so we see lots of golfers that when they swing the golf club kind of get this kind of underturned bent lead arm look in the back swing we want to feel like we can turn and keep the lead arm straightish some Bend is absolutely fine let’s not be over critical one of the reasons this arm bends is because we tend to grip it sometimes in the palm of our hand so if I grip the golf club say somewhere like this that will make my arm want to bend because my wrist won’t be cocking or loading in the correct place so the elbow takes the brunt to the force so gripping in the fingers holding the club on my shoulder and then taking my grip with my fingers like this is a great way to feel am I holding the club in the right place making sure I can use the club with ease like a kind of hammer action like I’m knocking the nail in is also a great way of checking if the grip’s in the right location
