going up the fifth Fairway J is putting from above the hole here to Fourth this is for two birdies and has opening four holes Brandon has played four shots so he is staring at a bogey put from below the hole starting to get some Breeze here now Club Georgia Lakeside whoa es the third hole in a row that John Daniel would had a par H just made a lengthy par putt back there at the third after missing the green short Breeze today I think is generally supposed to come out of the South West when I checked the current conditions earlier before they teed off the breeze was actually coming out of the do South so might switch around very important car putt vipp here for cobu hopefully he was paying attention to the break when he watch that birdie put go by [Applause] he’s done it [Applause] right second shot for John Daniel at five on the right side of the Fairway up approach shot holes on 27 and seven from the left green arrows further back you go good shot all three will have birdie putts in this group bird putt for Cobra has moved minus two two tough holes coming up Par 3 six and the par four seven Poes yes sir two under par after five good start for the young man all right John Daniel Cobra here excuse me the sixth not the fifth just Birdie the 5ifth T box is mov up 200 yd part three can’t play as long as Triple Two And the pin of the day is 20 on and S from the left obviously you cannot miss left this should be safe and dry don’t take any risks too early we only taking the top three today all right jdc two birdies in a row here and this third of the morning 18 should I would think break back to the left roll yeah birdies are kind of rare on this hole gladly take par and run to number seven like so so he stays to under after six 30 holes left so Mr C on two after six holes it looks like JD is found the left Fairway bunker which is 245 to reach and 258 to carry flag today 18 on four from the right you do not want to miss it in that green side bunker that’s the short side of Miss today just left of the hole I think that’s found the green nice course management so far displayed by John Daniel Cobra for his third birdie in the first seven holes I think Brandon just made birdie all three guys sound the Green in regulation Brandon and John Daniel both missed the Fairway to the left only Chris found the [Applause] Fairway oh wow almost kept the pattern of one two one2 going but that’s going to be for his first two put on an odd numbered hole so far this morning and that would have been a rare Birdie on this hole two birdie holes coming up the short par 48th and then the par 59 stays at two under could have been three under M that probably could have been four under cuz he missed a chance for biry at the second hole earlier as well [Applause] JD Cobra here 342 48 BR to driver j’s got some kind of metal wood bun on the right excuse me bunker on the left out of bounds down the right for [Applause] John Daniel is just missed the freway to the right Brandon looks like he’s driving it on the green and the hole today is 10 on and six from the right JD’s coming out the right Ro he got to go over these two bunkers they probably but somewhere between the hole in the left Edge but the slope of the green trying to take the ball back towards the hole you don’t want to miss right that should work its way back towards the hole you’ll have that putt to move it to three under for the first time [Applause] today birie puck JD get minus three with a par five as a matter matter of fact two par fives in the next three holes coming up 9 and 11 the longest par four on the course sandwiches in between them that really broke left on John Daniel there second shortest Par Four on the golf course behind the second and he hasn’t lost his turn so par put for jdc shot 68 in Northeast Florida to get here into the US Open finals Jared Garcia played in that same qualifier but he shot even power Jared did missed out John Daniel keeps his score card clean he’ll be looking for a birdie perhaps Eagle before he makes the turn onto the more Scenic Back Nine GD on the 5 40 y power 59th faway one faway bunker on each side trees on both sides driving r on the left side dra right to the right the first part five that should be in the short grass and you have it they still unfortunately out of position okay well unfortunately it looks like Cobra has missed another Fairway I thought he might have found it probably a layup for him back right pin position today the same exact one from the final round of last year’s mid Amer Championship it’s a pawn short right and a bunker short right as well big two-tier green here Take Me Out to the left not bad third shot for jdc into the ninth both of these nines close with a par five and today on 26 and 12 from the right come up short most likely wind up on that lower here whoa stay there looks like it’s on the proper level there’s the clubhouse in the background 36 holes here two courses Creek Side and Lakeside playing Lakeside today JD have that put for birdie to make the turn in three under 33 birdie Puck here for John Daniel culber at the nth to make the turn in three under 33 oh he’s made a birdie every four holes so far already the first and the fifth see if we can keep this pattern going here at the ninth not this time so we’ll have that par putt to go out morning 18 ideally you probably want to find a left side of the faw with this layup today the hole today is cut front right four Paces from The Edge and the Miss Right could bring the lake into play B birdie I would think this Puck will move from his left to right just to get the four under nice very nearly got it to four under tough 14th coming up and eventually got to deal with 17 so John Daniel Cobra will stay at three under jdc on the par 4 14 432 Ys downhill back towards Lake wward 302 to the bunker on the left 317 to cover it John Daniel has not missed a fairway so far on his second nine he only hit three on the front nine John Daniel has bombed his drive here at 14 probably about 320 yards or so whole location 30 on and six from the left side but you could play it left of the green and let the slope bring it back towards the hole but it stays up there it’s going to be a quick little Chip Shot or putt from on top I lost side of go wall this is not particularly easy hole to make Birdie on I guess they determined that Mr Cobra is away this is his birdie attempt here at 14 to get the four under and now it’s on the top side and that should break from his right to left coming back towards the front right portion of this green Brandon and Christopher both missed it On The Fringe on two different sides of The Fringe only JD found AG Green in regulation he’s about due for another birdie he hasn’t had one since the 10th hole part P for John Daniel and a Rose official has summon Brandon over I’m guessing they’re still behind but how far behind is the question John Daniel will stay at 3 under and he stays blemish free four holes to go in the morning 18 and then you got an afternoon 18 it’s supposed to Contin off to 122 c to the 410 y power 415 to the left Windward shouldn’t come into play unless you Happ to really push it to the right here look as strong as it’s been so far and then the golf ball is below his feet as well so he’s got to aim this up to the left probably 10’s on 24 and six from the left actually it’s Brandon’s turn with this pin you would want to be below the hole CU that green slopes some back to front see does he like it no reaction birdie try here for cpra here at 15 still trying to get it to minus four another one of those putts left he’s made every par putt he’s looked at so far have to do it again [Music] two tough holes coming up 16 the last of the par fours and then last of the three is the 17th today is just four from The Edge all right JD for part of 15 Oly SN Jans is now in a five-way tie for the lead at five under and IR checked and he still hasn’t missed a par putt today incredible and Hudson Swafford I don’t know what’s going on with his score still has yet to be updated DC on the T of the 419 y 4 16 is uphill 263 to the on the left 278 to fly over that should be fine little draw there L is in the middle of the green today it’s 16 it’s only two off the co leaders five we tie at five under TI e right now John Daniel is at another huge drive here at 16 look at these clouds look that de breeze is blowing from left to right maybe a little down FL today smack dab in the middle of the green there 23 on and eight from each side the green is 46 Paces deep so it’s exactly in the center of the green I want to keep it below the hole slips some back to front again that could be close that could be close pretty putt here for JD cpra here at 16 get the 4 par all right fourth birdie at the morning for John Daniel and now he heads off to the tough Par 3 17th hole that puts JD one shot back now John Daniel cob on the ti to 200 yd Park through 17 T’s moved up camplate as long as 226 speaking up the hole is 22 on and4 from the left today left there a watery grave got to keep it out to the right green actually slopes towards the hole right of this whole location oh no we did not just do [Applause] that four under par just birded 16 that’s his first real mistake of the morning yikes he’s taking his drop that was his second now he’s about to play his third shot and he’ll have to hold his out to save car we saw Luke PEB chip in for birdie in the second round of the mid am last year unfortunately for Luke he will W he wound up shooting 83 that day to missed the cut by 10 shots he has made that link put today that’ll be for his first bogey big put here for John Daniel is to lose only one shot this for bogey first time I upset that today for him hopefully the last ouch tell me par putt today he’s holded it that wasn’t for par that was for Bogey and he’s missed it and now it could be two shots lost to par which would cut his score in half from four under to two under and you’ll have to equal to last just get it back to four under for the morning 18 then they got play round two in about an hour’s time all right Cobra this for double bogey okay so that cuts his score in half and four under to two under but the next hole and final hole for the morning 18 is a par five five he birdied the first part five but as part of the last two part fives the eagle will get them back to 4 under all right C now to to 564 yard par 518 final hole of the morning 293 to reach the bunker on the left 306 to fly over it downhill t- shot a SL slight dog leg to the right driver range to the right back right P today and that was that last hole that was only the third green he missed and that’s cost him a double boogey he got some time to turn it around looks like John Daniel was missed the Fairway here at 18 way up gol ball below his feet again the pins back right today on 18 this par five wow what happened to John Daniel’s second shot here 18 it stayed up out of that pond and he got really really lucky so I’m guessing this is his third shot into this par five pen is on the top [Applause] tier don’t want to go long oh wow it gets it up on the proper tier but that’s above the hole got C for birdie in a round of 369 all right I didn’t see John Daniel take a drop on that last shot so I’m assume this is for birdie here at 18 in the morning around the 369 right speed not quite the right line that’s a par and a 200 par 70 for John Daniel cob this morning and they have 37 minutes before they start their final round off number 10 round that took seven minutes shy of five hours to complete four under par standing on the 17th t
