Let’s uh go down to the spot uh and bring in Johnson Wagner Johnson Rich uh what a day what a championship um man the USGA Pinehurst Resort I just thought it was a 10 out of 10 setup Jeff Hall and his team did an amazing job and the course really shined as they wanted and Bryson shined um just have to say I’ve been standing out here for a while Bryson came out after his press conference took pictures with everybody signed everything really incredible and coming on the set just I think he’s really matured these last 8 n months um tell you who hasn’t matured is me uh I’m out here 55 something yards I got a 50° this sand is so perfect here um so we’re going to see if we can’t pull this off it’s pretty dark out here but I got the Jumbotron lighting me up and man that Clubhouse is looking at me Randall eating dinner watching oh sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit sit hey I I it’s probably over the back of the graen but I went for it oh how about this take this okay I’ll take it there you go okay so I just saw you pretty did you blade it over I was worried about hitting the window uh I think Steve did it go did it land over the green yeah let’s let’s try one more I want to see you hit one come on you got this all right so uh it’s a 50° perfect that’s perfect I know so it was yeah yeah little this is where I hit it right here yep oh no better lie than that there you go perf yep well okay what goes through your mind when you’re get a 50 yard bunker shot uh just to really be aggressive and I got to be aggressive and and dude by the way so happy for you uh uh what goes through my mind my what good did you think about hitting the clubhouse did that thought into your mind at once at all uh it did on the second shot if I hit it too hard and it ran up the left hand side I think I could have rolled it through but not here I was actually I played a huge explosion chunk and run so if anything I was going to leave it short okay well that’s probably smart think I got a question about that second shot with your single length iron yeah you I had I found a window I was going to hit it I found the window that I could get a little flatter it was upright and everything so I didn’t have that chance okay that’s what that’s what I thought I didn’t have the luxury with that but you know what sometimes it helps there’s been some shots out of the native area where I was more vertical and I was able to get around the boat so there tons help too how it feel to hold that thing for a second time I love it I heard there’s sand in there is there anything else going in there literally yes there will be we’ll clean it out and hold the sand but that sand is from this bunker shot and I will forever have that sand in my house that’s awesome all right on right here for the US Open up and down to win the US Open oh I chunk it that’s perfect oh please go in get up there you just had to that me around did I get it Steve can I hold it got it come on thank you thank you thank you player B is always better than player a I guess I’m I guess I’m never going to win the US Open now since I touched it anyway I’m so impressed by everything you did I’m so impressed by everything you did on the green I was standing out here watching you came over and graciously shook my hand I really enjoyed Tuesday walking with you and as a person that liked you but just didn’t know what was going on I’m so happy and I I talked to a bunch of caddies coming from Liv uh landed in Charlotte where I landed Monday and all these live caddies I said I think I’m going to do a walk and talk with Bryson and they said dude you wouldn’t believe he is like the greatest dude now so it’s good to see it happening man appr that thanks my man appreciate it brother great shot Again by the way was you did better than me you deserve this oh I got two chances that’s true I do I get to go have a cold one with you absolutely let’s go let’s do it honey I’m staying in Pinehurst tonight I got news for you Johnson hadn’t been drinking a whole lot of chocolate milk lately I think I think wag is happier than than Bryson here’s the replay wait a long time to say this I told you it wasn’t a difficult shot even Wagner can pull it off oh come on Johnson God do that that’s the first chippy SE hit that I’ve seen get in the air oh boy that’s and with the US Open Champion right behind him on TV look at Bryson look at him he just won the US Open and he’s acting like this is the coolest shot he’s ever seen so happy it was maybe more unexpected he’s so happy Bry is not just the US Open Champion he’s the content King as well crying out loud he gave everything
