she put in a good spot there but it just flattens out for sure pae Yuka had such a playful moment yesterday when we were on the set of live from she was pretending to hit miang Lee the first or 10th of the day veteran from Korea with a couple of LPGA titles to her credit lost her card a couple of years ago regained it and has found some good form she’s one over yeah nicely done coming up a couple of Drop shots back to even four of the championship I mean just a fabulous drive to leave 134 whole location perched at the top of a little teer this looks great what a fabulous Drive that was right there too in the mayor’s office knows it’s quite uphill the first half then levels out oh it’s got to drop doesn’t it no how does that not go in oh boy give it a second looks like the shadow is almost over the flag not quite 16 tavatanakit this is a quick slider still just 24 years old and this for the her sixth birdie of the day that is the field high so far ties n and mu so far today with six birdies and still got some holes left to go most of the players will be landing into that face and not getting much rooll bit left here that has been her Miss today there is an opportunity to chase something up there up the left side if she is in tree trouble we’ll have to see when she gets up there this right down the middle six well with the last major enano shibuno contended she was a runner-up to her country woman yucas saso and here she is at 18 and this is from 94 she’s been playing quite well today not too dissimilar to W in this golf course in terms of the the tree so that of course is where she won her this from 82 yards put itself in a good spot we just saw the short birdie putt for hanako shibuno to post 70 this time last year she was battling an injury she went to a a baseball grip she grew up a softball player good look at birdie here yeah well done yeah all in all three under really solid opening round I mean the field average it keeps going up is over 75 now bogey free clean card yeah long par putt after a difficult bunker shot had it all the way how about that five at the 12th Mina harrii for birdie just a bit of a quick putt here down the hill okay uh Alice tell us uh about what’s happening here this is in play obviously yeah she obviously didn’t like uh where her relief was going to take her just because you’re entitled to free relief you might not want to use it and I think she probably had a pretty good lie uh had no problem lofting it over the fence and uh elected to play from within the Tio heading up the right side on a good line oh gets a good kick it’s a good angle being up the right on the left side of this Fairway over the left side of the screen I should say not quite as in play with the right hole location today she doesn’t look happy with this though it’s fine absolutely fine an interesting way she looked away from that as if she was disgusted but small Ridge to where the hole is she didn’t get it up to the top with that spin on the wedge going to fall back down to the bottom tier difficult to judge the speed when the ridge is so far away it’s almost easier when the ridge is in the middle of the putt versus the very tail end it seems to magnify any misjudge of distance yeah definitely gave it a little bit extra having seen yukus come up including at Lancaster a few weeks ago this for birdie so she answers four straight Bogies with a two putt birdie it’s brilliant so good from a player who has been so good for so long
