While reviewing Anthony Kim’s WITB, there really isn’t much to glean from his set-up. He is sporting an all-Titleist rig from the clubs to the ball, without any drastic customizations. It’s not quite stock because the shafts are custom to his swing speed and feel preferences.

hey y’all back at it again another week the bearded Bros Golf Show I’m rod and I’m Marcus with AKA you know 12 years ago to a recent pick you know pick from this week how do you assess your first week back um obviously it was a rough week um I’m excited to be playing professional golf again I feel uh very blessed that I have this opportunity and um got a lot to work on but I had a lot of good things going my way this week week so I’m looking forward to building on that and um being in contention at some point this year what are some of the positives that you can take with you to Hong Kong I I’m definitely uh hitting the ball well I’m doing a lot of things well I know the scores don’t reflect that and and it’s disappointing to score that way but at the same time I know I have a lot to build on and and um I’m just going to keep doing what I’m talk about his what’s in the bag honestly it was pretty straightforward almost um I I almost said it’s like an amateur bag but you know somebody who’s got some money yeah this is the bag of a guy that stays in Highland Park has is a career golfer um you know his parents had money he played for the school team did well went to a D1 school he had a scholarship you know didn’t necessarily need the money but they gave it to him anyways you know he’s just some clubs he’s had for a while and just you know got back into the game again and you know they were just like you know what let’s just go out on the lamb and what were your numbers okay all right so we’ll put you in this shaft and we get you out here and yeah pretty much the only thing that’s not stock is the Scotty is the is a Scotty T and that’s putter Brook yeah yeah that’s the same putter that Brooks uses so real fashioned real oldfashioned you know heavy-headed blade putter um it’s got like the the bronze insert or whatever in the middle um it’s a pretty cool deal but I mean it looks old as H but yeah bro I mean there’s nothing special about his bag I mean honestly he’s at he’s playing some really yeah the you know uh the most people are not going to play the S400 um you know shaft that’s a heavier shaft that’s the really the only thing that’s outside of the norm but other than that I mean you’re really talking some not off the rack stuff but pretty close to it I mean I’m pretty sure the driver shaft was you know fit for his his swing speed currently which hopefully he gets stronger and you know gets back into golf shape which you know he’s not out of he’s not out of shape he’s an in shape dude in terms of you know him being trim but you know you’re building up different muscles and I think the part that I maybe was disappointed by it I didn’t have any expectations let’s say of him shooting in the 60s at all right I was hoping that he’d get around the par um but I think yeah if I’m live again we we’ve talked about again they just kind of do things on a whim and there doesn’t seem like there’s very much prep going into it um into the going into the week it almost felt like this was a you know we’re kind of twiddling our thumbs seeing if this is going to happen seeing if shows up you know they got him a social media you know an Instagram account which we talked about last week and you know hey they’re free to the world everybody and their mom can get an Instagram account for free so easy so they posted the video you know with the song with forget the artist name but it’s featuring her I didn’t want to play it because honestly the video I saw it in a different form when they played it during the round and it didn’t go as well with the music that they selected versus what they were able to you know connect on Instagram well done video [Music] [Applause] right dreams Rebel with the Lost calls and there’s no time to sleep as long as my eyes still see as long as my heart still long I’m I’m free so I don’t count on nothing don’t ever stop running I ain’t hurting nobody so just me I got good intentions I don’t need your blessings yeah I’m already blessed yeah I’m already blessed then free blesse yeah I’m already blessed yeah I’m already blessed and [Music] free I think the part that I didn’t like was saying talking about haters and it’s like hey man you’ve been away for 12 years who’s hating on you at this point you mentioned the Eddie pepper ril tweet and you know how that just doesn’t make a whole lot a sense as someone who’s not been around the game to have haters he hadn’t done anything that part was like super bizarre to me but other than that I like the energy of the video right just showing the family yeah showing him kind of traveling over to Saudi Arabia kind of the buildup to uh to the weekend but other than that I just felt like they could have done a better job of getting his game prepared maybe putting this off until you know a few weeks down the road watched him play um I don’t know simulate you know a practice round maybe even throwing them out for the proam you know again this is a pretty tight lipped organization I think you can sneak him out for the proam without much fanfare right you’re controlling the media that’s around your organization I don’t know that that’s the part that I think could have been done a little bit better you get a lot of stuff out of this channel y’all little business knowledge you know a little technical golf knowledge a little BS in here and there you’re you’re in a well around environment so uh hit that subscribe button hit that membership button um we got you covered on all things golf
