we promised a drone look at the front night and I tell you what the drone’s been busy all week giving us beautiful pictures Aaron from on high I hope that guy’s got a lot of batteries cuz I mean the pictures that we’re getting from there and the pictures that we got we did this at the Players Championship and it was absolutely stunning uh going through the golf course and we’re going to do it starting right here at the first at Pinehurst number two a beautiful look down this kind of handshake start at Pinehurst gentle it’s gentle it’s a gentle hand sake t- shot but then you get to the second shot as we move along you got to avoid that bunker most guys are going to be hitting four irons three irons maybe the occasional hybrid some guys like Gordon Sergeant maybe even a five iron cuz he’s so long and then you’re going to hit a wedge into this green that is absolutely diabolical and you got to be careful with that as we move on to the second hole it gets longer and it gets tougher the second hole is 500 yard you got to avoid it but you got to be on the left side of the Fairway not the right side of the Fairway to attack this very difficult angled green with sand on the right and obviously over the back and pretty much every Green at Pinehurst is no good you can see how bad that angle that green angle over there as we go to the third hole you’ve got some what I would cons consider like semi aiming scoring opportunities the first three holes one and three as you’re going to have another wedge into this but again being on the proper side of the Fairway based on where the hole location is is going to be helpful if you’re hole location is on the left you want to be on the right side if it’s on the right you want to be on the left side to be able to attack this whole location it’s interesting that you refer to scoring opportunities yet you use the word diabolical in there Aon that kind of tells you the scoring opportunities aren’t really that easy out here well we get to my favorite part of the golf course by the way where we want to talk about a lack of scoring opportunity well I’ll tell you what the number number four used to be a par five before 14 they turned it into a par four when I played it it was a par five it was a pretty easy par five but now it’s a par four it’s 528 yards it’s the longest drop into the Fairway 42 ft from the T from the T box all the way down to the Fairway some four stories and ball hangs in the air forever plus it’s a very sloped Fairway from left to right here on the fourth hole and you can see that all of that all of that stuff on the left and right The Wire Grass completely in play and it’s a little blind on that left hand side so it’s a very daunting t-shot and as we turn around that’s the fifth hole on that right hand side and that is an a crazy hole as you’re coming up to that green and the angle that you have to create to get that green there’s the the playing the playable surface on that fifth green is hardly anything it’s about half the size of what the actual green size is so hitting that green in Two Shots is going to be absolutely really difficult you’re going to see everything from potential threes all the way to maybe even sevens or eights with no penalty shots as we go to Six probably one of the hardest par 3es all the par 3es are difficult but I’d say the hardest part three on the golf course absolutely brutal all like all the other greens a turtle back green but you’re coming in with a with a long iron six iron for the very longest hitters to all the way maybe to four iron for the shortest hitters trying to land it on the on on something that that just does not want to hold a long iron that bunker on the left is extremely deep the bunker on the right is actually very playable especially in the front right to the to most hole locations that’s not a bad Miss as we move along to the seventh hole beautiful hole here you stand on the back of that te and you’re like where do I hit this shot outside of can I go over the right side do I have to chase it down the left side you’ll find that guys in the practice rounds uh as it soft will try to carry they’ll usually try to hit it here I think right there in the in the tournament but they’re going to try to carry that mound right there on the right that we’re just passing it’s 46 yd deep that that that part of the Fairway and it’s going to be extremely difficult to hold as the week goes on as these Fairways get firmer and firmer and another green where even though you might have a sand wedge or a pitching wedge in your hand or a nineiron you can’t go at any of the flags you really got to play safe there and aim in this eighth hole is absolutely stunning when you step on that on the back of that te uh and watch this Fairway snake down left to right it really is and it’s You’ think on the face of it it’s a hole where players might get aggress if it looks so generous but it’s like everything else at pineur number two it’s generous As you move your way down here but the closer you get to that business end of the hole the more punitive it actually becomes yeah you’re going to see most guys hitting sixes and seven irons into this hole at 488 yards it comes uphill a little bit and there’s a little pocket right where that flag is right there and it looks like they’re not going to use that pocket too bad sorry guys you’re not going to get the easiest whole location on the green it looks like you’re going to have to deal with it you go over the back of this scen and you’re going to end up on what is right there as we make our turn to the ninth hole that is the ninth T box look at how close it is you’ll see balls if guys get over aggressive or catch too much golf ball when they don’t want it will be on will be on that ninth T box and this ninth hole is spectacular and if they move that tea up when the when the hole location’s down in the front right you could see we we might see a hole in one here that ball will gather right down to that hole location in the front right the back left very plateaued very difficult easy to go long here that bunker on the left left hand side actually if you get up in that bunker that’s not a bad spot to be to those back left hole locations as these greens continue to get firmer and faster that might not be you’re literally going to talk about you’re going to hear caddy say cadd say that front bunker that’s not bad let’s try to land at front edge um but if if we don’t that that front bunker is okay we can get it up and down from there and that’s literally how these guys are going to have to play i’ i’ heard players talk about literally laying up in front of two what are you going to do what are you going to do on two I asked the player he goes I don’t know I think I’m going to actually I might honestly depending on the whole location I might lay up on the front of that green and just pitch it up that green every day just because there’s so many bad spots you can get to on that hole

  1. Tell Nelly Brooke Lexie MJ Lee Charley Linn Annabel I love them to the moon and back 😘😘😘😘😘😘

  2. The truth is this course is shit. It does not bring out the best in players because it was designed by wankers trying to make themselves appear like something other than f'wits. After all, they were not bright enough to reward great shots through every part of the course, it is a design by morons.
