a video of Pakistan cricketer Harris R has gone viral on social media in which he can be seen having an angry exchange with a fan who claims to be from Pakistan in the video Harris is seen walking with his wife and upon hearing something from the fan he angrily goes to confront the fan and even almost attacks him harz had to be restricted by both his wife as well as others who were around to witness the scene in the end there was no no violence involved but Harris was clearly agitated and it seemed as if the fan did not back down from the argument either which led to others having to intervene and ensure that the situation was deescalate it is the latest incident in a long line of hostile reactions that have been witnessed and recorded for social media before the tournament barabar aam had an angry exchange with fans at Cardiff and even asked security to move them away as they were for getting impatient for selfies another fan openly trolled allrounder shahab Khan asking why it is that he gets hit for so many sixes and then there was also ugly scenes with Azam Khan and fans with the forers stopping to stare down at a fan who was hurling obscenities his way Pakistan fans are understandably frustrated after their team had yet another world cup to forget losing to both India and USA in the group stage defeats that consign them to a first round exit and while the disappointment at the team’s failure to make it to the superads is understandable such fan Behavior does raise questions over what constitutes acceptable public Behavior both from the fans as well as the players the Hardis rough incident once again highlights just how let’s say sensitive it can be to be meeting your Idols whether it be from a fan perspective or in the case from the perspective of a sportsman how it is that you should or should not behave when you are interacting with a fan now there’s no justification whatsoever for any kind of abuse that may come the way of an athlete and if that was indeed the case then that fan deserves to be held accountable in every single way shape or form but there’s also a public way of reacting that maybe perhaps a haris should have stepped back and looked to move on rather than give social media even more f it does seem to be a problem as we’ve highlighted in this video with a lot of Pakistani players but perhaps it also shows just how deep or how toxic the levels of fan interactions have gotten that they are more often than not on edge and more than willing to lash out rather than look at taking things for a calmer perspective it’s something we’ve seen a lot on their media whether it be National mainstream Media or even social media on YouTube and places like Instagram and Twitter wherein fans are more than ready to spew Venom towards players if their performances are not meeting expectations and while it’s understandable that sometimes times emotions will get the better of you it’s also worth remembering that the players who you are calling names are also humans and that their emotions too may very well get in the way sometimes that’s not justifying how a harest rough behaved but there’s also no justification for that fan going after him in public when he’s with his wife and calling him potentially certain names but what do you think of this entire situation you can let us know that in the comments below and don’t forget to like this video share it with your friends subscribe to the channel tap the Bell IC on follow us also on social media we’re on Instagram Xs and Facebook don’t forget to download the sports th app and if you’re already on the channel go ahead check out some other videos we’ve done as well for now though from my side it is goodbye
