Lilia Vu for a birdie at the first yes first one of the day first Birdie on the first hole she you ly yes nice Eugene can do what you said she needs to do well the the trouble is too I mean if you go too much to the right there’s a it’s going to kick to the right and go down into that penalty [Music] area that was tight y That’s not the line that you are telling players to play this is uh song after that wonderful t-shot at five Karen that that was not the game plan on this hole well I think what the players ought to get me to do is to do all of these going with five iron yeah that’s that’s a lot of club and this is an aggressive line again trying to take on that flag oh it’s soft cogin at the second did she yeah Lauren gets it back to even par third for a birdie another one goes in smooth greens early absolutely beautiful at the second Charlie Hull I don’t know how long it’s going to stay around but there was a brief moment where we saw Charlie Shadow by the time she pulled the quarterback it was gone and so the ball disappeared as well look out for Charlie Hall up ahead at the first green Yamashita a moment ago for birdie and watch out for the best player from the jlpga last year L A Vu the reigning Player of the Year back last week beat Lexi in that playoff in her first event since March had struggled with a back injury but what a way to come back last week this is from 88 yards it’s a good looking strike heading towards that back stop getting better a chance you see the flag tucked over on the right side today at this part three safe players to go at the tower there but a lot of players have gone straight at the flag including cjo getting it to stop what a shot birdie put at the third and Al if you remember made a nice charge on Sunday at the US Women’s Open at lanca Country Club trying to make a charge on Saturday here at a major that was really well done Lexi Thompson at the second up to the fourth Ali Ying with her second location front left here on [Applause] four over at the par 56 big hitting Bianca pgan for birdie she has good memories here won a Collegiate tournament here at sahali Lauren harlet the 26-year old from Kentucky in her third season on the LPGA Tour a big finish Morgan yesterday birdied five of her last seven holes and picks up one here she’s got a pretty Square Club face here not opening it up wonderful shot right [Applause] there looks good yeah really good and hay on U moves within one one of the lead with backto back birdies check this one up as close as you can get give it a chance to go in Caroline English who’s a resident of the state of Washington lives in Vancouver Washington just made a birdie on the previous go and another one goes in so that’s backto back birdie she gets to two on par for the championship only four behind it’s nice to have this kind of Club into these tricky greens it’s the third pitching wedge she’s hit today she’s had a lot of good shots Morgan she’s played very solid golf at it surrounded five out of a fried egg Li that is tremendous oh my goodness can’t control anything coming out of a fried lit fried egg a bit of a guessing game there but what a shot yeah important one bit of a miscue off the tea it looked like a [Applause] par five6 meline saom for birdie and with mine’s length you expect her to take advantage of this PA five that’s been shortened today back into red figure 17 and shibuno for the birdie this was a moment ago pretty straight putt overall straight in the hole yeah shibuno trying to fight her way back been a tough start tester here back up hill yeah good two in the end [Applause] left what a solid stroke only about three feet and had to play that a half a cup outside the hole on the left yeah well she’s avoided the double bogey done it all day today to square up her shoulders yeah Santa knocked it in a three tied at the top here at the 10th Charlie Hall the chance to get to two under just four shots back y masita trying to salvage a par at the eighth she is incredible really she among the many stats she leads on the jlpga Amy has been the queen of getting it up and down this week this is straightforward low chip and run shot lot of green to work with I mean what a par this is going to be after that t- shot this was a moment to go talked about the te being moved up and it’s possible yes that’s a big move by englas and it gets her to three underpar tied for sixth Charlie Hall has a birdie putt get it to three under and that drops Charlie very comfortable on treelined courses she grew up playing at a place called Wen which is just North of London wait way on her front foot with this UPS slope is it enough yes Charlie with a third great berie and she is two off the lead and what a story this is Lilia Vu the reigning Player of the Year who was out from end of March until last week came back and won the Meer LPGA classic in Michigan in no that’ll do she manufactured something there that was really good 15 Lilia Vu for birdie she’s starting to feel it as well so Lilia gets it to three under and another name in contention here we and we’ll move down to her left yeah nice response G so many holes without dropping a shot drops one at eight and then bounc is right back with the birdie at nine to win a big one this week 11 Yash is third nice touch there that’ll be a birdie she’ll get to four underpar and she will join Hull and harage we can just see the top of Charlie Hall Karen at 14 you can she’s got 126 front 152 to the hole she was on a little UPS slope and she’s caught this really nicely what Play She dueled Lil a Vu there south of London Walton Heath Lilia has that to save her par through the screen the grass is not that intense she has an uphill chip and that surprisingly got away from her AO shibuno in this final group long one for birdie at 10 no you can say that again probably close to 20 Paces Left Right Movement then it’ll flatten out wellow how about that for control of speed concludes tomorrow harage on the tea at the 13th harage having a really good week getting even better what a [Applause] shot cuz you have so many of them on these major courses another save it is the main reason that she is on top by one on day three harage 15th hole Charlie Hall second did a really Mammoth Drive Tom had one turn left oh aggressive line Karen Charlie Hall will have a putt to get to five under par Lil Vu for a bird at 17 long range effort just so impressive what she did last week say Yamashita for a birdie at 13 good try stay at four on the par couple back course I think she’s got a good chance Kate this is really tough let’s see if she do it in he’s going to put the brakes on now oh pretty good really nice effort there that’ll be to get to Seven on the par left her second shot in the bunker back left of the Fairway but gets away with a five this is such a thick lie I mean bull so far deep in this rough it could be hard to figure this one out but that was quite delicately played considering that lie she loves those tough shots Karen doesn’t she Charlie Hall at 16 for par this would be a seriously good save was never in position at all on this hole now you saw Caroline Eng playing with the English woman this is the 14th and Japan’s Yamashita this could be a lifechanging week yeah well done Lilia V finished up with the round of 68 and she is is Caroline English in the bunker a little downhill lie not easy played it very well indeed very well indeed that is going to be a three for English she’s going to head to the power five second shot for Lauren hartage at 16 has her coach Grant weade out here with her they were grinding on the Range ahead of this rounds certainly the work they’ve done on her golf swing is starting to pay off less than 50 starts on the LPGA Tour she’s never been in this position made bogey sounded like really good contact aggressive line wow that was she played that ah she took advantage of a good break got still got a chance here tomorrow especially she can hold this one yeah with some speed and alli’s made a nice run here late in the round that’s three difficult whole location to get close to on the approach he tracking as well first time she even looked a little bit nervous on the Range warming up now knowing that this is a big big moment she’s got 135 to the hole this is a smooth 7on back into the wind a little bit that just s off that finish trying to control it under the wind car beautifully done to speed up the hole is entirely open in front of them uh there is a good swing there sure was I mean she is not surprising near the top and it’ll help him wind this is quite High just can’t go long here it’s not going to go long it’s going to be good for distance she may be more aggressive and try to cut it into this flag needs to get up how about that yeah that’s one way to do it and Amy Yang for birdie pretty steeply downhill look like it bobbled a little at the start it’s trying to get there but it yeah it still held its line nicely this is a tough par 4 I mean it it makes makes you have to hit every shot really well to make a birdie here tomorrow is going to be the biggest day of Lauren’s career and the way that she has played the last day and a half has been very impressive if she could continue that for one more day who knows what’s in store for her tomorrow only danger here is long as she’s set up to hit a little bit of a fade here did she overdo it it’s an aggressive line to go a little bit yeah it’s going to be good well this is important stretch Lexi just trying and get closer to Amy Yang to be needs to make clean contact oh what a shot nicely done right to left breaking putt from the lower level up to the top oh look at this and KN over the corner of that bunker her last two par fives put herself out of position off the tea but this is a beauty oh that is way out there right at that TV tow a good Target it’s an aggressive line and will it run up the slope not quite going to have enough energy and inertia to get all the way up there but to beautiful golf swings from pretty lengthy putt as well not a lot of movement on this screen pretty flat by the hole oh she read it well did she read it well and Amy straight back to seven on strength of her game so far this [Music] week trying to get something to fall a little right to that whole location tucked on the right side calls for a draw set up well left oh she just went along the edge of the tree line did she avoid them all yeah it’s going to be just perfect now okay she cut that so [Music] close oh what an effort definitely could tell she has wonderful rhythm in that stroke on the way back there’s a tendency on a we’ve seen her get a little bit short with some of those longer pots but this week her stroke has really looked the best it’s ever seen the ball a little bit better okay former number one in the world like Lexi a closing to take the high route I’d be I’d be bumping this low but I’m old school just trying to get something old over that bridge and she does it to [Applause] Perfection well it’s going to be a 74
