hey guys welcome back to Modern golf I hope you’re having a great day and even better week today we’re talking about the king of high-end golf bags has now come out with its own high-end golf glove that’s right vessel has now come out with their own glove not a G4 branded glove but their own glove to compete really with the entire Market uh what amazes me we’ll get into this here shortly is what has happened to the golf glove industry in the last couple years we had FootJoy and these guys dominating and now we have a thousand different manufacturers all making phenomenal golf gloves um I am here for it but today let’s talk about my friends uh and one of my favorite brands in all of golf vessel Golf and their new golf glove I have been testing and I have a crew of six guys that we work with they’ been testing all different gloves this year um a lot of different brands some good some bad some indifferent but this one really surprised me um vessel golf as you guys know makes super high-end um some would say the best um golf bags in the industry um I hold my judgment I am a vessel Fanboy um so I absolutely love everything vessel does uh and this glove to no surprise to anyone hasn’t shocked me negatively um phenomenal phenomenal glove so let’s talk about sizing fit pricing and then we’ll get out of your way and then you can uh go on with your rounds of golf this week so so fitting I’m normally a medium in most golf gloves uh depending on the brand I’ve never really gotten to a large um and I’ve never really been a small so I’ve kind of been a medium hand some manufacturers Cadet some don’t uh vessel only does this in small I believe medium large and extra large I do not believe as of today uh which is in early June of 2024 they have a Cadet version yet with all that said this is a $40 glove this is not a cheap golf glove what I tell everybody is the old days of buying a $9 golf glove and it lasting you a round or two and then buying another one listen I can look at my golf bag today and I probably have five or six gloves um I don’t know why because these gloves last way longer than they ever do than they ever used to um so we’ll particularly talk about this one so it’s a medium what I love what vessel has done is very minuscule branding this is not screaming um you know a certain brand it’s very Tastefully done even the little vessel logo here is good the U debossed or embossed however which way you want to look at this inside out or outside they’ve done a really nice job with this glove very Tastefully done and it does not Shock Me this is all vessel does is high quality tasteful products this is AAA cabretta leather maybe the best leather glove you can buy um it smells incredibly good I actually have two of these I wore one uh what’s today Sunday War one Friday and Saturday um let’s get into the specific so medium fits me like a champ okay absolutely love the fit super soft leather um almost has it’s white but it almost has a grayish Hue to it and again that’s the natural U pigment of the leather I will say I worn this Friday and Saturday I I’m in love with this golf glove I think it may be the top one to three gloves in the glove industry already they are that good um I will tell you the longevity I I’ll put pictures up of my other one that I’ve worn twice um two rounds uh humid weather they look like I’ve never hit a golf ball with them before um they’re that good tiny bit of wear and tear um they are phenomenal vessel again has hit it out of the park with another product um if you haven’t had a chance I highly suggest um checking out their gloves really really really good golf gloves I don’t know if other colors are down the road I’m assuming they are working on that but if you haven’t had a chance and they just launched about a week or so ago check out vessel golf’s new gloves they are really good I tell you what I love about vessel which cracks me up cuz I’ve boughten a thousand products of theirs um and every time they send you this kind of booklet um of all the quality they call it their Journal um and it shows you kind of who designs their stuff what it’s all about um you know all their bags all the different functions they have uh pickle ball um I will tell you I’m a pickle ball guy and I actually use their backpack I think it’s the best pickle ball bag you can buy uh I don’t use this pickle ball one I actually use a their backpack and I’ll put pictures up um it’s phenomenal but vessel is so good the players air again not my favorite vessel bag of the year um but I still like it I still use it um it’s right over here uh so if you haven’t and long story short if you haven’t had a chance to check out the vessel Golf Club check it out I think it’s going to be mind-blowing for you guys it’s literally in the top three um I’m excited to see how this evolves um and congrats to everyone The Vessel team for doing this again not sponsored not paid for um we love testing gloves and so Was looking at their xv lux bag today, and saw the glove. Really peaked my interest, but 40 bucks is steep, I love the footjoy players glove at $40 bucks too, but it’s done after3 rounds here in Florida. So my standard go to has been the under armour iso chill, maybe I’ll try the vessel if you think it longer lasting than footjoy?
