from the Republic of Korea what awesome s great s great [Applause] start this on a great line this looks like the Lexi of old she’ll have a putt at the ninth to take the lead Mission Hills a tight golf course in its own right Lex’s got the lead outright 32 on the front there’s a few holes here where the trees actually overhang the green with that left ho location today on 11 it’s why this par five is playing over par when you’re crisscrossing the globe as an LPGA player making that one ideal position just playing up the left Center of this Fairway and that just went flying past her competitor started off pretty far left falling to the right PX is going to have that to regain the outright lead this is half of her approach shots today have been inside of 14 feet she is leading the field and strokes gained approach did get there yes another birdie for Lexi Thompson and she is on top day one that’s a Hol looks like up the right center as long as it remains short of the bunker yeah it takes a nice soft bounce ball will be a little bit above her feet but as I said the right Miss is more favorable than the left one not choking up on it just a fraction to make up for the ball above her feet needs to land it about 20 short of the flag just gets it over that bunker and now looking another birdie this for the her sixth birdie of the day that is the field high so far ties Nelly and mu so far today with six birdies andx still got some holes left to go needs to stay that’s G to funnel back down didn’t carry it up to that top shelf oh she had the line page just needed a little more speed small Ridge to where the hole is she didn’t get it up to the top with that spin on the wedge going to fall back down to the bottom tier yeah definitely gave it a little bit extra having seen yukus come up it’s brilliant so good from a player who has been so good for so long
