let’s get your thoughts uh the Reds and the Rockies will finish off their series in Colorado Reds have pounded them uh the last couple actually they pounded him the other night last night was a little bit closer that one did not get over last night Graham Ashcraft and Dakota Hudson are our starters for this Red’s minus a buck 40 plus 120 for Colorado at another 11 and a half way over the first night way under the second night D I don’t know about the total but I said some pretty crazy stuff to Sheran I’m like I’m riding the Reds and they’ve been one of the biggest disappointments money burners of the first half of the Season Carver but they figured something out and a great recipe for success is playing Colorado give me the Reds again I bet them every damn game in this series and I seems like that listen so far uh at least the getaway days over in Boston these getaway days are always tricky with the overs uh Boston and Houston so far today are looking like under uh we’ll see if it’s going to be like that in Arizona the Brewers are in Philadelphia to finish that series that starts at the top of the hour Aaron Ashby and Aaron Nola dueling aons so we had dueling Jordans and now we have dueling aons minus 175 for Nola and the Phillies plus a buck 45 for the Brew Crew and an eight and a half here would it be nice if we had dueling parlays trifectas and golf winners cver give he’s g r he hasn’t exactly been like shutting out everyone every every time why are the Dodgers dogs tonight game the SK hype is real and people just saw the Dodgers get shut out listen the Dodgers offense has been struggling a little bit as of late it’s been a couple of weeks actually where they just really they’re not really putting up any big crooked numbers in any Innings the Dodgers they’ll top 10 and top fives including in some very tough courses he’s per he’s won here before he’s played great at mfield Village so Colin morawa top of the chart for me Victor havin the defending Champion usually don’t love the defending Champion angle cam but you saw a little something out of Victor for the first time this year at the PGA Championship maybe that rolls right in to a place that he’s obviously played very well at in the past I think we’re getting Max h on the cheap because he did not play well his last couple of times out 45 to1 always plays well on tough courses and this is a tough course game we’ve seen the winner be seven under nine under uh ever since the remodel a few years ago there ain’t going to be any 20 unders uh this week uh at Jack tournament so you got to be on the door at mirfield Village and maybe he could kick it down with an 80 to one this week you know what I love your long shot picks because Keegan hits it a long way and if he gets the putter going haven’t seen Bryson since that tremendous effort at the PGA Championship uh where he finished second to Xander chafl I mean tied what would have been a previously a major record at 20 under and Xander ends up we had them we did damn right we sure did we had them all right unfortunately didn’t finish the across the line so he’s going to be trying again at the US Open next week but he has an event in Houston for Liv first we’ll start with Bry in here saying that how about this cam for a guy that shot 20 under and finished second actually says he wasn’t even hitting the ball great at the PGA Championship or going into the PGA Championship can you believe this guy here’s Bryson equipment was working fine just wasn’t swinging at my best and um I figured out some stuff after the PGA which is great but too late you know obviously for that but again I wasn’t hitting my best and it was just really surprising uh at having myself just be up at the top that that leader board uh on Sunday I was certainly shocked and surprised for myself a little bit just basally the way I was hitting it made everything and that’s ultimately why I got up uh in that level and played ultimately had a chance to win but I was frustrated disappointed uh not to win I wanted two Live players to win that PGA Championship back toback years that have been cool that would have been cool uh Cam and listen he’s I’m actually kind of surprised to hear him say that now I do remember he hit some bomb putts uh during that week weekend as well uh but I thought I thought he played great so it’s good to know that that we’re entertainers um yeah we’re out here doing a job but we’re also entertaining the fans um we’re trying to grow the game trying to show the fans what we’re all about and I think it’s important for people to to see and understand that um and so as I’ve gotten older I’ve realized I always kind of been a bit of a showman I’ve done some weird things in the past different things in the past but really showing my true colors and being able to allow myself to fully become how do I say uh positively emotional I I don’t know if that’s the way to describe it positively emotional cam way to be this year Dave aragona has been with us from the Daily Racing Form throughout the Triple Crown here on C Toc and he is back with us again here today Dave good to see you as always my man uh yesterday we kind of talked about the race in general now we got to get down to business who do we like in this race on Saturday so let’s start uh with your number one pick that I see here which is the eight horse honor Marie tell me a little bit about the eight yeah I’m somebody who always likes to look for a little bit of value in this race a horse that might be flying under the radar going to be the right price and I think the number eight honor Marie fits that bill he’s a horse that I was interested in going into the Kentucky Derby who’s actually my second pick in that race and I just don’t think we got to find out how good he is in that race because his trip was just a nightmare it was like somebody released a lever on a pinball machine at the start the way he was getting bounc around between horses at the beginning of that race he’s a horse that likes to come from the back of the pack anyway but you don’t want to take as many bumps as he did coming out of the Starting Gate it really threw him off he could never get into a comfortable Rhythm that day did make a mild late run but now he’s had some time off since then he’s one of the horses that who skipped the pness coming into this race as a fresh horse reportedly training well for this at Churchill so I think he’s going to R run a lot better in this race is he good enough to upset some of the horses that beat him last time don’t know but I think the price is going to be right to to find out uh next we will go to of course sees the gray uh coming off a very good performance of their own the number one or yeah CES the gry he was the priest winner caused an upset to get the job done that day LED every step of the way I think he’s going to lead again here you could see in the bottom right of the screen our time form us Pace projector one of our past performance features at Daily Racing Form he’s projected to lead this field early based on the fast Paces that he set in some of his recent races and his trainer Dwayne Lucas one of the legends of the game when he gets these horses into good form they typically hold their form and I don’t want to regard his press as just a fluke because the track was wet I think he might be a horse that’s improving at the right time I’m going to take him seriously in this race and he’s likely to be around the fourth choice so I don’t think he’s going to get the respect he deserves uh probably not I like that horse uh performed very well for me at the Pras obviously with that Victory next the morning line favorite as we discussed yesterday uh Sierra Leone yeah he’s the most likely winner of the race I’m not going to argue with anybody who thinks that he is uh just better than these horses but I don’t think you’re going to get paid I made him N9 to5 on the morning line I’m going to be surprised if he goes off too much higher than that might even go lower I just think the consensus out of the Derby is that he was a little unlucky that day lugging in only lost by a nose to Mystic Dan and he’s coming into Saratoga as a fresh horse probably going to run his race and do well he’s just a horse whose greatest asset is his consistency but based on his numbers speed figures which rate how fast thees run he doesn’t have some major Edge over this field so I don’t think he’s worth the short price but I do expect him to be somewhere in the trifecta and finally you go a little bit deeper down the board which we always love at 15 to one and that is with the six horse dor yeah just trying to find some bigger price to highlight in this race and I’ll be honest I was not the biggest fan of door knock through the early part of the Season didn’t really like his chances in the Kentucky Derby but if you’re looking for the horse that got the worst trip of anybody in the Kentucky Derby it was door knock breaking from the inside post position right down towards the rail is almost always a recipe for trouble and that’s where he broke from and got cut off in the early stages and just really found trouble at every juncture of that race and actually did okay to beat home half the field he still has to run better than he ever has so far during this three-year-old season but he’s not getting any respect coming into this race and I think he’s going to run better than he did on Derby Day uh there you go I love it Dave let me give you one that I’ve had my eye on because I’m a big when I’m hopping in for these races I am a very big uh jockey and trainer combo and Pletcher and Velasquez that sticks out to me when I look at the board for the number five horse antiquarian yeah he’s a horse who’s coming into this race with some upside he was the winner of the Peter Pan not competing in any of the Triple Crown events so far but the Peter Pan is the local New York prep for the Belmont Stakes and actually last year archangelo the Belmont winner came out of the the Peter Pan so it’s is a race that has produced Belmont winners in the past and even recently he’s a horse that’s a lot of upside coming in here as you said John Vasquez Todd Pletcher are a potent combination and I think he is a horse that’s going to get the distance it’s just a question of whether or not he’s capable of stepping up against these tougher horses I got like 20 seconds Dave we didn’t mention Mystic Dan once I guess Mystic Dan out of gas at third race here the only one to go this all these races yeah I’m wondering if he can deliver another Peak effort is the only horse to comped in all three but he’s been underrated before and I don’t want to totally discount him uh Dave tremendous job as always David Arona Daily Racing for here with us all week on Coast to Coast as we get ready for the sakes on Saturday we’re back into this [Music] the Warriors learn some of that split action that they run offensively and bring it to your own team folks the name is Kenny ainson every time there is a job with a young core that needs to take the next step I always think of any AC only on Sports grid the numbers might look crazy especially depending on where you think jerich go falls in the National Football League I would consider him maybe as crazy as this sounds a top 10 quarterback and again the theory behind paying your quarterbacks and your top rated players pay them earlier the longer you wait it only cost you money if you have the Top Flight we’re trying to win right now I I I I’m in a window right now and you’re going to say no we’re going to plan this for the future with a guy who had four years Four Seasons ended by injury four like Michael penx is a walking injury like what are you doing taking him in the top 10 the Bostonian versus the book using the parlays against one another right and being able to get a little bit of juice cons I found to be a little interesting believe me all the rhombuses and parallelograms are constantly trying to search and find out those things every day it’s one of the battles that you you know as you expand the menu you encounter new battles game time to decisions only on Sports grid
