what is happening YouTube L ke here representing am golf.com and in today’s Amer golf.com review series I am reviewing the new Puma Phantom cat Nitro golf shoes for a lot of people they don’t really think too much about how much their shoes can lower their golf scores or at least help them keep their energy up throughout the course of the day for guys like me or tournament Players it’s really important to have golf shoes that are both stable and lightweight um and for me specifically what I like to what I worry about when I’m sh for shoes is how stable they are on the down swing I have a lot of dynamic movement with my lower body and sometimes that means I get out to the leading edge of my left foot and it starts spinning out too early and that gets the club dumped under and can result in a lot of bad shots so in this video that’s mainly what I’m going to focus on so when I’m putting on a new shoe I’m really mainly thinking about my left foot so I’m going to hit some shots for you guys today and then go over the technology and hopefully it better informs you on your next shoe purses but here we are full four steel can and golf course on the vineyard side I’m going to hit a driver and keep an eye on my left foot and see how stable it stays what I don’t want to see is this so if this thing stays on the ground and I can plant and we’re looking pretty good so I love that I don’t really see that too often and that it just feels like it that hug the ground so so far so good hope you guys enjoy this video let’s talk about some shoe Tech new Phantom cat is Making Waves on the PJ tour with guys already on Puma staff guys like Ricky Fowler Gary Woodland and JJ spawn and me though I’m not on staff I am just wearing them and I do like them so I want to go through some of the technology you guys are going to see in this video here Flex spikes is what they call dual injected which means the inner part of the spike is firmer and stiffer for better stability without sacrificing traction the softer perimeter is actually so soft that the spike spays out to hug the ground in any Co condition throughout your swing which is pretty cool because unlike other shoes boasting this kind of traction it won’t damage even the softest screen the secondary traction spikes you see fit seamlessly with the spike design and compliments each other to allow the shoe to disperse your weight and leave a ghostlike imprint on the greens the flat out sole allows for more foam to contact your feet which makes the shoes super comfortable the next innovated addition to the new Phantom cat is nitr foam it’s a super critical processing foam where they actually inject nitrogen gas to the foam as they mold it into its signature shape the little air pockets this creates makes it super lightweight almost at the point where you don’t really feel like you’re wearing shoes at all when you walk for tournament Players like me or someone who prefers to walk when they golf the pro foam midsole and platform combination is proven that this shoe will really help keep your energy level up by avoiding foot fatigue another thing I noticed personally when leaning down to read putts and or pick up a tea or it’s just like how lightweight the leather is on top of the foot along with the mesh on the heel of the shoe it’s really flexible but also feels like it holds my foot into place snugly so I’m a big fan of these shoes to be honest as far as like sporty athletic shoes this is right up there with me it looks good when I look down for stability this is fantastic I don’t think I’ve ever had a more stable shoe Comfort same thing to be honest I don’t think I’ve had a more comfortable shoe like it it feels like you’re wearing nothing which is super nice and overall performance you know I think it helps the swing it helps me stay to the ground keeps my left foot from sliding out I think it’s really going to work I play in dry conditions so it’s great for where I’m playing price of $179.99 I think this is a great value hope you guys enjoy the video
