s the guidelines we set on ourselves is to guard the best player and be off defensively uh uh contributor like I don’t think we get enough credit and and you know the fans the commentators they don’t put enough emphasis on the guys that play both ends and try to play it at a high level you’re going to sacrifice efficiency you just have to it’s so exhausting to play against defense or to play defense as hard as you can try to get a stop and then like now you got to like you you put in perspective like and I’m not saying me like to talk about me me but just to put it in perspective of like all right say I’m guarding someone and the ball gets swung now I’m sprinting to get low man now that person is driving now I’m there ready to absorb the the contact I hit him with a a a verticality damn I get knocked to the ground I get back up the ball gets swung again I get up I go close out and chase him down I’m tired already I’m you’re tired already right cool we get the rebound now the ball gets swung to me I’m running in transition the defense is loading up watch what I do I’m tired like I just did a lot down there this no excuse but it’s just the reality of basketball more time yeah I get that but it’s just I don’t know so like okay question would you if you were building a team yeah would you rather take Drew holiday or Luca um to win I mean I’ll be and there just no nod to knock to Drew holiday but no I’m just asking like take the I’m going to take the bigger Talent okay and and and and hold him to hold him to to be a better Defender no not to Luca but Drew I got you but I’m taking you I’m just I’m just curious like CU again it’s like and like I yeah I would I see I see like Drew has a ton of value 100% he’s the reason why the Celtics are where they’re at that’s what I’m saying and it’s like such like so again it’s tough when you say you want to have two-way players but which one do you prefer I get the he a bigger talent but just pure winning but it’s not even from a he needs to lock up like I’m not saying he needs to be all defense I gotta but he’s got to have more effort like it has to mean more defensively than just CU he had what it was a stat where it was like 68% uh drives were blowb when when LCA Don is guarded that come on now like that that that can’t be like you got to take more you got to put more pride and more effort on that side of yeah and it’s hard not to believe like there’s no way like he is so he’s such a smart basketball player yeah that there’s no way that like I I think basketball is a lot of of up here KN knowing how guys moves and stuff he has it like he’s he’s very witty like he’s very like next level thinking like he’s advanced in like basketball seeing plays ahead like he if he put the effort to it he can easily not even have to be like a person I’m not asking him to be Drew or no one’s asking him to be Drew but he has that smart and that level of of like just knowing the game of knowing his defend or his his people that he’s guarding like to to to be able to play those angles better like he’s he’s like offensively he’s in a class of his own like he’s a huge talent I just think when it comes to the effort part of it he’s got to give just a little bit more effort cuz in the games what got him to this point he was was playing defense it got exposed a little bit in the Celtics series they came out game three or game four actually he played defense like he could see it he he played defense and the team saw it and they was like all right off that all that it changes everything your star players is gonna like Jason tanum he’s matched up with him and instead of like sitting behind the three-point line he’s like pushing up like let’s go if your team sees that like ah we playing def today for sure I got your back Luka well P you tell me if this is true or not man there been a lot of discourse on the way how the game has been covered L lately and it’s a lot of nostalgic people out there that that likes the old Aura of the NBA if you understand what I’m saying but you know they say the NBA the NBA Finals has been covered different and so so or whatever and as a player what do you miss about the coverage of the NBA that you wish will retire I don’t know I just think it was I think back then it was just a little bit more like it was it just had that no more NBA logo no more on the court on the court that’s crazy yeah I mean the thing about that the guys were complaining they were slipping on the uh different wood yeah well it’s like a sticker oh it’s a sticker Oh I thought that was in the nah guys were complaining about slipping on that so they they removed that but I just think the whole like hype around it is not the same like you would see like the you know the the different warm-up Jersey or the different warm-up jackets um you know the you know that the stickers on the court that kind of just made it like this is NBA finals this is different like this is different part of the season right here right I think a lot of that they kind of just took away a little bit of of the pizzazz I feel like of of what the finals is like I think for the players like cuz watching it live outside of the fans making it feel different like I feel like the NBA didn’t do nothing they had nothing to do with that right right right that’s true but the fans like the Dallas fans made it feel different than a regular game for sure like it felt like you were in like games that mean meant something meant something because they were so into it yeah yeah how loud was it in there compared to when you guys were playing them in the first round uh it was super loud louder game yeah it was louder game three was was super loud and it’s funny that I thought they were done game four cuz I walked into AR was dead like it felt like Dallas it felt like Dallas knew that they were going home like it was just no energy in that at Arena and then they come out and blow him the [ __ ] out so it didn’t mean [ __ ] at the end of the day so a few weeks ago we had a potential top five pick and Alexander SAR and Reed Shepard on the show to talk to us about the upcoming NBA draft but one of the main stars of this year’s draft for obvious reasons is bronny James and there’s been a lot of talk a lot of speculation on where he could go in the draft whether that he’s a top 10 pick up to number 55 but all things considered P he’s he’s handled the spotlight incredibly well and when you’re looking at his game what what would you say is your favorite thing about bronny james’ skill set how can I answer this I what’s most impressive is just his his basketball savviness like his basketball like you like he can do it all like I don’t I feel like he hasn’t shown that he can really be elite at a lot of things but I think he can be elite at a lot of things like I feel like he he’s like in that Derek white and it was interesting that that’s his comparisons that he wants to be like or coming out look like um but I compare him to like the Drew holiday the the Derek whites like guys that are glue guys that can go do everything on the floor and help you in like that’s kind of how I see him I saw him play uh in aou and he just had an ability to like get by get get guys the ball like he had ability to make guys better like he just played a such a controlled play that it was like oh like I I see it like he doesn’t need to be a star for watching him in the combine and hearing the the the the outcome of his different you know drills and stuff in the combine MH what most important drill that you think is like he going to get to the league because of that I didn’t really watch his combine to be honest well what you heard about I mean the fact that he’s in the 10 to 55 range says that he’s woking some people up okay there were some people that saw him and was like I would take a swing on his talent cuz if you’re in that range like I know what the draft system is like he was before going into that he was people saying that he might not even get drafted right now he’s 10 to 55 range so like there’s some people in that mix is like I’m taking him if he’s around you’re getting a good kid like you’re getting a hard worker you’re getting a good kid and if he hits if he hits like he’s doing this with all that’s LeBron’s son with all the tops right now though and making himself look this good is what I’m getting like these are the top players I don’t even want to word it like that because he’s his own person at this point like he’s his own like so don’t want to word that he’s LeBron son because he’s he’s shaking at he’s not even LeBron James J Le son he he James he don’t even go by LeBron James Jr he bronny James that’s bronny James that’s bronny James but I think if an organization grabs him and he hits like you’re a genius you drafted LeBron’s son he has all the intangibles you know he’s a good kid you know he’s a hard worker you know he’s a high level IQ player like you you hit like I think I think the it’s just the the the Society of it all is like people don’t want they someone doesn’t want to be that person to say they selected bronnie like it speak speaking you just said a GM I’m I’mma put I want you to I want to put you in a GM spot right now go ahead put me put me there I want to put you in a nice GM spot put me there but in this GM spot you can’t pick Luca Anthony Edwards and wmy and wmy okay I want to know let’s see who 25 and under would you built your franchise around today that’s they can be 25 and you can pick them too cuz it’s a lot of talent still out there right J still under 25 uh Paulo banero still 20 under 25 ball uh lamelo uh if you want to go big and down that route Chad hreen is under 25 it’s it’s there’s a lot of talent that’s under that 25 but I think who shown that they’re ready for that next jump I think was a star for sure Pao for sure Pao for sure he was that’s the perfect person he was a grown man like so would you who would you put around him you got to put Shooters around him okay and why is that because his game is is such a a transition like he’s a force right so he’s such he’s great in transition he’s great in isolations like he’s great at sizing dudes up and using his strength to get by and blow by so what takes away from that is people that are crowd his driving Lanes like he’s a driver you know what I mean he’s he’s gotten better with being a shooter but I think naturally he’s a driver he likes the contact he plays physical you got to put people around him that’s going space um so you it’s Shooters you got to put Shooters around them so who you putting that’s 25 and under damn that’s doing like I just want you to put them too I was just to ask some extra [ __ ] you got that’s extra [ __ ] because you said so many Talent talented ones if you was to put you know build around him and that was all 2 I’m not building then I’m not building around under allar said I was throwing some EXT [ __ ] I I was thr some EXT speaking of Orlando so who would you put but uh speaking of Orlando P you had one of your biggest shots of the season with your little fadea away over Jonathan Isaac uh which was a tough game from start to finish but Orlando uh showed a lot of promise this year and you can just tell kind of like when Oklahoma was taking that step that Orlando is right in the mix in the East um that could potentially be a top three seed in the East next year with that in mind though who was the most underrated or under the radar team that surprised you the most this year I mean nobody Saw Oklahoma going first in the west initially yeah I think that’s yeah um that that surprised a lot of people like that they were going to be that good this year so they’re for sure up there I think Houston Rockets surprised a lot of people with the talent that they have and how young they are I thought they had P they made a push in in the end of the season I think those young dudes just started to I don’t know what eay did but he lit a fire under him and that [ __ ] they they started to get it together um I think they surprised me and uh Orlando I think Orlando don’t surprise me just with uh they’re another young team not not a lot of expectations but you know I think when you go through it you see a leader like that that when when when the young guys separate themselves and they look promising to to lead the organization that’s that’s one of the best things you can find like it’s the most beautiful thing about this game is when you see the young guys because then like as you get older and I’m speaking from a like from a competitor in vet of the league like when you see that the game is going to be in good hands when these young guys figure out that it’s all right this is my time um I think I think that’s what poo did and that’s what he’s doing in Orlando so Orlando definitely surprised me with I didn’t think you’ve been saying Orlando a lot too yeah I I thought poo I believed in poo but you know it they put it all together but you got to you got a lot of lottery Play players on your team like they got to start to learn how to play together you the one that got me you the one that got me all like into Pao too cuz I used to just see him at first didn’t know how good he was and I started playing with him on 2K because you kept bringing him up I was like how good is this [ __ ] P talking about him yeah he he’s nice huh what what’s his rating I think it’s R in 80 something right now got to be in the 80s for sure 8 say 87 yeah say 87 88 87 88 I want to ask well I’m going ask Pete I don’t know if did you see the Jabari Parker when he was got I saw that and crying I felt for him yeah I [ __ ] I felt for him you got to think he was a number two pick yeah in the draft you supposed to be all this hype in this talk and everything just fell down for you because of injuries and and speaking of that P I want to ask you is there anybody else that you know that had an NBA career that was a top pick top draft whatever and we didn’t get to see him like we we wanted to see him more who else had a career almost like Jabari that you that we don’t know about first of all shout out Jabari Parker in that moment man I thought that was a beautiful moment of just him releasing his emotions of the roller coaster that he’s been through um and I love that they caught that and he was being authentic in that moment um but I would say and he wasn’t a high pick he wasn’t someone that was supposed to be great um but my time in Oklahoma City there was a kid named Deontay Burton Burton you probably don’t know who he is but was a like I used to ask like why we don’t play him like I swear like I used to be like give him like cuz he played some games when guys went down like they’ll plug him in and garbage time or they’ll plug him in and spurt moments but I used to see him in practice and I would see him like you know his G League games or D-League I don’t know what it was at that time and he was just like he was he was like yeah uh Zion before Zion wow like he had that physique little less like more muscular though had that physique physique jump out the gym strong as an ox um and and would lock your ass up like no like no I believe if you YouTube him Deontay Burton You’ be like God damn de where you go to college do you know Iowa State and he was a guy that I was like man like that’s just how the NBA is like you don’t get a chance like you kind of asked out you know what I mean like it’s hard to to get into this game if you don’t get a chance to get into this game like people just don’t they won’t see how good you are yeah and so this is again no knock to Oklahoma City Thunder um I’m not I’m not I’m not saying that but I just thought he was a huge talent in someone that should have saw the floor and giving an opportunity what is he doing now he’s still playing I think he’s playing overseas I actually talked to him a little bit through Instagram not too long ago um but he’s playing overseas um and and it was when I when I when I saw this segment like initially I was like damn that’s somebody that like I really wish had an opportunity yeah how old is he now he’s probably like he may still be under 30 he may be like 28 he’s 30 30 right at 30 you use the word opportunity and when we were just speaking about bronnie James that’s what I tell he’s going to get an opportunity yeah but if you’re not bronny James son how do you get an opportunity in the NBA like what can guys do that like get them an opportunity I think I think some of it might be controllable but like what advice would you give someone trying to Great navigate in there and make themsel an opportunity great question because another person that falls in that line is you guys know him on my team Xavier Moon yeah I think Xavier moon like his problem is just he’s he’s smaller but like Xavier Moon should play in the NBA somebody should have oner but again that opportunity is just tough to come by and he’s done everything from showing up being a good teammate being a great locker room guy playing well showcasing what he can do at the g-league level um I think he’s done everything to have the opportunity um but it’s just sometimes the dice or the the cards fall a different way uh but I think what you can do is is just show up and be professional you know what I mean like if it comes down to like if everything checks the box as far as who you are as a player but the little things of like oh he had a bad attitude or he you know he leaves a mess in his locker or he shows up late to work out or he misses treatment like if like I I get it if guys don’t get an opportunity because they can’t follow or be a professional but if you check in the like give give him an opportunity like see see like see what he can do like give him a chance and I think he’s another guy that falls under that under that guideline cuz x i I’ve I’ve been a fan of X like I I like X I found I bought him summer league yeah balling and when you watch him play like when they throw him in Mak [ __ ] happen he hitting midies like he getting rebounds he had a jump ball against uh he got bounce ban and won the tip he was really like short quick just Hye like he was out of there but I loved it I loved it so P when we had satu on the show you were amazed that Kobe signed your signature sneaker which is hilarious and and even though you were joking about how much do you want for it I think you probably I think you should still give her an offer I think I don’t think she going to do it though a blank check she ain’t going to do it how much do you think it would take cuz I think there is a number well it depends on she probably how much would you be willing to pay for them that’s a good question and and and if you if and what do you think she would take she going to wait till P get his new deal first would you pay $100,000 for those shoes and then she going to calculate that is tough that is tough because I have like I have stuff that but you don’t got your shoe sign I don’t I don’t I have his shoe size and it’s probably like her size I don’t know what size Sho she wear your PG shoe that’s big and you know nobody even do that n that that is that is fre meal that is n hell no 100k I think she’s taking 100K 100K we can we can sit down okay she said 150 see now it’s just like all if he do 150 like all he probably do 175 so so you do so you to if we sit down and like we having this conversation that like you know I really want these like so at what point I’mma just be like n you know what you can have them you know what I mean like she’s like I’m like 100 and she’s like 150 [ __ ] all right 150 cool nah maybe 170 like damn all right 175 like yeah that too they broken this deal we we we the deal help my boy out when you watch this episode we you know he need the shoe come on come on maybe maybe maybe he signed both one pair one like you know you don’t need the there’s no that there’s noide both in the words of Grant Williams hell okay but the your signature sneaker it just kind of got me thinking but what would you say is your most memorable moment about your series of of your signature shoe and is there any story uh that sticks out to you when when that opportunity arose yeah I think just the the whole like beginning of me getting a sneaker deal like I don’t know if I told the story but of just me getting that sneaker deal like just the origin of it you know from you know being one of the Nikes young guys wearing the hyper I don’t know what they were hyper revs or something like that to me breaking my leg and thinking that like I’m never going to get a shoe like I don’t even think I’ll play basketball again and then they still come back with the contract of your signature shoe before I play the game after being hurt or after breaking my leg they come with the offer of we still want to give you a a signature shoe um and then developing that spending the time on that two years in the making of making my own shoe and then that shoe comes out and we release it in London like the debut was we played a a game when I was in India we had a game in London and that was when I debuted him in that game and the whole buildup and the leadup behind that and I remember people in London I think it was like a Foot Locker or something and they were going crazy over like these are hot like these are these are these are dope like these like they were loving it and then it was the partnership of 2K and um and it just you know set the foundation of of where my Sho line was and then at when I start coming back in the US and now I got the pees and um like it was it was so many people hitting me up asking for a pair like so many people hitting me up like I remember you used make me take them to John Wall yeah Mony can you go to the house get delivering shoes for me delivering shoes like J want some show be like what all right I go over there they upstairs in the room make a left make a right give him to him I remember that yeah that’s but it was man uh one of the the cousins too I think cousins was was it him I know John it was guys that wore my size so John I used to give John a ton of my shoes but it was it was like it was a ton of dudes like whether we playing them like or they’ll hit up you know the Nike my Nike rep or they’ll hit Aaron it was just so many people I that’s Buzz so I threw him some you know but I think for me it was just like it was just like people that didn’t like necessarily go out and say like oh I [ __ ] with your game that was their way of like showing the appreciation of like man send me some shoes like can I I need some sneakers like they they went through every Avenue of getting these sneakers um so that I think that was like the most memorable moment of it all because it was I didn’t know what my shoe line was going to be I didn’t know how it was going to start or what direction it was going to go it was a hot success from day one and and and people just rocked with him who who was a person when you got your shoes that you felt great when you gave them a pair like I’m like I got my shoe line I can’t wait to get this person that shoe so they’ be like I finally did it who was that one person you uh Drew was actually one of the first people I remember that that wore my sneaker in the league Drew was like the first I remember I was watching and and I was like wait hold on M I paused the teeth like hold on me he had my shoes on he we your [ __ ] before you not before me not before me you know what I think he did cuz I think I was hurt no I I debuted him first in London but he like but the the colorway that he was wearing I don’t think I wore yet cuz I was like HT or something and he had them on and I was like oh wait he got my shoes on and then I start seeing the college dudes wearing it I seen Jason Tatum in them and then I seen you know all the Duke colorways with it and I was just like wow this like they really rocking with these straps man what they were they were good basketball I like that strap he was locked in I was locked in those was some motivation shoe right there right left left right and know the dude who left you though that’s who we got to find who the dude who made your first two that the man who designed them with the cushion cuz your feet [ __ ] up now yeah them [ __ ] dead you know your feet was dead people anyways Nike this is from me not from P I’m just speaking for me and him please bring his shoes back I mean I I I got every pair from one through six is it one six right P it’s six come on y’all the kids love him he deserve it y’all see what he did he played 70 games this season that’s a lot he need that he need them Nikes back and I need all of them cuz I need he ain’t never signed not one pair of mine you know what I’m saying and when y’all release the new ones I’mma have him sign that here so please Nike do that for me so as we get deeper into summer you know we got the summer league starting up which I believe that we’ll be at again for the second year in a row which I’m looking forward to for podcast P but p a lot of fans are curious about your future and what you’re looking for in the next chapter of your career and you got a lot to think about a lot to to weigh out I’m sure um but at this stage in your career what are you personally hoping to accomplish or looking for in the near future I mean for sure contributing to winning basketball um but I mean at this point I’m not even necessarily like it’s not even about like you know people saying chasing a championship like it’s not that but it’s playing the right style of basketball is what I’m chasing well that’s a WAP on podcast p uh P out s this out p s this out ladies and gentlemen that is a wrap on the episode of podcast P appreciate y’all tuning in come on tell them to where they find us at find us on uh YouTube find us on Apple find us on Spotify you dig indubitably yeah we see y’all next time [Music]

  1. You have literally always needed to play offense and defense. Basketball consists of both.

  2. Dallas your Luka take shows how salty u are he beat PG and is a bad look on you. I never need to comment on vids but your take was so stupid and petty u needa bounce back from your take because you are beginning to not look " Valid". I'm sure there is only less than 1% that agree with u bout jrue/luka. Damaging this podcasts ratings and u just the 3rd guy is crazy

  3. Learn from that moment SAS knows who you are and knows what he’s doing he’s the best in the biz but you are pg better at this shit then we thought

  4. That Jerry West episode was one where i wished it never ended. Jerry West literally being on a podcast was huge.. we need more legends on podcast. So unexpected. He looked so healthy for his age.

  5. Hey Paul 👋 you should take a one year deal with the Nuggets and win a ring. But I guess it’s just about the money for some guys

  6. PG in MAVS would have a good chance of winning a championship with Luka and Kyrie bcoz they need a 2way player like him,
so please PAUL GEORGE JOIN THE MAVS

  8. The clippers should play kawhi in like 40 games before the playoffs, NOT MORE! No one care if kawhi is playing every game in the regular season as long as he is playing in the playoffs

  9. Lol, who is this idiot in the Dodgers hat? Dude would take Drue over Luka? All your credibility, if even had any, is gone. Sad, almost added this to my subscribe list but I’m not gonna waste my time.
