have no idea zero um no it was brutal it was brutal uh a just truly improbable 32 lead the entire game and then they lost they tied up in the ninth lost in the 10th else you would have hosted WVU for Super Regionals um with a golden clear path to Omaha and instead now the season’s over so are are we done are we done being a baseball show is that it no more uh I don’t think you ever even allowed us to do a baseball segment no we did we spent at least 10 minutes yesterday it was an awesome game super bummer I mean you tell me bro I mean George is still in it are we done being a baseball show or you gonna watch your dogs no [ __ ] Greg ask your question is it in Athens is it in Athens uh no they’re not a super host but actually let me see how the well it could be let me see how the bracket broke down who they uh who they’re going to square up how the hell would could LSU become a super host but Georgia couldn’t uh it all has to do with seeding because West Virginia the three seed won the Tucson Regional instead of Arizona and LS was a higher seed than West Virginia therefore if they would won well you know I would say you’re not an idiot but I don’t know you seem to have trouble grasping this why what happened to the good what happened to the good brackets side have been using can’t see [ __ ] on this bracket okay uh Georgia in I think NC State was a national seed okay wait UJ was an N Seed I’m an idiot my bad my bad that’s on me ugj ended up getting naal seed for some reason I thought the uh showing at Hoover they will host it yes it’s GNA be in Athens that’s on me I thought the poor showing and Hoover held them back from getting the national SE okay maybe I’ll take a trip to Athens let’s go um fun time NC State Georgia I mean the the the crowd against Georgia Tech was fantastic it’s gonna be a cool environment you might as well check it out see if you get hit with a little bit of the bug um okay on today’s show show uh we’re going to talk quickly about a very dark Shiloh Sanders story um maybe a bit about ninth game there’s a funny Dabo video out there bit about Notre Dame and then we’ll do our Alabama and Auburn season predictions uh real quick let’s dive into the Shiloh Sanders story so um it’s well it’s it’s it’s a weird it’s a dark story where you don’t know who’s telling the truth but basically Shiloh Sanders in case you miss Shiloh Sanders uh files for Chapter 7 bankruptcy um this was discovered recently this happened last October and it all stems from a uh court judgment in which uh Sanders was um a Texas court judgment was ruled against him for nearly $12 million damages uh Ed to a former security guard at his old Dallas High School um now the story gets weird John Daren is the uh is the security guard he alleges that Sanders uh assaulted him the tripa academy Sanders was 15 at the time uh Darin says that this left him with cervical spine and permanent permanent neurological issues with damage to his cervical spine and permanent neurological issues um Sanders for what it’s worth alleges that Daren was the aggressor um and it gets really weird from here on out uh in April 2020 Sanders original lawyers withdrew saying that uh Sanders was quote unwilling or unable to continue funding the defense uh because of this Sanders claims that he could not afford legal representation at the time of the 2022 trial know the court dates and he didn’t show up so Darin showed up to court one the case got the million um civil fing Sanders is saying again that he didn’t know about it and in terms of the original incident it’s all even very muddy and ugly uh Dion released a video to TMZ back in the day which would kind of portray darene as more of the aggressor um he’s just like a snippet uh for what it’s worth in Sanders case the scrs principal actually wrote a statement to the Texas department of family Protective Services saying that darene held Sanders by the neck before throwing him to the ground it all allegedly started over Sanders talking on the phone which was against school policy but Daren on a new Jason Whitlock podcast is claiming that Dion was the reason that he was trying to take the phone from Shiloh because Dion asked him to because his ex-wife or something it’s muddy it’s nasty you know what the [ __ ] to make of it um I guess it’s something to keep an eye on going for forward uh I don’t know if I feel too comfortable offering any kind of judgments on this case given that we don’t know what we don’t know but uh yeah a crazy headline and Shiloh Sanders filing for bankruptcy well I listen I’m not a super you know I know my finances and I focus on mine but I would feel like it’d be better off to pay it from his dad popping the1 million than your son the 24 filing for bankruptcy I Wrong well I don’t think they I I I I I I I don’t know I don’t think they want to pay it at all because I think the Sanders Camp is alleging that Darin’s a grifter and that he but the court is forcing you to pay it’s better than going through bankruptcy and having that on your record the thing is I have to imagine that this bankruptcy move comes uh on the heels of legal Andor Financial advice you know what I’m saying no I 100% age I can’t I can’t imagine that Shiloh just arrived here on his own uh no I get it’s a way to protect protect you but I just know it goes if you ever go to get a loan that is one of the first things they’re going to see oh you’ve been through bank youve you’ve been bankrupt before or you filed for bankruptcy before yeah it’s on your permanent record yeah it makes it little little bit difficult as a 24y old going forward but I mean I’m sure Dion had the best financial advice for him like I’m not a financial ADV I don’t know I’m just saying like I I don’t I don’t want that on my record at 24 years old saying that I’ve been through bankruptcy already no I agree um again it’s it’s it’s all it’s all weird I I don’t know uh why wasn’t Sanders Camp defending the lawsuit again they claimed that they didn’t know about the new civil court dates um in 2022 they just didn’t show up which admittedly I maybe give that I maybe give that a bit of credence because like why would you just skip a court dat that could have the ability to serve you hey you owe 12 million that seems a bit crazy um also I know that Texas cop like Texas courts in some ways could be a bit [ __ ] I think that’s where a lot of like the the uh the um copyright strike [ __ ] stems out of that so I I don’t I don’t I don’t know something gonna watch going forward I don’t think it’s also Greg Greg Hendrick so lost by default I don’t think it’s a just because you didn’t show up doesn’t mean that you automatically lost the case I think you just obviously a little bit more difficult to defend yourself well you you you don’t think though that it kind of functionally does mean you lost the case if you don’t show up a little bit like I’m not saying you know maybe not side still has to prove their point but if you can’t defend it if it’s a he said she said kind of situation and he’s the only one in court saying that this guy beat the [ __ ] out of me and these are the damages that was caused and you’re not there to say no no no it was you then yeah there’s only one side of the story told that side’s going to win um so we’ll we’ll we’ll see again I don’t even know what to make of the original incident uh because Sanders was 15 at the time and again it is a he said she said in terms of who was the aggressor um uh guys this is a real fade thank you very much you can see the sides of my head it literally Fades up okay get out of here Ain look all difference between a fade and an F booy fade there’s there’s a difference you got to fade again yeah yes that’s true that’s that is that is true but you went you you just hurdled past the F booy fade and went straight into the stolen Bor fade which I actually think is wrong I think you went have step too far really yeah not because it looks bad be because you’re you’re walking around essentially with medals on that you didn’t earn no this is more you didn’t earn no you didn’t earn that haircut I was more peaky you didn’t earn that haircut new peeky movie announced is gonna start filming so got me all Juiced up um okay never mind a lot of people in chat are saying the bankruptcy gets off your uh gets off your record in seven or eight years so I look I I I don’t [ __ ] know maybe I shouldn’t even brought this story up because I have no real great insight to add but it felt somewhat relevant to running back super bow champ I think he’s from Louisiana I’m pretty sure in high school he was already his just giant of running back and I think he went to assumption I think they went like 15 and0 two transfers from high school coming to Clemson yeah hell yeah all right so two good stories about yeah give me give me give me the story I will defend coaches because it is very difficult you are memorizing having to memorize the names of players for multiple from like freshman year on their parents their siblings and kids in the transfer portal and kids on your roster like it’s it’s a lot I get it I can barely remember you know friends Nam sometimes yeah it’s impossible it’s impossible so I remember two things from Coach Rick one we’re taking my visit to Athens and we’re sitting down on his couch his office and my mom kept looking down like what Mom why you keep looking down you Coach Rick on his hand and Sharpie had all of our names ring down on his hand because he kept looking down too like Lauren Murray Dennis Murray Josh muray not the most subtle Tac not like it’s a bit like I mean I appreciate that there was something done but that’s very like uh does he wash it off in between recruits and then the next just like taking a just hitting you over the head and then the next one which is better so Dallas Lee you know Dallas Lee and you heard played at Georgia and his brother Dylan played Alabama so Coach Rick recruited both of them so recruited Dallas who’s a starting guard for two or three seasons and then recruited Dylan Dylan had going to Alabama well anyways his mom Lisa my mom were like best friend so they would come to practices every now and then her events and coach would always call her like uh just say Monica or something like that Monica mon my mom one time was like why don’t you correct him he he’s recruited son son down the road she goes it’s just too far down yeah too far down the road and like at least he’s consistent with it Monica like at least he’s not calling me a different name every time I’m just Monica true true I mean look I kind of agree man I mean honestly would somebody that you have so little interaction with like I completely understand being like no there’s no point in fixing this it’s actually very kind of Monica or Lisa because like otherwise she’s going to confront him and then he’s going to have to sit there and like beat himself up over it instead she kind of shouldered that burden for Coach rck I think that’s very nice um I agre luck here yeah go ahead I played golf with some guy the other day and he kept ref you gotta read the comment in case people are listening on podcast because we have podcast now so people may be listen uh it’s a sales tactic to refer to someone by name and ation with them I find it very creepy but it’s a thing and yeah I played some golf with some dude the other day and really nice guy but kept saying my name I’m like dude like I know what my [ __ ] name is you don’t have to keep saying Aaron I don’t know dude I I feel because I’m horrible with names I feel um I feel great when I I think there is something very ingratiated about somebody knowing your name I think you just met especially you have a new crew or if you maybe think the person’s cool and they say your name you’re like oh [ __ ] um yeah they’re doing purpose because it’s called like forming immediate connections with humans I think it works every sentence needs to be tbop a tbop tbop tbop tbop tbop tbop like I’ll do the thing where I’ll like not know your name and I’ll hit you with a bunch of like Bros and whatnot and then at some point I’ll learn your name and all of a sudden I’ll start using your name a lot and you’ll just know that halfway through I got tipped off or I finally put together the context clues golfing is the [ __ ] best when you’re in like a group of four and you technically knows everyone name but you don’t really know who’s who because just a charity tournament that you’ve randomly teamed up with and so during the day you’re like watching the interaction between the other three guys because they know who each other are and your P okay this is Brandon okay that’s Tom okay okay now and and then slowly but surely you finally get all three names I’ll give I’ll give credit to my wife Sharon because she got she used to be so awkward with this because she didn’t know what I was doing and then I finally had to like tell her like when we go to an event and there’s going to be a bunch of people out here that I’ve met that I’m supposed to have known and know their name when I introduce you you need to ask for their name because I’m not going to introduce them by their name y yeah that’s great yeah great this is my wife Sharon and this is and she’d be like waiting for me to introduce them like no no no you need to make the introduction at that point that way kind of just resyncs in they uh that that’s like also um my wife will let me know like hey that’s our NE neighbor you don’t need to introduce yourself to that person which is good because I introduced myself to like a cousin the other day like I said I just usually say great to see you again even if I have never met y y no no I I love to I I like to say not even again I like to keep it at it great to see you yes right because it could be the first time we’re seeing each other we could be seeing each other again but I didn’t say nice to meet you and I didn’t say nice to see you again I’m hitting that completely middle ground of hey GRE to see you yeah um Dao’s just he’s is Clemson as well so it doesn’t matter um does this make you want to go to Clemson if it does then you’re Clemson material right like if nothing else I guess there is honesty in this branding because this is um because this is the Clemson vibe that dbo gives off uh brand go the bedazzled football is escalated by anger in each replay uh yeah I kind of agree if you’re a Clemson fan and you watch this you cannot feel good about the future of Clemson football when you got well they are big as [ __ ] though they are big as [ __ ] though big come on now every offensive lineman that georg’s recruited is like 66 to 69 like that’s just the way kids are nowadays uh so actually somebody in the in in the comments on the Twitter post says you live in Atlanta right why not ug Brandon Jacob says wasn’t a good fit there you go D um need come beat my ass now he lives in Atlanta this is some A&M type weirdo [ __ ] well nothing’s weirder than am actually we should play that video as well because the schedule and uh we’ll do what we did yesterday we will go down the list Aaron will you track wins and losses while we do so I I will gladly keep the count let’s just go like overview like how do you feel year two with h before you get to schedule like do you think there’s a massive jump or you just kind of bad taste in the mouth after the way last year finished off I mean you have two heartbreaking losses you go to the bll game you lose that you don’t get a quarterback in the portal Sho expect be high in year two well I think the most disappointing thing thing is despite the fact if you’re an Auburn fan despite the fact that you had I think a lot of positive momentum for Hugh frees in his first off season uh ourselves included but many people seem to think that Hugh frees was taming the Beast that is the Auburn um booster culture right everybody kind of thought oh he’s finally got things aligned everybody’s finally moving in the right direction um he had some big recruiting splashes there early on um but then you get to the season and you you what you dropped to New Mexico State uh you have Alabama on the ropes you end up losing it maybe the most heartbreaking fashion ever and wait is you fre been there two years now no just one year right yes um I’m trying to find the I’m I’m I’m trying to find the uh the record comparison of Hugh free and Brian harson oh I mean they’re both six and six after year one like pretty much the exact same thing so the question is are we right is Auburn actually moving the right direction are they improving or is this just still the Brian harson era of Auburn but with a more recognizable name I I don’t think it’s a Brian harson era I think there’s for me way more confidence in he I mean you look at the bigger games they had last season Georgia had them on the ropes obviously you brought the Alabama game you got to find a way to win those games no doubt about it oh miss to close game two I think there’s a sense of and I and I think this is right and I think this is this is a major positive that we can’t Overlook things are aligned you brought that up like but everyone that I’ve talked to from Cole cuck to other people there when I’ve covered them everyone seems to be rowing in the same direction with the previous regime it was not like that you cannot win games when your coach is battling against assistant coaches battling against the front office there’s just there’s the the donors everyone is rowing in the same direction as we know in an nil era when you have Yellowwood as your main booster and you got money and you have a coach that can can go out there and uh meet and greet and have that old boy mentality you’re going to bring in top guys you’re gonna you’re going to steer the ship in the right direction so I do think they have everything move in the right direction will it pop its head out and this team be a contender in year too I don’t think so because I don’t believe that pay Thorne is that guy but will they be better than they were last year I’ll say yes they will be better than they were last year um so here’s what I was looking for that kind of uh shows you the the the the huesing why isn’t it is it sharing was it going through are you seeing it no no no there we go um first 13 games six and seven six and seven both lost games against a group of five teams both had three double digit losses however harson you had nine wins of which you were ranked under Q uh you didn’t have any um that’s why that’s where year two matters is you have to shake off all these Brian harson comps otherwise all these Auburn people gonna all that alignment that you’re talking about is um let’s look up Brian hardson Co record uh so what’s so if the goal is to show you know Improvement the question becomes if six and seven was year One what is the level of acceptable Improvement is it eight and five with a blll win is it seven and six is it eight and four and then maybe a nine and four eight and five what what what do you what kind of 12 game regular season do you think they need to hit for fans to be happy I think we we talked about Oklahoma yesterday and the expectations there and I believe should reality be and then what expectations are from from within I think Auburn’s very similar we’ll say this about most teams in the like there’s this crazy sense of we are so and so we should be here well T Bob and I are gonna you know keep all these records together and show you that not everyone can be where you think they can be there’s just too many good teams in this league like someone has to be six and six someone’s going to be 10 two some’s not it just it just works it’s that there’s too many damn good football teams all we’re in is a good team team a good tradition a good head coach I think realistically if you can get the seven eight wins that’s a hell of a season but if you tell Auburn fans that they’re gonna say [ __ ] we need to win we need to win nine games I don’t think nine games is possible um yeah I mean no no there’s no wait wait wait you think Auburn fans think next year they should go nine and three I I think that I think I know so now it’s funny we’re on the opposite sides of the conversation from yesterday’s Oklahoma conversation right because I think Oklahoma fans are well within their rights to expect that uh given Auburn’s history though they have these very high points right on a year-to-year basis that’s not really Auburn and especially when you look at all of the turnover that they’ve suffered no I mean I think eight and four would be a resounding success for h i it would I don’t know if alurn fans believe that though if he could go eight and four then um then I think you feel very confident about freeze moving the right direction all right so let’s look at this scheduled and if we’ve established that as the kind of parameters Alabama A&M when uh Cal at home when sched can pull the schedule uh oh yeah sorry there we go all right uh Alabama A&M win yep uh Cal at home win New Mexico at home I’m gonna call it a win though we know what happened last year uh uh Arkansas at home when yep OK at home what did we pick yesterday should be a loss yes I think we chose an O win that should be a loss so we’re looking at what four and one one two three four four and one uh at Georgia loss four and two at missou loss four and three Auburn Kentucky um Au I about to say I you know me I’m not a Stoops believer I would actually take Auburn here as well take Auburn so we’re up to five and three now Vandy at home make it six and three U Monroe seven and three um A&M a go loss you they’re not gonna win that at home and Jordan hair 73 83 n make a break one right there okay so let’s say this Alabama’s obviously gonna be your four losses your fourth loss so all on here we believe that Oklahoma Georgia missou and Alabama kind of represent the for sure four losses yes so if you want to achieve that eight and4 the maker breaks are gonna be beating Kentucky on the road and A&M at home it’s not a tough schedule it’s not a tough schedule well for having Georgia yeah I mean it sucks I mean you’re and to and to Kentucky I don’t know ex actually I love it I don’t think I mean every schedule sucks this is not this is not a gauntlet um but I think 75 is duable and I think if you’re seven and five and win a bow game you’re a five I think that’s a great season I think seven and five is definitely doable it’d be a two game but but the problem is that is only a one game regular season Improvement you spent now granted Brian harson started three and five uh before he got fired but but I mean you invested a lot of money to then just improve by one game in year number two different SEC still Improvement I I think I mean it’s Improvement number improv I will say this because I I’ve covered a bunch of Auburn games a ton of Auburn games for the past three years it is way way reiterating it way healthier inside the building so you have a you have you have a slight increase wins on the field that’s a positive we’re moving the right direction and we have a overall healthier ecosystem that we’re operating in that has the potential to continue but there was no poti under no Health under har you could not grow there but the potential or the excuse me the health of the ecosystem can be ruined by onfield results like I don’t know if seven and five is going to be good enough to to keep the health of the ecosystem I think I think if you’re an Auburn fan you got to find a way to win Kentucky on the road and you got way to beat a him and you got to go eight and four yeah but I think it also depends on how those games versus Auburn or excuse me versus Alabama and Georgia look like last year you remember for the majority of the season I would it didn’t matter that you looked awesome against Alabama and should beat him all it did was end up making people more pissed off and hurt know I still think there’s a sense of like we we played two of the best teams in America to the to the end and almost and should have won one of them um either way I’m going Auburn seven and five final and and and I don’t think that’s gonna be enough to make people happy and I think they’re right uh I I I think Auburn should at least be eight and four no OU or Texas anywhere on this schedule um they have to be better than Kentucky Mark stops has never won a big game there and A&M’s down in the dumps they they if you paid so much money you should go better than 75 but I think I got seven and five I agree um Shephard duck says I’m taking USC money line over LSU Bob Forever 21 Moss coming for that neck look bro I I no chance I I’m not I’m staying completely away from that Alabama or they’re gonna lose to Texas yeah um okay so the loss for now uh then you got at vanderville win home against South Carolina win at Tennessee that’s GNA be a good game good game let’s do our guaranteed wins first one two okay so one two three to start yep four on Bandy five on South Carolina guaranteed win over missou at home that’ll be six six El in the road let’s not make a call yet uh eight for Mercer let’s Auto yes okay so nine over Oklahoma and I’ll give them we gave him a loss against I’ll give him the automatic win at home against Sovereign so let’s say we so so are we saying we pretty much see 10 auto wins here so no nine because we said Georgia Tennessee elos are the big ones for them those are the three yeah yeah yeah so nine nine wins I mean Missour is gonna be a great game but I would say being in Tuscaloosa they’re not going to lose multiple games in Tuscaloosa in a season so I give that um I think be I’m giving them the missou win at home for sure yes 6969 it’s not an auto win I get that but like if we had a pick I’m leaning more to them winning that game than say them beating Georgia or them beating Tennessee then you also have Bama going 11- one they’re going to beat LSU on the road which traditionally they actually dominate Death Valley for whatever that’s worth even they lost two years ago so you’re St B goes 11 And1 they beat LSU on the road they only dropped to Georgia at home in t toown Georgia goes 111 because they Texas I think they I think Tennessee has a chance let’s just say Alabama goes 10 and two they’ll drop they’ll drop one more of those those games out of Tennessee LSU Tennessee Georgia they’ll drop two of the three yeah on the road to Tennessee on the road to LSU at home versus Georgia y so Georgia yes then lose one of the Tennessee or LSU yeah it is interesting because I wonder if it’s more likely they would win two of three than lose two of three but I guess we’re just going to knock him for the Nick saving effect but earliest that they would be out the playoffs yeah which still ah I don’t know that doesn’t feel very realistic because I think they get either Tennessee or Georgia um I think Alabama’s gonna be just
