I assume it is very fair to say that if Bryson was not able to recover from his bad tee shots he would have been the choke but with a high score. Correct?

Pars were premium scores. Three puts, not so much. Bryson only had 3 for the tournament.

Wow, I missed the US open – first time in 25 years. I was such a hard core fan, but the last few years have turned me off completely.

Rory's short putt was hit left but jumped right; it looked like it hit some grass bump. He got robbed of the playoff there. He should have groomed the path, in retrospect.
