these guys are ridiculous these guys are [Music] ridiculous now how about them damn Celtics and we are back with another how about them Celtics video samai here recording Friday February 23rd and we’re talking about everybody’s favorite third string big man Luke cornette uh we’re talking about Mr Luke today uh because luk had a big game last night against the Bulls 10 points four rebounds made sure uh to make an impact and once he did make that impact he let everybody know uh I wrote about it today for Celtics blog luk cornette super cool putback Slam in the fourth quarter and as soon as he did he hit the what he dubs the spaz dab SP so uh this this was Luke cornette after his super cool dunk um against the Bulls on Thursday night uh rebound dunk running back down the court court and then just boom hits all the DB Just Hits him with it and after the game he said I believe it’s uh referred to as the spaz dab is from mid like middle schoolers from like six years ago I think it was big then now I wrote about it and you’re were close Luke it was actually 10 years ago it was in 2014 when the dab was quote it was 10 years yeah the Migos brought it out at a concert in Springfield Mass in 2014 oh my gosh long time ago we’re old and Luke uh his explanation tracks because he goes I’m not on Tik Tok or any other social media so I guess that’s why my Social Media stuff is from six years ago again 10 years ago but uh I guess dabbing was the last time Luke was present on socials and so that’s why he broke it out against the Bulls I’m like in disbelief I can’t believe that was 10 years ago 10 years ago is nuts this is like a big I mean we we had like the chat about like the as your life goes on things get go by quicker like this is a big time morality moment for me I’m just sitting here like oh my God it’s tough that was not 10 years ago 10 years ago man well 10 years ago is when it started so maybe more like eight years ago but it was at least eight years ago um but no it was 10 years ago uh that said we do have some lot cornet moments so Sam found this on Reddit called cornhub a collection of Luke’s corniest moments of his career figured we could take a look at all them I’ve opened all the tabs do power ranking check in on Mr Luke uh first one here is April of last year Luke opened his bag and then found himself inside it caught a lob from JD open the bag oh it’s me he’s in his bag he’s in his bag I love how his bag is just catching an alley a foot from the rim like way deep in his bag it’s because somebody pulled out some crazy dribble move not because somebody did an alley hoop I had a buddy text me yesterday after the first um Tatum to Luke elingo that Luke slam might be the most athletic thing I’ve ever seen him do so uh people are all in on L he was in great positions yesterday throughout the game he looked great he was good it was very good uh big fan of the bag though big fan of the bag uh oh my God Sam did you look at the links no second link it’s me oh look at that my tweet ice in is vain uh Luke hits both free throws uh I remember this one earlier this season hits both ice in his veins runs into the bench Lov my favorite thing about this is how excited Tatum gets look at him he he’s he’s pumped did you hear what Tatum said about Luke last night no what did he say he did the generic like he’s the ultimate teammate professional talked about how he’s always prepared knows the game plan but then he just goes he might be like the funniest guy on our team he keeps everybody’s Spirits eye so I think we got a well balanced team of different personalities and different guys and Luke’s an important part of our team so they love Luke uh they they everyone loves Luke basically who wouldn’t look at him I mean the guy is hysterical like Tatum says he’s full of Good Vibes like he’s everything you would want out of a teammate in the NBA especially when you’re doing something as stressful as pretty much going through a championship or bus season yeah so which was better ice in the veins or the bag the bag the bag I like the bag where do you rank the dab although this context the well do do we want to count the context of this everybody else was thr yeah also notice my shoty camera work you can just see my room on the left side of the screen for half a second I missed the TV um oh actually I think dab is my least favorite so far I would uh da is least favorite so it goes B ice dab or no I think I’m torn between the free throw uh ice and the bag I don’t know what do you think I like the bag the best because it was the most creative i’ never seen somebody literally look to go in their bag yeah okay we’ll go bag ice then dab um okay I have a running list in the okay I was gonna say someone someone should write this down we done okay perfect uh next one is cornette block on embiid uh some a year ago let’s see I think I was at this game Let’s Take a Look got his ass he he got him too he just does a high five that’s it no oh wait never mind oh there he is yeah yeah he did a little fist pump after though he he did hit a little like this one lowkey might be my favorite because of like the magnitude of the play he just made he like yeah no I don’t think this is better than the bag I don’t even know if it’s it might be better than the free throws I think it’s around on par all right I’ll put it third then yeah it’s just not as funny like are we ranking on funny or importance because I’m ranking on like cornet like mean kind of funny they yeah afterward is pretty sick too though but yeah I don’t know I think third or fourth is is probably right okay Stone Face block and dab yeah yeah yeah okay um next up is this is an old one this is a three minute thing we don’t have to watch the whole thing but this is a him and Mitchell Robinson juggling this is this is back to my every NBA player can juggle thing though because they have to have the hand eye to be able to dribble real well well okay wait wait wait where’s Luke wait the title of the video is Best Friends Day Day shout out to am and Dodson former Celtic right no he was here for like a couple games I think Damen Dawson no way I think he was like a two-way got think it’s someone else kadim Allen was a Celtic yes but n Damen doson was never Celtic he never played in the game for Celtics and he never suited up you think kelen disrespectfully to the um Luke cornette takeover on views from the rafters absolutely this is all time that Luke just took over the podcast to interview Brad stens that is funny I I remember there being a bunch of funny quotes from this but um it’s good to be here I thought we were already done after we were this I have S prior oh that’s very weird then yeah no I official announcement I’m new Happy Birthday apple pie might be three that’s up there apple pie for the birthday is interesting that’s uh special stuff again middle of the pack though I don’t think it the bag is still like you like the bag do you like it better the bag is so good no the ice is also too good okay I I kind of I think apple pie is the most bizarre thing for a birthday it’s up there it’s very weird no cake is is interesting it’s got to be like three or four then like around the the spaz put it above the block the block yeah okay I like that um next thing we got is another dab apparently he’s just a big fan this is just the last time that he was on this is probably the only thing he knows how I do oh no this is this is oh yeah this is the same thing okay yeah so where did we put the dab dab is five the a great [ __ ] character and then the last one is best part about Luke’s ugly 40 number is that he actually chose nine but his jersey wasn’t ready in time so they said they switched when they got back to Boston they forgot and Luke doesn’t want to say something and make someone feel bad that’s Luke Fran for that is great he actually wanted that imagine d white wasn’t we nine imagine they just gave it to Luke yeah Derek white would have no choice but to be 40 probably just four yeah yeah yeah and then Dr would have taken something else that’s all time uh miked up is Far and Away number one like is he’s truly like the be funniest character on this team I think genuinely he’s he’s definitely up there yeah I think so I don’t think there’s much competition he’s just that’s his whole personality is pretty much being a meme just leans all the way in I saw balls are cooked yeah at Williams surgery hey another example of day after you play Celtics your season’s screwed he didn’t play has played you’re the only guy who has not bought into the game of I card get the [ __ ] over here Luke just goes preschool’s expensive man and then he finally comes over and puts it in at after they bully him
