Lakers will now have to find another viable head coaching candidate as they have been for over a month after hearing this news former NBA head coach George Carl took to Twitter indicating that he would be more than happy to take Hurley’s offer and coach the Lakers Carl has a long history of coaching in the NBA as he has already been the head coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers Denver Nuggets Golden State Warriors Seattle SuperSonics Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings while he has coached plenty of places the Lakers might be looking for a younger option someone with fresh ideas and a coaching philosophy Carl represents the Old Guard of NBA head coaches there might still be some people left with his coaching philosophy and background but as evidenced by recent hires around the league it appears that most teams are looking to get younger Carl might not be considered for this role but the fact that he put this out there is an indication that he could be looking for a new gig abdj is a player a lot of Scouts and Executives like because of his smarts and toughness but if other people like him that certainly means the Wizards like him too that means he’ll be pricey wi wrote Denny abja is a tough as so on defensive end indeed abdj the number nine pick in the 2020 NBA draft had a breakout season last year and it came in the nick of time after three uninspiring years in which he averaged 8.1 points and 5.5 rebounds shooting 31% on three-pointers ABA established himself as a willing and tough-minded Defender but without much offense to offer he appeared to be on his
