Closer Look: Mizuno ST-MAX Driver and Fairway Woods

good day guys Brad Clifton here for Australian Golf Digest the new year is upon us and that means it’s time to upgrade your golf equipment I’ve got a guy here who can help you do just that Campbell Smith from Muno run us through the new St Max driver and Fairways thanks Brad so the new St Max is an addition to our st30 line and it really focuses on increasing launch and maximizing The Twist resistance for your straight drives um that’s basically done with we’ve got an expanded cortech chamber um that just helps with the ball speed and then we’ve got additional weighting on the back and that helps keep it straight um the fairway wood same sort of thing this one has an expanded expanded composite crown and that reaches over the toe so they can distribute the waiting to help get the ball in the air and then the hybrid also again has the expanded CCH chamber but it’s got a lower and deeper center of gravity to help get the ball up in the air now like any new golf club it’s only as good as how well it’s been fitted to your Campbell how important is that for the new misso ah it’s Paramount even though these have all the tech to help you hit your straight drives you’ve got to make sure you get fitted for the right shaft to suit your game and what’s been one of the big um increases in technology with drivers there’s so so much technology out there and it’s all about distance and accuracy and sort of stopping you you know spraying the golf ball what’s been the big change fundamental change in this model so for us it’s just about where the weight’s distributed um for example this does feature a new it’s called a beta titanium face which is lighter faster and stronger than our previous models but the main thing as well is you getting that twist resistance so that even if you don’t hit it in the center of the club face the club face itself isn’t going to twist and your driv is are going to stay straighter lighter faster and stronger you heard it first make sure you check out the new S2 max range from missero
