still got at DC and still on his feet in the sheds tonight look there’s no denying it uh 5 minutes into the match Brad it turned on its head and the life was certainly for momentarily sucked out of this Stadium between a New South Wales home game as Joseph swti on Debo connects with the head of ree Walsh and both never return uh the send off it’s going to be a discussing po point from here on did they have any other choice tonight well I’ve watched the game over a long time now as a young kid played at and the game’s at a level of Glitz and skill that has never been before and a lot of that is because we’ve taken a lot of players having to think about being knocked out and being hit high and that aggression level they’ve been out you know you look you wouldn’t run to a corner post and think about what hand you’re going to put the ball in and how you’re going to dive and if you thought you going to get smashed in the face or a boot was going to hit you in the head like the games had to take a step to look after the player safety I feel so sorry for Joseph he plays the game very aggressive but I got to say it like to see ree Walsh lying there yeah I think it’s a send off I I don’t think you’re going avoid it in his Defense Joseph there there’s a lot in his defense without a doubt when he’s coming in for that he thinks he’s going to hit reys here but then reys sort of goes down next thing instead of here SLS backwards yeah and throws the pass it wasn’t deliberate absolutely wasn’t yeah sorry K was there when you [Music] saw mag when you get the back of shape and it’s a split second when you got guys like Ryan Pap and D you got ree W coming out the back of shape I feel like Sali did the right thing got the right right obviously level but ree is trying to brace himself trying to get out the tackle and trying to get break the tackle and he’s obviously lost his feet and it’s not ideal it’s not a good look for the game but fredd it’s a s bin or sorry not a s bin it’s a s off but it’s it probably ruined the game which it did but I think the refere Ashley Klein I think he’s sort of gone oh well and then he’s looked down and Reese is snoring he’s going oh well he’s going to be off he got to send you off so he’s getting feedback the whole time reviewing it and stuff like that I mean yeah the fact that ree never returns as well justifies in some way shape or form too there’s no middle ground though is there between a send off and a s bin I mean the one the one word I’ve heard tonight is unfortunate because it was unfortunate it was 5 minutes into the game and the last thing you want is 12 on 13 and in the game I think you know what the whole stadium went oh like and I would assume like it’s a rivalry but I think Queensland is want to you you want to beat 13 don’t you that I mean oh maybe we almost lost with with 13 against 12 you know we we probably would a little bit complacent there at one stage but yeah it’s not ideal when I was sitting in one of the um boxers obviously doing a Q&A I seen the the incident and I thought oh look I kind of dropped me shoulders went oh look I was really excited to see a really game a good game of footy and um it was a great game until then and unfortunately like you know what it still was it was oh yeah for sure you 420 till the 4020 I think that was about the 65th minute or so but they they had a red hot crack and the coach will be able to go away and go here’s enough moments boys he’ll be able to convince him here’s enough moments we can do this we just hold the ball stay in the game longer we got thir this time there was enough moment there enough signs of courage to give the coach hope I’ve got the feeling he might be saying right that right now too uh to his troops Brad cuz they were very close to making it 20 to 16 so Brad here we are like 25 minutes after the match and M is still going at them you know shouldn’t they just be relaxing and okay well look let’s let’s worry about it next time we come into Camp I think every man I think everyone’s different different yeah okay honestly if you if you want a coach like someone else you’re going to fail miserably because there’s a lot of pressure on this year NRL on 9 is your One-Stop shop for all foot that’s right Freddy not about the highlights Action 7 days a week biling gas podcast get that on your drive on the way home Immortal Behavior grab a SE on the couch for that and of course my favorite Freddy in the a the best footy brains the biggest games don’t trust the algorithm subscribe to NRL on9 and get all your entertainment there

  1. Outcome should, ideally, not be part the decision. Looked more uncontrolled flying shoulder charge than tackle.

  2. another case of umpires ruining what could have been a good game. No itention and the little guy put his head in the way when he ducked or slipped

  3. Come on….
Rugby League is a contact sport. We all understand that we get hit in Rugby League and Union. What's the issue?
Reece Walsh knew very well that the game is a contact sport yet he decided to build a career in the sport. You can't blame defenders all the time. It's weakening the moral of the game.
Moreso, Reese Walsh milked the sent off by laying motionless on the ground. He was cleared of any head injuries.
In fact, I'm beginning to see Reece Walsh as another Kaylyn Ponga, they both seem to be fragile in physical stature. Let's get it straight, if you can't play because you have fragile bones then don't play! Find a career somewhere else.
This isn't as worse as the Latrel Mitchell on Joey Manu incident last year. Let's stop exaggerating on minor issues and fragile bones.

  4. If the shoe was on the other foot and it happened at suncorp it would of been a sin bin, qld are always winging to the nrl and the nrl favour them

  5. That's the most sensible thing I think I've ever heard Fitler say. Actually taking an impartial look at the situation and then making a statement.
Was strange actually listening to the commentary and the blues guys were all talking sin bins and the qldrs were saying no.
They all played before the rules started looking after players so they're all probably down to the last few cells i suppose so I cant be too critical.

  6. Yes it was unfortunate he slipped into that tackle…
Yes we only had 12 But it's state of origin you lift. NSW. Spent to much time walking around the field .. playing club footy . Only Teddy knew what was required to win that game ..
    Speed , muscle and tenacity..

  7. It was Deliberate it was nsw game plan he lined him up and took him out!! Sick of fatty apologising for the COCKROACHES!!! He's a closest nsw.

  8. If you're gonna try a late step and slip over every time someone lines you up, expect to get whacked in the head. If Walsh fronted up and took the hit like a man instead of a pop star we would've seen a high quality game of footy against 2 great sides. Instead we got this.

  9. Suaali is not the chuffing victim you bell end, he raises his knee every week and cleaned out Egan with an elbow, he’s a piece of work

  10. He just upholding the Roosters tradition of Fastest send off's
    Origin 7 minutes, Suaalii
    Test 13 seconds, Morley

  11. When you're a man short for most of the duration of the game, the job can still be done. Look at the Boks v All Blacks world cup final, ABs came up 1 point short, and that was on the biggest stage the game has to give. They also kept South Africa scoreless in the 2nd half. NSW gave it a fair hard crack until the 60th minute then it all fell apart unfortunately.

  12. doesn't matter how much NSW , trying to say that the contact was a accident see the video again , and you will find out that there was no REMORSE SHOWEN TO REECE BY SUAALI'I when He was knocked out ..

  13. if 2 opposing players are running toward each other, then both are responsible for how they contact, not just the defender.
If the attacking player chooses to take their eyes off the defender and lower their stance in order to pass the ball, then the defending player has no control over that.
I suggest that Reece is at fault, in this instance, not the tackler.

  14. When teddy got laid out no one got sent off refs are always on qld side he slipped into the tackler is his fault fatty even can see it

  15. It was a very poorly executed tackle for a guy at his level, send off or it opens a pandoras box to take key players out of the game .

  16. why would you put such a contentious referee KLEIN in a state of origin????
we have seen him blunder calls SO MANY TIMES and he did a terrible job on Wednesday

  17. I am a blues supporter 100%, no one wants to see any player injured, but I agree with fatty. my fear is that the ref has set the level for all state of origin games of there is any contact to head they are sent. this one was 10 in the bin. if qld contact head in game 2 and doesn't get sent there will be a riot.

  18. Im a die hard QLD supporter from PNG..This looks quite an accident but somehow it was deliberately to put off Reece Walsh..Anyways Maroons have the best team last year and this year..If they could score points with 11 men and win the game last year 2023..How come blues could not manage ..Go Maroons!!.Lets defend the title again to farewell DCE the veteran.
