it’s LPGA time here in West Michigan tomorrow the Meer classic will once again tee off at the bfield country club with a stacked field led by the world’s number one ranked golfer 25-year-old Nelly Corda comes to Michigan in the midst of a season that could go down as one of the best in the history of women’s golf Corda has won six of her last seven starts including a record tying five wins in a row something this sport hasn’t seen in over a decade going into the 10th year of the classic Corda already has a win under her belt here back in 2021 and after several strong finishes at blyfield she comes into this tournament as the oddson favorite to capture another Victory on her historic 2024 run I love Grand Rapids uh so many great memories here and it’s actually one of my favorite places to come and compete I feel like the whole town Gets behind this event and uh yeah just I know that the weather’s supposed to be nice and that just makes it playing in front of that much better Corda will tea off at 12:59 tomorrow and she’s going to be paired with Brook Henderson and the defending champ that would be Leona Maguire
