  1. Decent game of rugby & good coverage but… the kit clash was daft considering the same manufacturer using the same template and two of the three colours were the same for both teams. If I was the ref I wouldn't have allowed it, I think it shows up bad on the telly.

  2. Bloody kit sponsors should sort themselves out on the clash, especially after that Moana Pasifika game in Tonga.

  3. If head contact is such a big problem why do we not start wearing head gear like the USA Football. At least we will see less penalties and yellow cards which kill the game. We have been blowing this head contact for a few years now and it has not helped to create less head contact. It has only succeeded in killing the game. A world cup where 14 play against 15. A waste of time looking at it and the team that won can not even be proud of being world champs.

  4. Commentators are living in a bygone age, the second yellow could have and potentially should have been a red, only mitigation is the attacker is spinning but the 12 was always high.

  5. Who was responsible for such a choice of jersey? The two teams can hardly be distinguished from each other. Catastrophe.

  6. Super Rugby taking the game to the next level by putting 30 players with the same kit on the pitch. But surely it must be us Europeans not ready for so much innovation!

  7. 2 minute 10 second mark Hurricanes try scorer clearly swinging his arm at defensive players head but nothing is done. Are refs this blind, is TV ref blind? In any international game this will get referral, why not now. Hurricanes would've still won, but these are things that can effect games.

  8. A yellow card for that 😂😂😂😂😂 man what happened to rugby. Used to be tough. I hear rugby league is still a manly sport.

  9. This game exemplifies why refs and officials really need to get over the constant vid ref interference. The game could have been so much better with common sense applied. How in God's green garden is a player suppose to change their momentum within a second or two? It's beyond physics. There's a real crisis developing in what we accept as being rugby. It's getting to the point where we ask the vid ref what he feels like today to find out how many players will be on the field. It must be an utter nightmare for the coaching staff.
Apart from that nonsense the Canes are still looking hot after a tough campaign and the Highlanders have defo improved. Some great talent on display.

  10. These YCs are an effing joke. Question. Have the cards stopped "high" tackles? I'd almost bet my house all it's done is reduce numbers on the field.

  11. Good game. But it baffles me how the people running the game allow two such similar kits onto the field. Does nobody check this stuff out beforehand? Especially when teams seem to be so quick to change into a non-traditional alternate jersey even when there is no possible clash, and then unnecessarily change to coloured jerseys and dark shorts that obviously clash! Do the rugby admin people actually watch the game?

  12. I think the odds are getting better for the Brumbies. Both the Blues and Hurricanes can be pretty brittle at times and just clock off for a whole half now and then. They'll dominate the first half and then go missing for the second.
