i’ been getting dirty money Jordan Bing Penny while I’m flipping these birding [Music] ond what’s going on DJ Nation Ken Kim here bringing you another fantasy golf gener podcast this week for the memorial Jacks tournament as usual I’m here with everybody’s favorite South African Byron ly Byron what is up my friend Kenny let’s go another I got swept last week though so not the best week actually you know thinking about it now this the first time I’ve actually thought about last week didn’t have the fullest card didn’t go full card last week got swept knew it was going to be a weird week just had a gut feeling um was either going to be Rory that wanted or Bobby Mack putting like cam Smith out of nowhere yeah that was pretty that was pretty ridiculous by Bobby Mack but before we move on uh we are sponsored by Underdog fantasy use promo code Mayo get yourself a deposit match up to 200 $50 yeah it wasn’t that bad for me uh I H Maverick M Maverick just went ham uh the last three days I I mean uh you know he barely made the cut and ended up finishing top eight uh same with um McKenzie Hughes I hit both the eways on those and I covered my week in the gambling sense draft cheese wasn’t that great um Cas cornerstones weren’t horrible but still it was like a four to six week and I I casted in one double up I was on the edge uh of all of them so uh pretty shitty but I mean at least we keep the streak alive I think it’s like 14 each ways and four outright winners in the last 11 weeks for me on the gambl front uh so hopefully that continues to improve but I was impressed by Rober McIntyre I don’t really like him and I’ll go over that in a little bit but like what he did because you could tell he was wound tight right like just the way he was talking about like the Drone and like how he’s a foreigner and people are out to get his ass like you know his ass is W up tight right uh with that lead usually when you’re W up that tight you don’t really come through at the end right uh but he had a little bit of a fail uh in the middle of the back uh middle of the back D bogy brought some people in uh but the last couple of holes he looked really sharp I mean he got a little bit lucky on a couple of them but that that approach um on 18 is beautiful uh it really sealed the deal for him I was really impressed he was able to go through it because you know inside his head he was just going [ __ ] insane you could tell just by looking at um and I guess the reason why I don’t really like him I mean first off it’s that Ridder Cup video after they won with him cheering and all that stuff like he was a big [ __ ] Factor uh in the European Rider cup and he did play well he did play better in his Baseline and you know that’s another reason why I don’t like him because any European that plays better in their Baseline at the rider cup I just instantly hate um and then you know he was talking about like it was really cool that he was there with his dad I really really great really really great [ __ ] story but he was like complaining like he was homesick shut the [ __ ] up you little [ __ ] you know what I’m saying you’re a goddamn man right I mean like what the [ __ ] dude now I understand we’re supposed to be sensitive to people’s mental needs and stuff like that especially what’s going on in the last few days but that [ __ ] I was like dude you’re like 25 like how are you homesick when when I was when I was 19 Kenny and I was golden you know yeah like when I was 10 like my highlight of the year was leaving the house and going to Boy Scout camp you know what I’m saying like just get me the [ __ ] out of here man uh and then like when I left for college I like never came back yeah never came back for like 12 years didn’t come back so I mean I don’t know I don’t know he seems like a little [ __ ] to me so I don’t really [ __ ] with all right European Rider Cup team so a big fan he joins a list of guys six guys that I checked since 2017 of 143 of the past winners on the PJ T stroke play tournaments six of them gain gained lost Strokes on approach and won a tournament still Bobby needed to gain one stroke exactly 99 would have been a TI it he gained 0. N9 Strokes in round four and gained zero for the week so he he basically makes the list in my opinion I think if you don’t gain Strokes you go with the people that didn’t gain you know like zero is zero it’s the one person that did that but he’s now the seventh person call it in the it’s like a 4% chance in PJ history that you win a tournament like this gaining with the Putter and losing on approach so how we managed to scrap it together it’s Scottish blue color crazy and and it just it just didn’t God damn it you know I Tom K live like he he’s he’s fired four caddies in the last year right so obviously like either he don’t [ __ ] with Cades or like Cates don’t [ __ ] with him he seems like he’d be horrible to CAD um just try to keep him like focused and I mean the [ __ ] with the Drone was crazy yeah right I mean like it was crazy like he was saying that like they were doing that [ __ ] on purpose because he’s a foreigner like the dude like that’s crazy crazy talk uh I still can’t believe that he may made it through with his mind frame like that uh you know what I’m saying and I was definitely roed against him I had a [ __ ] ton of Ben Griffin um Ben Griffin played extremely well um I had a lot of Ben Griffin I was I think he was like 5% own I think had 25% so I was like five over the field five times over the field so I you know I was definitely rooting against him um and had Matt Hughes outright had the MAV outright uh Tom Kim played really really well really impressive by Tom Kim to go basically tot to Jo with Roy maoy on Saturday and Sunday a guy that’s gonna out drive him about 40 50 yards uh and he tied Roy 65 64 on the weekend just like Rory did um and keny that’s 64 that 64 included two pars on the two par fives a par on the driveable Par Four and a brick from 4 feet on ho 14 because I I jumped in on Tom Kim at plus 2 221 on Saturday morning and then he went nuts but he missed so many freaking puts dude like yeah I mean we also had the Frenchman up there with a really nice finish vior Perez uh you know to Ben Griffith of course Rory was up there Cory cotters who couldn’t miss a couldn’t miss a green the dude iron play is spectacular right now like spectacular uh like I think he’s gting something like 17 19 Strokes with his irons in the last three events like 12 rounds that’s sick uh he finally got his top 10 had that one of those and while MAV M of course saved my life with that e so I was able to get him and Hughes uh fairly fun of really liked the course um he played if you were off you played ult if you’re on and like certain days like moving I thought they had the pins right and they gave people chances to come and come back uh but if you weren’t like really on your game you would still shoot over par I I love coures like that I thought it played really really nice seems like canadi open just braids it every year uh last year was great uh with the hadwin I mean really really good [ __ ] the crowd was amazing the rink was cool I mean the rink was like classy like it wasn’t like it wasn’t classy but it wasn’t it wasn’t [ __ ] waste management right like people just going ape [ __ ] and stupid [ __ ] I mean they were showing you know Amer Canadian Pride singing an as an they had the little buzz on but when the golfers came to play they were quiet they let them play they did their thing a great crowd uh gotta gotta Gotta Give it up my Canadian Brethren uh up north because they really put on a good show anything else you want to talk about this saan no just the fact that Rory seems like he is going through a divorce he’s playing golf like he’s going through Force right like there’s no four consecutive days of good golf he’s he’s boning on on Thursdays and Saturdays and and signing paperwork on on Sundays and Fridays canny you know like it’s just where are we going with Rory you know we if he wasn’t such a god-given driver of the golf ball his game would be all over the place right like the fact that he’s got that that free Square Off The Tea pretty much every single time he stands on a golf course really helps him but yeah his game is all over the place uh is Rory’s really curious to see if he wins this tournament again and goes for like a three Pat before the majes CU what he won I don’t know what do you mean his game’s been all over the place like I feel like since the divorce he’s been playing pretty [ __ ] well yes yes but not to like a Rory like if you watch him Kenny he goes through these spurts of incredible golf but that’s but that’s been Roy forever well well okay if it’s if it’s now or not it still needs to be more consistent you know like that’s what I’m trying to get at is like his game he just you’ll do something stupid out of nowhere and that’s now it looks like he’s going through a divorce right like he’s always been playing like he’s been in a divorce maybe that’s why but um what I’m trying to get at is if he could just tidy it up but maybe that’s not his style you know like because what you get one Friday since he won the Wells Fargo he’s gained Strokes in every major stroke gain category in all three events drivers I mean I guess I’m not watching him maybe you’re watching him more than me that’s the thing is it’s this round by round stuff like I play a lot of Showdown so I know what Rory’s up you know like this is when you go into Rory and Showdown and he and he gets you like 27 points like where we at brother like you know what are we doing on Friday yeah but it is what you know yeah then he goes and has incredible the thing is if he if he plays full rounds well he’ll win 85% of tournaments he plays right I mean I like Scotty beats him right I mean basically that’s what it comes down to if if he can if he can be on point for for all four days dude’s gonna win like every event uh and you’re right I guess he doesn’t have that in him because I mean the thing is he’s well 45 event so it’s not like he’s short on wins uh just can’t get that major in so we see how he does uh in a couple of weeks over at Pinehurst of course with this long drive it’s going to shoot it’s gonna suit him and he’s playing it’s going to be good form so we’ll see how that goes um other big stories of this past week of course was uh the women’s US Open was actually a great watch of course was uh Lancaster Country Club was beautiful course um you know the funny thing is I was watching the final A and M was up four I saw y Yuka saso like M I think Yuka she she’s a baller when it comes to these situations I was thinking about putting on and I saw 10 to one I was like I I just couldn’t do it uh 10 to one and I should have I definitely should have I regret that of course we had uh Charlie Hall uh going viral I mean God what the [ __ ] smoke show I mean just because of [ __ ] Smoky cigarettes I mean if you want to win pip right just smoke a [ __ ] cigarette and have it on [ __ ] camera uh because you’ll be up there for pip I mean it’s hilarious like she is so hot like if we’re in bed together and she just said she like Hello I would just be like oh I apologize and like I just busted a nut on your leg let me clean that for you listen I could just listen to her voice and like it it would be amazing let us know in the comments if we should do an LPGA segment because I think it would be hilarious and then we can we can get like some sort of graphics on and see if Kenny can like resist the urge to bed Charlie hall or we can like we’ll figure something out I mean [ __ ] I’m not going to better she don’t win that often I mean [ __ ] you know what I’m saying I’m not stupid but I’ll stare I’ll stare it all day no [ __ ] problem um yeah but I mean like it was good for the game I thought it reason attention more eyes I mean I know it sucks and people hate it sex cells right uh and so especially when it comes to women’s sports um it’s a shitty way to think about it but I mean it’s just facts uh and she just brings a lot of attention to the sport because of her looks and she could ball right uh I’m definitely thinking about going to rtj this year roberr Jones is local they’re hosting the the uh solheim cup um thinking I might get some tickets and go check that out uh here in September Maybe that out or them out H probably everything I girls the thing about it is these girls yeah they’re nice to look at but they could ball right I mean first off these aren’t like your your your parents LPGA players where they look like the cafeteria Ln lady and [ __ ] like that you know what I’m saying these women are like yeah very fit right very very fit uh and uh and the thing is it’s not all that I mean these women so of these women can hit the ball mile a lot of them just hit every Fairway uh I mean basically when it comes to like the the main techniques of golf like if you want to be like good you probably want to watch women’s golf more than men’s golf if you’re trying to pick up points right uh I mean these these women they just got all the fundamentals down uh they know what I mean it’s it’s really really impressive uh how they can hit every shot so similar uh every single time especially the top women in the world uh so I thought that was a really really good showing uh for the LPGA I thought the course is really really nice I thought coverage is pretty good with the featured groups the 4K all that good stuff I enjoyed it thoroughly uh probably just as much as the men’s goal Kenny what do you think about NY making a 10 on that par three and it being a major you know like she’s been playing so well and the first kind of blow won a major before I just I was looking it up right now she’s won two she’s won in 2024 she won the Chevron so this year I guess okay um and then she prior to that she’d won the women’s PJ championship in 2021 so I wanted to make sure to see if she actually has won a few majors in the in the past because I think that makes a big difference to to the comment that I had about collapsing but still major championships mess with people’s brains and for her to have you know like to chip it into the water multiple times like that you know tough scenes but obviously she’s won a major the shity so what do we really know you know yeah I mean she won like six in a row you give her a little bit of a comes back and play shitty maybe that one hole gets to her because that’s golf right uh you could think about you play golf for so well for so long and you [ __ ] up at one hole and that’s all you think about right no she had wait 25 minutes on that hole as well oh yeah that sucks I mean okay that’s the one thing who wins golf they are slower than M oh God in college Kenny we were we had our entire team on on the t- boox at times five guys just all on the t- box just waiting to tea off look massive backlogs dude it’s brutal like you got to have your mtal [ __ ] together playing with girls on the course as well oh okay okay yeah I mean they tend to take a lot longer um and and yeah the rounds are definitely very very long and that’s something that they’re going to have to tighten up I mean I I mean [ __ ] Bobby Mack was two and a half Strokes two and a half hole behind on the final day they they finally gave him a little word on like 15 right everyone 15 how do you make up two holes when you got three to go you know you can’t like it’s such [ __ ] you know like loving on the guy I I hate Bobby Mack as well with you let’s be honest yeah I just thought say the whole thing was pretty awesome uh with his dad there but [ __ ] that dude I really don’t [ __ ] with him uh a reminds me yeah as a golfer of course yeah yeah he reminds me of Colin Montgomery um just someone who just finds every little thing to [ __ ] about right like in the middle of the round like it’s so weird uhi wants to be a perennial under Kenny you know like he always wants to be against the world yeah you know a lot of people use that as motivation uh to try it’s like me against you I mean [ __ ] I just don’t [ __ ] with it uh just don’t like them I the rider C the partying and just not a fan just not a fan uh but you know uh we move week and it was not going so well I did not think the course is going to play the way it did it wasn’t as difficult um as I thought it wasn’t easy uh but it was not as difficult as I perceived now this week uh we shall see because we’re looking at you know in the last few years you’re looking at minus 7us 9 coming out here you see like minus 13 when it’s been wet um but this week we’re seeing 15 to 30 mile per hour wins Thursday Friday and Saturday uh so my guess is scoring is going to be low and I think Underdog sort of kept up with that raising their birdie amounts for a lot of golfers to like three and a half or or the bogey amounts like three and a half or four the birdie numbers are the ones that I’m not sure of because like I like I feel like these guys especially with the rain and they’re going to have Wednesday after Wednesday evening you know Jack’s going to pump the [ __ ] out of that subar system right so you have to figure it might be it might be uh you know a little bit firmer than we’d expect even with the rain I’m thinking difficult conditions so I’m gonna go basically Bogies is what I’m GNA do and the first one I’m gonna do is actually G to be low uh because this guy after what I’ve seen with his irons um the last three weeks and throughout his career Cory Connors is just his iron play just been unbelievable uh just so strong he had so many Fairways uh and think about Memorial is you think it’s a long course 7500 you think everybody goes ahead and hits driver you know they’re like the average driving distance is like maybe half like like in the middle of all to of all courses on tour uh because you know once you get past that 300 yard marker everything’s gets real tight uh at mirfield Village so you got to think about that and but the thing is I think the way Cory Conor plays he can hit it down the middle hit that iron shot and then hopefully two play basically is what it’s going to come down to he plays well at the Masters similar you know maybe not as large as the Masters but you’re seeing rolling undulating you know raised uh Bank Grass greens right and he usually tends to play well over there so give me less than three and a half Bogies for Corey Connors now the other two are going to be more than three Bogies versus Matt F Patrick um just just not play very well right uh just it’s not great uh his game’s not there either fish top 10 last year here but he was played so much better than he is now uh so I don’t like Fitzpatrick this weekend I’m going will zator more than three bogus as well the man just you know he’s just not there doesn’t seem like he’s there I don’t know whether it’s still the injury or he’s trying to figure out his swing so he doesn’t get injured more in the first place in the future uh but I think you know having that surgery it’s a young age uh it’s sort of messing with them he’s trying to balance everything out with his swing when it comes to distance and health and that’s a hard balance when you’re you know 58 55 pounds right and you and you have so much torque in your sway that uh you know it makes it tough to find that balance uh and I think he’s struggling with that right now so so my it’s it pays uh I think 6.4 times so Cory cars under three and a half Bogies um over three Bogies for fits over three bogies for um uh zator how you how you going so I try to do the same thing Kenny and I think the reason why you are not correlating your bets right because if you go two of one one of the other you get that little the reason you’re getting paid out 6 point whatever is because those bets don’t correlate so the course you know if you’re betting a higher than Bogies and a lower than Bogies it means of course can play differently for those two different guys that’s why your odds are higher right like that’s just why so mine only at 4.77 and I’ve only got three guys and I try to do the higher lower thing for for that too but I think you got to choose the same category to go the higher lower from what I understand I’m still also learning the the ins and outs of Underdog but ladig Ober higher than 70 and a half Strokes same thing as will zorus Kenny the guy’s walking around with a giant knee brace on still not good you know like that’s doesn’t scream confidence to me Tommy Fleetwood this guy The Perennial bane of my existence he’s going to make more than four birdies but I’m going to go four birdies or lower for Tommy F especially in round one the guy is just a statue and then Brian Harman if you’re going to tell me he’s going to make more than four birdies around freaking murfield Village in those kind of conditions I’ll wear a clown nose for the next show if he makes five bodies so I like Brian Harman this week a lot I like him for his bogy avoidance I don’t like him to make five birdies five birdies you know like sense yeah um makes he could shoot 69 and go and still you would and make three bires yeah yeah yes yeah or an eagle and a Bernie somehow you know like he’s just that kind of a guy yeah so I can see that so that’s our Underdog segment so hopefully we can uh kick back a little bit I I I I lost on on the first round into the final round I did a little bit of a flyer to try and get like you know like 11 times uh because I had wanted a little bit and I I hit two and of course pendrith top 10 uh didn’t go as well I think he finished it in top 20 didn’t really do that well on Sunday so trying to pick it back up this week hopefully the underdog streets go ahead but the betting streets uh have been pretty good uh for me uh so I’m going to go ahead H this will be our betting segment of the week and I’ll go over my bets that I have and I basically have a full C uh already um and I maybe I should wait until uh the weather but you know you sure I I have three guys that are up there near the top and I feel like their numbers are going to drop and some of them already have um so I’m gonna go ahead and take Mor Cowell 14 to1 win only um going Mor Howell 14 to1 win only I’m gonna take havin 18 to one win only uh then I’m GNA go um then I’m gonna go Homer you know you play hom on Homa courses right uh it look if you look back at homeless uh rates here recently you know they’ve all been you been getting those top 10 top 20s all on longer courses uh seems like that’s something that he can get down with I do like him a lot this week so I’m going so I’m Going H with 35 to one with eight places um then then I like uh here the one was a little bit off Ricky uh Fowler he went last time he went out he looked pretty good I don’t know finish like 35th but ball striking he was excellent uh this is a course where he has succeeded in the past if his game is back this is a place where it would show uh so give me 80 to one Ricky with eight places uh then I went ahead and took um uh where am I Taylor pendrith 110 to1 eight places Victor Perez 140 to18 places Jake knap 160 to one eight places uh and Lee hajes 170 to one eight places so I got like three main bets and I think five or six long shots all right cool that the engage eight yeah when you see with this events you’ve seen recently it’s been like 20 25 22 won uh but prior to that you know 60s uh 500 to one will murt won this you know uh so we have seen uh some underdogs do well but that’s why I’m also playing each way for those uh for those long shot bets what are you doing this week for your bats Kenny so I’ve been working accounting all day but I have a few outrides for you guys raking 100 will be out by the way little fun announcement as I haven’t mentioned this on the show yet I will do my back n bit show on Mayo media Network now which will be happening on Tuesday so all the bets that I’m going to be doing in this little Min segment I Max like you said he’s been balling out and he’s he’s starting to Trend in the right direction you know that third place at at Augusta got me quite excited about him and then I’ve got Keegan Bradley Keegan is driving the ball Kenny at a at a rate right now that is Scotty Sheffer iron rate you know like elite elite driving situation so Keegan at a golf course that you have to drive the ball well give me him at 50 to one give me Benny on nuke City off the te I’m just kind of betting all the guys I’ve bet my freaking year and and not really got across the line so I’m hoping one of them can get it there Benny AR’s got so much distance so good scrambling the p is showing up nicely on these on these Bank greens I love Benny on at 50 to1 and these guys are all each ways with six places at a fifth of the at the fifth of the stake there so H the gala 40 to1 I think there’s 55s out there on FanDuel I got the 40 with the each way placement market for for six spots there sah great Drive of the ball and if guys win tournaments they win because they putting he sucked on The Greens at Canada the reason I played him at Canada was because he could putt goes and loses like three Strokes in round one like broke his driv in round two just tough scenes you know so hopefully we can bounce back there at 40 to1 still the price I’m willing to pay you know like guys I’m going back to but at a 40 to1 numbers and then Victor hin the the the coach is back you know put the mayor On the Bun and we have got ourselves a daily sandwich Kenny that I want to eat all of it you know and now that Joe Mayo’s on Victor hin sandwich I want the meats let’s go this is the Arby’s play of the day maybe Arby’s will bet us here for for this betting segment and and say we’ve got the meets with Victor havland 18 to1 all right that sounds good all right so let’s move on actually this week let’s talk about this course PJ D moves Ohio for the Memorial tournament from mirfield Village you know two three years ago Jack made some big changes uh to the course he redid All the grass on all the fairies and greens adjust the bunkers chain the Contours of the green added a bunch of new trees new tea boxes are put in the light in of course about 160 100 yards uh you know the cour lens lengthening Fairway grass change redoing of the buckers not a big of a deal but of course the greens always important uh but the thing is you know it should be grown in by now we’re not going to see what we’ve seen like a couple weeks ago uh Wells Fargo and stuff like that where it’s super balancy with these new grass grass should be grown in but of course Jack loves to keep this course dry and firm and tight and you know as as difficult as he can so I expect that subair system to be popping uh all week to make sure those greens are nice and crispy by the time Sunday comes along now uh you know the greens uh so when you uh look at it I’m thinking you know this with the wind is going to be the problem this week you’re looking at 15 and 30 mile per hour winds Thursday Friday Saturday cooler temperature also rain on Sunday just like we saw this past week so uh weather could definitely be a factor this week so I going to pay attention to that’s why I’m a little worried about my bets going off early but you know we do it for the show that’s how we roll all right so the course Midfield Village is a 7,550 yard par 72 four par 3s four par fivs most of which are reachable in two unless they use the back back back te’s uh now off the te golf for will see Tree Line Fairways that are above average and with until the 300 yard Mark like I said earlier uh after that the fies get much more narrow uh there are deep fery buckers water and play around 11 holes the water’s tricky here uh because water you know sometimes have the there’s these Creeks that run alongside the entire Fairway so you can’t really avoid the water if you miss right or left into those Creeks um now with the wide Fairways you talked about this with the wide Fairways you’d think this is a driver heavy course but in 2019 you’re ranked in the bottom 10 courses uh on tour in driving distance with an average driving distance of 282 yards three years ago the average driving distance was only 285 two years ago similar last year similar around 280 to 290 is the average distance that we’re seeing and that’s usually in the bottom half of the tour U so golfers need to avoid the trouble that surrounds the fairways so on many t-shots the driver will be left in the bag now if these far have missed thick four to five in rough will make it make the approach shot in these smallest GRS very difficult although they’d rather be in in in the rough than the Boer the fair the bogy or worst rate uh here after hitting a fairway bunker is close to 60% you got you want to avoid these [ __ ] B bunkers on The Fairway right uh now even though the greens have been reconfigured uh you know this aspect means this you know very very contoured very ulating greens that’s that makes that has stayed the same um you know if they hit a deep uh you know and the pin is in the back location it’s almost an auto bogey or worse because of how the green slope from Back to Front um now uh the course the softening of this course from rain has drastically changed the difficulty in the past of course 2015 of course is soft the average daily score was under par making mirfield vills a 23rd most in course on tour in 2013 conditions are dry course played firm that year was a sixth most difficult course on tour now it’s got the new the state-of-the-art subir systems um it’s possible that you know even a light rain even a media rain they’re going to be able to dry it out uh and that’s the way Jack wants it I think we’ve seen that the last few years where it’s become a little bit more difficult um even with the little bit of a rain uh so of course the greens are bent grass uh and usually they’re going to be firm and hoppy based on the weather once again water and sand come into play around the py surface and the greens themselves somewhat hilly undulating multi-tier final three- go stretch always tough two very long par fours with Danger All Around and the long par three now the fair here sort of easy to hit so this is this course is definitely an approach shock driven course finding golf with good iron play and a good short game is gonna be key this week what are you looking for yeah um you mentioned that the guys don’t hit that many drivers Kenny and the driving distance is down there’s about nine drivers or so that they hit per round which is not a lot you know it’s it’s in middle of the road but I think the driving distance being so low is because of this rough this rough is so thick like where your ball lands is where it stops right like sometimes you see like playing last week if it bounces a few times it’ll at least bounce once or twice this this golf course man that this rough is so cabbagey it just shs it down so having that distance is nice on the approach shots because you can hit shorter clubs like we’ve discussed out these major so love that about this long irons got to make sure you dial that in and then just if you can avoid void those like dumbass mistakes playing this boring golf kind of like the stuff that willus used to do very well and and sometimes still does that’s what you’re looking for right that blueprint it’s almost like a majores type of venue and I think that’s just basically what we’re looking for all right so let’s get to these tiar let’s start off in this 10K range of course we only got four we got havin uh Xander Rory sheffler what do you doing this week I’m I’ve bet the Victor outride and I think at this price I think I can go back to him for sure so he’s going to be my favorite play in the 10 in the 10K range because of the price tag um I was taking a peak I know you’re cheating a bit here with the nines but if you click on Victor and Colin you have the same remaining salary for your next four guys as what you would have for your Five Guys after clicking Scotty so that just puts that into perspective for you there for a touch um I would rather take that duo than Scotty plus five guys you know in my opinion so I’ll be playing that kind of a game this week again entering these single entries three entry Maxes where I can’t have lots of entries for that one Scotty lineup to like optimize the other five guys I’m going to try and limit the amount of people I’m playing against so those Scotty lineups don’t hurt me as much that’s typically my strategy in these designated events with Scotty Sheffer in them so um I’ll probably be playing Xander as well the 10 night yeah I mean hav was my first cascap Cornerstone pretty simple we’ve talked about that already I think I want to play at least three guys from up here um I did like this these guys I don’t have the I don’t like a lot of guys and the narens a couple that stick out to me but that’s only that’s it uh I think I want to play three you know H’s going to be my cash G course I like Xander um I like his price tag it seems very very easy to be able to roster him somebody else and I’ll go with the lowest St between Roy and Scott I’ll find out who the lowest owns is probably gonna be Rory I don’t know I don’t know because I mean and you know the last few times that we’ve gone out we’ve seen the top guy we Ro was like 48% last week uh you know what I’m saying we’ve seen sheffler hit that range being the top guy now the pricing might be might change that up we’ll see uh but I’m going to play the the the the least old of that too I mean I I can’t I can’t do an argument to go against either one uh at this moment in time I mean the only you go against Scotty he’s number one outside of April right okay so that’s the one thing about Scotty he finished second and third here the last couple of years or third third and third uh the last couple of years right you know like you said uh there’s days where he just doesn’t show up um and but it looks to me it looks like his game is on point it looks like he’s ready uh he’s he’s rolling I like the way he plays he’s playing right now so it’s it’s going to be tough to pick between those two but I’ll just go with the ownership play on that now if we go Rory the last time he played here like 2016 was his best finish T4 like where’s the nothing no top fives after that at this golf course like he’s just struggled yeah you know I do like Roy of course uh but uh we’ll see how it goes again the ownership play is going to be the big thing we’ll see how that rocks uh let’s go to this 9k range I do like how he’s going to be my second cash in Cornerstone I went that route it just makes sense the guy’s won here twice his form is excellent he’s playing extremely good golf it seems like we’re back to the more cow old iron play is looking a lot better uh so go ahead give me kaow uh as as my second cash game Cornerstone I do like him JT’s playing excellent I’m gonna play Justin Thomas he’s playing really well ball striking it looks like the old JT is coming back lots of good finishes here recently striking the ball extremely well uh those are my two guys uh that I like I might play Dei down there at 9k but like my favorite play would be JT my favorite cash play of course cash Cornerstone is gonna be more c yeah I think so I think I’m going to be playing JT with you as well and then I think if I’m going to get gutsy and see what the ownership looks like on kley because kle is now what you say with Max you play kley at the Canley places right because he’s played well at all these places that he plays well at and played really badly at places he’s played badly at so if we can get some low ownership potentially on kley at a golf course that he’s you know obviously fell in love with over the years I don’t mind him whatsoever at $9,400 but this range has got warts everywhere Kenny warts everywhere yeah no no no KY for me no OB I’m worried about his I’m worried about his leg Fleetwood I thought about but no um you know I’m just going to go with those guys and I like the way you’re thinking about can’t La he’s probably gonna be low on but if I’m gonna play three guys up top I can’t I can’t go heavy uh in this 9k range I’m that’s the ra I’m going to have to skip I’m gonna have to play a lot of guys in this 8K range the AK range for me Max hom third cash game quarter so pretty simple play hom on H es again you’re looking at him he’s playing these longer more difficult courses very very well uh so you know Masters well as Fargo all that stuff uh he’s played he long major type course as well I do like him uh this week a lot uh other guys in this range um Sam burs again he played really really he played well last week gained Strokes in every single major Strokes game category um I I I like I don’t know the price tag seems pretty good like you know the guys was one a bunch right um it seems like uh he could do something also he putts very well on bent it’s his favorite surface um I do like him a lot who do you like in this race I do not like Sam Burns a lot at all this week no I just see I don’t like I don’t like the G thala not big on of his why what’s wrong with thigala his short game is so poor in the last like 12 rounds it’s been horrible and the thing is like his iron game isn’t like the greatest uh you know out there it’s pretty [ __ ] good but you know I’m worried about the the wind I’m worried about him missing these grains and I’m worried about his short game of course I’m also worried about that with havin but I’m going with him just because I feel like because when we talk about havin from before right he his his short game was better because I think it was easier conditions this is going to be a truer test for hin and a short game with the m off edges around the greens that should make it a little bit more difficult uh to PO the seat but when it comes to I I I don’t like the way he’s playing right now I don’t like the way he looks uh he’s not he’s not making putts his short games not good I mean even if you look at his irons from this past week which is normally you know his strength he’s like top 10 and Str in approach in this field uh in the last few rounds uh you know he lost what uh he lost you know half a stroke normally he doesn’t lose that much he hasn’t lost anything in like six the last time he lost something he went back to back losing Strokes with his approaches also bent his worst putty surface so I don’t like sea but after after showing what burns did last week I do like him uh you don’t have to get like eight billion birdies in this [ __ ] to be able to compete uh he’s known to win on you know more difficult less scoring tracks like Zar like Copperhead he’s won t twice give me birds over Thula all day in the street okay well the only difference between copad and and and murfield Village is everyone that’s playing C ahead is totally not the same as what plays murfield right like this week is going to be hard to win because of the field you know like I don’t like Sam in these big boy Fields he just doesn’t he’s not Alpha is the HTH the HTH Mike Tyson would have a nightmare with SE the gala but I think just the fact Kenny that he’s driving the ball well and you know two two rounds of golf in Canada you know maybe his luggage didn’t show up in time maybe his girlfriend wanted to go see some Canadian landmark and he didn’t want to do it but he did and now he’s still [ __ ] about it because you know want to keep her happy but now he’s not happy he’s golf game breaks his driver misses the cut blah blah BL so off we go I’m okay I’ll forget about that sah hit’s my guy he’s he’s this dude he’s he’s on off switch is burning out because it’s flipping on it’s flipping off rapid you know like he is on off on off all the time whereas like a guy like Scott is’s always on always off kind of thing you know see if always here always there so I’m okay with his his numbers they don’t check out well because of how he plays you know you just got to go with him or not and I I respect your decision to not Benny on yeah all right go ahead go ahead with ar Benny an baby that hat of yours Kenny God damn it he’s got to win a tournament at some point right yeah this seems like it’s something he could win I do like Benny I will play Benny but if you’re if you’re talking about someone who’s driving the ball well he might be the best the best driver in the field the last two months well kean’s in the field Jordan you know and and Jordan yeah that’s but Jordan’s Jordan’s gained like three Strokes driving like congratulations what’s that done for you it’s pretty impressive uh and I think he’s coming to a course where he has played well uh rarely finishes outside the top 25 uh at this event and of course there is a cut at this event uh if I didn’t mention that earlier uh it’s top 50 in ties or within 10 Strokes to Del leader uh after uh two rounds I think I might go B the spe uh this week just seems like one of those things anytime spe is going to be lower own if he’s going to be popular I’ll probably not play him uh but if he if I see him at single dig ownership that’s usually what I like play speed because just come out randomly and be like I’m here and they all make crazy chips and [ __ ] like that and finish top 10 top 15 top 20 something like that maybe you know when you look at his price it’s basically you don’t you don’t need to win like you normally would from speed when he’s like $99,500 $10,000 you’re looking at 80 what 8600 speed uh top probably do it uh he’s hit he’s driving the ball so well uh give me a little bit of speed this Kenny he’s driving the ball well but he’s got one T10 since the Waste Management Phoenix Open he’s done nothing you know like that’s the thing so the ownership will be low I get it but iron oh God you know like that’s the thing you you get on the roller coaster with speed where no one is on there which is fine you know like you’ve got you’re doing the one rule that I’m with you on speed don’t love him but like you said said there’s a lot that can happen with him um Alex norin flop lag situation yeah you know right like this is it you played him last week why the [ __ ] wouldn’t you play him this week at like a quarter of the ownership right if you played him last week why would you not play him double this if You’ never played him last week why would you not double down on him this week after everyone you know [ __ ] the bed there um shout out to him and shout out to Davis Thompson for helping my five for six cash so that was very nice of of norin because I bet him top 20 last that bit but you know what the rest of the DFS situation took care of business there so yeah I like him to round out the eights who do you like in a sevenk Keegan Bradley man like I think I’m G to have him in pretty much every single the fact that he’s Kenny he’s driving it so well right now like elite elite levels of D like Rory like gaining 1.5 Strokes off the tea un demand dude like to gain 1.5 off the te is incredible because you it is so hard to gain over Two Strokes off the te you know you can gain over two strokes putting with on irons because you can’t just make up a single shot off the te unless you hit it in the hole kind of thing you know like driving is micro doing Strokes gained and Keegan is micro doing that driver hard right now so I love him a lot um Jason day you know like no matter where he is he just seems to play well that like I guess he hasn’t really played that well year before yeah he sucks at this course doesn’t he like he lives in area but he blows this course youve seen that happen a lot with golfers like I think of Charlie Hoffman and Vegas right uh where he plays that course all the time it just seems like you have more responsibilities like you have to take care of your friends get them tickets blah blah blah you got family all this stuff sometimes playing at your home course not the best thing uh for guys showed with his finishes just hasn’t really played all and you would think on a course like this especially with the high ball fight and the long irons and it could be something that you would be doing well at but for the most part really not great uh there’s a couple of guys I really like in this t f 700 I mean give me give me that uh the way he’s playing it looks like uh you know he’s had some decent finishes his iron game looks like it’s back as Tia Green’s been pretty good here recently now again he’s normally better in these non Big Boy events but it’s $7,900 I will take the risk to see if he can get him a little bit upside because of course Beck is his best putting surface right and the guy has been playing you know pretty good he’s gting what 12 Strokes 13 Strokes of his irons in his last two appearances he almost went perfect across the board at the Charles Schwab uh give me a little bit of fenale this week I really love SE sep sta at 7500 I see I feel like that number like that he’s way underpriced right and the thing is he’s he’s at three top 10 there like events right two of them have been at um Signature Events and those courses are the complete opposite of each other that’s when you know your game is on point right when you’re playing like a 6900 yard you know RBC Heritage you finish top 10 and then you go play like a 7700 yard Wells Fargo with like the hardest greenings and [ __ ] of bouncing everywhere top 10 again right really [ __ ] impressive by sep stka give me a little bit of him I might even be using him cash we’ll see uh at 7500 seeo Kim 7700 again uh he play really well bunch of top 20s uh I mean he sucks at Majors so don’t even look at his major uh record because the guy just blows at Majors but look at everything else the guy’s been a baller uh basically all season the thing about SE wo that we’ve noticed in the last two years is you know prior to the pass he was Jer it was Boomer bust Boomer bust he would finish top five and then wouldn’t make it cut for like four weeks right and in top five again wouldn’t make a cut for three weeks that’s not that’s not him though uh now he’s got consistency he makes Cuts he has back to back to back you know a lot of consistent top end finishes a different player nowaday really like SEI wo who else you like in the s k yeah love SEI wo yeah and I think this is the kind of course to go to him on because of the fact that he doesn’t make doesn’t make a lot of birdies you know Kenny like he’s very consistent you know he’s he’s just a plotter and I love that about this golf course Tom Kim is going to be very intriguing because he’s starting to find his Groove he’s starting to like get it together so I’m I’m tempted to play him but I will be playing him at US Open for sure and then and will zotus I’ll take him at 7,500 bucks and Tom hogi at $7,400 because these two dudes I think hogi is also he’s he’s finishing top 20 in half of his 16 starts this year and it’s at golf courses on golf courses that aren’t necessarily the easiest things in the world like Tom Hog’s played well at venues that he struggled at in the past that’s how well you know you playing well Kenny like you mentioned with with Striker is when you go to a place that you got bad course history and and overcome that because your form is good you know like when you’ve got four consecutive Mis cuts at a venue then you go there and make the cut that tells me that you’re playing good golf so he’s doing it and then Harris English and Steven jger McKenzie U all in the 727 $100 bucket McKenzie Ed this golf course is for him you know like this guy can scramble and he’s putting Kenny there’s no one on this planet that’s putting better than Mackenzie Us’s right ex and it’s sustainable like it’s ridiculous over 24 round sample size he’s he’s putting at a level that Scotty Sheffer is hitting his irons that’s he’s gaining the same amount of Strokes as Scotty Sheffer I could Sunday didn’t show up Sunday but yeah I’ll probably use him uh I mean other guys I mean there’s a bunch of guys down there I mean like Billy hoback right I mean like four top 10 in his last nine events including a win right uh you got you got bazon who bunch of top finishes here iron game exceptionally strong putt his ass off doesn’t make very many mistakes really good around the green I think he makes sense uh Ben Griffin you saw what he did last week right uh again iron game has been really really good a voy bog is good up our force uh in the top half from 150 to 175 you’ll see a lot of approaches from 150 to 200 yards uh this week uh Lucas Glover down there at 7K Ricky Fowler at 7K I’m G to be going back to those guys uh Glover just very very consistent ball striking you know uh his weeks all revolve around putting uh and I thing you’ve seen shitty Putters win this event in the past very similar to what you see at Augusta right and that’s what Jack wants Jack wants that similarity to his favorite Course Augusta naal um so I think you can see that let’s move to the 6K range and sorry just to jump in quickly before you do that did you just did you just see how easy it was for you to Rattle off those names that are south of $7,500 which is your average remaining salary after Scotty Sheffer he’s going to be owned through the roof just after hearing you speak those names he’s gonna be very popular this week yeah I I I I think I might go Rory instead but I mean like I don’t know I don’t know I don’t know because because I mean if it’s anything like last I had like 53% Rory like I never go over 50% and I had him in cash right uh and in the $5 he was 47% not even single entry not even single entry like he was the only guy in the field Kenny that’s true that’s true it’s gonna be different this week I think it’ll probably be more spread out because of how the top guys have been playing Manna was at a golf course that he’d won at the last time they played there and at a golf course and at a event that he’s won multiple times you know it all made too much sense to go to Rory um it makes too much sense to go to Scotty again this week I mean for him to finish top three last year losing the amount of strikes he did putting he’ll be back in people’s lineups for uh if you got any gems down here I go my final cash game Cornerstone uh 6500 it’s going to be Lee Hodes uh you know Hodes uh back-to-back top 15 the 12th Place here last year iron game solid really good from 175 to 200 um so I do like leh he’ll be my final piece in my cash game course z got to have a punch I’m going to have those three studs up top which are going to be um hav at 102 more CWA at 98 Homa at 86 and uh Hodes at 65 wees you almost 15K uh to fill out the rest of your lineup you can go couple of 7K guys you can even go 8K and 6K if you’d like I got a couple 7K guys right near the middle that I’m playing I think it’s St is one of them we’ll see if Haron makes it uh to my lineup because I do like the upside because you’re going to see you know similar like like we’re going to see like European conditions all the weekend like cool right not like usually when you when you play this tournament it’s like 95 degrees in Cuban right it’s like 70 degrees on on on Friday like 70 degrees and like M and windy yeah and windy it’s like it’s gonna be weird uh seeing that at this course and that seems like you know harman’s won an Open Championship right uh so he should be duin it’s yeah it’s in Dublin yeah yeah that’s Dublin yeah other guys in the 6K range Andrew putam who finished top five here last year seems like he you can make a decent case for him Jake knp down there at 6,300 again a guy who tends to make a lot of cuts uh and you know he tends to get a lot of birdies when he makes those cuts uh someone to look at pendrith play very very good golf U at gr you know stat-wise he one of the best from 175 to 200 a lot of L iron play here he’s one of the best Victor Perez probably my favorite um really showed some metal uh last week with that Birdie on 18 uh you know he played very very well it’s the first time I’ve really seen his game um he’s man he’s a hell of a player he can bombing out there do his thing uh put pretty well at least from what I saw maybe the numbers overall don’t correlate to that but from what I saw uh with the few times I saw on Sunday man gu was putting his ass off uh so I can play him and see 6800 who do you like in a 6K J he he was $6,400 in round four Showdown and was 40% owned because of where he was on the leaderboard and then had the round he did like I never played him and he was aids to not have in your lineup so I like Taylor Mo I’m surprised you haven’t mentioned him he’s got a very similar profile to what arson erro does on these longer courses with long irons and out of the rough and drivers and stuff I like Taylor Moore a lot he 6,800 bucks Taylor pendrith and then Sheamus power kind of let us down a little bit last week he’s showing some some resolve some fight back in his game I think I don’t mind him at $6,300 that’s a very nice price tag for someone who can really can kind of help you get you know some salary relief in that range and then I’ve always played Nick Taylor you know he’s just gets disrespected in the price range and and when he pops he pops you know and that’s the thing so maybe he feels a little lit down after last week and and plays better but that would be like in in the bottom of my Barrel lineup so I didn’t even see him in the field where is he he’s 6,400 bucks apparently um we’ll see there but I don’t know um I’m I’m a fan of that sevenk range though a lot um yeah I’ll play little Justin Rose 6900 really good showing the last time out um you know again he could be the type of guy who can get uh gather a little bit momentum I think when he plays bad he continually plays bad uh so hopefully this sort of brings him back up after his last out he looked really good uh I don’t mind taking a risk on him at that price all right anybody else we need to mention that’s it for me Kenny I’m looking I’m really looking forward to this next stretch of golf man you know like the memorial the US Open it’s a nice little run all right
