This video was filmed in May this year (2024) at Serengeti Estates In Johannesburg. A fantastic residential estate all round with a cracking golf course designed by the big man himself, Jack Nicklaus.
We were so fortunate to be able to play with Kyle Barker, who is genuinely one of the nicest tour pro’s I have met and was truly generous with his time.

right Legends welcome back to the channel we are at the beautiful serenti Estates in the middle of Johannesburg and we’ve got a legend with us today we’ve got Kyle Barker who is one of the biggest Legends on the sunshine tour out in South Africa and it’s going to be a good day I hope you guys enjoy let’s go [Music] low right guys welcome back to the channel good to have you here we are still out in sa we’re at beautiful serengetti and we’re on the last six holes here and there’s a little bit of a Twist today to scramble we off the L’s teas but I’m not by myself obviously it’s a scramble got a legend with us today it’s the car Barker so Carlo thank you so much for joining me again so kle is a sunshine Tour player and plays at a lot of the co sanction events um on the DP World Tour and the challenge tour yeah and he’s done super well this last year two wins done really well in the order of Merit so playing some good golf so I think today we can go of the L’s quite low I’m going to predict 8 under 3 six oh my goodness okay eight under 3 six two Eagles and four birdies okay this is good so let’s see if we can do it wait two Eagles and four birdies is eight that’s what I said right is that right let’s go oh my god let’s do it okay Dan the line here should be just left of the flag perfect wind’s in off the left so just give it a rip on that line love it the boy has started South Africa Serengeti estate is 20 23 minutes from the airport is there accommodation there um no but there’s going to is it yeah it’s awesome I’m sure they’re going to build a hotel sh next time green I’m going to be hitting a six on here um and I’ll be going just right at the flag so yeah let’s make some Eagles what club you got six on six on be good come lift yeah that’s perfect just that’s one just right of the green maybe on maybe on was a good strike yeah that looked nice okay okay guys I got five on and stad so one more go straight at it Dan yeah let’s go straight at it bit of a cut we 200 under through three of the red te’s here at serengetti um we got three holes left 16 17 18 very very birdi B holes possibly Eagle very much so yeah so now five we’re about 150 M ahead of the back te 378 par five slightly into the wind but 378 so a short Par Four effectively yeah um it would be so this is going to be good so we should have just a short little chip wedge in yeah okay we’re good to go good I made a nice full wood straight down there that just freaking looks perfect but I don’t know should be good yeah came out a bit low sting it sting of wood cuz then it just disappears so is at the flag okay bud perfect yeah oh that that’s a perfect t-shot bro is it good yeah that should be perfect come on boy yo that was nice that was better 116 into by 15 130 but also pitch behind and then suck back you got to pitch it behind so I’m going to actually hit a a 46 that’s perfect wedge yeah so I’m going to hit a wedge and it’s going to hopefully I’m going to hit this like comfortably 116 to the flag Into The Wind by 15 yeah 131 131 pitched five past 136 okay 136 shot is perfect yeah you can go straight at us oh wow that good S A oh BR what a shot though yeah what a shot that thing was pure yeah I just thought I would go further past I thought that would have gone past as well yeah I think cuz I’m hitting it a bit higher the wind caught it a bit yeah it’s not fourwood seven seven wood it’s my 250 Club what have you got so driver for you goes about what 280 290 290 carry then then I got four wood which goes 270 okay so 20 M then seven wood goes 250 yeah another 20 then I’ve got a 10 wood right which goes 235 okay and then five on so you don’t have the driving irons of that kind of struggle to launch them yeah you can see everything you do is quite low everything yeah it’s pretty low it’s good in linkx golf yeah it’s lacker I’m going to launch this one actually Dan as he says I don’t launch it I’m going to launch this one bring it in from the actually got a tricky put here another long Eagle putt um it’s going to be breaking from the left and yeah flags at the back we lying right in the front of the green so we can just get the pace right hopefully we got the right line and it’ll drop shop shop it’s a tricky putt this eh yeah it looks a bit like um you got to get it up that slope there if you leave it short it’s going all the way off the green so you got to keep it left and then it’ll just feed down at the end while it dies and just hope it catches the right slope yeah I got you see not that slope not that slope that’s off the lift it’s got far giveness this is a ladies driver by the way no yeah what do you mean a ladies driver it’s a ladies driver what do you mean it’s the tiess ladi’s driver tsr1 12° no this is actually built for ladies what’s different in it though that so the center of gravity is here at the back okay which promotes High launch more spin interesting and it’s a draw bias driver um so it’s actually it’s built for 90 mph Club at speed and Below but then you come in at million I wasn’t allowed to use it at first but then I had to win a tournament to show them that I could use it really yeah but since I’ve changed to this driver my my scores have just dropped tremendously cuz I’m hitting more Fairways got way got more shots to the green which equals more birdie opportunity 100% okay so um you see this bird here middle Fairway yeah you got to go the one on the right and the the one bites Ace you got to go just right of it okay but you’re hitting a draw I’m going to hit a draw think we got to yeah we got to finish the ball just right of this bird okay I understand I’m going to cane this one huge draw is that okay not entirely sure might be huh I don’t think [Music] so it’s fine R Danny Boy’s got you come on boy got you just hit it up to the right at those trees there oh yes oh yes that’s perfect perfect right there that’s okay perfect shot Beauty I try to give it a loft I think it was high in the face that was nice at least we safe okay guys so we’re taking Dan’s drive here um I hit mine into the water wasn’t the best swing tried to hit it too hard um but Dan saved us yeah he’s hit a peer down the middle we’ve got 84 to the flag downwind this flag is now tucked it’s like 3 m from the water so we need to be very precise with this we shot 84 playing what do you reckon 80 exactly yeah yeah it’s probably going to help about four from here I really hope you make it cuz be cool to come and watch you in the open so awesome dude okay 80 okay come on boy 80 m to the flag let’s go straight at it let’s not be shy get in the hole s come back back oh it’s coming come okay we’ve got one on that’s a great shot we got to look we got to look it’s a tough shot he was dressing there bro it’s a tough W shot this bro yeah but I definitely I I committed which was nice yeah I’m going to land I’m going to get very aggressive on this love it I’m going to try land it like a meter
