and on the links day one of the Class 8 girls State Golf Tournament in South Dakota on the par 4th 7th it’s Dakota Valley’s Katie betsworth who reaches the bunker on her first shot she cleanly sweeps the ball out of the Trap and onto the green betsworth would have a look at birdie moments later this one breaks a little too left the panther though setting herself up for an easy tap in par to sit at 5 over on the par 3 eighth now betsworth another look at birdie this one just misses to the right but she tap in for par finishing seven over on the day betsworth and vermillion’s Ronnie wilharm both tied at fourth one stroke off the lead Vermillion tied for second in team scores
