some of the heroics of lanaa strum the Swede who began the day tied for last place but got it going quickly and this at nine yeah just from that first cutter R but judged that release perfectly she competing against directly there’s no easing into this you you know what your target is you know what you have to do and that was always going to be tough at the 11th player who just won on the ladies European tour in the drer ladies open she played on the same go course at the amundi Ean championship and it’s very close to home for her she grew up parents live just on the other side of Lake Geneva I look for it to one bounce and it should spin to get to that top level get it up there on that upper level if she can that was not our best now just 90 yards see if she can flight this down just a back yeah that one should be pretty good yeah lovely shot has always been a very good ball Striker short second shot for a tire titon at 12 and really created a great angle to to get this one a go yards and based on food away shots in these Atlant is just short one bounce and see if she can hold it trying to cut it in there maybe K this a player who is going to be Fearless coming down the stretch knows she can win on the LPGA proven winner player who’s been at the top of the world rankings step Kaku 1 she had a tough start to the day and she made uh a six at the eighth but has bounced back nice with three birdies since then she gives herself another chance there K away at 12 for [Applause] par Morgan mro at 14 five back with five holes to play that is a good start kyaku for the birdie yeah continues this good run Morgan metro to get one of those shots back that she lost yeah nice yeah food away was not quite to a ball this is from 16 before and she’s flighted that down nicely it’s playing about 15 yards more yeah it’s a good shot there they’d all take that that was a four hybrid it’s out to the right trying to draw back oh what a shot that is very good indeed wow she’ll have that to get with her in one save in the end [Applause] there and they are getting chase at 13 Tom just Bo away for a bir this is really important closest Challenger right now Megan Kang is over at the short 12 a lot of holes are short here it’s the shortest course on tour under 6,000 yards day in 15 or keyholes you may birdie at the last one but this coming out of the rough 133 is always tough to judge if she lands it on the green it could release and go past but it’s straight down a big wind like she tried to ease into that one a little bit 12 under and within two but you’re right she did have to come back things were slipping away from her but she got it together she’s quite the competitor Morgan metro at the 16th front hole location this is not the player from Switzerland we were expecting to yeah if I wanted someone to put this one it would be her just inside that left is in firm [Applause] as we go to 13 Megan K second yeah as you suspected it is going to be a chip for titun might need to make it came out very well what a shot that is what a shot that is from Foodway into the KPMG women’s PGA regardless of what happens now k for birdie at 13 okay she moves to within one yeah wow this is quite the performance over at the 14th Jong-un Lee six won the US Open in 2019 came here the next week had the lead going into the final round but like historically happens here injured at the beginning of the Season only her fifth start on the LPGA Tour but she’s really coming into some good form could be a lucrative summer for tiun yeah 129 back at the hole T needs to hold this oh that had to have looked good Karen 15 Megan K only one back oh this could get down towards the hall that is so good one of the best we seen at just the right time for Megan Kang should be a three for food away but she’s going to need to Birdie the last she’s not the longest hitter on the LPGA to far from it but the t’s been moved up Tom yeah I think that’ll make a big difference oh if You’ have told her when the day started when the morning M broke that she was going to shoot six under I think she might have thought pretty good maybe might have a chance to win I mean I thought 12 would be a would be a good number and then strong just uh kind of knocked that number out got it and we have a tie at the top 14 under par Megan Kang has a really good chance to win this third shot for Kang at the par 46 oh that was a great attempt out fluffy it’s going to break her out of the big pack tied the 25th Yi who nearly won the Evan Championship as a teenager back in 2021 still just 22 years old she read it to break left and that did not move and in fact just wiggled right at the last minute [Applause] pitch punt Bo away remarkable consistency Karen but another opportunity missed to win for iaka interesting look where the T is aiming T’s aiming all the way to the right side of the green You’ got to hit this all the way to the left it’s only yielded 11 birdies today back at the 17th and Megan K trying to give it a go trying to chip it in good try yeah we’ve seen this part it’s a little bit slow and goes to the right she just saw Megan Kang’s chip so she knows exactly what it’s [Music] doing that’s h she will also remain in the tie for seventh Megan K will have that short par put okay one back one to play well and that’s you know this is crucial for her to to finish as high as she can and it’s a shame that she wasn’t able to to get it together a little bit better today but it’s an unusual kind of stress that that seeing somebody uh post a really low number puts on a plate so Kang has to make this or Lana Dr makes history as the biggest comeback in LPGA [Music] [Applause] history close but not enough the biggest comeback in terms of tournament positioning in LPGA history L St whing she with with a closing birdie and the players know that before they’ve even teed off and then when you go ahead and put a low number on the board like STM did setting the target the players knew they had to reach that Target knowing that the conditions are going to be tough too high to climb when you set that kind of a Target it’s uh you know Megan as I said that was a valiant effort to end on closing birdie
