one for Ken mcginness he’s throwing some beautiful passes in this game Paul langmack but I also give some credit to one of his support players who really didn’t come into the play but he he put the defense in two minds langmack catches the football there as we freeze it I think that this player who’s come through opened up the hole out wide this play continues we see they slide straight through in fact it was the big front rower out there who just caught the the eye of the defensive player Matt Singh had come in a little bit that opened it up he’s got enormous speed mcginness and Jim Smith lurking out there for the mag pies he helped in that try without even touching the football the Black and Whites comes back for Newton last tackle Newton now they would be sweating on a rooster’s error clear is there he comes up with a ball but West get the penalty the Chaser georis was taken out of the action for the second time in the match Shane rigon got him this time the number 16 and it’s a good decision because there’s no way known that rigon was concerned where the football was coming down he just wanted to make sure that he was getting rid of one of the Chasers there’s George a punch in the tackle and will be penalized saw a signal from I think it was Mesa saying send him off I think that may be a little bit too much but there was definitely a swinging arm there they may kick and then well here’s a penalty to western suburbs for the late challenge is it on Pearson and I think that Steve George Alis is in a lot of trouble out there he was the face coming through he really lashed out at the football and made contact I think with the roosters player and that would have hurt field of play he probably could have got the roosters for offside again Mesa tries to borrow his way from dummy half they don’t really have the troops on the right side of the field they come back to the left with Newton long ball has to be intercepted but knocked down by elgore we’ll I reckon El Good’s probably let go go of the football Ward was calling on El good to play it Hasler thought well there’s the ball I might as well pick it up H back the tacklers Shir dummy again from Dale for Sinclair a one-handed there’s the sort of quality work Sinclair can come up with and El’s good in his first game in the tricolors has scored for the roosters but Jason Sinclair has shown a glimpse of what he is capable of with a little one-hander that’s why we’ve seen Sinclair play state of origin lovely little pass opened up the try line for Jack El good and he’ll feel very good about that his first game in the new colors of the roosters and this is the the penalty that went against western suburbs very hard to is is picking up the football if it is free and Jack El good certainly did not have control and Desi Hazard doesn’t blow up too often on a footb ball field but he’s given the the touch judge a serve and Dale Shear threw the dummy inside couple of plays committed there two plays committed with Jason Sinclair flicking one out the side and that gave them the overlap he’s played well D Shir Sinclair it’s not an easy thing to do to flick one out the back like that he won’t scor too many easyier tries El’s good we hope that he’ be scoring a few more in the tri colors [Applause] so what a week for Jack ell good on the Footy Show on Thursday night there was still continued speculation on the $11,000 man of the match goes to Luke rickinson tough day at the office today Luke losing Freddy fitler so early yeah it was uh bit of a shock to our plans earlier on but uh you know we stuck to it they lost the man very early and it made it uh a lot tougher for us cuz they tried so many different things but uh you know it was a good for win yeah that’s a trap you can fall into against 12 men you think it’s going to come easy uh yeah you know you’re sort of uh try and play the game a little bit wider and you know they’re very enthusiastic trying to uh get the ball a bit wide of us too so M it was a as I said it was a very very tough win today what about yourselves a lot of new players into the side it looked like a little cusion missing there today yeah you know uh Gus played a lot of BLS in different positions today and uh you know we don’t sort of train a lot a lot of those bles positions so it made it uh made it very tough in the communication
