CARLOS SAINZ joins WILLIAMS in 2025?

Carlos Sainz is said to be joining Williams in 2025! That’s right after news of Carlos Sainz leaving Ferrari broke there has much been speculation of which F1 team Carlos Sainz will join in 2025, with talks of Carlos Sainz Audi, Carlos Sainz Williams and Carlos Sainz Red Bull. If rumours are to be believed though Carlos Sainz contract negotiations are well underway with Williams F1 team for the 2025 season. it’s media day for the Canadian Grand Prix and I can tell you right now the caros science is almost certainly going to end up here at Williams driving in 2025 huge buzz in the padic today Carlos signs heading to Williams hasn’t been officially announced yet I mentioned this in the video last week that Williams and Carlos were a long way down the track and right now I believe it’s a 99% chance is it the best team for him to go to probably not but are they on the rise how will he and Alex albon go because he’s going to end up taking Logan Sergeant seat and that means we will be losing a US driver here at Formula 1 which is a shame it would have been lovely to have a US driver drumming up even more support in the US market when will this announcement be made I can’t tell you that but everyone I’ve spoken to here now says that almost all the doors have shut and this is the best option for Carlos still on the subject of Carlos he was doing a number of media interviews out here in the paddock under gray skies and by the time you watch this I think you will have found if the predictions are correct that we’ve had a heck of a lot of rain which pretty much put pay to anything happening in the late afternoon here at the circuit jville nerve now chances are some of you would have seen Oscar pest’s photo of me this was my photo of him in fact a number of photos and he grabbed this camera from one of his social media guyses I gave him a very brief lesson and said here take a photo and he’s turned it on me uh which was funny so I shoot him he shoots me and and then a little later appears on Twitter now U to be fair it’s very hard to know how to move that Focus dot on a camera if you’ve had 3 seconds introduction to it so don’t judge him on that photo I think with a bit of training and a bit of practice he will come good now let’s go back to last night in the city this is the Ritz Caron and there I believe up puts of 10 of the F1 drivers staying in this hotel and there’s a group of people behind me here who are very excited about the prospect of seeing one or more of them and then there’s an even bigger group up the other end who are hopeful of seeing the drivers and who are they here for Lou Hamilton Daniel Ricardo Char CL Yuki Char mon for [Music] Ferrari from no no no wait wait wait no no no look look look here and Carlos this come from Marano Marano beautiful for Ferrari hi Charles I love you we love youx it’s my birthday today so if I see you it will be my gift and while there are plenty of people on that side of the road on the other side of the road there’s probably 50 as well everybody’s waiting for sh so we hope to find sh [Music] well they have been waiting some time for this charl Clair has just arrived in this gorgeous yellow [Applause] [Music] Ferrari oh my God who’s the happiest I get a lot of comments on my post how do fans know where the drivers are staying well I think once one person Cotton On and posts it on social media it just runs like wildfire and suddenly there are 50 100 200 people waiting out front of those hotels that one in particular being the most popular in this city at the moment one thing’s for sure though the drivers will all be staying out five star hotels because of the security and the Comfort level and even though they don’t spend a great deal of time in their room they’re still looking for that upm market experience because they are such in demand at the moment so what would you be paying per night to stay at the Ritz carton well next weekend off peak it’s about ,200 a night which is maybe 1350 us a night but this week it has to be at least double that so 2700 us a night to stay at this glorious hotel and you’re mixing with the very best of the F1 drivers oh I was waiting for col but got did you go today oh yesterday I yesterday okay did you see my picture of him today at the track yes I saw him for the bike I’m waiting for Charles and his girlfriend Alexandro but Charles is already in I think he’ll go back out what do I have to say yeah uh I love this atmosphere out the front of the hotel because um we don’t get this in very many cities so it’s nice we’ve moved from one direction to Formula 1 um and we think they’re going to fall in love with us you know it’s F1 weekend you just see all the stores and like everyone the city just comes to life you know it’s summer in Montreal One race week yeah I’ve had like a couple tourists ask me like randomly on the street they were like why is Montreal so loud and I was like so excited to explain to them I was like it’s because it’s F1 weekend and you’re so lucky to be here on this weekend like my first F1 weekend and I stayed longer in Montreal because of F1 weekend I was supposed to leave in May so everyone I had high hopes and I hope it’s going to be nice I’m working there by the way I’m working there on the door of of the grand stands yeah so about 300 M around the corner is the Four Seasons there would be I’m guessing 25 30 people here waiting for drivers which drivers uh czecho well we we think he’s there we haven’t seen him if you are friends with him please tell him to come sign our CS that would be great we have been waiting for a for a while that’s a to laugh at Jack Duan this morning he drove in and mentioned the fact that despite he is driving F1 at fp1 tomorrow he still has to drive in the media car park which is about a 500 met War another Jack here today Jack without a CA is Jack Crawford American driver who’s doing fp1 tomorrow here for Aston Martin now I find this of great interest this is Melissa gimenez interviewing Fernando Alonzo now this pair go out together but when it comes to F1 they’re immensely professional and in fact I spoke to Melissa and she mentioned that she used to interview her father when he raced and it was the same thing where they drew a line between professional and personal life I did happen to catch these two talking today and photograph them then I came back about 10 minutes later and they were still there and still talking after another 10 minutes they were mainly reminiscing about times in Formula 2 and I still think olle bman is going to get that gig at har Pier gastley was funny this morning I see him coming towards me and he’s dressed a little bit like a gangster rapper I thought so I mentioned that to him and he gave me this funny series of hand signals and I said oh nav’s in nav’s a local rapper here he says oh no I’m doing something with him shortly I just went out there and saw nav who I’ve never heard his music all dressed up in a race suit let’s talk fashion uh today Louis Hamilton looking spectacular made the long walk in over the bridge in this brown outfit Yuki sonoda dressed in Hugo while Fernando Alonzo was wearing the other label of Hugo Boss and that being boss now I did take particular note of Daniel Ricardo’s outfit and I did mention to him what’s the go with the padding on the shoulders and the elbow it’s actually from Alpine Stars reserve and when he pulled up and you’ll see the car he pulled up in my um what the drivers drove video next week uh I did note cuz I was standing on the same side as the the drive and was focusing on his mirror he actually got changed into that sweater inside the car and then when he was ready he then appeared for the media and to be honest a lot of drivers do that they get ready in the car and then they get out Lando Norris wearing kith pants and I couldn’t work out the shirt but to be honest it’s quite plain it could be anybody but he looked pretty smart in it and lots of comments on the post about his neck size and I guess driving at the speeds that they drive that’s going to be a byproduct of the sport oh and one last look Zan new in this outfit I originally thought it was Dior but he corrected me it is Lululemon I thought he looked pretty swish now for some things you might not know about this track it’s normally an open Street well half of it for cars half of it’s for bicycles and almost all of that concrete barrier and wire fencing is taken down except for the section between turn two and turn three that stays up the grand stands are all up they are temporary and the work starts on those in March but if it stops snowing earlier they can start work earlier on them the whole track was relayed last year and interestingly this bridge was deemed to be not high enough last year so did they raise the height of the bridge no they lowered the track by some 40 cm and that’ll save a whole lot of trucks damaging the bottom of the bridge here’s some something I learned yesterday if a driver has an accident in this section of the track they’ll have to jump to the outside then they walk up to this little service road where they are met by a person on a motorcycle they’re fed to this point and then they have to walk through this dense Bush and at the other end they’re picked up by somebody else with a scooter and fed to The Paddock Montreal always comes to the party when it comes to F1 there’s popup stores here selling a whole host of merchandise but not Mercedes because they’ve got their own separate popup on the other side of
