Copper Creek may be one of the most beautiful courses I’ve played yet, and being so close to downtown Toronto it is absolutely a MUST PLAY public golf course in the Ontario region.

what is up perfectly Lage golfers welcome back to the channel and welcome to Toronto and the Copper Creek Golf Club really excited about this golf course I’ve been wanting to play it for a while and I will tell you when we got out there it is absolutely beautiful so you’re going to want to stick around to watch every single hole which I think all of them are very unique and in their own way very very gorgeous interesting note about this video though for those that are returning we’re filming it in a little bit of a different video format because my clubs got lost coming out of Charlotte so I’m using rental clubs tailor made Qi 10s but I also have no tripod as that’s usually packed in my golf bag so it’ll be a handheld recording which will give you a little bit of a different look than normal on top of that don’t make fun of my shoes my golf shoes are also in my golf bag so let’s get at it 7,000 y from Copper Creek let’s have a great time all right hole number one starts us off with a par five just gently around the lake bunkers on the right hand side need to be avoided but it’s still driver so let see how we’re swinging this Q 10 [Music] [Music] today yeah old [Music] toball yeah oh yeah that’s that’s pretty good yeah oh I hit the tree is going to get up oh it’s getting up it’s getting up yeah get the ball to the edge yeah it’s a snapper that’s what I notic hole number two ended up being one of the most narrow holes on the golf course 461 yards but you have to thread the needle up and over the first set of bunkers and in between the second set set just a little bit deeper so good drive required here to capitalize on this long hole a little low right down Broadway though yeah love that [Music] thanks turn baby just left it out there down the hell that’s fine it’s probably not a bad spot to leave it so oh my bad I thought you were straight n that’s not good I got to drink this water first and then we can start [Music] drinking okay well that doesn’t move an inch okay hole number three puts us right back into another par five this one 510 yards you do have to cover water though after the first ball if you do find yourself in the Fairway so layup would be an option if we don’t catch a good one here there you go good [Music] Shon get all over it it looks pretty good looks like it’s going to be right in the middle of it yeah baby oh it sneaks yeah no backtack Eagles on the channel for us and now we’re going to get our first taste of the elevation out here at Copper Creek 447 yard with a really cool elevated T box looking down to this Fairway remember when you said none of us are going to miss right it’s going to be a long walk it’s going to be a long no go stratch go turn in ah nice putt we start to sneak back into the woods here in a very tricky format for this next par 4407 little dog leg to the left but the green is actually pretty covered out by some bunkers and some elevation need a good t- shot [Music] here been drawing the ball all day yeah nope uh yeah stick them that was yeah here we go that should be pretty good oh wow was a decent read and speed just yeah the rough out here was crazy when we played they had just open the course a couple of days before we played this round so I don’t think they had cut it yet plus they had gotten a lot of rain first look at a part three very short one just a sand wedge in hand here that was the badest divid I’ve ever Tak in my life that’s got to go huh oh my wow I’m playing Great Golf right now wow what a shot there are a lot of ways to make a three that’s one of them another cool elevated T box looking down to a big open Fairway so driveways back out here for this 417 slight dog leg left par 4 she’s a be that one oh just a touch short [Music] oh yeah oh just at the end golly we’ve scared the hole a couple [Music] times nice good thanks pretty unfortunate circumstances with a great chip hitting the pin and then rolling out that far but we’re playing well with these rental CL 151 part 3 over water nine iron here just to get us going here for whole eight hold on stop turning stop turning stop turning get [Music] down lot of ways to make a three Ben [Music] oh baby turn oh it’s damn it just snapped like crazy soon have slowed down and the finishing hole in the front nine I’m not going to lie I think this hole should be 18 they should flip the nines because this hole is a super awesome closer to a round really cool look up to an elevated green right behind the backdrop of the clubhouse [Music] nice thanks be all over it oh it’s short Dam unlucky what a club TL all of [Music] us okay C that doesn’t move at all thank you y the other reason I think they should flip the nines is because this would be a sick opening hole here ho 10 elevated t- boox awesome look to the lake on the left just need to find the Fairway with driver Car golf yeah car path golf that worked out that worked out yeah it’s pretty good from there just snuck into the back rough huh the [Music] hill the wind also push out yeah a little bit Yeah the wind definitely picked up a lot throughout this round especially when we’re out kind of away from the trees hole number 11 par three 205 yards we’ve got five iron for this trusting that we can get this thing into the middle of the [Music] green full heavy get up there you’re short that’s pry [Music] sh hey lots of ways to make threes on these par 3es today as we got back into another Par Four just over the top of this right bunker with driver should put us in a really good spot nope we’ll find [Music] it oh no [Music] blade and it’s really downhill it’s so downhill wow [Music] wow got to get it there Allan just a really good display of golf on this hole yeah not good when you miss the fairways when the rough is this long out here far five 550 Lake again kind of covers the approach shot in to try to get on on two so it’s a really high risk maybe even low reward shot definitely opportunities for layups trying to get there in three if we don’t hit a good drive giant ocean boom great shot thank you nice shot looks like a good [Applause] layout go got to go little okay nice shot high enough now thanks you take taping [Music] pars all right part three here in the back 176 playing a little shorter than that mid pin position we’ve got seven iron obviously the only miss here is you just don’t want to be right [Music] get over it okay nice nice shot [Music] nice don’t think I get the hide up from the hill how does that not move even a little bit to the [Music] left definitely starting to get a little frustrated cuz the score is starting to get a lot L of hand but for our first round here with rental clubs we’re still playing pretty solid this is a really tough little dog leg to the right Bunker’s guarding on the right hand side and then the Fairway kind of falls off on the left so you definitely need to find something right up the [Music] middle sit on that line get down [Music] okay uh just came out right yeah might up help put though come down the Allen see my line and just cannot commit to get the ball high enough oh man shoot yeah the greens are also a little tricky out here they definitely break more than what you’re actually reading par 4 451 a little bit of a longer one but everything does kind of kick down to the middle of the Fairway so anything up the gut will work out pretty [Music] nice that it’s a nice draw I didn’t see it sound did you okay get in the [Music] hole there we go okay okay we can finish off with 130 we’ll be close to our goal yeah that goal I was talking about I was trying to get this thing closer to low 80s rather than 85 so with rental clubs we’re actually still again playing pretty well to that goal long par 4 463 just just need to stay short of the lake here on the first hopefully it’s not too far right Benny that was hit very [Music] well oh keep drawing keep turning CCH a piece of it it’s a little long little long yeah [Music] oh yes [Music] great and hole 18 565 coming into the clubhouse overwat for the first t- shot then a little bend over to the right definitely requires two good shots if you want to try to score here let’s finish it off nice here boys and girls see if we can break [Applause] [Applause] 85 nice out nope not one you hit it fat [Music] do it all right there purple average golfers not the strongest of rounds but consider that we were playing on rental clubs and we’re playing inside of some rough that was actually deep and thick hopefully the course and the video came out well uh because this was an absolute beautiful course really every single hole had a lot of great personality in it a lot of cool backdrops lots of cool looks so hopefully you guys enjoyed it if you’re in the Toronto area you got to come out and play cop Creek you just got to do it I’d put it right up there with TPC I’d put it right up there ospry Valley um and Eagles Nest stuff like that so give him a
