in this video I’ll showare you the five best golf range funners from this year and if you’re on a budget don’t worry they’re across a range of prices and all under $300 and if you stick around to the end I’ll share with you some exclusive discount codes to help you save even more money if you’re looking for a rangefinder and I’ve taken all of these devices onto the course and put them through their Paces so that I can give you my honest opinion on which one would be best for your game so first on the list well number five is the MC pf-1 Rangefinder this is an excellent Rangefinder to off it’s nice and compact much smaller than other devices but what I really liked about it was that even though it’s small it’s got a large eyepiece which makes it easy to see through to get a distance and a reading the styling of this device looks very smart has a really premium looking silver marble effect to it and I love the Chrome MC logo it will definitely turn heads if you’re using this device on the course it’s USB charging and lasted a long time in between charges when I tested it out I was impressed with the clarity through the display and it has six times magnification with a flag lock function that vibrates from up to 400 yards away and when I tested out the course with my V5 GPS watch I found it highly accurate and very consistent with the readings that it returned so I know what you’re saying if it’s so good Craig why is it only number five on your list well if I’m being hypercritical of this device I would have liked a clip added at the top of the carry case so I don’t need to zip it up each time also it’s got no magnet on the side which seems to be quite common now and I would have preferred a switch to turn the slope on and off rather than having to navigate through the mode menu on the display and finally at just under $300 it’s not the cheapest on the list but maybe I’m just being picky so because of this it only makes number five but it’s still a great budy has some amazing devices such as the a W12 GPS watch and this range funer which is an upgrade of the very popular laser light currently priced at $160 or £130 is a great price when I tested it out in the course I found it really easy to use and very accurate first up the carry case looks good it’s simple with no frills and I like its style and it’s secured by a strong velcro strap and with the clip it can hang on your bag or you can attach it to your belt inside the box you can see they’ve put real care and attention into the styling of this rang finer with non-slip rubber at the top and bottom to help your grip the raise logo on the side also gives it a premium feel it’s battery operated which might not be for everyone but I prefer this as I often forget to charge my devices before going out to play I find One battery generally lasts around 6 months if you play twice a week to keep it simple there are only two buttons on the top with this you can toggle between different features such as yards or meters and turn the slope function on and off in addition to slope it has flag lock with pulse vibration and a range of up to 800 yds with six times magnification I was impressed with the display it’s a really clear bright LCD and I found it quick to return a yardage I also think this range finder looks good on my bag and although only number four on my list this is minion I think this is a brilliant device it’s so refreshing to see a different style of device out there I love how compact it looks smaller than your mobile phone it only weighs 99 G or roughly the weight of two golf balls before I get into the specs of this device I need to say it doesn’t have a standard carry case it has a stylish gray carrycase which is designed to be clipped onto your belt it’s also small enough to fit into your pocket so when choosing this device this could be a deciding factor for you when testing this out I attached it to my belt and found it absolutely fine it small and light enough that I didn’t even notice it was there let me know in the comments below do you carry your range fet on your belt or clip it to your bag a first look at the minion it feels premium has a nice finish to it and a close-up look shows a really Sleek looking device with two-tone effect and it looks really stylish sizewise in my hand it’s extremely Compact and my first thoughts are that despite the small size it actually feels easy to handle and to carry even the eyepiece feels easy to turn despite the small size making it easy to make the most of the six times magnification it only has two buttons on the top so it’s really simple to use there the on Wake button and the mode button to switch between yards and meters and control the slope function now this device doesn’t have a magnetic strip which you might find in other models on the market but actually as this is so small you can easily slip it in your pocket or use the belt clip between shots this is USBC rechargeable and caddy talks say the minion can last up to 8,000 measurements on one charge I’ve used it for two rounds now without charge and it’s been absolutely fine on the course I had no trouble locking onto the flag and the jolt and vibrator alert made it easy to know when I’d found the flag the minion has adjustable slope technology which can be turned off and on but a standout feature has to be magic slope also known as M slope this is where the range mun only takes the slope angle and distance into consideration for your golf shop but it also understands the ballf flight trajectory of your shot and takes this into consideration when calculating in the distance it sounds really technical but apparently it makes it far more accurate when testing this out it performed really well on the C it could be too small for some of you and if you’d rather clip it to your bag than carry it around with you it might not be a great option however if you’re interested in standing out on the course and breaking away from the carbon copy white or black range finder devices then this could be perfect for you and what’s even better is the price at only £161 or just over over $200 it’s at a really Rangefinder this is an upgrade from the popular Pro L2 range funner which I still absolutely love and you can check out my review of this here the proar is packed of upgrades and my first thoughts of this is unlike their previous models this feels like a premium rangefinder it’s also much heavier than previous models coming in at 340 G which is significantly heavier than the Pro 2 which weighs only 215 G along the top with only three buttons it’s really simple to use one to switch between red and black Optics and the other the mode button to switch between yards and meters and then the blue fire button to get your reading it also comes with adaptive slope technology which is really easy to operate and has a clear onoff switch on the side it actually looks pretty silent too and on the back you have the extra strong magnet should you want to attach the device to your golf cart then at the eyepiece you can adjust the focusing ring to make the most of the upgraded 1500 yard range and six times Zoom magnification it’ll also vibrate when you’ve locked onto your target the pro ZR is battery powered which can be accessed under the eyepiece when you hold it in the palm of your hand you can see that it’s a good size and when you grip the device it feels compact maybe slightly bigger than other devices on this list but it feels like a nicely packaged Rangefinder so there you have it the features quality accuracy and price they’ve raised the game in the world of rang funders and I’ve tested out a lot of devices from the look and styling on the Pure White carry case to the cool blue and white colorway on the rangefinder they really moved away from the carbon copy plastic black devices on the market the zero in has actually won awards for its styling and design so if you’re looking to stand out on the course this could be the perfect Rangefinder for you sizewise in my hand is very compact far more compact than previous rang finders from them it’s also noticeably smaller and lighter than the shot scope Pro ZR so if size is important to you this could be the perfect choice despite the smaller size it actually feels easy to handle and to carry and The Styling around the grips make it feel sturdy and comfortable and with only two buttons on the top it’s really simple to use there’s the on Wake button and the mode button to switch switch between yards and meters it can read distances of up to 1500 yd and can lock onto the flag from up to 500 yd away with a vibrate function so if you fan yourself a bit of a Bryson trying to drive a power five then this could be perfect for you this device does have a magnetic strip which is really strong so if you use a car this will be really helpful the zero in is USBC rechargeable and go go go say this can last for up to 5,000 measurements on one charge I’ve used it for three rounds now and it’s been absolutely fine light the other devices on this list zero in does have adjustable soak technology and it’s easy to turn on and off with the switch located under the eyepiece what I liked about this is that the readings were consistent when shooting the distance to the flag and when I compared it to my V5 GPS watch I felt confident in trusting the reading if I’m being hyper critical of this device I would have liked to clip added at the top of the carry case so I don’t need to zip it up each time but maybe I’m just being picky again I’ve used every go go go range finder model now and I honestly say this is the best one yet there might be more expensive models out there which promise better Tech and accuracy but I was seriously impressed with this device and I actually found very little to separate this from the devices which cost double or triple the price of the zero wi at time of recording this is on
