I was meant to be unmuted um hiding behind a uh stream starting video that looks a little bit like this apparently I wasn’t um so fun little bit of Le United news Brendan Aronson formerly of Le United now currently of lead United um is a being retained into next season which I thought was very interesting I thought he would have likely been loaned out or sold but apparently in conversations with Daniel farker it has been discovered that uh he’s going to be he’s going to be playing for leads next season which took me a bit by surprise considering the uh version of leads I’m putting together in football manager had him purely because I couldn’t find him alone maybe that’s what’s happening right now I haven’t had time to put any banners together for this because I was recording a video like two minutes ago and now apparently Brendon arenson is staying at Le United so I’m just going to very quickly put one together now because it’s SC Smith reporting on this which makes me think that there is very very probably something reliable that we should be paying attention to because BR gra Smith is amongst that set of Le Le United journalists that tend to know what they’re talking about a little bit because in the loop always know what they’re on about yeah right so let’s share the screen quickly uh let’s make it the entire screen and let’s make it that screen shall we Bosch so we’ll ignore the fact that the York Evening Post website is a hell hole um because it sort of is um um and yeah the basic ins and outs are leag united are set to make Brendon arenson part of Daniel farker Championship squad for the 2425 promotion bid now this is the very Basics this is the underlining fact that arenson is set to stay Elite which surprised me a little bit because come on behave you weren’t quite that good but here he is staying oh my god get him so yeah a weight belt would definitely help him um especially considering the relative heavyweight nature of this league isn’t good enough for the Premier League not big enough for the championship I will get to that shortly um uh last season he was the first to exercise his loone clause which honestly fair enough I would much rather he do that than stay if he doesn’t want to stay lead’s under control of Rani vix Ro etc etc etc these contracts existed for plenty of uh clubs struggled to contribute end product in a difficult first campaign in English football following a move let’s get to the relevant bit here we go right the packet is titled yep just makes me strangely mad why it’s the Yorkshire Evening Post that’s what it’s called um having spent the season away from Ellen Road arenson engaged in talks with Leeds and farker the club sources say went positively leading to a decision to bring him back into the fault this is the important bit for me considering one sec considering he’s had those conversations because Daniel farker had similar conversations if you remember back last season with Willie nto because there was a conversation that definitely needed to happen it was a situation of okay so we don’t necessarily want to lose nto because nto is clearly quite good but at the same time he’s been a bit of a prick so we’ll have to have a conversation it feels like that’s what’s happened here what’s happened feels like it is farker going up to him and saying right okay you left people big not fan of that not good um but at the same time the thought that’s running through my head is he didn’t leave under Daniel farer so he’s never had an opportunity to have that conversation with Daniel farer to say this is what your position should be because he’s not a number 10 let’s be honest but at the same time we are really really really poor in the wing positions going to have a quick look at a stats board thing here uh that basically shows the players that we will have available throughout next season and I’ll be honest it’s not looking fantastic bford at nine Joseph at nine Peru sort of in between I’ll put him here because he’s not a nine or a 10 rout can be a Winger I guess rout can be a 10 rout can be a nine let’s put him about there then we’ve got Dan James who is a Winger and we’ve got Brendan arenson who is the question mark Brendan arenson is the one where we don’t know where he’ll play I think he wasn’t good enough in the 10 and I think he will be better in the wide areas and I’ll be honest we’ve got one Winger that we will be certain will be in those wide areas so from a rational point of view I see it I see the signing of Brendan Aronson and the retention of Brendan Aronson as something that works because at the same time that means that we don’t have to do quite as much signing and on this note the what about wages route sorry I’m just continuing to do little bits of uh research um on the what about wages route this is another big question in my opinion I think he’ll have the W auction because that was the gist it was either you go out on loan and someone else pays your wages or or you stay at Elite with 45 50% off your wage and that’s what I think will happen that massive wage deduction will end up hitting Brendan Aronson because that’s in his contract it sort of has to and yeah it’s all it’s very complicated and there’s a lot of things to take into account such as the fact that he was the first person to leave on loan last season and whilst that isn’t necessarily a good thing for him for the fans linked with him because of this you need to consider the fact that fans did take nonto back nonto who arguably did worse because nonto caused absolute havoc on his way out nonto who went on strike and refused to play a game of football for leads dropping us points ultimately meaning that he wasn’t able to get us promoted because I’m feeling like if we get points in that Birmingham match in other matches that he’s been forced to stay out of maybe we go up but fans stuck nto back because nonto won the pitch was really good and the question is is he going to be good enough to earn that sort of redemption at Le United going forwards I’m not sure on this note I B time disagree because he was one of our better defensive fullbacks last season based purely on the numbers whilst aggressively going forwards he was good he was a good Wing back that doesn’t mean he’ll be a good Winger but as a general rule of thumb in this uh streamy videoy thing I would have done it as a video but I recorded a video like two minutes before I saw the news so it was like brilliant I guess I’m doing this now um I want to know what you think this is the benefit of a live stream it means that I’m able to respond to you outside of a comment section and have like an actual conversation about what’s going to happen with all this so what are the thoughts on Brendan Aron State because whilst a bit of me is a big big not lier of the whole shebang I don’t know at the same time I feel like there’s space for Redemption there because people last season thought Georgie wasn’t very good and he stayed and he proved that he can be quite good and nonto was reviled by the crowd for a long while but he sort of proved himself which is good which is fantastic who knows nto has a better player than Aronson to Wing back the fans Aronson’s complete sh he was yeah he was in the Premier League didn’t do too well in the Bundesliga also a fair point but my thought on that is during that Jesse Marsh season did anyone look good because it was all the central ball crap that stays up the middle and no one does anything creative and no one plays good football because we’re just playing up the middle it’s penis ball and he didn’t look good but at the same time this is down a level so it should theoretically be easier this is with an actual coach which is helpful in a system that could work especially if he’s playing in those wider roles I don’t know also I’m going to go to my little uh live control room thing and I’m going to run a very quick poll just to see what you guys are thinking so start P what’ you take Aronson back yes or no simple question simple answers uh needs to take the gym and the protein shakes he does absolutely yeah physically wasn’t very good in the uh Premier League season but at the same time What immediately came to mind when I was thinking back is physically nonto has been a bit awful like on a physical point of view he’ll lose a 50/50 and he’ll just like complain at the referee for a bit and yeah that’s not good but I think it’s something that you can coach out of a player and I think we’re forgetting that he’s a very very young guy which yeah no player looked any good under Marsh might be worth a punt in the championship bit like R I think this is where r on yeah because arenson in his first season we didn’t know what he was is he a 10 is he a Winger not got the foggiest I think he’s more of a Winger than a 10 in my opinion I don’t know um because he played under Jesse Marsh and Jesse Marsh’s system Wingers effectively were tens and it was stupid but something that’s immediately come to mind just now is the amount of energy that he could bring to the front end of the side so for example the thing that I looked back to a moment ago was against Chelsea the goal he scored when he pressed Edward Mendy yes you’re not going to get those every week a lot of goalkeepers are not going to make that stupid mistake but he had the energy to push high and hard and fast and cause the mistake if that makes sense and that’s something that I think we were missing in the Press last season especially when we had Joel Piru on the pitch because he wasn’t as fast and energetic and willing to cause problems for a defense which was a shame because when he brought that energy in the playoff semi-final against Norwich we won 4-0 because we pressed like we gave a also what’s this doing anyway um what this he stupid um and it’s it’s complicated I think if we take Aron back then what happens with the other lone rats I think that’s a very big question so going through them let me know if I’ve missed someone uh rocker I believe has agreed to move back to Bettis already ente is pushing for a permanent move to Roma wouldn’t come back either way Christensen I don’t think we’ll agree to anything at the moment anyway because it’s the euros and he’s with Denmark so that could be a little bit of a while before that gets worked out but I don’t see Rasmus Christenson coming back at all uh Harrison won’t be staying because he’s made active public statements against the club which is a nightmare um who have I forgotten have I forgotten any anyone Adams signed permanently Sinister signed permanently vber I forgot about vuber vber I don’t see coming back but so I’ve not seen any rumors surrounding him which is weird I’ve done ente ente is in the process of pushing for a permanent move at Roma I don’t know whether that’ll get done or not but I’m not sure but on what happens with the other Lan RS the majority I think stay away unless farker can like actually has previously had conversations with them so um vuber if I remember right was promised the captaincy or something nuts like that and actively trained under Daniel farker for a bit and left anyway so he’s had those conversations with Daniel farker and I feel like farer will look at him and go yeah just out please forever uh honestly I think he can do a job if we get a true number 10 and push R and er into the wings I think that could M what I like the idea of is having Dan James as one of of the starting Wingers because we know Dan James can do a great job now we know Dan James is fluid and flexible and moves around the pitch really well and has that energy in the same way that Brendan arenson does in that he can just press the life out of somebody so that makes the rout and Aronson into the wings thing a little bit of an issue but at the same time if rer and arenson can both do wing and 10 you can sort of do a switch wingsy thing but with the 10 and the Winger which means that you’re very flexible I don’t know when need to trust farer he obviously sees a player that’s useful I do think that somewhere deep within Brendan Aronson there is a football player I don’t think he’s completely useless because if he was completely useless then I feel like un and Bim would have sent him back in the winter but the question is is he useful enough and judging by Parker’s conversations with him having happened before this I feel like maybe he’s useful enough I don’t know this is one of those where it’s quite hard to like put together ideas this has been my general rule of thumb that farker sees more us from the players he’s actively having these conversations I don’t know uh eeve take is get rid of the lone RS full stop no baxis now you see this is where we stumble across uh the way that I am currently looking at things which is before this I would have probably said I don’t really want him but if he not the biggest fan but I’m I’m now in the position where my head is saying I mean it’s happening anyway so what can we do I would say yeah out gone whatever um but a if he’s staying he’s staying B and this is something that everyone that is in my football manager streams will know um it’s not easy to find a move for Brendan arenson um and I imagine that that is something that applies to the real world when he’s had an absolute stinker last season so it could also be a case of yeah we can’t find any interest in you right now I think there might be a player in there it’s worth the go it’s worth the try who knows but there is also this part um footballer trapped in the body of a stick intact in the mind of a US MNT fan which is to be fair a small mind oh piss I’ve just realized this means the return of us MNT Twitter great um imagine left back having to deal with Dan James all game then Aron comes on as so both are speed Merchants it could work yeah we I mean we saw what happened when um Dan James was coming off the bench especially in that playoff final where he was our most dangerous player and he was on for what 20 minutes having two quick players that can run it all old Champions League bastards could be good I think maybe I don’t know uh I think he’s to weak for the championship Fu won’t use him he’ll be on the bench dealing a wedge that is a take I guess I understand where you’re coming from but at the same time I don’t know what does transfer Mark as his value as right now oh it’s not fun we bought him when his market value was 30 million euros and now he’s worth 12 thanks Victor um but this is another case we need to work with fix R’s decisions I think don’t know you did get me live and you did you message me what’s the all um you did yeah you did to be fair um we pay 25 million yeah I think that’s part of why I’m not hating it as much as I could be because if we sell him now we take a chunky loss on the ffp which is not fun and I think due we end up playing Charlie crew out of position because Square pegs round Halls has gone really well for us before now or yeah I don’t think Charlie crew is competing for that spot in the team is the issue it’s like when people are saying why are we keeping Shackleton and potentially moving Creswell on different conversation neither is Aron yes he is aranson played in his time at leag United between a number 10 and the wings he he isn’t a basic Central midfielder and when he plays on the wing he’s out on the left and the left wing is where we don’t have anyone assuming we sell somville which is looking like it’s definitely going to be the case let’s have a very quick look at various stats and numbers and things from Big Bren where do you play at salsburg it’s not telling me fantastic thank you very much transfer marked you are the least useful stats aggregator for someone that is looking for information uh do you think Red Bull has had a say I genuinely don’t to be honest with you this is absolutely going to be one of those cases of Red Bull hasn’t been in the conversation because if it’s a case of Daniel farus had a conversation with arenson if he thinks that arenson doesn’t give enough of a doesn’t want to be here all that stuff which to be fair could be it um yeah fun fact as well I’ve just seen this Brendan arenson has never been bought for less than his market value on transfer Mark very interesting uh yeah I don’t think Red Bull will have had to say he’s not in the Red Bull stable players anymore either neither is his brother so there isn’t a Red Bull link anymore with arenson I think the scenario as arenson has a chance to redeem himself if he does then with the US World Cup around the corner he could have a massive spike in value that helps too having links with the us but that’s more from a branding point of view and I’ll be honest I’m in a case where I don’t give that much of a about The Branding perspective uh maybe Greenwood but then again I’m going to have to look for news around some Greenwood yeah okay so having had a look at a article on Sam Greenwood that I’m going to very quickly do a screeny Sher of middlesbor have decided against signing Sam Greenwood you might think okay fine maybe we were asking for too much money maybe we were asking for an obscene transfer fee or something like that Greenwood spent the season at Burrow on loan from lead United inserted into that deal was a 1.5 million pound purchase option if Bor don’t think Greenwood is worth one and a half million pound then is that really is Greenwood the person that you want to be starting in that instance if he’s not worth one and a half million quid is is that going to be your option on the wing slash the 10 or is it worth giving the other guy a shot I don’t know because apparently he didn’t impress a b either which is tough uh eeve says the only issue with arenson is physicality is lack of go his mentality and also bringing USM than faded yeah I think the fitness issue is another bigie because no one that season was fit at all because Marsh was like be Elsa made them run and they came out injured I’ll make them not run and we came out bad so I feel like farer is a nice little middle ground there I I don’t I don’t know if I agree on that one I think it was the entire cluster of the football club that led to us getting relegated I think I yeah I mean he was part of getting us relegated I don’t think he was solely responsible I think that that’s a that’s a little harsh I think it was a mix of injuries and poor coaching and just inconsistency because one of the problems was the players that we signed to play Under Marsh then weren’t playing under Marsh but Marsh was bad anyway so we had a poor foundation and we then had three coaches in like what two months so no one could learn anything tactical no one could put any sort of plan or structure into place which meant that things fell apart like that because how are things going to not fall apart because no one knows what they’re doing because we’ve had first off and man hold on I’m going to I’m going to do the Jesse Marsh wall PowerPoint slide because years of being around us I’d agree but then again he was only here for one he didn’t have basically the first season was under Marsh and his entire idea of uh tactical and fitness stuff was we got injured to much last time and we did a lot of training then so let’s train less which obviously led to us being the second season he was in Germany so I can see why he didn’t bulk up but yeah if if farker has him actually training good which hopefully he will I feel a little bit okay like a bit of strength training probably a lot of stamina stuff because I don’t know if he’ll have that much because he was off the bench a lot with un and Bin but that’s okay um makes you want to claw your face off understandable um but I I get the point of being a bit Blas and dejected my only concern is we currently only have one Winger that we’re certain will be here next season and that would be Dan James and like maybe you put r on the other flank but then we need a 10 like I I would hope that arenson is starting on the bench and building his way in but also Richard you do this like every stream and it is always confusing uh when the friendly start for leads that is a very good question I don’t actually know the answer to but that will be our first attempt to get a proper look at Aon um just say legion matches no will pop up um the first one I can see is harut town on the 19th of July we’ve also got Valencia on the third of August I think a week before the season starts piss oh that Valencia friendlies when I’m doing me me big long walk that’s when I’m doing the Charity Walk oh oh needs the right coach to sort of drag out like genuinely I think he could have been good under belela but because he had the right sort of movement the right sort of passing range but if it it’s not to work out it’s not to work out is it I think preseasonal thrs a lot yeah basically preseason we’ll know who the preferred players are we’ll know what the sort of shape will be the structure will be it’s it’s made me a lot more interested for copper America because now we actually have something to watching copper America that isn’t just how well does blsa do which is fun I think I guess I suppose that’ be nice uh I didn’t do anything un and Bin either in the same physicality being mentioned some of all nonto are physical for such like plays that’s true but at the same time nonto did get lots and lots of complaints for going down easy which makes things a little bit complicated with positivity in stats to back it up as well the stats is coming out I’m not talking about Eevee I’m talking about the general like mindset of stats um Aron could be farus cwell that is a why did I say can’t well like that that feels about right I’ll be honest with you because Todd canwell was such a big part of Norwich City going up because he was able to just bring a little something different bring energy bring movement bring General creation and also distraction to the other back line which is Al always something important like this is very like person experien he so isn’t the most applicable but whenever I’m playing like a seven as side game I know that I’m like the least talented person in our front line so my entire point is drift about a bit and just pull markers around and it works so may may maybe I can be the Brendan Aronson who knows needs to be told not to fall over yeah pretty much I mean I don’t know how many free kicks he’s going to win but we’ll find out Aronson coming back is good in all aspects I feel any other the championship team would take him in a heartbeat I think they would but I think that psychological link is bad the the sort of there’s already a negative association with him for a lot of fans and I understand that like that’s completely getable because he was here and he was bad if you kind of want players that are good in your football club I do I do think there is potential for him to be good enough how long before the usmnt fans come back I don’t know will they come back because we’ve only got one of them and we’ve not got Marsh anymore and he’s in Canada now anyway maybe we’ll get the Canada fans maybe we sign like I don’t know who who’s good for Canada um Liam Miller we’ll sign Liam Miller and we’ll we’ll get the um Can MNT fans instead which is weird like they go by can M for some reason but whatever that’s not relevant right now um C well was light with too arenson just needs a confidence boost in the stop ripping him I I understand ripping him a new one because he did leave on very very very bad terms and I think he sort of needs to earn the respect of the fans because he didn’t in the slightest when he was here first time around he needs to actually do something to prove himself and I don’t know whether he will if we have R and arenson on the wings we could see Peru hopefully Joseph getting better service it was frustrating when nonto somville took the shot when the pass was clearly on yeah I think the good thing about this is James is more of a passer and he’s more direct Aronson is more of a passer I don’t know how direct he is but I don’t think he was one to try and take players on six or seven times if he can get through people that would be nice but big question mark for me as the phys aspect I believe he’s technically fine for this level yeah on a technical level I think he’s good enough it’s just the other levels and there’s a few of them can he stay good enough uh nobody good for Canada Jonathan David Alonso Davis and that’s two off the top of my head hopefully full preseason under real manager can bring the player out of him that’s the dream yeah also just back on this Canada Drew nil nil with France yesterday that surprised me like how has Marsh done that I’d like l laugh from Bor he’s a good player across the season he seemed sort of average but in that match he seemed decent enough uh also if you got any uh question any bits any more comments to get in let me know because I’m that’s a Redemption um meler lots of people don’t like him center backs we don’t really have the ones that need R yeah we do Cooper um who goes with him I don’t know but there’s a Redemption Arc 11
