[Music] [Music] [Applause] hello and welcome back to final round coverage from the 20124 Waco annual charity open presented by Prodigy you are watching the disc golf pro tour on Jes Pro and we have just nine holes left to decide our champion Nate ston Jeremy coing and Paul Yari with you spicing up here we’ve got guys on Chase card and even third card trying to make a little bit of noise uh Anthony Bella actually I I don’t even know what card he was on popped off an 11 under with an ace he’s posted a score it’s actually a little bit below the pace set by Ganon currently in first place six under in the front nine is a solid start to this round but Nicholas a like I just mentioned on Chase Card seven under through 11 holes he is trying to make an a case for a Chase Card Champion something that we got very familiar with in the 2023 season but like wo always does it is given us a nether tyght battle nine holes to go anyone could win this one off the green that’s awesome H 10 par five 1,45 ft up the hill miss a couple trees a lot of people are throwing an inside Hiser in front of that green on the left and then a second shot somewhere in that field third shot you can go up the middle by the mandatory or you can go wide around for a little Heiser really dealer’s choice if you’re in the right position is this the third easiest hole on the course this is the second most birdied hole I’ll put it that way oh wow and that’s and it’s actually the easiest okay there’s a good shot there from Luke right in the middle Nate you’re going for just a flat little shot this has got to get down you could get tucked over there by that tree we no you’re good kind of singing the Praises of what we thought about hole 9 as being a really nice hole it was actually birdied by 72% of the field played 63 under par which is a pretty low score to par yeah 3.37 is almost in the got to get range yeah that’s that’s a crazy statistic for that hole they definitely need to make it harder this is getting away from genon oh this is going way right lovely that was going out of bounds that keeps him in I don’t know what kind of position he has here I don’t I mean unless he’s yeah he’s not styed so I I mean birdie is still very very much in play on the easiest hole in the course there’s really not much stopping him from putting it into position there and probably less than 300 on the Heiser coming into the green the only thing maybe could stop him is that he was assessed an official time warning there by the tournament staff after that shot we just saw and there’s that mid-range Shotz yeah it’s just a mid but it goes so fast you could be lying down just having a picnic and that could hit you in the knee on the FL and not hurt yeah it could land on your head and spin on that little on that little button please get off the course have a picnic somewhere else today please but it wouldn’t even hurt Luke right down the middle perfect little spot if you do go sidearm sidearm sidearm you’re the only person ever to do that him and Chandler Kramer I’m way up there in two both of those both of those got probably 400 surprised to see it off the T but I like it it’s a good play stays away from the green and it gets well well past that one Guardian Tree mhm yeah ganon’s just going smooth effort that’s not much to it and parked and how was he on his time on that shot here here’s the conversation where I think he was then asking when when exactly as time starts you know just trying to get some clarification but he did in fact get the the warning assessed and they told us about it on the next T I didn’t I didn’t notice that happening in real time and that is a good example of just how impossibly tall gabur is Evan is a normal-sized human being and he just was straight up looking almost vertically down towards this needs to get down okay good reaction immediately a skip right there on that hard pan and that’s going over over the sidewalk I like the width staying away from all the trouble perfectly thrown right there in the picnic basket nothing wrong with wide here you can get in trouble going early oh he’s doing it the old forehand there’s not really I was so far up I’m so far up there’s not really the backhand Hiser anymore what disc is that this is a metal flake Toro okay it had the profile of an X3 and I know you don’t really throw them that much got to get this one up yeah couple good putts back to back on eight nine get that confidence up yeah three in a row that’s really good really good stretch somehow still birdie despite the shank drive way to the right the time violation the stress that causes two big hisers over the top still birdie this guy is a freight train rumbling down the track and what I liked about ganon’s character Arc if you will is when he lost in that playoff in in Las Vegas we knew then just by the way he played that he was going to be trouble and he has been nothing but since that occurred Casey white going for the island green is just going to hold on what an aggressive effort from Casey wow blind to the pin easily 400 plus to and just Nails it underneath the tree great shot look at that smooth little sidearm perfect so good Kyle on a bird dir streak yeah you ain’t kidding looks like it’s going to continue guessing it goes in and this is another C2 that’s at least four c2s for Casey white pretty incredible I used to call Nate Perkins putting style stab of the putt it kind of looked like he just jabbed it in there but I think Casey’s kind of adopting his own stab of the putt style the way that he kind of gets that offhand up he’s just kind of using the force while it’s in the air it’s kind of a neat style definitely working keep doing that all right we got Ganon up by two that’s a nice place to be at any point in the tournament especially at the end yeah the later it gets the better it starts to feel whole 11 Par 3 265 down this hill throw it into the hillside slider on up we have seen a couple sidearm turnovers work that’s a pretty technical shot though I’m guessing we’re going to see a few backhands and maybe a little that little sidearm turnover from our co-host here our resident sidearm expert mhm I mean three of the top five ever and you too Paul you’re somewhere in the top 25 I’d say yeah I think n Nate and I make up three of the top five I came up with the top five and I’m about to take you off another comment like that I mean some danger here too high no that could get you out of thep at least you stayed upright though Luke with a good drive nearly parked I guess you’d say Luke is parked very low but a gooder skip angle yeah that is so hard to commit to that nose down I mean if he’s off by just a matter of inches that hits the ground right in front of him and he looks kind of silly doing it but instead it’s just a great shot I would say he didn’t love it he was a little worried but got the great slide this is a little bit better I found this grass to be incredibly Skippy look at think just keep on evident right there Skippy and slidy no real opportunity to go full barsby here so just tossing it up give yourself some credit that’s in Papa Nate Ranch we didn’t call it that after barsby we named it after you buddy genon coming back for the birdie let me guess no nasty spit out there absolutely perfect and that could Loom large yeah Absol absolutely but this is his putting style is prone to that happening on these baskets when it comes in with that sort of speed off the pole that was a little bit right that wasn’t even dead center though that’s kind of in that sweet spot on these baskets where you want to kind of Hit the right side of the pole if you hit a dead center sometimes you get that that prone to the the bounce back but that I don’t know man I wouldn’t have changed really much at all about that putt I agree with you but how many have we seen from g yep very much birdies for Mason and Luke pars for Nate and Ganon gon still holding on to a one shot lead over the charging Nicholas antila whole 12 par 4 815 ft over OB to start and then down to an island green you got to get your drive out with some distance moving maybe a little a little bit to the left to stay safe and then you’re going downhill to this pretty generous Island but with the big Guardian Tree little bit of slope back there behind the basket so got to make sure your speed is good on the way in another really nice hole I mean the more aggressive you play a t-shot the Sher your approach will be but if you do get too aggressive you can find yourself out of bounds incredibly early and spelling potential double bogey this is a good t- shot yeah a little farther than you’d like but you don’t really want to push that OB line on the right one little mistake pulling it a little bit offline all of a sudden you’re ring and that’s not something you want to do like this is hyper aggressive I feel like absolutely got too much flip for oh wow yeah there you go oh man I thought it was still going to make it back in bounds same and what what percent of effort are you putting behind that uh probably like 85 at least yeah I was going to say it looks like that’s near full effort yeah it’s pretty close not not trying to go too crazy and that was very close to the ob line it was I didn’t love it I had never tried that play but when I earlier in the round I saw wasaki doing it across the water and I was like well if he can do it I can do it so across the water I was on the other side of the water and he was on that hole oh oh okay I and I saw him go forehand I never even thought about forehand off that te and then I decided to give it a try old learnning New Tricks well now that you’re there it’s very short into the island yes and what I like about it is you’re Heering back towards that line giving yourself the shorter approach yep meanwhile Mason after going out of bounds early having to just pitch up to not even really where he’d like his drive to be I imagine he’d probably want to be a little bit farther up the Fairway yeah just trying to salvage bogey that’s best case this looks great yep dancing over the hill decent ground play doesn’t seem like they like to skip on this island look at Luke’s little stretch right now that’s for five in a row and seven of the last nine or seven of the last 10 something like that really good good and slow down I do not does it come back no I oh tried to there I do not know how that skipped that big and that fast that is just a Texas ground but said I really liked the I really liked the shot and I didn’t see hardly any other discs skipping somebody said to me down there that it hit a big piece of bark I don’t know but it was unfortunate I really likeed the shot how could any even anyone even know that they were one of the camera guys are the spot oh okay oh and Ganon has made a huge error and has found the early left out of bounds he’s gonna have about 45 for par then Mason needs this close to save his single Bogey and things are little short things are looking good for Luke on this hole yes yes it is Mason up for first for the bogey and what a save that was that was a beautiful putt that was his best stroke of the round by far I mean this one is yeah his early birdies were all Park jobs and then after that his birdie efforts were all a little bit left side that one is just right on the pole and that keeps him in the tournament it’s not great where he’s sitting right now but it keeps him in the tournament especially with Ganon throwing out of bounds right here and having this to save par and missing so he goes to 33 Mason stays at or goes to 30 Papa over the TOA yeah was it was kind of a low ceiling and I thought oh just get it high enough yeah you Juiced it I mean you learn it from the mistakes the low putts in the front nine but that is very unfortunate especially considering the drive is where you wanted the approach looked fantastic and next thing you know you’re walking away with the one over par in the hole looks like the whole card’s going to be doing that except for Luke who’s got a tap and birdie coming not really a tap in here gonna have to earn it strike yeah now to go back to genon I can’t help but think he’s been so dialed get the dead center spit out all of a sudden that’s going in your mind maybe take a little bit off off of the next one miss left sure well let’s see what neela is doing now that Ganon has gone backwards a step just fing yeah that is really good the nose angle control the speed disc selection all pristine going for the low wide skip yes you betcha nice not a gimme oh wow yeah a little more than it looked like yeah it started to race towards the end for sure but if he’s on the Chase card checking we’re guessing he’s going to make it we need to throw a couple misses I going to say remember do do you remember back in the day when we used to throw the random footage of how far the putt was people got smart on that and they thought that oh it must be going in we would just throw in random footage on misses yep but I I like the Chase carard checking on makes like let’s continue doing that let’s see some highlights nichas right now is giving us highlights and really putting pressure on the lead card he’s putting so well [Music] yes whole 12 a good spread of birdie par and bogey not a lot of holes in the course kind of providing equal numbers in each whole 12 was the closest to a nice little 33 33 33 it was a little bit off from that but a lot of people getting overpar and yet enough birdies and pars to kind of make it very balanced yeah this whole 13 is a tricky one we saw how Nicholas did it we’re probably going to see a couple sidearms off the te just hit that Gap give yourself something so you can play a shot into this screen it’s either going to be wide left skipping to the green or wide right skipping to the green you can go over the top but the crash play um is iffy this is your main objective hit this little Gap I think this is just a really well-guarded basket I haven’t seen very many places that I’m loving the spot that it’s so easy to to see how to access the well this is the second most balanced hole as far as birdies pars and Bogies on the course and they’re back to back I I think the closer you get to the out of bounds line the better your shot is to the green which is something we don’t like you’re not used to that yeah you don’t want to get over there like hitting the middle of the Fairway really isn’t the middle of the Fairway now this might race over to that right side that’s a fantastic Drive yeah that was blasted that was that’s that flippy Destroyer yeah that was some frustration just kind of going I was going to throw Firebird but I decided to go full gas oh boy that creates a little more drama gon not making it through the Gap got to play for par now oh okay he’s got his work cut out for him that’s right where an okay drive lands a pretty good drive here’s the stall play don’t love it just because of those those Guardian they’re all about circle’s Edge I think you’d love to go low ceiling regardless if your left or right side Center nothing really is that great on the high side here’s High though High crash and Plinko you see what I mean that like I like the low skipping in there totally the grass is short enough that you can kind of this is going to skip in there yeah yep that’s the good height there right that M mid height but if you want to throw a low Skipper you can get it to kind of burn off the grass and continue going forward so what are you looking at here I was trying this little backhand Dart but this is too high and too soft and pretty frustrating because that drive was so far mhm can still save the birdie with a big putt can still save the par with a big putt you always there’s always something to play for Luke off the cage unable to take advantage of ganon’s most more than likely par coming that had to go in and he gets it what a putt from Mason yeah big time yeah must make he’s got to get the rest they’re all quite getable nothing easy oh hello barely winning feeling uneasy there or just a little Mis relase it’s been a pretty uneasy day I’ll tell you L is so cash he’s got a good demeanor for this these types of moments I I totally so does this young fella from Finland Nicholas antila nearly Greening out the entire last nine scorecard that’s incredible and going with the wide late Skip it’s needs to slow down going back in bounds wow oh zuka zuka zuka what a nice break there I wonder if he has any idea how that occurred if he didn’t then he does now can he take advantage you bet he can look at this run from Nicholas anela now at 36 under par with three to go wow he’s just birding everything that is so impressive and Luke now leading the card but trailing the pace set by [Music] Nikas [Applause] [Music] my I’m the best I’m the best I’m the best hanging on my my chest on the [Music] the whole 14 Par 3 375 this one’s kind of low ceiling well protected no real out of bounds to deal with so you can go with low backhand turn power forehand roller I think is also a viable play with the wind being down just have to throw something really committed and straight flying [Music] lot to like here just doesn’t catch heer Edge at the end but still inside the circle that’s a great line is that inside the circle or was that might have been the fpo maybe that’s okay that that makes sense I don’t know you might be right I I might have been I don’t know we’ll we’ll see I I think you’re right I think it is outside the circle Luke going nearly pin high you’re looking like you’re lining up that forehand roller play that we were talking about in the practice yeah I like this for the the low ceiling just work it out to that right side and let it turn over I’m guessing you weren’t able to do this in round two with the wind no not possible and this just such an overstable fiber never wow gets back over as soon as you’d like but still the line was perfect I mean it’s straight in line from te to the basket yeah that’s in the circle just inside probably yep that looked too easy that that was a big help that was a nice little tick for sure that looked like that was just starting to slide out to the left oh yeah you’re right Paul that’s just inside 3540 yeah he knows he needed that One MH Luke he’d love this one right now oh just swings out to the right side running out of holes that one never had the height it needed good effort though thank you there it is big birdie now we have a couple here on lead card at 34 to back I’m worried about them if Nicholas keeps doing what he’s doing yeah oh yeah he has holds all the cards yeah and I’m sure at this this point I know that ganet likes to check in on scores I’m sure he’s aware of what’s going on oh absolutely he was he was very aware of how many birdies he needed at this point if Nicholas can get this this is such a bonus hole absolutely and with everything he’s already done exactly look at that move I mean compact flips it up flat moves a little bit left but I mean that’s pin High wow on the 450 uphill this is a bonus birdie all the way Nea to get to 37 under little breeze doesn’t matter striped this is becoming an alltime round right here he’s destroying good buddy Thomas h on the bag they’re looking at scores I would say that at this point genon needs all the birdies I mean and even that might not quite do it both him and Luke yeah Luke as well for sure I mean if nichas just pars out they’ve got to get three of the next four and none of them are that easy no exactly if if Nicholas gets the birdie on 17 you can almost put a stamp on it game set match but before then we got whole 15 they have to get this one this is 430 over this golf green low ceiling off the T been seeing a lot of flex shots get it low underneath the limb have it Flex back into the pin got to worry about that out of bounds on the right this is a shot that Ganon and Luke just live for that looks really good it’s going to race a little little bit yeah that’s 30 ft though he’s he’s okay with it thought I had a little bit more pepper getting over that hill but same just kind of put the brakes on this is getting away from Mason needs to clear the golf green it does with his little low ceiling release it seems like this is the this is the hole for him oh for sure this is a luk humer hole all day long look at that it’s I mean oh even if it is your hole to hit the bucket is just showing off yeah my caddy Brad says Touch of Class when it when the disc just Taps it got to see got to see this another time it is incredible how much he’s able to get height out of that low ceiling with that low delivery and the CLE so good that’s the putting distance you like when the pressure turns up nice and wide is it overstable enough oh baby yeah yes it is oh yeah that was so low and anheiser driven yeah great drive right there that’ll get you to 27 and at this point I think Mason knows his fate no reason to run that M big putt for Ganon right here snap crackle pop right in the middle and you can hear him as soon as he out of out of his hand yes yeah then that just lets you know how much he wants it how important he knows that putt is yeah why didn’t you go yes right there yeah I mean like he could have said yes on 11 when he spit out but he didn’t that was just as good of a putt as that one was how was he so confident that that was going to stay in the basket I don’t understand you know what I’m saying sure but that was such a quick yes I mean that was instant about it’s not about it’s about the stakes more than it’s about the line yeah yeah it’s about the fact that things are becoming clear how important each putt is a Miss there could end the tournament for him well this could end the tournament for them if Nika can get the birdie oh no this is a little leaky and you think he knows it oh no and in a horrible spot too that’s going to be 45 ft you just can’t run that putt I don’t think that you can you can you think well you can I don’t know if he will but it’s just if you miss this and you go from cards in in your hand to now you’re playing catchup he’s just been putting so well oh man that’s an interesting call there it’s going to drop him back to 36 and that brings both Luke and Ganon back into it of course that’s the right play you can’t go after that and end up taking a seven a six or something it’s just if you’re off slightly you can roll and then you can roll OB and it’s just you don’t want to have one of those times when you look back and say what would happen if I laid up he still has control over the tournament too he can birdie 18 yes and we were just saying before par par gives them a really great chance well it’s 36 35 35 right now so 38 still on the table for Luke and Ganon theoretically yes but I mean 16 it’s hard this is one of the tougher gets on the course Absolut is no gimme and 18 is one of the harder birdies to get on the course absolutely so the in my mind 17’s kind of a musket but this is a total bonus hole and so is 18 that’s the line you’re looking for right there needs some a little more flip yeah that’s his overstable one I take it back I I thought that that thing was drifting a little bit more to the right before it started to Heiser out didn’t quite have the speed behind it that I that it looked like he initially had going with his strength the force over anheiser needs to get stable haers at the right time wow that’s a great Drive still outside the circle that’s going to be about a 45 42f footer it’s that sweet spot he likes that spot quite a bit a little bit uphill looking yeah you got lining up that Christmas side Winder this looks to be a little tight needs to slow down it’s just so hard when it slopes from left to right and that’s just going to curl just barely OB correct yep it’s a nice nice play there from Mason all haiser the whole way get yourself inside middle circle that’s a great nothing wrong with it you know there was no like oh my gosh please no yeah big putt for gon oh good line he’s just always so online with those you can see the frustration he knows running out of holes oh so close what do you guys think right around here I the same thing there’s no way cuz like think about how it curled yeah right there huge putt here for Luke yes yeah put the fist up [Applause] 36 that’s a good feeling that’s a good feeling putting himself in the right spots you know like that is if you’re not going to be parked for him I want to see him at that distance you know you don’t want that just inside the circle putt at this stage I don’t think really anybody does yep good par sa you know what I mean though down the stretch of tournaments nobody wants 30 Footers no 28f Footers nobody no jump putt it’s fine there’s like a little less pressure of course in this moment there’s always going to be pressure but you miss it oh I miss a jump pup whatever sure the ones just inside those are you have to make them it’s that range where the M can shake you to a place where you’re just going to lose yep or you don’t get that from the a little longer putt it can be dangerous I agree with you couple tied at 36 such an important hole beautiful hole Yeah I mean danger looms just 395 downhill probably pling about 370 but there is a left to right cross one you got to watch out for that cuz it can drop your disc these guys are going to be trying to go wide Hiser I’m guessing and it can drop you hit this slope it can roll it’s really important to either Spike something right into that hill or throw something from the bottom to skip up if you miss left we saw with Nicholas what can happen you don’t want a long putt on this one Luke holds the cards right now if he goes birdie birdie there’s nothing they can do I this would be the winning formula this nice shot right here up high look at that that just what a huge shot statement shot for Luke humph 20 feet from the PIN for birdie to get to 37 this is a little wide and coming in with a lot of speed and angle uh oh oh finding the high grass in the back side of the green but that’s that putt that you just don’t want that’s going to be 45 up the hill and the guy that he’s trying to chase is 20 ft away from 37 under little high this has got to get some legs yeah told you we don’t want to throw it there is that just inside the circle a little outside oh oh we good to go yeah yeah and you’re not playing for the win well crazier things could happen yeah I don’t mean to spoil it for you guys I already said I wasn’t going to win after whole [Laughter] [Applause] five nice to have that stroke back from that SP good shot there from Mason here again say it’d be nice to have the stroke back from the spit out from 11 yeah that would be really nice not a lot of Breeze here oh my gosh that is a center as you make them oh my gosh what a pot on the stripe just perfect just perfect yep didn’t flutter didn’t stray I mean that was just perfect yeah great where was that on whole one and two and five c2’s been decent today I’m only kidding a good stepper there and that doesn’t make it over the rim barely that thing up at the top where the confident putts go in and Mason pure over the rim and in and now Luke for the star frame and a onot lead going into the final hole of the tournament yeah yes I mean one shot lead for the moment we still need to see anela on 18 has the opportunity to match yeah I I apologize I got ahead of myself I was just thinking about Ganon here 36 knowing that ncla was 36 going into ho 18 and let’s see what nichos does coming off the bogey on 177 taking that w wide line gets the good Skip it’s going to be a long way from there it’s a hard birdie to get going that low Hiser line but nichos has the roller capability of getting there I would imagine 500 to the basket or thereabouts decent angle but just kind of pushed way out to the left side and not a ton of roll back towards the right that’s nearly pin high but somewhere in the 75 to 80 range maybe more yeah I think it was just a very long ways away I do too oh wow what an effort so it’s Luke 37 can par yes but we Gan into birdie that would force with a Luke par that would force a playoff so all nichlas can do is sit and watch and if you sit and watching a screen and watching that putt he might just be replaying it over and over again because that’s just a thing of beauty Luke 10 under for the rounde at this point we knew it was going to takes a hot round from the lead card to hold off Chase card but 10 under and he’s only got a one shot lead going into the final round that’s incredible stuff from the field I mean he’s just annihilating the back nine yes Lucas yes he’s definitely has some he has hiccups on the front nine but like you said the back nine has been his nine so far all right off the te you’re going to see this [Music] Gap two gaps you want to hit one on the left for a flex shot and then the Hiser we saw from Nicholas there is a roller play as well oh splits the middle of the V Gap and not a great I mean fortunate to get through but not a great lie Canon going with that Hiser play it looks like has to have a birdie here that is a decent position but it’s a long way back really like what you’re doing with this roller and a lot of action it is com back I don’t really know if anyone throws overstable rollers as well as you do it’s I’ve tried over and over again to throw a Thunderbird Roller the way that you do and I just do not know how you do it well I guess the good news is I don’t know either exactly what’s making any that different but I do like them I like this play here right there in the middle for Mason sitting in fourth place currently Luke checking scores seeing what he’s got to do and I think he has a pretty decent idea knowing that ganon’s got his work cut out for him got to keep this one in the middle of the Fairway I think it’s going to be important who goes first here if it’s Luke or if it’s Ganon if Luke can go first oh that’s right on the green that is not good for Mason but if Luke can go first it’s going to be luke first okay well he can play aggressive get to the pin show that he can birdie or lay up to the left or something make sure that pars sure an option going big wide Heiser here and onto the green and pushing and it circles around the back side of the green and Luke is now getting indication that it has rolled onto the Green from The Backs side that is the one mistake you cannot do and I got to say from that perspective you can hardly tell that out of bounds is in play there but that’s just you got to know the course Ganon knows what he’s got to do now he needs now really this to get away from nlas and that’s over the top and skipping by the basket settling inside the circle if now Luke has got to throw in from out of bounds if Ganon were to make that putt just to keep the tournament going so Nate you were by Luke is that was that his only play like to kind of go wide Heiser was he that tucked he was kind of under the ceiling a little bit he certainly had safer plays if he wanted them but clearly elected to go aggressive hoping that he could get across that green make birdie and this one was just overturned in the ground but look at that yeah too low that was a magic trick that thing was on the other side of the hill just a moment ago and there it is on the other side of the Hill it was a great drive but not a great approach to back it up I only had about 360 ft left which I feel is pretty good for this I don’t think there’s anyone that threw a longer drive off the te and Mason that will be a bogey on the final hole but a great event yeah yeah absolutely so Luke do or die here for par nice height oh that was so close really good effort now he has to [Applause] wait so now if Ganon were to miss three-way playoff yes if Ganon makes it’s over and Ganon will be the Champion Circle Edge I was just talk man a little inside Circle Edge but I was just talking about how these are the tough ones this is also the putt that you dream of making to win a big tournament for the title huge what a win from Ganon Burr incredible drama playing out in the final hole Yeah just crazy and what a charge from anela humre is playing fantastic at Waco for another year and birding four of the last five to get the one stroke win incredible stuff hats off to Luke an incredible performance I know it’s not the result that he was looking for with a one shot lead going into the final hole but man incredible second place on the disc golf pro tour is never anything to hang your head about top 10 finish for you sir with a 28 underperformance ladies and gentlemen your 2024 Prodigy presents wo Champion [Music] gon congratulations to Ganon [Music] Burr genon that was one of the wildest rounds of Disc Off in recent memory for me you just looked at me and said that that was too much stress for you to handle how are you feeling right now uh well it’s always how it goes down it feels like um you know in in the moment you want to have the wind be easy but at the end of the day when you go back and watch the video it’s always sicker if it’s done in a cool fashion like that that’s just an insane round for me you know I went from feeling like I was going to win it super early on in the front nine even made a couple mistakes on the front nine and then know toward that middle stretch where I got a Time warning and had a dead center spit out for birdie and then proceeded with another Bogey and an early tree hit on the hole after that I knew I had to go perfect I think I bred for last five to seal that and it such a crazy finish Texas let’s give one more round of applause for your Champion here in [Music] Waco genon starting to enjoy Texas I think he he won the open at Austin Chase card last year last year now A wakeo Champion we’ve got his chance to defend coming up just next week down in Austin gella jumping from fourth card all the way up to T4 with his 11 under and an ace great start for Anthony brella this young season but congratulations to Ganon Burr already anothertime winner on the Elite Series disc golf pro tour yeah I think it’s just a matter of time for anlin Luke Humphrey’s really showed us a lot um in this tournament unfortunate shot there on the last hole but the way he carried himself down the stret he was in control of the tournament and he was just fractions away from getting a a nice win right there and look at how that top three separated from the field 37 36 36 31 three guys just way out in front showing their class in an event that’s always so tight it really was tight for those three and then it was just a matter of what was going to happen there at the end and neck lost with the unfortunate bogey on 17 Luke with the unfortunate bogy on 18 and Ganon stepping up big time four out of the last five that’s the kind of clutch finish that you need to have if you want to take down one of these big tournaments was a pleasure being back with
