Community rallies for Boys & Girls Club at Eagle Falls golf fundraiser
speaking of showing support golfers of all skill levels gathered at Eagle Falls for a charity golf tournament all in support of the local Boys and Girls Club the event saw an impressive turnout with participants eager to contribute to a worthy cause while enjoying a day on the greens dozens of four-person teams showed up to play a round of golf and support the Boys and Girls Club to include one very special team from krtv Heath hagum ran Gamboa James Roland and myself all played in the tournament on behalf of krtv while the organizers acknowledge that things were off to a bit of a rough start due to our recent rainy weather the game day provide proved to be full of sunshine and happy golfers raising money for a good cause and her volunteers and boys and girls club let give her a round of applause guys she deserves it um it was kind of it was a rough couple weeks leading up but you know what we pulled it off um so I just want to extend that thanks to her and her team funds raised from the tournament will go directly to supporting the boys and girls club’s various programs which provide valuable resources and opportunities for young people and our community from educational support to recreational activities the Boys and Girls Club plays a crucial role in helping our youth thrive
