The PGA TOUR heads to Toronto this week for the RBC Canadian Open at Hamilton Golf & Country Club. This week is one of the last opportunities to earn a spot in the upcoming U.S. Open at Pinehurst and to qualify for the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday in seven days’ time. Nick Taylor returns after a playoff win at the 2023 RBC Canadian to become the first Canadian to win his national open in 69 years. He claimed victory at the WM Phoenix Open in February and leads all Canadians in the Official World Golf Ranking (30th). Rory McIlroy will also be in the field this week. He is the most recent winner at Hamilton Golf & Country Club, which hosted the Canadian Open in 2019. The Northern Irishman claimed back-to-back wins before finishing T12 in his return to Valhalla for the PGA Championship. Tommy Fleetwood will also tee it up in Toronto this week. He came up short against Nick Taylor last year after losing to a 72-foot eagle putt in the playoff. He has never finished outside the top-10 in two starts in Canada but is looking for his first top-10 payday on TOUR since a T3 at the Masters. Others to look out for are Sahith Theegala, Shane Lowry and Tom Kim.

ad IR maybe throwing this very high in the air this is right at it oh great shot yeah he went after that one I up say that was just a good Flatout eight iron there for Rory maroy to the par five you start here on the fourth hole this putt for Eagle yeah um yeah it was nice I haven’t played the par fivs very well this week so to to make Eagle there was nice but was nice to to make Eagle there and then the t- box is up on five today so hit a three-wood just short of the green and um yeah pretty pretty simple pretty good birdie look just inside the right Edge so he goes Eagle birdie at four and [Applause] five oh he got a good read took advantage of it Well Done Tom uh uphill on seven this was a nine iron um it was good it just flew the bunker on and hit this Fringe and um trundled down there and um you know that was that was played well uh nine three were down to the bottom of the hill um this was just a little uh sort of 3/4 sound wedge in there trying to take the spin off it um you know my wedge plays been been getting better and better just keeping it inside that left Edge come on in he has got it and Rory mroy goes out in [Music] 30 does get enough speed so fun to see him start make some putts that’s really well judged right there here’s Rory maroy and that is birdie number four coming off that boogy at 10 and the par at 11 maroy gets it back on the rails and he now is only three back of the lead as we go back to 14 Tom Kim for birdie would have gotten a pretty good look from Rory [Applause] oh he read it well how about that Tom Kim up ahead at the eighth as we’re stand on the front side Tommy Fleetwood Bird’s on two three and four out out another circle on the scorecard watching him warm up today he was absolutely peering it on the Range and if he can get that putter going he could make a big move today as well this pin way back he’s got a lot of green to work with but it still takes a pretty precise shot to land it in the correct spot to chase it all the way back to this pin see if we’ll have some Chase how good is that from Rory [Applause] maroy this is going just a hair left of that flag actually cutting right back at it oh it was worth the wait what a shot from Tom Kim now up to 17 this is the third shot for Tom km accessible pin here in the front left part of this 17th green we’re going to see some Eagle looks today that’s a great shot from Tom Kim right below the hole Tom Kim answering the Bell playing with Rory mooy [Music] yeah good look here coming up the hill just moving a little bit to his right oh this looks good FOX NOW 11 under par McKenzie Hughes has this for Birdie the key though is hitting the Fairway and he wasn’t able to do that off the T oh somehow that will erase that we jot down a four on the scorecard his first birdie in this third round he’s now at 8 under par and as we said that back right pin today very accessible you can see it just on the left edge of that camera Tower in the distance but he got ahead of this with his lower body leave that out to the right never mind great kick in there you got high standards not too bad from Joel Damon kick in Eagle second shot for Ryan Fox to the parf five huge t- shot just an eight iron left from 185 and this is all over it Beauty from Fox right over the stick yeah that put came up a good 15 ft short Wills that one in look like a four the whole way Ryan Fox the leader has this for Eagle he looks to be in complete control of his game guys Fox walks it in what a start it’s now three under through four at 13 under leading by three while he goes through his aim Point routine we’re going to head up to the ninth Ben Griffin putting for birdie three under parar on his day nice way to make that turn going out in 31 second shot for Ben Griffin a few of these pins on the back n tucked way back and with the danger on some of these back pins as everything falls off in behind so easy to leave it short of these holes that’s a nice aggressive play Griffin keeping the pedal to the metal after going out in 31 about Ben Griffin this could get him a share of second yeah such a great little wedge shot in here this is one of the few holes in the back nine you put it in the Fairway becomes a birdie hole he is feeling it five deep on the round hell hello Roberts welcome to the party here on Saturday at the RBC Canadian open maybe that will shake things loose for the man from Scotland what a shot was on the plane the next morning and what a week they’re having just to get to 10 under you can hear those Canadian fans they doing this golf course at [Music] 15 Canadian Cory Connors got to control the spin here would you call that control I would that’s a plus just another yard past that it feeds well off the green into some rough and it’s Ben Griffin broke the read into thirds first third is uphill then it flattens off got potential oh my goodness what I bought for the pride of Chapel Hill North [Applause] Carolina don’t miss for short here spin ball birdi this hole yesterday perhaps two in a row only seen five birdies all day here at 14 and a good line right here oh very good line and the smiling face of Ben Griffin that is three-wood from 270 is front and hit on the button 170 ball speed there with the three-wood walking after it and why wouldn’t he [Music] how about [Applause] that putting dad to work there tending the flag hey Dad’s doing a heck of a job dad come on now I starting to get concerned if he was going to pull the stick in time now has the leap on one as we go to 17 171 bll speed Oh Canada does this look good in the airan oh have we seen some shots in here at 17 fantastic McKenzie Hughes knocked it in there slide all the way void the false front will come back to short that was a committed swing oh right on the money obviously can’t see it over to you Frank you all picked a long time ago this for three in a row and does [Applause] [Applause] it coming in here with three in a row but birdies got
