intro I said to myself I cannot start the Vlog without talking about what’s about to happen cuz it just feels out of place let’s get into it so welcome to the weekly Vlog y’all this week we are celebrating our friends y’all know when we were planning I told y’all we had a friend date coming up so we’re going to do our friend date my lovey is coming home this week I haven’t really talked about it much but we have been very much in a sewing season um within the first two quarters and the sewing season is slowly coming to an end which I’m so happy about um hopefully we can talk more about what we’re sewing into soon and very soon but yeah so we are hanging with friends hanging with Bae and then oh my gosh y’all the Vlog gets a little bit chaotic it does get a little bit chaotic and a Leah Vlog will always have a little bit of Chaos in it because it’s real life okay it’s real life but do y’all like my hair I was looking in the mirror and I was like I don’t know if I like it but looking on the camera I think I like it y’all get more details about the hair in the June Vlog okay we still in mat on this one right here so any who y’all I’m going to go ahead and roll over to the next clips we are about to celebrate my girl triana’s birthday clip that got deleted I told my girl happy happy birthday so I’m going say it again happy birthday Trana I can’t wait to celebrate right so you’re going to stand like a flamingo leg Wing up and you’re going to get it’s your birthday right all right y’all I escaped to the karaoke room this place is so freaking nice it says get ready to kick put and they got costumes over here so they are out there playing games but this was like deep perfect birthday SP y’all everybody having so much fun we paid for um a course nobody’s playing the course they’re playing the games that the people play so if you’re in Houston come to Holy Moly celebrate a birthday celebrate a date night it’s a Vibe I love it here I’m going have to come I’m going have to bring M here even though y’all know I got to pick him up from the airport in like 2 hours oh no baby go with [Music] it it’s just different we can take it oh my girl get the basics W he’s a [Music] all right y’all we are back in the car the night is over people are still coming out and I love that for them I know y’all probably couldn’t hear me really good in this inside the place but y’all this place is so freaking cute so holy moly has been open for about 2 weeks fairly new inside and it is attached to a movie cinema if you have ever been to Andre’s holy moly reminds you a lot of andred put check and all of the places so they have the different stations with things and I just think it’s so freaking cute food 10 out of 10 drinks 10 out of 10 hopefully they stay that way because honestly everything was good I did pay for golfing and I ended up not golfing waste of money so I spent probably like $75 today honestly and they don’t even include gas girl cuz I had the gas up today and the place where I went for gas was like $50 all because my daddy told me to stop getting Sam’s Club gas but once again I’m going say happy birthday to my girl Trey she got us out on a good Tuesday last time we had a girls day out was in March so we got our May girls day out out of the way all right y’all clearly we are at home putting footage off of one memory card and the camera y’all Mar said he did not want to wait on me cuz it was going to take me 30 minutes to get to the airport so since he didn’t want to wait he ordered an Uber you know how it can be when it’s time when you just ready to go home you don’t want to do no waiting that’s why I drive to the airport I don’t Uber or none of that baby I’m going to drive I’m sure he paid $60 we went to Italy for like 12 days and our parking ticket for that amount of time was not even $100 I drive to the airport every time y’all Mar is home and Rocco have not left yeah it’s been 5 weeks since he saw you it’s been a long five weeks 5 days it’s been 35 days guys so I will talk to yall in the morning off in the Deep like usual [ __ ] swear they pass us they doing too much hey y’all happy Thursday we just finished our workout of the day we burned 386 calories in 42 minutes um today was a leg day I did do a grow with Joe workout I will pop the workout up on the screen I think I told yall we are doing her 5 day challenge so yeah y’all yesterday a Flo came to town sorry I’m trying to find a vlog to watch while I work today and that’s what that noise is but yeah a FL came to town yesterday y’all and she beat me up so bad the heating pad is still on the couch I was on the couch for a good 3 4 hours two of those hours I was taking a nap then my parents called me and we were talking on the phone and while I was on the phone with them I had the heating pad rested on my stomach girl why when I took the heating pad off which was probably like 30 minutes after I hung up from them my stomach started itching so I scratched my stomach why my skin came off and so I was doing some research it’s kind of like I have a third degree burn it’s really really tiny so I think it’s going to heal just fine but yeah I got a 3D burn on my stomach y’all leg okay leg GTO it’s very very very ghetto a little bit later today I’m going to happy hour with Aaron my assistant she’s a popular food blogger here in Houston so I’m really excited that we are going to happy hour together U we were kind of talking about what we were going to wear cuz like I said she’s a real popular food blogger so she is definitely going to be posting this to her popular page and I don’t know if she going to have like her guest in the Vlog cuz sometimes she does not the Vlog the video sometimes she shows her guest sometimes she just shows the food and stuff but she still wants us to dress up and look cute so she’s going to be wearing a dress um the weather is real gloomy I can still wear a dress especially if it doesn’t rain but I am more so of a set girl so I might try to find a cute spring set to put on and just call it a day I kind of know which set I want to wear it’s just that I got to find it hey y’all so I got the camera in a weird position because I’m not quite away from near my apartment yet but I just had to get on a vlog to say something is wrong with my freaking phone um it’s saying that I can’t use the phone cellular data until I update the phone I have never in my life heard an OBS like that never has that ever happened to me before so I’m just out here with no service like it just happened after I left my um my client then the outlets in the bathrooms at my apartment are not working I had to curl my hair in the living room charge my phone in the living room stuff that I normally do in the bathroom I had to do it in the living room okay I’m going to make it there 10 minutes before we supposed to be sitting down eating so hopefully she’s already there so that by the time I get there um I can just say who I’m here to see and they can leave me to the table because I can’t text her she can’t text me it’s just weird and I hope they have service because before I walked out of my apartment I was on FaceTime with my mom who’s at my little cousin’s graduation I think he’s about to go to fifth or sixth grade I can’t remember um and they’re actually wearing caps and gowns y’all so super cute we are headed to friends I went to friends with my our Honeys in October or September I did bring yall with me on the Vlog so y’all did get to see that but we’re going again this time as I said we’re going with the food blogger so I’m excited to see what the experience is like she’s been asking me my preferences all day so I told her I was like girl please do not make your uh decisions based off of my preference because you have to get content whatever I want I can order so that’s what’s probably going to happen um cuz I don’t eat beef I don’t eat pork she does not have any food restrictions so what do I look like telling her what not to get you know what I’m saying this ain’t for me this is not about me so girl get what you want I snacked before I left home and I’m sure they’ll have something with chicken something with veggies that I can eat on and then by the time we leave I’ll just go home and eat my stuff bell pepper and be happy it’s not thaty what as deep as this freaking cellular service that’s what’s deep child I digress my tax y we are pulling up trying to connect to Wi-Fi somewhere this is really freaking ghetto and dangerous like I had to use I had to get out of my car walk into my apartment or near my apartment cuz I didn’t go in connect the Wi-Fi to put the address in the GPS because I didn’t know exactly which exit to take like I knew what area of the city it was in but I didn’t know what exit to take I’m 1 minute away still 10 minutes before seating time so hopefully I can get a park right in front because it has started raining got my umbrella here they blowing at me but F to cause people to read be for real this traffic is a mess and why is a bus trying to turn down here I hope my friend don’t think I’m not coming because I’m here I just ain’t got no way to text my girl no y’all I am leaving hold on I’m leaving so because my phone was not working I couldn’t get none of her calls none of her text cuz on her side of town apparently there’s a tornado or something that is going on right now I don’t know but as soon as I got to the restaurant it’s lighting really bad as soon as I got to the restaurant and connected to their Wi-Fi all my Miss calls and text messages and everything start coming through and apparently we’re on the tornado watch y’all as soon as I step foot inside the restaurant the winds start blowing the girl said the winds are supposed to get up to 90 m hour what I witnessed had to be at least 50 mph I sat in the restaurant their freaking lights went out their lights went out at the restaurant um so I I tried to text my friend to let her know like girl the the lights are out at the restaurant cuz she was saying she moved the reservation back to 7 but I’m not going to be able to go I don’t think she going to be able to go I hope she’s not leaving her place cuz she didn’t even leave home remember I told y I left home I had to go back into my near my apartment to get Wi-Fi for the directions um but her text messages didn’t come through for me then so I missed everything but I really hope she don’t leave out of her place cuz I am soaked right now I’m like super soaking wet right now when I tell y all these cars are at the gas station like that’s how hard like cars are literally parked in areas where the wind won’t affect them but I will say the wind has completely stopped that’s when I made the Sound Decision like hey we we leaving like I can’t afford to be stuck at this restaurant I don’t have no service if I had service it would be different but I don’t have no service so it’s best for me to try to get in this weather and go home M blowing my phone up I mean y’all as soon as I got near some service I think it’s a sign down or something oh my God it’s it’s [Music] flooding what is happening Lord please don’t let me damage my car y’all look I think I’m in the clear yeah cuz I a even go through no lot of water oh my God these people in the HOV lane are stopped one of the girls who was at the restaurant was like let’s take the feter road home the feter road is floody well where I was at it was flooded oh my God I hope these people are okay cuz what I witness with the weather honey will take a car and and and put the car somewhere else people sitting in their car with the car off oh my God y’all this weather this is bananas like never have I ever seen anything like this before ever ever ever not going to lie I feel stranded okay I am not far from home it’s giving I’m going to get out and walk in this weather [Applause] there cuz I’m not going to ruin my car like my car was already beeping cuz you know you can’t drive through oh my God I’m starting to shake you can’t drive through water like if you have a car you going to ruin your freaking car so I done found a parking garage a parking lot but it seemed like the parking lot is getting full so I’m trying to find the highest area and I’m about to have to walk home like it’s no other way um the weather is supposed to be getting bad supposed to be getting worse and it’s it’s literally somebody at the top of my street like a person saying no no don’t don’t drive your car down here so it’s no way I’m I’m literally stuck in a parking lot I’m about to get out and walk okay I ain’t got no other shoes in this car if I get sick I just get sick I’m more worried about my safety cuz it’s going to get dark in like 30 minutes and it might take me 10 or 15 minutes to get home my people probably worried about me they probably calling me they can’t call me because I don’t have no service we F to go we are home I don’t know if y can tell but I am drenched I’m drying off now my butt is completely drenched y’all I cannot I believe life today like I am completely drenched I’m going try to pop up some pictures of all of the water I know about four or five maybe even six different routes to get to my place so I I tried two routes they were both flooded so I just decided to get as close to my apartment as I could and I walked home so my car is still parked there we’re about to go get it now the roads have receded um apparently there was a tornado I don’t know if I’ve said this but I’ll say it again the winds were really high after I walked into the restaurant so I’m just really thankful that I got to the restaurant and inside before the wind started because signs were knocked over I’m going to try to pop up a picture of a sign that I drove by that fell um it was just really bad this was a really crazy crazy experience um my phone is still not working I’m trying to update it but it stuck it stuck on the update screen talking about verifying update it’s just stuck I might have to go to at a1t in the morning to see what the deal is because like I said before I never ever heard of your phone not working because you haven’t updated I’m like one update behind so it just don’t make sense to me it’s still not working back to my baby come on baby girl crank up for Mama ohoo Lord thank you I’m so glad Marin is at home y’all know the last natur natural disaster that we had he wasn’t here and I was freaking out so I had CU fight a flight definitely kicked in I don’t know I think I I fought I fought through it as much as I could and baby then I had to flee cuz who going to be can look how dark it is can y’all imagine me just now being able to leave the parking lot to get home and if I would have had service I would have been good but imagine not having no cellular service nobody can call you nobody can text you and you stranded imagine that I had to leave baby F the flight kicked in completely this girl walking to go get her car too and this tow trucks over here so I came in a ni of time cars are literally stranded anywhere y’all like this is really bananas bro oh and my phone’s still not working just in case y’all wanted to know it’s still not working and I just feel like this supports me getting a SUV oh my God I didn’t know a tree fell trees have fallen oh my God yeah so I think this supports me getting a SUV even more like I want a SUV I’m really like a country girl who could use a truck baby give me a Denali a something because this I would have powered through that water po puddle and my Denali y’all you really got the Laugh to Keep from Crying to be honest to be honest hey y’all happy Friday um I did not check back in with y’all since yesterday but I got my car back last night oh I think I did show yall that part but still phone is still not working I am currently leaving the AT&T store right now and um they were not able to fix my phone so they just made me an appointment with Apple so he told me um if anything Apple will be giving me a new phone today so I’m okay with that I just need my phone to be working um I took my iPad with me and I’m glad I did because you know when you reset your phone um and even when you make an apple appointment you have to have access to your phone or you got to have access to a device that can give you the code that will be sent so I’m glad I took that cuz I don’t know if the Apple watch could do that but anyway we’re on the way to Apple I have one notch on this battery so I’m going to try to charge it up to the best of my ability um the guy AT&T he could tell that I was apprehensive because he first asked me did I want to go to Apple and I was like not really like I didn’t have time I didn’t have time or energy today to have a p attitude because I’m ready to go back home I have not eaten anything since earlier but honestly that’s not priority right now I can eat once I get this phone situation together because I don’t have service I can’t even use my GPS um but luckily like the area that I stay in and even not the area that I live in like I’m pretty familiar with Houston now when you take me downtown things will get a little sketchy but anything outside of downtown as long as as long as it’s within the city of Houston whether it be South West Slightly North um I’m good to navigate so when he told me which Apple Store to go to I was like okay I can get there without my GPS and if he would have given me another store like uh in the mall not the Galleria but the Memorial City Mall I would have been able to get there so learn them routs girls I know as girls sometimes we just be like I’m just a girl and my phone can do everything but my dad has always been a person like you need to learn to do stuff without your phone you need to learn about your car he really instilled that with that me so I do be in the city I be outside in the city so I’m familiar with routes to different places so anyway I’m just running my mouth y’all I’ll call y’all when we get to Apple this is what the phone is saying the guy at the AT&T store tried to update it but it didn’t work of course literally no look AT&T I mean Apple couldn’t fix it well no let me not lie they could fix it but it’s $600 so at that rate I’ll be paying $600 for the same phone but I could possibly upgrade my phone and just get a whole new phone um for $600 cuz I think I owe like $400 more on my phone but see the thing is like I don’t just be getting no phone with the lowest data what is it called lowest storage I get 500 gabes at minimum because I do a lot on my phone I have a lot of uh pictures and videos on my phone so that’s why I always have my phone for a long time because it’s no point of just going to get new phone after new phone when I have the highest gigabyte like all these phones do the same thing but I’m not going to pay $600 to get this phone fixed and it’s iPhone 13 like let’s be serious but right now I’m waiting on the train to pass I don’t even know if I’m going to be able to make it to the AT&T before they close at 7:00 it is 6:33 I said I would sit right here until 6:40 and hopefully the train will be p by then because either way like if I back up and try to go a different way I still have to pass the train track so it’s no way that I can avoid it unless I go to a different AT&T but I don’t even know I can’t access GPS so $1,000 later here we are oh Mar probably going to be mad because he got a little phone I thought the dude was giving us a Max ooh I can’t even call and tell them but yeah $11,000 later here we are MK can probably bring it back if you want to get a bigger one though I don’t think he care that much but of course he can’t see me getting anything new he been wanting a new phone cuz I think his phone is kind of messed up anyway but yeah the AT&T guy told me that if I get this phone fixed and I come back and return it it will be uh $11,000 off of my current phone so we’ll see if we can do that he said I have 30 days to do so but of course this means that our phone bill is going to increase now that we both have new phones so y’all this is really crazy it’s back lightning and stuff so I’m about to grab us some Chick-fil-A and then um I’m going to go home but this is just so crazy cuz y’all remember just in December my car the uh water pump went out of my car and we had to pay $1,200 or $1,400 but you know that was unexpected but that’s why I really preach and preach and preach about having like emergency savings and just having extra money for things like that this is why I budget because life be throwing curve balls like unexpected unwanted curve balls and you absolutely have to have a savings for your car you have to or you going to be in a predicament like me thank God you know my family and my husband helped me out with the car situation and then M just helped me with the phone situation so thank God for husbands but still you know ladies if you don’t have a husband you still want to have have a savings account you would like to be the type of person that cash stuff like have your money saved up for different things do that or have a um have separate accounts you know have an account for your car have an account for travel and then have your savings account with your emergency funds and stuff because over the past 6 months we are out of $2,000 that could have still been in our accounts for other things you know what I’m saying and this don’t even account for the taxes that I have to pay We Were Me and Mar was just talking about the plan that we going to make to start paying on my taxes but then now we out of $1,000 that could have been used towards my taxes tomato tomato BS bull okay yeah I had to I had to plug up the camera but oh my God I need to go home the lights just blink at Chick-fil-A and before I could leave my was saying that the lights were blinking at the apartment what is going on Houston Houston we got a problem we really do we have a problem AT&T Apple we got a problem Uncle Sam we got a problem because why y’all want my hard earn money I think these folks going tell us we can’t order I got to leave Chick-fil-A power just went out is he going to reverse I’m not sure let me ask okay okay why is this happening to my life girl what booy side devil get up me if I had my phone I’ll be bumping it right now devil get up off man devil get up off are of course is Marin’s favorite spot y probably can’t see it but we are at Turkey Le H he got a Cajun Bowl but instead of having salmon he got fried Beach I got a turkey burger y’all I hope they got it plain and dry hey y’all happy Saturday we are up out and about Mar got the car cleaned and washed earlier this morning he brought some breakfast and now now we are on the way to AT&T because like I told y yesterday that man gave me the wrong phone so he about to return the phone let me see this it right here so this is the phone compared to mine he got the pro and I got the pro so they gave us the wrong one I thought the man was looking at the um at our profile and just giving us the same thing how you switch your face like that you set it up like that don’t be trying to have me as your screen saver baby the one we sitting down is my favorite oh no that one cute I forgot all about that picture some of the lights are still out um in our area and my friend still got no electricity it’s going on 2 days without electricity for some people so I really hope they come back with some electricity I got my head on today y’all cuz I just really don’t feel like dealing with no lace I’m honestly wanting to get some facks but the last time I got facks my scalp was very irritated like it was itchy it was red come found out I was allergic to the hair so I don’t know it’s kind of like I want to do it and maybe just ask the girl if she can soak the hair prior to or something like that cuz I’m tired of trying to figure out what what I’m going to do with my hair but yeah we about to head the AT&T and then where we going go pick on my Mone think go get some crackers the S tax just 16 bucks 50 more y’all I thought I was going to have to get over here e a food babe you like was trying to charge us the extra fee for um [Applause] um what did she say a extra fee for a restock fee this ain’t even what I asked for y’all know how people get when it’s close to closing they they just give you whatever cuz there’s no way I would have left with two pro well one pro Max and one pro when that’s not what we had in the first place and the girl was over there rolling her eyes baby I was like no that’s not what I asked for and and the man in there um lied and said that’s what I call and ask for I didn’t even call I couldn’t I didn’t have access to a phone to call I was in store and that lady knew that that’s why she went ahead and waved it cuz she knew I was sitting there right across from her she’s a store manager and yes I will be writing a review thank you for waving my fee however I don’t like your attitude what’s up y’all we in and out I just got some crack and we just got a burger who is we oh me she got fries all right y here’s the food I got fries babe got fries he also got this juicy sandwich these fries I don’t know they look questionable they gave us like four kets is your burger dry we definitely could have ate out of one fry box I really don’t like these fries you tasted them they just okay [Music] so as y’all can see we are back at AT&T because my lovey has to get his phone honestly this location is not the best location like I’m honestly going to leave a review on yel as well as Google reviews because no matter if it’s one person in there as far as like customers go or three or four they just take their precious little time he is in there to just get his phone they were doing a transfer from his new phone to his new phone so I don’t understand why he’s been in there for as long as he has and he’s only picking up a phone after this I think M wants to go by one of his friends house and of course he dragging me along so I’m I’mma go um he got to pick up some type of game or something so I’mma go tag along sit in the house I mean sit in the car and then we going to go home and chill y’all so I’m sorry if this Vlog is kind of all over the place but not much is really going on sometimes it just be like that it just be like that sometimes hang up on you not in the mood what my Tik Tock girl is at hang up on you not in the mood sometimes you don’t be in the mood hey girls it has been a couple of days since I have checked in with y’all I did not bring y’all on anything else that Marin and I have done but what else is new I try my best to bring y’all along but truth of the matter is girl sometimes when I be having a good time the camera gets left but y’all yesterday I just had a revelation for the month of May um I put in my Community tab that balance was like my top priority and when I say balance I mean just balancing out all of the areas in my life um maybe two Vlogs ago I posted about all of the hats that I wear all of the responsibilities that I have to do all of the roles that I have to take on within a week’s time I’ve really been focusing on balancing myself within these specific roles and I must say say I have been doing good I’ve also been taking my vitamins so I don’t want to speak too soon but I have been up I’ve been alert when I need to be alert and I’ve been going to sleep when I need to go to sleep getting a proper amount of rest and I can feel a difference yesterday I was just up I didn’t need a nap I ain’t stay up till 2: 300 a.m. like it was just like wow you have been putting forth conscience effort to make sure that you are taking care of yourself and it’s it’s paying off so I just wanted to share that with y’all but yeah y’all things have been good okay but I kind of want to get the next Vlog started because I feel like this Vlog is going to be kind of a drag so I don’t want to keep dragging it along so with that I will say thank you so much for
