The LIV Golf Tournament is all set to make it’s Houston debut this Friday at The Golf Club Of Houston, and it’s definitely going to be *the* golf event of the summer with some of the biggest names in the game. Lauren Kelly got to catch up with LIV’S Smash GC Team at Trill Burgers before they take the green this weekend.
the live golf tournament is making its Houston debut right here at the golf club of Houston this weekend I can’t believe it’s already here and you guys the biggest names in golf are going to be here in attendance and as of yesterday I got to chat with a couple of the bigname players on the smash GC team they made a stop at Trill Burgers ahead of this weekend’s events take a look look well in case you haven’t heard there’s a tiny little golf tournament in Houston making its debut this weekend at the golf club of Houston it is the live golf tournament and other guys you probably have heard of this is the smash team right here I’m so excited and leave it to Bun B to get them at Trill Burgers first of all I got to stop and start with you bun they got to come in and try Trill Burger first right I me you think about it we make Smash Burgers They smash it on the golf course this a match made heav I met Brooks last year man we hit it off real good and you know we tried to think of ways to how do we get this team Smash and the Smash Burgers together and then we realized Li was coming to Houston anyway Brooks was like we’ll stop by the store I’ll bring the team and we’ll show up and show out all right well well Brooks you said that you were playing with bun what’s what’s Bun’s handicap uh he did all right we played down down in Floridan a couple months ago man he did all right he was good he was good yeah he was better than I expected he you got a good swing hey have any of you guys ever been to Houston besides playing in the tournament Taylor have you ever been here before I have last time I was here was uh when Houston beat Phillies from the World Series a couple years ago so okay as long as you were here for a win right that’s right that’s right all right so I want to talk about the burger Jason you just tasted the Smash Burger on a scale of one to four what do you give it one to four see what you did there four all day that’s funny all right as far as snacks go on the golf course Graham is there anything specific you’ve got in your golf bag on the course yeah I’m not sure the OG Burger is kind of really going to inspire me much for the bach N I might need to I might need to take a I might need a nap afterwards but uh now it’s amazing obviously fun to be here in the H Houston commity hang out with Bun B and uh really cool stuff but uh I’ll save the OG burger for post round okay for post round yeah the back nine right the back nine all right Brooks happy anniversary yeah thank you thank you I know celebrating on the golf course what do you expect from the Houston crowd do you think that it’s going to be a good vibrant crowd for you guys this week again I think it will I think it’ll be good A lot of these guys haven’t been back in Houston in a long time played golf in front of the fans we got a good golf Community here and it’s uh it’ll be fun we’re excited for the week and hopefully everybody shows up shows out yeah Taylor can you do a non-rain dance for us because we’ve had some nasty weather over the last two weeks hey I’m from Oklahoma we don’t get much weather better weather back home so hope hey we we’ll be good this week we’ll be good Jason uh Happy Gilmore or catty Shack o uh catty Shack okay Grandma what about you yeah I’m kotty Shack guy it’s all about tradition you know that’s that’s the OG we’re in the right place right speaking of OG you got the OG tra right here I’m not going to ask it Buon thank you so much smash team thank you guys for coming golf club of Houston this weekend the live golf tournament is happening and best of luck you guys do you have a team chant or like a get ready to go we need one I don’t think we I don’t think we could say it on camera oh just just whispered I want to hear that thank you guys so much have a great time while you’re here that’s good
