Insane Full Suspension BMX Vs Bike Park!

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you combined a BMX and an MTB? WeThePeople did, and the Swamp Master full suspension BMX is their answer! With his love for BMX, this was one that Blake Samson wanted to try out, so he headed off to @BikeParkWalesOfficial to see what it could do! Would it handle the jumps of A470 and Enter The Dragon as well as the tech Black-graded trails like Dai Hard?

welcome back You Beautiful People this is what happens when another type of cycling discipline gets inspired by downhill mountain biking is this a We the People swamp Master damn [Applause] oh boy oh my goodness me man look at this crazy horse actually I wouldn’t say it’s a horse I would say it’s a shat and pony this thing is beautiful actually let us know in the comments down below is it a nice or a super nice because I think it’s super nice man I’m first glance when you look at this bike you you’re introduced with these Massive Tires these are 2.6 knobbly tires from Kenda they’re the chaos sport tires front and rear 20 in but then you’ve got these Forks here are designed for younger Riders but these ones have been Custom Modified for the adult Riders to take out all the pounding that you’re going to give this bike out there on the trail so it’s 100 Mil of travel and then on the front you’ve got the iconic bar that comes with a BMX you got the highrise with a cross bar there and then we’ve got the brakes which I think is pretty Overkill because they’re hydraulic they’re Haze dominions I’ve got them on my hard tail and they are super powerful and bring them onto a smaller wheel like this woo man you got some stuffing power from that we’re going to move to the rear which is pretty unique because this is not a BMX part right here this is 66 mil of travel on the rear from a rock shock monic and the cool thing about this there’s a pivot point in the BB here which is concentric it doesn’t look like there’s a pivot point there but it’s all built into the BB right let’s talk about geometry stats now this is between a BMX and a mountain bike now it’s a little bit slacker than a park and a street ordinary BMX but that’s going to make it a little bit easier when it’s coming to high speed but it’s a lot steeper than an ordinary mountain bike but that makes it a little bit easier to do stunts on that’s why a bike like my propane spin drift is around 64° head angle but this thing is quite a lot steeper at 71° that’s still less than a street or a park BMX which would normally be around 74 or 75° now this thing weighs in at 14.5 kg which is roughly about 31.9 lb which is pretty light but it’s still heavy for a bmx I think that’s enough chat about the thing let’s go ride it what better place to ride this absolute Beast than bike park whales The Proven grounds of everything that I’ve made built and bought thinking it’s funky and uh this is funky and I’m going to give it a go and A4 70 has just had a revamp it’s all about jumps which I’m all about and this thing is all about that as well all right first run let’s go there dropping in oh chees [Music] do love [Music] it oh this sections flat out double double double roller Gap in gap manual man this thing is sweet it’s smooth well we’ve come to a trail that’s a flow Trail there’s loads of rollers which you can double up for example this section right here this one you have to jump but you got roller roller roller you can just double double double double and then you double into a turn oh just got to get used to how small the front is how steep it is but apart from that it runs smooth it’s fast and it is Nimble it’s very Twitchy but I know that cuz I did BMX racing for a day so I’m a professional so I know what I’m [Music] doing ex up just flat table oh no for [Music] cat oh my gosh oh bit rough oh yeah d there’s something weird about sat on a BMX on a mountain bike trail with these bars you’re like oh man I’m going to be riding some dirt jumps nah we’re going to go hit some big jumps we’re at the bottom section of a470 and uh they get bigger they get bigger as they get down but this is a nice warmup to Enter the Dragon which is the big jumps up the top you got this one right here which is vantal line which is shut these are the biggest ones here but I don’t don’t favor my chances on that but I’m glad it’s shut so we’re going to go and do we’re GNA go Enter the Dragon and then go hit uh a black Trail something that’s a bit more horrible for these little tires to get sucked up in so I might go and do a black Trail anyway ready holding on De life oh oh my [Music] God weird I brought my son’s bike with me there we go it fits [Music] oh here we go oh that’s fast that’s Twitchy and they big I cased out thinking no I’m going too fast and I landed just on top man it’s when the bike goes quick it gets Twitchy obviously CU it’s a small bike 20in wheels narrow wheelbase nothing like a mountain bike nothing like that spin drift of mine anyway we’re on Enter the Dragon thought I just coming in blind to see what it’s like and uh I’m going to do it again the top section is really cool and then literally into the woods all the longest like fly offs they’re like big step Downs they’re actually quite far big long races I do that again I was a bit tight got goosebumps it was quite scary didn’t know what to expect from a little bike like this I’d do it again did you just do that on enter yeah all yeah through the woods and that but that’s it’s so rad wow that’s like every kid’s dream thank you oh you’re welcome dude you’re welcome [Music] [Applause] oh be J wo all right so we’ve hit jumps the BMXs are built for jumps Street Park for doing stunts and all that rad Jazz now when you bring it to a mountain bike park Like Bike Park Wales a470 incredible job what they’ve done there building all those obstacles and rollers and jumps this thing thrives on that it’s absolutely it’s epic fun on this and then you come to these oversized big jumps Enter the Dragon which have big mellow takeoffs big gaps especially when you drop into the woods it’s flat out gas it is incredibly fun on this it’s a bit Twitchy a bit sketch you can’t do some drastic Maneuvers as you would on a a big free ride bike like my propane spin Drift But it’s enough of that because this bike is built for jumps um I think we should do mountain bike stuff because it’s a full suspension so let’s go and hit die hard and not die hard all right dropping in rough [Music] stuff rough stuff here we come Dy like this section my favorite oh not grippy no gripping the tires nice oh oh my didon oh right we’re getting there oh my bloody [Music] twitchiness incredible Woodlands I love it single track Trails it’s flat out you’re going fast you got amped amount of grip with your tires you trust in your bike and then you ride this you ride this you ride this down this stuff and you will world has turned upside [Music] down you twitchiness here oh my flipping goodness me [Music] who whoa oh my weapons [Music] yeah the g off Yeah Boy Yes man this thing rides really good right Street this is the St stair set of Doom but this is like a two- stepper I’m going to basically hop all the way down to Flat proper Street let’s have a [Music] go it’s basically a flat drop I landed at the bottom last street right they just do stair sets to Flat how big can you go and that’s just big because I’m going to go today and I’ve got a full suspension bike right let’s go to room Dinger oh it’s the clues in the name it dings rims Rim Dinger it’s rough oh my [Music] God it only gets [Music] rougher oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh my goodness me and I got py got puncture have I got puncture no what have I I don’t know oh boy oh man oh man go puncture hey to told you cluing the name Rim Dinger never ceases to disappoint me it’s absolutely flat out on that section there’s so many rocks there that’ll catch you out and it did catch me out right here I gutted but hey I’ve had an absolute ball riding this beach today look I’m an AB sweaty mess I need some lunch I need a cup of tea some water but hopefully you’ve enjoyed this video a bit of entertainment for you and an Insight of what BMX full suspension bikes are all about let us know if you want to see more of this rig on the channel maybe a few more different challenges huh anyway hopefully you enjoyed it give us a thumbs up like and I’ll see you next time see you

  1. What trails would you like to try on the full-suspension BMX? Let us know in the comments below!

  2. I've had my swampmaster for a few months now and it is definitely a wild ride. I can hit decently big drops with my street bike and almost double it with the swampmaster. although I have had the same problem with the tire punctures. I just threw some higher pressure kenda slant 6s on there and it rides like a dream.

  3. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡its sad you didn't even say the name of Ruben Alcantara, who is the creator of this time of beast. And is amazing how you even say a word of that and give all the credits to we the people.🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
before to post something you should made some research..

  4. had a custom one for a couple years, always fun when you turn up at the bikepark and get some looks of the mtb crew.. then hit main line haha

  5. its like Bmx but with added safety with the suspension which opens up riding bike parks on A bmx.. had to ditch the front brake though as its lethal plus feels more bmx with just a back brake!

  6. If you really need to ride this just get a mtb, stupidest thing ive ever seen no wonder the bmx industry is dying

  7. Heaven forbid that it does not have 29” wheels, long travel, and the geometry……let’s not go there. Just proves it truly doesn’t matter to most people.
