so today whilst out on a course looking for one of my golf balls I found this and I’ve done a bit of research and apparently is a discontinued stricken golf ball I’ve never heard of it before and I’m really interested to see if you have have you played with it have you heard of it and I’m going to cut it open and find out what’s inside and compare it to stricken ad333 and see what it looks like inside this is the marathan soft golf ball it’s discontinued by strixton and apparently it’s a distance golf ball which is a low spin distance golf ball 328 dimpl apparently got 98 compression and uh an iron of a cover so apparently it’s two two piece so we’re going to have a look inside in the moment but let someone’s marked this up obviously uh helping out with their putting and Alignment when you find balls in the bushes I don’t think it’s ever a good sign but there was loads of STS but yeah I’ve never heard of this one before but marathan soft it is discontinued by stricken on sale in discount sports stores in the UK but let’s get Jeff and let’s cut it open and see what’s inside this stricken marathan [Music] soft so let’s see what we’ve got inside so yeah definitely a two-piece golf ball as you can see has that like peppermint style core and a quite a thick outer layer and let’s compare it to the stricken 8333 so you can see yeah much thinner outer layer on the stricken 8333 versus the marathan soft so have you played this ball and uh what did you think let me know in the comments below and I’ll catch you in the next one
