is this the best driver of 2024 stay tuned to the end cuz I’m going to show you just how amazing this club is oh yes I am very very very very excited about what’s in here I can’t even tell you how excited I am and how optimistic I am because I think this maybe blindly and stupidly I believe this could be the answer to all my prayers golfing wise that is let’s get this thing it’s like Christmas should maybe save this my birthday but I’m just surprised I managed to get one cuz I tried to get one of these the last two years so yeah I’ve joined the copper Club apparently that’s what Taylor M say it is so you might recognize it if you’re around my age or a bit older you might have had one of these Originals back in the day this club draws inspiration from that iconic Club the burner from the late 90s and you can see that with the lovely head cover that’s right I’ve got a tailor made burner copper which is the version for 2024 it is exactly the same as last year Tech spec wise but they’ve just added a nice bit of kind of bronze to the top to that Leading Edge they’ve changed the head cover but that’s about it oh and it’s also got this epic grip which is almost like identical to the old grip that it used to have there’s a reason that Taylor Made sell out these every single year I know they’re limited Supply but they’ll be gone within the next week or so by the time this video is out they probably will be gone entirely so I’m super excited to try this out especially with this we just look at some of the technology here the the quo design that’s going to help like a three-w glide through the turf and get that consistency of stripe off the deck but also off the tea we’ve got the titanium face we’ve got the good old tailor made twist face that’s going to help them all the multitude of off center strikes that I’m going to find on here and we’ve got the good old speed pocket sa in there that’s going to help again for the forgiveness and the consistency and we’ve got all the adjustability we want like I said I’ve got 11 and a half degrees here we can open it up we can switch the shaft out we can flip the weights around which I’m definitely going to want to do I’m really excited and I’m really excited to see how it goes off the Fairway so and see if it is really the best club of 2024 but let’s just start with a few shots out in the course and I’ve actually hit my t-shot up here with an iron and I’ve got about 250 two probably about 265 into wind on this par five so I’m going to start off by showing you just how amazing this club is it’s great off the tea and it’s great off the Fairway as well I’ve got it 11 and a half degree one I’ve got this one slightly higher Loft I’ve tweaked it and I’ve put the weight in the front so stay with me to the end of this video because you’re going to want to buy one of these after I hit this shot by the end of the video you’re going to be trying to steal them which I don’t condone don’t steal don’t rate the law anyway let’s see if I can knock this over there somewhere somewhere on the green oh man it’s so good that’s just left of the green but look at that absolutely middled it it’s so good this club you won’t believe it right so uh yeah that was just left and actually bit longer the green so that thing has just gone yeah like 265 270 into wind absolute monster um we just skipped ahead a little bit a few people behind us don’t hold them up and we’re going to go on this long path [Music] four and that is exactly what I was after yeah it’s in fact gone past the pond that’s bounced about level with the pond so it’s bounced about 250 little bit of Fade with the wind and that is beautiful cuz I’ve now only got about 100 yards left in for my next one just what we wanted okay so let’s do one more two shot this one is quite a generous Fairway so I’m going to give this a smack but it’s out of band’s left there’s another Fairway right and there’s some thicker off in the middle so I’m going to give this one going let open it up so to speak and yeah give it a give it a hit that’s not bad little bit right but just right edge of the Fairway so that’s perfect there’s no trouble down there and that is in play should we just hit a driver just to kind of prove the point of this my driver has become better as of late thanks to my coach yes Greg but I do not trust it at all so yeah this could go anywhere oh okay let’s see y That’s do that’s just slightly left actually was pretty good shot maybe I don’t need a mini driver anymore that was actually ended up leaking off it’s probably the same sort of line but I tell you what it’s a lot easier hit the mini driver okay so here we go we’ve got up this is the mini driver I’ve got about we got about 100 yards left in so that’s gone a good well into those woods there I know that it’s 280 I think off the T 285 I think 285 in there so I’ve gone about 265 and I’m just on the right edge of the Fairway and if you have a look just down there where are we yeah we can see the the driver is very close to the woods there very close so there we go really it’s it’s brilliant off the tea it’s so easy to hit yes you can get driver further you can get driver a lot further especially for hitting it well but that’s the point of the mini driver is even if you’re swinging badly it still launches nicely and it still doesn’t put you in as much trouble as a driver would and often because it’s a bit shorter all the trouble like the woods over there you don’t reach them so it’s a really good positional club and it still goes a long way [Music] oh so nice nice little fade yeah again oh so nice so what we can see there still very good distance pretty tight accuracy I’ve got I had 70% I just uh pushed that last one a little bit so it’s going 61% but it’s it’s all of them on The Fairway we’re getting an average of 264 carrying 28 roll out that’s have a look at it real quick so this mini driver focus a minute is really really doing the business there now it’s focused that’s decent so let’s see how it Compares against the driver I’m still getting long distance fast dis ball speeds let’s now see is it the thing to replace a driver Okay so I’ve got my Paradigm 1° up right that’s 9° let’s see what I can do with [Music] this bad hit I pull that that’s not a bad one drops out sky that’s nice that one 293 carry oh a 335 that actually striking driving quite well today 170 ball speed what 309 carry 347 you drive there okay one more oh there we go there’s a horrendous one that’s so far right wow and that’s why it’s dangerous okay oh so yeah that’s hit driver right there but if I show you in a minute 10% consistency front to back was all over the place and left to right just it kills me four of those were Fairway one of them definitely wasn’t so take a look at this yeah look because of that really short one the averag is there in terms of carry and roll out and not that far off the mini mini driver and you can see the dispersion it’s horrendous look at the two in comparison so I think that’s it in a nutshell actually hit driver quite well there but there’s just one that one at the end this one whoa that’s that’s gone the rest are okay but I think that’s it initially that’s all we need to know mini driver not quite as long much more accurate next up really need to get inside the simulator and really look at the numbers
