LAST TO FIRST! Historic Ride from Chase Sexton | TWMX 450 Recap Hangtown Round 2

The @AmericanMotocross Championship returns to drop the gate for round 2 at the Hangtown Classic. The 450 premiere class is stacked with competition. Jett Lawrence enters round 2 with a 24 moto win streak, seemingly diminishing hope to a majority of his competition to claim that top spot on the podium. There is one rider however that has shown he is not willing to give up, and he showed everyone just that and more in Hangtown.

similar tracks right so yeah no um very small changes we made uh nothing no nothing crazy obviously last weekend we were pretty good we’re decent so uh we’re just built on that a little bit and uh yeah it’s coming for Chase for sure yeah hopefully we’re going to make it happen one of these days good job thanks y morning we’re at Hangtown Saturday it’s race day um about to get Riders meeting nth in the first practice so felt good they made a lot of changes to the track a lot of sand on it too and uh florid a guy I like that so um yeah felt good in that first one we got another qualifier here coming up in about an hour and uh yeah it’s nice and hot uh a little hot a little Sandy so it’s a little bit like I’m in Florida I’m liking it so uh yeah let’s have a good day see you guys what’s up pH M we’re here at Hangtown uh 2024 my last hangdown ever kind of happy not as happy as I was after Paula but uh should be good qualifi 24 another shitty practice for me but uh we’ll be good awesome uh I feel great and and um yeah I think we we ended up uh P6 or something like that or uh yeah I’m not sure don’t really care about practice I mean it’s just practice you know what I mean uh but looking forward to a good day looking forward to uh getting back up in the box and uh hopefully keeping it there but uh yeah so AP out w [Music] yeah and this is what Jet’s been great at now he’s going to everybody’s got to pass him so he gets to dictate the pace so right now he’s going to fill this track out make sure that those oh oh jet jet is down down hard on the downhill and not getting up quickly hard J hard go down Harding it up like looks like he’s do his KNE drop getting up under his own power right now but he definitely took a big hit right there he five star medical crew on the scet immediately they’re going to check him over and Jet [Music] Lawrence he is going to get back on the bike this is an almost immeasurable obstacle to overcome right now [Applause] before he get you the back of the P he need to get you the next two laps while are still get [Applause] half number 9 SL check out right now think [Applause] around who going to happen if they disappear for a moment wheel tohe Hunter to the inside Chase goes around the outside now he comes back to the inside uses the short does he make it happen are you going to be able to make that outside work J to the outside uses that momentum up and over the Robin is that Rider have that point [Music] [Applause] [Applause] start right machine and Phil nicketti pulling starts again is second Jas ston down Jas seon’s down and it just about to mention jet Lawrence should give Justin Cooper some flowers cuz that was very close to being in the hay Bell but Chase ston yeah that’s Motocross folks but now it’s going to be off the I [Applause] air out front a 2011 lap time Chase ston is turning at 206 J Lawrence now into the 20 point range for his crowd every time he goes by he’s like this is my time he believes in him yeah you can tell he Real’s riding loose hanging it out looks like he’s relaxed having a good time so that might have actually held him back for maybe a half the rest of the he that kind of courtesy if you will so he’s caught people now the thing is Hunter [Music] [Music] [Applause] of time left for him to go after a couple seconds off Bob’s not been 3 seconds off of the second and third place Rider right now this is not even close to over he’s 14 seconds out of the lead now it’s down to 12 and2 seconds out of the lead and he’s here comes the set up he’s camping out makes the pass right in front of the mechanics area there heading towards the old Finish Line jump BL flying as Chase SE makes her Justin fights and so the second place again whoa they get he needs to right now chase a
