previously with the mcut concession you’ll have a free bet in your account to use if you haven’t used it already wonderful stuff Sweet Spot 25 your new code there terms and conditions of course apply and AK mentioned The Sweet Spot live we had to watch Along on Sunday evening which was uh 4H hour marathon but it was brilliant stuff thrilling from start to end and of course we took in the England game or we tried to anyway we had Mark Langdon on with his uh bet got football betting insight as well and probably talk about the euros and we had a pro on as well D whitel joined us so if you did miss that and you’ve got to spare four hours uh jump in and have yourself a butcher with that and be doing that again for the open as well right let’s get into the US Open then it was one of course James B Bryson deshambo who I suppose coming into the event he wouldn’t be the the player that you were kind of earmarking as being suited to that track no not really I mean he has over the past sort of year or so he’s he’s sort of trimmed down hasn’t he he’s not so much about the bulkiness it’s not so much about trying to hit it as far as he can he’s sort of got a bit better of course management with his style of play now but I didn’t fancy him there purely wasn’t about the long game it was about the short game it wasn’t quite sure about him really with that huge put that he has like rested in inside of his left arm I just don’t like his style of putting he can get a little bit sort of edgy at it when it comes to some nervous times like we saw on that final round but he got to give credit to him really because you know the up and down on the last was absolutely Sensational and having missed that little tier as well on the back nine he came right on the next hole and then just blasted onto the green didn’t he so you know he’s got the mental strength I think now two Su two us opens he’s gotten the bag yeah he’s definitely a danger and there were signs wasn’t there when you look at hindsight when you look at it because of the performances he had in the two majors prior to the US Open he performed well in those so yeah it’s maybe a little bit of a disappointing one to miss out on but again I don’t think my mind really would have changed on him ahead of the tournament I don’t think I ever would have backed him purely because I still had doubts about his short game about the mental scarring if there’ll be any for for maroy there James yeah I mean I I did kind of expect something to come out with maroy um taking some time away which he has now he’s taken a few a few weeks away he says he’s coming back for his Scottish open defense and then obviously going into the open but I still can’t quite believe I watched it back the highlights a few times and I can’t quite believe he gave it up three Bogies in the last four holes but it was just his head like some of the decisions he was making some of the a he was taking on one of the PA threes when listening to um listening to radar and he was saying well surely Mak is going to hit an an eight or a seven or something he’s like he’s got a six sign that’s a lot of Club I don’t know whether it was the cad just not giv enough info into him but even going onto the 18th hole as well when he whips out the driver and you think what on Earth are you doing youve used three-wood for the first three rounds here a long ey and why are you getting a driver out and and he put himself in a poor situation again gave himself one of those little little tiddlers to miss on the last hole it’s going to be very very tough I I thought if he got this US Open it could have opened it up now for Mary to go and win you know six seven eight nine Majors but this is such a hurdle now for him to get over and for him to come out on on X as well and say this is the hardest moment in my 17 years of professional you know that it’s going to take a lot of soul searching for him and got I have serious doubts about him now potentially ever winning another major strong strong he touched one to four in running with AK bets as well and and AK you mentioned he was the The Biggest Loser in the book we had you head in hands at one point and then I think you even flashed your boxers in celebration at some point as well so it was a right roller coaster it was definitely a roller coaster yeah it was really really enjoyable just from a pure drama perspective all the way all the way down the back nine um we probably haven’t had that really in previous Majors this year um so yeah from from from an entertainment point of view really really good um it’s yeah similar echoing what James said you you’d have to worry a little bit just how mentally draining that probably was and obviously the things going off um in the background off off the course as well um you’d imagine he’s probably not in the best place mentally at present and it’s going to take even even when he does come back in that Scottish open leading into the open it’s it’s you’re really going to have you it’s it’s really going to take a lot to to to be siding with him even in those events after that break I think it’s I think it’s uh it’s all uphill for him at the moment but um I’d be wishing him well as well like it’s uh I actually quite like him so um you’d hope you can turn it around from this like sticky moment basically sentiment aside there now going forward when we see him again now you are a firm that go after the top of the market anyway I’m assuming more of the same and if not a bit more with maoy now then yeah I think so like just our our general more from a pricing point of view is to try and be very very competitive on the players that people if you’re a casual golf fan that you actually know and if you’re a serious golf fan players that you probably want to back as well um so he will still be at the front of the market he’s not going to be he’s not going to do a DJ I don’t think anytime sooner be and be going off at three figure prices um but you’re still going to have to be very brave I think to be um to be signing with him in in the next few events he plays get him in the book get him in the book James other than what we’ve spoken already any other takeaways um I suppose just how hard it was the course I mean I I absolutely loved watching that i’ loved seeing the players struggle and have to think about their shots and you know they got punished if they hit bad shots they got rewarded if they hit good shots now that’s the kind of test I really really like to see so that was just good from my perspective but in terms of other other players other kind of takeaways going from it Tony feno again he was not a player I was really looking going into that tournament purely because of the putting because we know about feno he’s a streaky putter but he just doesn’t look comfortable when you watch him on the green sort of hunched over he’s a he’s a really tall player but you know just seems to be crouched over and doesn’t he seems a little bit edgy with the putting when he does a little bit stabby but he did superbly well and you know what a couple more birdies fell for him because he had a lot of chances on that last round he suddenly could have found himself you know tied for the lead or setting a bigger Clubhouse Target but certainly Fen now if if he can just continue get the consistency with the putter he won’t be far away from getting a major win it’s just whether he can get that confidence on the greens week and week out good stuff then right that is we’ll part the US Open and we’ve got three tournaments to tackle this week we’ll start with the uspga tour Travelers Championship now James we are at the TPC River Highlands which I don’t think is one of the longest courses uh on the tour um so immediately we’d reach perhaps to those with a bit of touch and F around the green and not the bombers what are your thoughts on the track yeah no I’d agree with that it is relatively short course compared to today’s standard 6,82 yards par 70 you got 12 par fours four par 3es and only two par fivs you mentioned that driveing shouldn’t really be too much of an issue there are a couple of holes that can catch you out if you wavered but generally this is a course that’s quite lant off the te the greens are small but they’re not difficult to hit and with them being small they will be quite receptive as well most likely they’re playing at around 12 on the stimp meter now I think last week at Le US Open they were playing up to 14s potentially just over so that highlights the difference in speed of the greens from last week to this week so hitting the greens giving yourself bir opportunities but hold holding puts you mentioned there it’s about the short game now the latter being absolutely crucial given the recent winning scores here because you’ve had 17 under or better in five of the last six editions have won this tournament Jim furck of course hit a 58 here in 2016 as well so you’ve had a a variety of winners you’ve had some bombers you’ve had some short hitters chz reevy a bit of a bunter he’s one here as well so there’s no real sort of um a certain type of player just one certain type of player that will win here um but yeah certainly for me I’ve looked at putting I’ve looked at hold holding hold holding the puts giving themselves opportunities that’s probably going to be key here for me okay no Rory here has withdrawn AK have you got a show for us who heads the market uh heading the market with Scotty Sheffer as probably predicted um 4 to one top price in the industry with a bets through actually 9-2 prior to Rory’s withdrawal so a couple of customers taking advantage of that and but 4 to one top price Scotty Sheffer you’re looking at then uh Xander chaeri 8 to1 Mara 12 abber 14 C 20 hland 22 mat 28 and then 30’s bar now quite interested I know you guys go up early in football you know it used to be I don’t know if it’s still the case but the early action in the week is usually some of the shrewdest on the football is it the same with the golf do you have people ready to go soon as the markets are up yeah I suppose just in general and betting markets in general for All Sports the further away from the off time of the event you probably have slightly softer pricing and pric is hopping around a small bit in the early hours of trading um so that was the case kind of with this event with The Travelers just with Ma Ro withdrawing around 1: p.m. UK time last night it kind of kashed the market a little bit um in in the early trading period so probably not as active as it could have been um but that was basically due to a withdrawal at the front of the market good stuff right James how many selections for this one got three selections and the lead selection is Sam Burns at 35 to1 now his focus is fully on the golf now of course sort of the first few months of the Season it was sort of ready for the first child to come there was the worry whether he was going to play tournaments or not where he was going to pull out but he’s had the first child now he and his partner so since the arrival he’s gone TI 13 tied 10th tied 15th and tied 9th now the last result was at the US Open where he finished with a round of 67 as well that was the joint best score on the final day it was also his best major result as well so it’s a big positive that he finished strongly for me he was never really in the mix as well either going into that final day so he could relax a bit he didn’t have the the mental strain that some of the plays you know in the leading groups had your maoy you can’t lay so he could relax over the last 18 holes didn’t have that same mental torture and Delvin deeper into Burns’s sort of showing as well last week he was third in Strokes game putting so that bod’s really well heading into this event where he has had mixed results you’d say 43rd 24th 13th and a missed cut so it’s up and down for him but there’s been some decent stuff in there for him at TPC River Highlands seems to be ticking along quite nicely and I don’t think a sixth PJ toour title is far away and you think of that sixth as well he’s not been around that long s Burns but already with five wins to his name it’s just a fact for me that he had that sort of the not the worry it was just waiting for the first child to arrive but since the arrival he’s been right on his game and definitely someone I think who is maybe getting sort of underlooked ever so LLY um I think it’s a really good price for me for someone who just seems to be clicking into gear top price with AK bets 35 to one right next best selection then James going Brian Harmon at 40 to one another good price now the Americans been going on really nicely over the last few weeks he was tied 21st at Pinehurst last week that was his best major finish of the Season it was his second top 25 as well in his last three starts so going along quite nicely without really properly challenging but he absolutely loves this course he’s gone second last year then he was eighth and fifth that was the last three starts he was also third in 2015 6th in 2018 and Ninth in 2019 he absolutely loves it here when it’s not about bombing it off the tea and it becomes a bit of a a putting test that’s where Harmon steps up we saw him last year at the open where he was absolutely superb he was holding everything and he’ll be eager to fine tune his game really ahead of his claric CH defense next month as well look at look at the putting stats a little bit more from this season he’s 24th in Strokes gam in that area and it’s also worth noting some of the results in the seven other Signature Events given this is the eighth and last signature event of the Season he’s had a t a tied Fifth and two tied 12ths uh in three of the seven Signature Events so he steps up for the big tournaments and yeah I think this win could really boost his confidence ahead of his open defense which I think he could put quite a good showing in for joint top price with AK B at 40 to one and James finally who else we going for um apologies for the pronunciation Christian Biden how but I know I know people call him different things as well but 90 to one now his course for mentioned Harmon’s brilliant his course on doesn’t make good reason he’s missed the cut on both of his visits so why am I tipping him up well I’m happy to forgive him for those two show and take him on it was a good good price he’s Sublime on the greens as the South African he’s 11th in Strokes game putting second in putting average and fourth in puts per round as well in a tournament that requires a hot flat stick those numbers make for superb reading for me he’s also showing a little bit of form at the moment as well he was tied 17th at the Charles Schwab he was fourth at the memorial and then he was tied 32nd at the US Open last week he’s also had top 20s at the players and the Wells Fargo so they big tournaments and you look at his approach play because obviously you know it’s all well and good that you hole and puts but you got got to be on the green making giving yourselves opportunities for birdies he’s 36 in SC exchain approach so it could all come together for him this week he’s someone where if he can get on a roll he’s someone that can you know put two three four birdies in a row along and he can really shoot up the leaderboard but yeah bid now at 90 to1 I think is a really good price nice juicy prices there how close was finel to being in the team this week James not close purely for the fact that he was one of those he was he was challenging towards the end of that round and it he did he did not mental torture for him but it would have taken a lot out of his game because it maybe sort of five from the end and he was seeing maybe marro drop a shot Dean Bo he’s thinking actually I might be in with a chance here and he was just starting to the pressure was maybe get into him a little wasn’t making all the puts so that for me is why I’ve not gone for him there’s no there’s no real big correlation between missing the cut at the US Open and then performing well here or performing well at the US Open and then having a good result here been very mixed I mean Keegan Bradley won it last year but he missed the cut of the US Open the start before so there’s no there’s no massive correlation whether they’ve had a good performance the US Open or whether they’ve missed the cut or not no love for the chef I could imagine you James almost shaking your head when you’re hearing Steve tipping him because I know that you’re running away from Shaw price favorites in the golf yeah I I don’t just because of how many how many players there are on the field uh and sort of all the stuff that comes into it how it could easily change and and we saw there with Sheffer um he just didn’t didn’t have it for some reason at the US Open and the one area of his game where it was always talked about why he wasn’t winning more was his was his putting um was the short game that was where he was maybe weakest at he’s got that going in this season but for me if if something starts to go it’s always going to be the putting it’s always going to be that aspect for Sheffer and yeah for some reason just didn’t didn’t take to the task but yeah I’m very happy to to leave him alone um at that price and I kind of want to see how he reacts to that US Open performance first that’s his worst performance of the season so just not quite sure where the head is with him at the moment I’m sure he’ll probably put in a decent performance now but I’m definitely happy to skirt away from him well if you have got love for the chef he’s top price scottty Chef L four to one favorite top price of the village with AK bets AK I might catch you on the Hop here but do you do you have a fancy or do you just kind of I’m just lay the bets and try and get a result yeah I think that’s kind of just from a pricing strategy for for the firm personally um that that tends to be the way we we do things I think the S burn show is definitely for somebody just hanging around under the radar I think especially at the price 35 to1 as soon as as soon as you um said the cares for him I I can see how that definitely appeals Harman obviously half picks himself this week just um just with his record around the place the um speaking of James’s other tip beden who or however we’re going to pronounce his name I’ll take that um he he’s a little bit more left field for me I couldn’t he wouldn’t be somebody that had interest me personally I think matama I think matama was um unbelievable last week I think again just just our pricing strategy top pricing in the village at 28 I think just with the with the reduced field um I think you can definitely find just from a pting point of view value around the between the 25 and 50s bracket basically just from a punter’s point of view from for betting each way um so yeah like um if if I had to plump for somebody it’ probably be maty armor at that juicy price but um I I can definitely see the cases for for Burns and Harmon as well all right well this is binding so don’t be trimming either anytime soon all right we’re recing this Tuesday morning they’re locked in they’re locked in for a while anyway James obviously there’s no cut here is there no no cut there’s there’s Cuts in the the player hosted Signature Events that were that we’ve had this season they’ve all gone so yeah no cut so it takes away that little bit of pressure I suppose should also mention the uh the weather forecast because I know quite a few of the uh the Watchers the listeners like to know what the weather’s going to be like Thursday it’s meant to be fine Sunny with clouds there’s chances of scattered thunderstorms Friday and Saturday U before the weather turns a bit better on Sunday sun and Cloud again so it’s that Friday and Saturday where there could be a little bit of disruption with some thunderstorms potentially good stuff right that is The Travelers championship at TPC River Highlands right now we are off to the outskirts of Amsterdam uh for the KLM open um what can you tell us about the call here James yeah the international in Amsterdam it’s only held this tournament once before that was 2019 Sergio Garcia ended up lifting the trophy that day it’s 7,042 yards it’s a par 72 we got 10 par fours four par 3s and four par fivs now it’s a it’s quite a sort of different course to what’s usually in the Netherlands but it was designed by Ian wam it’s an inland link style course so it provides a real challenge strong tea to Green game for me looks like being essential to success anything Wayward will be punished you’ve got pawns bunkers bushes wisy Fescue to deal with as well which sort of aligns the fairways yeah I think could be a really really good test forecast for this one is patchy rain on Thursday and Sunday Friday promises a bit more precipitation as well bit more rain there that’s going to be the worst of the day in terms of rain coming down Saturday’s cloudy that’s probably one of the best days think in terms of the forecast so you’re liking accuracy here yes definitely definitely accuracy I can I can forgive a slightly shaky putter um because it’s all about making sure you’re just on there if you can if you can t put your way around you know get your paws I think that’ll be fine but it’s if you start going Wayward if you you know if you’re slicing it right if you’re hooking it left off the te and you’re in all the roof and you’re out of position you’re not getting the lies to actually hit the greens which you know there’s some big undulating greens which should be interesting to see how they deal with it but for me te green is what I’ve been looking at and like I said I can forgo someone who’s not putting fantastically obviously they don’t want to be absolutely rubbish with a flat stick but yeah TT green for me good stuff AK proper Market this one 16 the field this is how a golf Market should look you got the top of the market for us yeah H typical typical European toour Golf Market 16’s the field um we’re looking at joint favorites at present Matt Wallace 16 with Tom mackan I think the Wallace price if anything will probably come under pressure and he’ll go off uh favor on his own um we looking at Rasmus hoard at 18s Soderberg the to the talking man on on the European tour 18s uh weisberger at 20 Lori Canter at 20 and then it’s 25’s bar now I’m on a very well-known odds comparison site here and there is a lot of bold on AK bets I’m scrolling down and continuing to see it so you fancy your result here as well they’re just so open and these events just European tour events just in general DP World Tour events in general um you just get such a widespread of bets we’re on the PG atour and probably on live as well it’s kind of quite concentrated at the front of the market in the main because essentially on on on this tour there’s basically never really any front of the market it’s kind of uh it’s kind of 16s Bar Bar M weeks um you get such a big spread of bets so it’s uh we we very rarely build up um liabilities that are really too hot to handle as opposed to on some other tours good stuff right I’m sure James has dug out some big prices for us as well who have you got James how many in the for this one got three again for this one okay and the main selection is burn vburger again you pronounce his name however you want to do it but 20 to one now I’ve mentioned the need for a strong ttree game well vburger absolutely delivers in this I tipped him up a few weeks ago on the sweet spot for the European open and he ended up tied second then so going in on him again to go one better now he leads in Strokes gain T green on the DP wi tour this season he’s in the top five of green and regs and also Strokes gained approach if he does miss the greens as well he usually gets up and down he’s first in scrambling and sand saves he’s second in Strokes gained around the green so you think where’s the issues with him well I alluded to it before and I was talking about the course I’m happy to maybe give someone who’s not that comfortable with the putter at the moment and we all know Vis Berger’s issues with the flat stick but barring missing a couple on the final round of the European open that was his last outing he actually looked quite good with the flat stick he’s gone to a like a bigger putter one of the like sort of the the broom handle ones so to try and get a bit more confidence and he ranked well in the put an average actually when he was at the European open so I’m quite happy to stick with him for me it’s the little it’s the little tiddlers at times with Eber that he still needs to sort of build that confidence on the sort of five five Footers or five six Footers around then if he can start Hing them more consistently and he can build with a putting performance he had with the European open into this week then you know if his T to GRE T to Green game stays exactly how it’s been it won’t be long until he gets back into the winner circle he’s he’s a multi multiple winner eight times I think on the DP World Tour that vburger has won he knows how to get over the line and I think if he gets this one then he could maybe Notch up a couple more maybe for the rest of the campaign good stuff joint top price with AK bets at 20 to one there and poterat as well with James Mason J James what part do you use I can imagine you going through all sorts of different testing given how uh how how focused in you are on the flat stick yeah i’ I’ve I’ve changed a few times with the head I can imagine I’ve got I’ve got I’ve got a I’ve got a Scotty Cameron uh Mallet putter um which I had extended ever so slightly just because I wanted a bit a bit more height on it I have recently looked at getting a broom handle belly putter but I just can’t get them For Love or Money at the moment they’re very hard to try and get um and I only want to try it out to see how it would be so I don’t want to spend ridiculous money on on getting one so to be honest I’ve tweaked with putter heads I’ve tweaked with the the size of them I’ve tweaked with my grip I’ve got kind of like a I’ve got a reverse claw grip that I use for my putter um you can you can tell where my issues are when I play golf I could believe all of that can you AK I can believe all of it yeah definitely sounds a little bit more complicated than my just pull out that cheap pter I bought from the shop out the bag there so yeah yeah all good stuff right okay right next best then in the km please James yeah we got a Frederick laqua we’re going to go for again I’m giving myself some hard names to pronounce here but 55 to one he’s having a really solid season as the Frenchman couple of top FS at the start of the year had a tide 13 at the China open recently so he seems to be getting more comfortable at this level he’s another player that’s strong from T green as well he’s sixth in that department in Strokes gained he’s 14th in Greener EGS and also driving accuracy so rarely goes that Wayward from te to Green again like reberger it’s the putting that’s being in the club that’s let him down ever so slightly but I’m willing to let him go at a big price and just the hope that the flat stick improves like I said he’s had some sort of decent results recently and if you can take to these greens think if you can put well on the first day and sort of get used to them and build the confidence then with how his T green game is going he’s certainly someone I think that could potentially get in the mix I think it just shows I mentioned it before that the prices and and how they are for the DP World Tour it’s so hard I think to price it up because there’s such a disparen of I think quality at times but you can suddenly get someone who is way down in the world rankings and then I think it was Jordan gomberg won um on the European tour the American and it was just like where where’s he come from so I think you get that a bit more on the DP World Tour where you will get people that are bigger prices come up and get the win good stuff we like the sound of that now the prices are getting bigger and bigger we’re 20s we’re 55 top price of AK third selection is that going to be even bigger it’s not going to be bigger but it’s going to stay on the same price 55 to one for Paul wearing running theme here but I’ve gone for another player that has impr pressed from T to Green 26th in Strokes gained approach 28th in Greens in regulation 13th in Strokes gain total so he’s looking good with the long game but he’s also got the added advantage of a strong short game Paul wearing unlike the other two wearing’s in the top 10 for scrambling and sand saves but the putter has been the huge asset he’s 20th and puts for Greening regulation and he’s 24th and one puts on the DP World Tour this season so that’s a club that’s behaving well for him recent form has also been positive he was he’s gone tied third tied 10th there was a Mis cut but that was at the European open and that was not a course that suits him that is a monster the green monster it’s called isn’t it the European open where they play it that is a huge huge course and not one that he wants to be playing on and then he returned from that Miss Curt and he was tied 27th last time out so he seems to be rolling along quite nicely at the moment and I just think he can have quite quite a big week and put himself into contention James I’d have love you to just been ballsy there and gone with Sebastian Soderberg and try to somehow make a case for him it’d be a brave punter to go for him right yeah I mean if if we’ve got worries about maroy and his his mental state then Soderberg I just honestly couldn’t believe I I was a little bit frustrated when I didn’t go for soda B because I thought yeah he’s he’s you know he’s he’s really strong he’s good player this is kind of his level to maybe get the win at and then blowing that lead honestly there’s absolutely no way that I I can go in on soda bir now until he’s probably won one that that’s the only way he’s going to get over this hump because that was an absolute capitulation from him in that tournament and yeah just just can’t go near him really even though he he’s even though he’s a good price he’s just not one for me to look at okay he could end up being a Skinner in the market thir fa couldn’t he surely there’d be no love for him yeah it’s hard to it’s hard to know how punters will react to him to be honest with you obviously that like you said that capitulation was um it’s almost unprecedented it was uh yeah real real tough a tough watch I’m hoping I’m hoping Tom mckinn doesn’t get it done the week Steve Palmer is not around um that he’ be absolutely heartbroken couple to couple to note that early cashy like we said uh sof the markets Monday evenings and that kind of thing a little bit of early cash for Tumi Kaya and your Han’s verman and then small nibbles for Callum shinin at a three figure price as well any love for watch alone’s very own D whitnell I’m sure he’s going to be a monster price yeah the The Sweet Spot the the watchong Mr whitnell is top price in the village 275 to one with AK bets so if if you’re a fancy the the the coester sensation um get stuck into that price but uh we’ll see how we go I I hope he goes well we’ll have a bit shrap each way on him there right um James anything else of note near the head of the market for that one or should we move on to the livers uh no I mean there there are a few big names up there rasos hoard but again I can’t trust hoard with his driving because he can go really Wayward and gets himself into all all kinds of trouble lorri Canter is an interesting one um up there obviously recently won he’s someone who think yeah that he’s just got that belief and confidence in himself now yeah the others Adrian AI was was almost in there he’s 40 to one just because he is bullet straight he is accurate off the off the te you know he hits his greens but he just didn’t quite get in there for me but he he was a close fourth selection I’ll be backing him s go out the bag I’ll be backing him right we’ll move on then to delivers then as I mentioned and we’ve got the Nashville Nashville Invitational uh at the Grove what can you tell us about the track James yeah um The Grove would you believe that uh Liv golf CEO Greg Norman was The Man Behind the design of the course live live going to a course like Greg no one knows well who would have thought it but it sits in the heart of Tennessee 7,297 yards par 71 it’s usually a par 72 but one of the pars is playing as a par four that’s the second hole just for this tournament so it’s got 11 par fours three par fivs and four par 3es you got water hazards on both nines the fairways they’re fairly generous so I think the bombers will be licking their lips going into this one but the greens are very fast they they advertise them as having them at US Open speed so you know they can’t be too attacking with the flat stick whether they’re right at the speeds we saw at Pinehurst I’m not too sure but it’d be very interesting they’ll probably be close or there about really um it’s held the Simmons Bank open as well this course on the corn fery tour since 20 21 um so they’ve had a few sort of lower level events there but this is certainly the biggest one they’ve had and yeah um it’d be interesting to see what type of player or sort of who comes out on top but I’m looking for someone who’s going to be hitting the greens and again it’s it’s not necessarily making the puts but it’s been a good lag Putter and it’s not been too attacking you’ve got to be good with the speed given the fact of advertising as US Open speeds on the greens okay good stuff right AK before we get into the show do how how much interest in the live golf is there compared to the other tours in terms of turnover in the market I think packing orderwise for us it’s probably PGA Tour top of the list and then live second and then DP World Tour probably be the third I think it’s probably a lot to do with obviously the names you probably recognize the casual golf fan recognizes more names in live probably than the DP World Tour just also shape of markets as well I think you’ve had uh the favorite in Liv going off 5 six to one for for for as long as I can remember anyway so I think it’s kind of and it’s also a restrict it’s also a reduced field as well from what was it last year 48 and now is it 54 um so it’s it’s probably easier to get players in the places as well than it is on the on the DP W to since his Inception I might find you a little bit of a curve boy but what kind of strike rate would the favorites be operating at off the top of my head probably not great um I wouldn’t know that I wouldn’t know the data on that off off the top of my head but yeah probably not not amazing who are you having at the start you were probably having cam Smith was coming off coming roughly around five when he came over I think obscure winners haven’t we that’s kind of what I was getting at is that those yeah the the bottom of the market yeah definitely like it’s it’s it’s probably not an probably not um probably not at all to get too competitive or too crazy about the the price of Outsiders basically yeah they they tend to they’re probably overperform in in in relation to their price at the start of the events where the favorites are probably slightly underperforming would be my guess okay well let’s uh let’s talk about the shape of this market then give us the show yes so you’re looking at uh last week’s hero Bryson D Shambo 7 to one favorite wacke nean 11 tyell Hatton who had a big week as well again last week by by the finish at 12 John Ram probably someone we still want to get in the in the book is uh 12 to one as well capup 14 Taylor 16 and 18 bar field of stars again James how many in your team for this one two selections for this one okay far away we’re going to the the top near the top of the market which I never usually do but wacky nean to me at 11 to one can’t be ignored he’s been in such good form on the live tour this season he won in my Coba and jeda also being fourth ninth third and seventh so such consistent form from him that is regular regularly challenging a bit of extra umph off the tea as well will be a bonus and he’s second in driving distance on live this year only dambo is ahead of him he’s also fourth in Greens and R and and eighth in putting average so everything just seems to be coming along really nicely for nean to have a good week again you want a player that makes some birdies as well here Neiman’s first in birdies on live this season he didn’t play at last week’s Us open either so there’s no sort of mental or physical fatigue he’ll be fresh and raring to go and I think looking to make a point as well he’s you know there’s a few Live players been outspoken about what they think about the official world ranking points and not being in Majors I think NE want to again just say to the world yeah I’m I’m one of the top players and I’ll do it by winning on live again oh James you never like anything near the top of the market so quite notable you’re going for the second fav there who else have you got for us yeah we’ve got Dean burer is the second and Final on 28 to1 another player that’s enjoying a good season on Ley W in Miami L that was in April since he’s gone third 14th and 18th so definitely keeping the momentum and the confidence building he gives it a good hit off the tea as well the South Africans they usually do don’t they you never get a South African who’s a short hitter really they they give it a good bomb and he’s third in driving distance he’s ninth in Greens and RG he’s 14th and put on average again very very similar stats to how Nan’s doing at the moment berer certainly benefited from his switch to live which he went last year um so I think he can continue to impress this week and potentially get his second title but yeah definitely someone I think who again 28 to one he’s just one of the he’s one of those players I think in when he was playing on other tours he was quite easily forgotten or he didn’t really look at him but I think now on the live circuit he looks like he’s happy here he’s settled and this is where he’s playing his best stuff okay those at the head of the market I mean obviously Bryson would be a bit of a surprise surely he’s been partying away right yeah I can’t can’t I can’t look at Bryson just because he’s he’s going to be celebrating hard so if he does come and win fair enough but I’m happy to happy to Swerve him John Ram still you’ve got the sort of the fitness where he’s don’t you he missed last week because of the infection and was it the cut on the in the middle in between his toes and he’s has got infected so how fit He Is We don’t know TI hat and I can happily skirt away from as well just because of how badly he finished the US Open um for someone who I thought could have made a bit of a run on that last day he just absolutely blew up so for me happy to go away from him same with kka I think he’ll be a little bit fatigued from last week so yeah those those at the top of the market I think Nan’s probably the best out of all those and AK I mean we’ve all seen Bryson drinking I think he was drinking wine at the trophy at some point surely there’s not going to be much love from him for the punters at 7 to one it’s it’s really hard to know it’s really really hard to know I think like we as we alluded to earlier like Monday nights can be the the softer time just with um for for European tour markets and the PGA Tour as well just with live being Fridays and Friday evenings in general as well they take they those markets T tend to take a little bit longer to form and getting the opinions form uh be absorbed by the market as well I think I don’t think you’re going to get much bigger than 7 to one if at all I think I think that is probably the price point where people will play um for Bryson yeah nean I think I think the problem with live is a lot of people when they’re having a bet on these events don’t really know the motivation of the players and how how invested they are in it given they’ve Tred a large check already I think nean has probably proved um plenty of times already that he’s seems to be one of the few that seems to be as hungry as ever if not more um to prove himself so I can see can always see the case for him he’s always popular every week to be honest with you and and like said as well ker is is somebody and RAM that we’d be real happy to go to get into the book Ram it must have been bad for for him to miss last week and and we’re happy to hang 12 to on as top price if anybody wants to get involved there good stuff wonderful right they are this week’s three tournaments James give us a a round up then on your your tip in your squad this week uh I will indeed as frantically scroll up the page uh The Travelers on the PJ tour G for Sam Burns Brian Harman Brian Haron Brian Harmon and Christian Biden how um on the DP World Tour we’re off to the K open at the international and we’ve gone for burn vburger Frederick laqua and Paul wearing and then livol Nashville we’ve got wacky Neiman and Dean burm good stuff wondered whether we might have seen some slightly different pronunciations as we did originally but I think youve done well there James if he was going to have one bet this week James across the three tournaments who would it be Sam Burns it’s very close between s burs and vburger but s burs just gets it for me good stuff wonderful thank you gentlemen for your time expertise and insight all good all good stuff myself and Steve will be back next week we’ve got the rocket mortgage classic the Italian Open James next time you’re on more putter chat as well do remember to like
