Stanley Cup finals you get where I’m going uh with this um we get back on the uh we get back on the horse um literally and figuratively actually as we also have the Belmont Stakes and speaking of which Caitlyn free is going to join us tomorrow night to help us break it down pretty cool the Belmont uh Stakes is noted Belmont first time um first time since 1967 that the Belmont Stakes uh noted Belmont uh they had it at aqueduck before the last time they renovated Belmont and as anybody uh knows in New York Renovations take a long time so I’m expecting the Belmont Stakes will probably be at Saratoga for the next like three years or something but all kidding asid it’s at Saratoga this year which is pretty awesome great uh spectacular track uh but we’ll get to that uh later in the week we got Major League Baseball going on uh tonight there’s some international soccer it’s the C before the storm the Copa set to begin uh but Mexico and Uruguay are playing I’ve already lost Uruguay are me uh messing Mexico up Mexico are terrible at soccer now like they just are it’s unbelievable how bad they become like the US Canada like it used to be Mexico and the conaf and everybody else now you know look they’re getting rolled right now although this could be a precursor to the Copa that’s coming up remember the cona teams I’ve never been in the Copa before this is Step Up in class all right like big time Step Up in class like like Canada is used to playing Panama Man Canada plays Panama El Salvador Jamaica you know what I’m saying like you know can you know the caaf region isn’t the Copa the Copa America Quality and we’re seeing this and I’m think when I see this actually I’m thinking oh my God what the hell is going to happen to Canada when they play Argentina like you know like Mexico’s getting messed up man by Uruguay and this is this is like a uh exhibition game like you know they call it a friendly but the tournament set to begin soon so it’s the real deal and Uruguay aren’t playing around Uruguay are really good Uruguay um you know you got Argentina you got Brazil then there’s always Uruguay on this thing but the thing with Uruguay is normally they play really defensive you can’t score on them I bet the uh bet the under two and a half it’s already three nothing man at the half right now frustrating so I better win some baseball it’s deja vu all over again remember last night it was 5 nothing for the white socks and you know we jumped in was and I saw it was 53 and I said man the Cubs are getting plus 225 plus 230 at the time and I said they’re only down by two it’s to the white sock and they’re coming back well they’re down by uh they’re down by two again it’s 53 and they have Runners on first and second um they got Runners on first and second right now it’s minus 115 um they’re probably going to come back again I don’t have a problem with jumping in on the uh the white socks will blow this again I think the Cubs will win against the bottom of the seventh inning uh but I’ve got other uh concerns we’ve already lost the soccer uh game so I need to win this late night baseball we’re on the under in San Diego and Los Angeles I got under eight in this game the Halos are leading the Friars right now it’s a religious battle uh the the Padres and the the Angels uh the total is eight and a half right now I’ve got under eight I didn’t play a side uh in this game we did play the under eight in Seattle and Oakland this game is scoreless at the top of the third inning we all you know we all know about the Seattle Mariners and uh they great pitching staff and their big underrun uh that they’ve been on so there’s the major league uh baseball uh update NBA Finals getting ready uh to tip off finally we saw the players on the floor today uh the the shoot arounds the practices the Press conferen is I will say as great of a matchup as it is it’s a very cool like matchup from from a basketball standpoint from a storyline standpoint from a player star standpoint there’s some great basketball players on the court in these finals but you see like the NBA is not the NFL right you take a week off you take 10 days off and people kind of do forget it doesn’t mean that people aren’t going to get all fired up but if you’ll notice there hasn’t really been a ton of hype about the NBA Finals um this week right like people have broken it down it’s like all right we talked about it now just play the damn games but we’re getting ready to finally uh play the games the point spread Remains the Same sitting at six and a half I look forward to Paul bov’s take uh tonight of course Paul’s a great NBA handicapper and look forward to seeing what Paul thinks about the series and how he’s approaching this the Mavericks are getting a six and a half uh right now in game one we should note the total has gone up a little bit up to uh 215 uh right now considering the long layoff for both teams right although it’s it’s been perfect if you’re the Mavericks right you you’ve had a week off six days you know you got the party afterward in the Western Conference and then you get back to business Boston have been off for a long time I like the first quarter to be a little bit slow number one is the NBA Finals number number two it’s not like these teams know each other extremely well it’s not like the conference um you know playoffs you play in the Conference playoffs you know the teams you’re playing even if they’re not in your division or they probably are in your division Etc um look at you know the Pacers and the Celtics played five times this year so there was nothing new uh for them you know what you’re going to get neither team fully knows what they’re going to get I would say more so Boston I think it’s going to be more of a challenge for Boston early to figure out how Dallas plays because Dallas playing an orthodox style of basketball in that they don’t really push the ball up the court they walk it up the court Luca donic very you know Muhammad Ali is the old ropa dope right like he walks it up slowly and then he’ll burst to the hole or he’ll walk it up slowly and he’ll just sort of casually flip like this you know 35 foot three-point shot uh that’ll go in and the tempo they they do a good job on defense of sort of slowing you down then they slow it down on their own I think B and you know what Boston are going to do Boston take three-point shots so if you’re Dallas you know what Boston are going to do there’s no mystery to this and I’m not saying there’s a massive mystery to Dallas but Dallas have more wrinkles than Boston do you know Dallas can come out you with Luca Dallas can say you know what let’s let Kyrie like just absolutely attacked him early in this game right he’s in Boston they’re going to be all over him how about like we really go and take the crowd out of this and let Kyrie like Drop 14 in the first quarter type of deal I’m fascinating to see how it plays out early but it’s a championship game it’s like a championship fight first couple of rounds or a feeling out process and I think we’re going to go under uh 55 and a half 56 points um both teams haven’t played in a while Boston are a big time three-point shooting team other shots just automatically going to fall and oh yeah by the way they’re dropping Christa porzingis back in the lineup who hasn’t played since April the 29th all right we’ve see it time and time again in basketball you bring a guy back and you put them in the lineup it can often hurt the offensive chemistry uh a little bit and you know they’re going to want to get pingis uh involved early here I’m not saying that this game can’t get there and go over the number when it’s all said and done but I think the best way to approach this in my own personal opinion is we’re going to bet the first quarter under a little bit of a feeling out process in the first quarter let the total drop to 204 203 or something like that from the 215 and then we stump we step up and and and uh and pounce on the ingame over after we hit the first quarter to go under the number we’ll have more picks uh and props throughout the evening tonight countdown a kickoff in the CFL all right NBA final start tomorrow night so does the Canadian football league and I’m fired up I’ve got a bunch of Futures to share with you a bunch of Best Bets uh most to seeing how that plays out Canada really really really good Canada three Onre women’s team they don’t have uh any WNBA players like Canada does it different they’ve got they’ve got like two sisters that like it’s almost like doubles when you get into like doubles tennis like those two brothers that won all the time Bri like yeah individually we’re not really good but we’re brothers we play together forever and we’re going to win like 12 doubles championships so Canada have these two sisters they’ve W they won the World Championship like two years in a row if you look at the future odds for the Olympics the USA are plus 175 to win the gold medal and Canada are right there like plus 200 it’s like it’s a tossup but we’ll get to that a little bit later on but shout out to Cameron Brink and Haley van lith for getting name to the USA team uh today let’s bring him Brady can and cam store uh we’ve got the uh the memorial to break down Brady good to see you how you doing Brady I’m good guys good to be with both of you once again in on a Wednesday yeah the eve before a signature event you know this is quite a run of golf that we’ve been on for the last month plus you know you start with a signature event in the Wells Fargo you go to the PGA and then a couple of Classics Colonial the Canadian open and now we go right back to a signature event US Open and another signature event after that so quite a run of golf here over the course of about a two and a half month period and uh yeah this one this one’s a great one the memorial is always one of my favorites I’m I’m sure you probably share those sentiments cam Jack’s Place he heck of a golf course a great tuneup for the US Open I think it’s kind of us openes what it takes to be successful here so and of course we have a loaded field with all the luminaries so I’m looking forward to it one thing I do like you are right about I’ll give golf uh credit and Monahan gets called out for a lot of things by everybody including the players but the the schedule has been good moving things up I think it’s a good idea for golf cuz really the Casual sports fan and Casual Sports media really only pay attention to the golf majors those are like kind of what matters it’s very similar to the tennis uh world doesn’t mean those other tournaments aren’t great and stuff uh but people sort of pay attention uh to to the to the majors but you know tennis it’s so spread out it’s like you get the French the Australian like you know they’re so spread out you’re right Brady it does feel like it’s just one after another right now and that’s the way it should be right to me it should be like boom yeah we should have a major a month type of thing in in the summertime months I get I get that the Masters a little bit earlier but I do like it and of course cam right they moved it up a little bit they moved up their schedule to try to avoid uh conflict with college football in National Football League hell I say move it up even a little bit more keep on moving it up right like have the last major in August but you’re right Brady the the actual schedule of golf is really good like it just keeps coming you get these tournaments and then it’s always like oh yeah and in two weeks you have another major coming up which is really cool yeah I I love what they did I think it was back in 2019 when they moved the PGA Championship to May so you do have a major every month you know starting in April starting with the Masters you go April May Us open in June uh British Open in July and then you’ve got you know in between uh the memorial the Wells Fargo you know in February leading up to the Masters February and March you’ve got Riviera and the PLAYERS Championship I thought that was one of the best things that golf has done in the last decade was changing that schedule like you say to get out of the way of college and pro football hey they know their space I don’t know if baseball does yet golf does they’re like hey let’s do this because we can’t compete with the NFL in September and run our season all the way in October and blah blah blah and and I think it’s completely enhanced golf because you know you’re basically competing against baseball you obviously have the hockey playoffs in the NBA but you know golf is about an e-mon deal now from January to the you know mid August or so and uh it’s pretty loaded throughout you know August is the FedEx Cup playoffs so there’s the buildup before the Masters the schedule is slick for sure the one sport that really should take a page out of this although though who am I to give any of these multi-billion dollar companies advice but is Nascar this is NASCAR’s big problem NASCAR is a great like summer sport right you only have baseball you have Sunday afternoons you know what I mean like barbecues and races last six hours you can mold the lawn and go to the store come back and you only miss 20 laps right like like it’s it’s a great summer deal but the problem is the problem is you get into you get into the actual real races and the playoffs and like where it really starts to count and it’s in freaking September Brady yeah so it’s like it’s literally the Super Bowl is day right the Super Bowl they start off with March or something no February like two weeks after February 4 like right after the Super Bowl yeah it kind of start off with that but the playoffs are really cool in NASCAR and people like it but it’s just like it’s like really dude you know you have your playoffs on Sunday in September when the NFL back like why don’t you guys just sort of like get it out like by the end of August and hey it is what it is television networks uh R run everything but one last thing about golf this year too and I’ve seen some people start to talk about this I’m looking for lines right now I’m having a hard time finding them the Olympics Olympic Golf this year which will be a big deal to some right I mean cam they’re playing at that writer Cup course right you know Golf Club def France or yeah yeah it’s yeah yeah it’s the real deal like my buddy went to the one uh I remember it was in Italy where they were going wild and that drunk jumped in the pond and stuff uh one of my buddies he actually went there with his friends and he told me it was lit up and this apparently this place is even better G Gabe to your point and we’ll quickly say this and get into the picks if I’m in charge me you and Brady you start these tournaments you end them on Monday you get a finish at 6 7 o’clock rolling into Monday Night Football they’ve actually been better getting into the football Brady a couple tournaments they’ve done it we need more like this you want people people to do that Standalone event in the afternoon bam you got him and you know what now he’s got this major under his uh in his bag what better way to keep it rolling by adding a second gold medal to the mantle yeah big time and if you remember uh in Rio the the Gold Medal winner before that I think it was the first time they ever had golf in the Olympics was Justin Rose and the silver medalist was Henrik Stenson so Justin Rose and Xander Schley the only two golf gold medalists I believe there there are at least in recent history good call are there what other country though has multiple I’m looking here Germany Germany have multiple guys uh or Great Britain have multiple guys Fitzpatrick you got you got Tommy Fleetwood it’s tough though like no one’s really matching up with this us team this isn’t like this isn’t like the rider cup where you’re mixing country so how about Australia good call Australia Adam Scott Cam Davis Jason day Jason day top rated yeah you’re right uh a you got Jason day minw Lee uh I gotta keep scrolling here USA is going to win like it’s dude they got like in the five hole like take a look at their top 10 guys you could have USA one two and three like you could have three USA teams like they’re amazing it’s crazy they they’re Wicked but it no listen though but anyone could win individually right I’m just dating like the us as far as the team is concerned deep uh deep deep stuff all right so uh who do you like Brady the memorial what do you got for us well I I skirted the favorites this week I think it’s kind of an interesting handicap trying to play you know sideline psychologist what are these guys thinking going in the week before a major I mean obviously this is a serious tournament with four million dollar to the winner but you know Colin morawa is a popular pick this week and I feel like there’s it’s completely Justified because he’s been playing great he plays Nicholas courses great but is he trying to win next week you know Scotty is he really looking to next week to kind of you know I mean he feels cheated about the PGA and what happened to him there Victor havins the defending champ I I I don’t think he’s necessarily looking ahead and I don’t know if these guys are truly looking ahead are some guys using this as a little tuneup it’s a great course to tune up for US Open Rory mroy we know always typically plays well the week before a major he won the tournament last time the week before a major at the Wells Fargo I just couldn’t quite figure out how I wanted to treat those guys and so I went a little deeper uh where you get some great prices on all the other quote unquote other best golfers in the world I got I got Russell Henley at 40 to1 uh finished 16th here last year I honed in on three skill sets guys Strokes gained approach got to be really good with the irons here got to hit these small greens and regulation when you don’t you got to scramble like a wizard you got to get up and down from that rough and then the other one is you got to attack the par fours and separate yourself from the field on these long par fours and if you combine Par Four approach and scrambling Nobody Does it really better other than Scotty sheffler and Russell Henley then I went to Alex norren another guy great short game great on approach 60 to1 Keegan Bradley who I really like at 60 to1 great high ball flight these small greens you can’t come in with a low trajectory you got to land it soft he’s been hot runner up at Colonial a couple weeks ago and then I went to Sam Burns at 60 to1 nice finish last week in Canada uh also a 13th Place finish at the Wells Fargo uh his finished 16th here before last year Shane Lowry it’s 70 to1 one in the state of Ohio in 2015 his first tour victory at a similar Golf Course Firestone Country Club a beast of a course Lowry always plays tough tournaments well comes off of that sixth place finish at another Nicholas course at the PGA and then a couple of long bombs Tom hogi at 92 to1 great ball Striker and another great ball Striker Kurt Kama who also hit has a high ball flight uh at 125 to1 so you know nothing really too short but uh 40s 60s 90s and 125 really I’m looking for a bomb this week what really stands out is you got a bunch of really good golfers at Big odds these like these aren’t like they’re not like they’re not good players [Music] [Music] gut says Miami is going to win and you played them each for a top 20 finish and uh full tournament head-to-head uh matchup Tommy Fleetwood over Justin Tom which is interesting Brady and cam because I tell you just from what I’ve seen online Justin Thomas seems to be a trendy pick this week Brady but you’re going against him well I I tell you Thomas makes a lot of sense at this golf course he’s done very well here before uh it was the covid summer when they played here two weeks in a row he lost in a playoff to Colin morawa so you know he he is certainly and he’s he seems to be coming around in form he just had a very nice PGA Championship as well so I understand it but you guys saw Tommy Fleetwood in your country up there that last week north of the Border he shot a 64 on Saturday I think this guy he’s another guy I didn’t take for a win this week and some very well-respected opinions did take him for a win this week I think he could win next week I think he might conquer it all in one get his first PGA Tour you know and major in the same week win the US Open I think he’s a contender at Pinehurst I still think he’s going to do well this week I don’t know if he’s going to go all the way to the top but yeah even money as a pretty decent sized dog to Justin Thomas I mean you might make Tommy the favorite in that matchup right I mean at worst it’s a pick them so at even money yeah I’ll take Tommy over Justin Thomas and first round leaders Russell Henley Sam Burns Alex noren and Tom hogy uh cam what do you have for the memorial actually Gabe I’m doing a real small card kind of like your style for the golf tournament I got a couple chocks and a couple other guys but I’m going going with the keeping it simple I’m going with Colin moraca he’s one of the hottest players in the world right now I know it’s a popular pick but I just think he’s going to break through he’s been top five every week and I’m I’m I’m hammering morawa Victor hin is a defending Champion he had an equipment change and Brady will tell you that’s very tough for a while but if you take a look at the numbers he’s trending in the right direction 18 I want it a little bit more lud Oar 25 to one yeah this field is very good but this guy’s one of the best players in the world I’m willing to take a shot I like Brady’s balls more than mine he’s taking long shots I got a little more chalk but I’m only taking less guys give me sep straa he checks all the boxes Georgia Bulldog hits it big good game good ball flight if his Putter’s hot I like him at 66 he’s kind of like my dog like uh Sammy Burns other guys that I like right now uh my first round leaders Gabe I like obviously for all you guys playing just a note Xander Schley has been the first round leader of two of the last three tournaments played and we were on him but his odds the bookmakers caught on hin 22 oer 30 tagala 40 to one straa 50 Thompson’s water seal for your deck at 70 and uh I got a frog in my echo at 75 to one this guy murders the ball great stuff I love that thank you there we go hey I four guys that I I noticed you have some outrights on some same guys that you did for first round leader this is a tournament like the Masters where it’s hard to catch up you got to get out to a fast start so I figure if I like these guys to win that probably means they’re going to get off to a decent start when I look at first round leader I want guys that make a lot of birdies don’t make a lot of bogeys uh they’re very good on Strokes gained approach they can get a hot Putter and they have a good first round scoring average and those four guys that I took there all check those boxes so we’ll see if it works I don’t often play first round leader but hey Big Boy event let’s have some fun here’s an odds boost uh that I see here uh Brady what do you think of this top 20 finish call morawa ludvig uh a a be and Victor havland all top 20 plus 324 so it’s boosted up from plus 280 to plus 324 but what do you think uh Brady those three players is there one guy that worries you about a top 20 more than than someone who’s who’s the parlay Buster here so to speak yeah that that’s a tough call you know and I know obviously cam likes all three of those guys and top 20 is not nearly as more as difficult this week because there’s only 73 players in the field so you know and TI ties win too with this so that’s another thing too taies included very important my my biggest red flag there is I hate when the book’s trying to sell me something it’s like are they selling me a real you know Surefire winner I doubt it so that that’s what that gives me pause but yeah I mean those guys all make sense I would say because he hasn’t played as much recently but he’s one of those guys but when he doesn’t play Brady and Gabe he still steps on and does really really well he’s just a confident world class player but he’s not playing as much as the other guys the other guys are putting in more work like morawa plays every week so that’s that that guy would probably be my biggest worry I know he’s a big liability for the books I hate to be too popular with a guy I know there’s sharp people on him as well including ukam uh I think the general public there’s certain you know once in a while but they Max you out and I can always tell there’s a certain book I can always tell if they if it’s a sucker odds play they don’t care how much you put on it yeah if it’s a good one they Max you out at 80 bucks so you know I’ll try to put like 200 right I’ll be like right 200 and it just pops up 80 I’m like all right I tried guys I tried you know I mean but now you know that’s a winning parlay so then I’ll just go and play it again at a different price after at the same place just out of spite y well and sometimes these people they aren’t immune to mistakes either you know they might put up a bad line where you go hey you know what this one is actually you know has some value here I’m gonna try this one and sometimes they want to make people do like online casino stuff and all that but it is true bet big early hit them like on the first freaking hand for like a nickel or something right like you attack them early they want you to win they about I want to say one plus 11 15ish somewhere between plus 110 and plus 125 something like that a two- teamer obviously Florida just a slight favorite to to beat Edmonton Boston a pretty yeah I’m on the in Boston you know minus 225 Florida minus 1225 I’m not sure what that spells out you you could be right maybe it’s plus 140 or so I can’t remember um but I but I played them I I think they’re the better teams uh plus1 figures away right now plus 151 yeah I I I was off and I could have been thinking about another parlay I made the other day or something like you have a lot of I I I don’t but I of the Celtics uh converting 21 of 43 from Beyond The Arc versus seven to 30 or N9 to 34 for the Mavericks that’s that’s just an outlier it’s an aberration I don’t see that happening again but I I just think the Dallas Mavericks should be priced here uh on a neutral Court even with the Boston Celtics so give Boston maybe 40 cents for home court advantage but if you look at this Dallas team as I mentioned 21 and five uh after the trade PJ Washington and Gafford when Gafford with that lineup m with that starting lineup 21 and five correct with with that starting lineup discounting the last game of the season against Detroit where they just mailed it in 11 and5 in the playoffs when Gafford log 20 uh prob minut all right we’ll get into one more on the other side let all [Music] gut says with the Prince of Monaco and stuff drinking champagne and they don’t want to go sit with the Schmucks and the stands and they’re like wellow I see it here on the screen no was John wory he he really does a great job covering tennis and people were asking him what the hell why all the empty seats he goes the grounds are full it’s all the VIPs it’s you know what it is game it’s the co it’s like swept the Pacers the Pacers covered three of the four games they were in like every basketball game they were in the games late Boston are so reliant on a three point shot as well I wonder with them being off for as long as they have been especially in the first quarter tomorrow what do you think about game one itself because I think Dallas go in there and steal it tomorrow they they can but let me bring out a couple other points on the series first of all and you made mention at Indiana and how close the games were and how they actually could have taken three of those games but the Pacers converted 144 of 246 inside the ark now that’s a very high percentage one of the games five of 22 from Beyond The Arc and that cost him in one of those contests I I just feel as though uh Boston has been very fortunate the shoe could drop at any time against Cleveland as we all know Jared Allen out the whole series Donovan Mitchell out the last two but the Cavs got into the pain against this team on multiple occasions they won one game convincing ly by 24 points and in that game the Celtics misfired from Beyond The Arc converting only eight to 35 and that there in lies the danger when you have a team that lives and dies by the three-point shot but again I’m gonna mention that Dallas is A Tale of Two Cities a tale of two teams a tale of two seasons because prior to that trade they were marginally better than a a 500 team maybe a couple games over and all of a sudden things turned around they made a marketly better team 80 plus per win percentage when Gafford plays double digit minutes and I think they’re G to have a big advantage in the middle because I’m not sold on Kristof porzingis he did not have a good series against Miami because uh Bam by the way was a plus five in the three games collectively that the Celtics prevailed by 30 points when bam went off the court that’s when they had the majority of their problems they were outscored by 35 points to heat were in the 20 minutes that he was off so more with Paul on the other side this is portrait [Music]
