Cody Blick a corn faery player looking to get to the PGA Tour talks about how he requires accurate launch monitor metrics to dial in his wedge distances when it comes to scoring wedges are it now you need to have all the shots you need to know how far it’s going to carry for all your wedges you got to know how to control trajectory spin and all that generally comes from angle of attack the steeper you get the further the ball’s going to go lower it’s going to launch the more spin you’re going to have Vice verse so the shallower you get the higher it’s going to launch the spin’s going to drop so I like to dial in my wedges and my wedge distances feeling trajectory now you can feel the interaction on the fiberbuilt mat and how it feels like Turf yet there’s very low impact on your body so if I have a 54 here if I want to hit a 95 yard shot let’s say to a back flag and I want to skip it in there I can feel angle of attack down get that launch angle somewhere in the mid to high 20s and the spin should be just over 10 so we launched it at 20238 so we got in the mid-20s we flew at 972 10,700 spins so that is going to skip back to our back flag dialed it in on the fiberbuilt mat now conversely if we have a front flag we want to launch it a little higher land it softer and still keep this a similar spin we can get shallow launch it maybe somewhere just above 30 30 to 33 and we should have similar Spin and fly at 95 so we flew it exactly at 30° launch spun at 107 carried 95.1 dialed in on the fiberbuilt mat and we’re going to bring it out to the golf course [Music]
