Dorian went for an arm bar at least twice with his top foot in the arm pit of gordon. Both feet below the arm pit. Offering no control of the head. Strange to see. Danaher doesnt teach this way.

the kimura trap sequence starting at around 5:28, is what I love about the top guys – does not always have to be flashy but just perfectly timed. A buddy once told me years ago when berimbolos were the rage, that the flashy shit starts around mid blue and lasts to about mid brown, but when you get to black belts it is back to fundamentals. Not sure that is true per se, but I like to think it is.
@3:40 could someone explain in detail what Gordon is doing? As in is he more folding Dorian’s neck or pressuring with his other arm etc. Thanks!

I like watching B-Team's content, and I like what they're doing with CJI…. but if I was a high level competitor, I'd 100% rather train at New Wave. Gordon may be a bit cringy online, but they dude is a great teacher and training partner, and doesn't risk injury in training.
