This CRAZY Cheap driver Will TRANFORM GOLF FOREVER For The BETTER! In 2024 when buying new golf clubs we are always looking for the best budget golf clubs, the best forgiving golf clubs, and even the best CHEAP forgiving golf clubs. But in a world where the best mid handicap golf clubs are generally by companies like Taylor made, Ping and Callaway what about if we try a golf club that is brand new but also mega cheap and I think the most forgiving golf club of 2024, and even better yet, potentially the best forgiving driver of 2024, best budget driver of 2024 and best high handicap driver of 2024!?

for the ridiculous price of this new driver it could be absolutely rubbish and I still think it would be worth a mention for a review hi everyone my name is James Robinson and welcome back to this YouTube channel now I’ve already tested this driver in the studio and you will not believe what I found check this out now 160 ball speed especially considering that is the price and that’s not a sale price the price is the price and you may know on this channel I really enjoy reviewing golf products that can save you money but also help your golf gam so introducing the brand new McGregor Vmax speed driver this is a funny one because I’m not a huge fan of the looks of this driver I’ll get out there now it very much reminds me of the old Nike Victory red range 10 1 half degre and it doesn’t look I’ll say it doesn’t look overly premium that looks like a loading bar actually I’ve just just thought that but they’ve taken a lot of really good ideas from a lot of really good golf clubs by the look of it and morph them all into one very forgiving driver by the way did I mention this is ridiculously cheap we’re going to talk numbers in a second but now let’s hit it on the golf course see how it performs in the elements I actually quite like that loading bar at the back because it shows you just how much head size you’ve got to work with and fills you with a bit of confidence looking at the size of this head the V on the face don’t know don’t know not too sure about that but if that’s all I’ve got to worry about realistically it’s quite towed in so it’s definitely for the golf that potentially misses the ball to the right Alida Chris tells me that means to the right can we play some nice drives around this corner cuz sound and feels important as well so that’s why I like testing them out on the course first and that’s literally the perfect Drive I didn’t tell you where that ball came out of on this face probably because I’m about to show you but that ball fly it sounded a little bit tiny a little bit almost thin but then for the price it’s not going to sound like a Callaway AI smoke Paradigm it’s not going to sound like a stealth 2 or a qi1 or a pxg 0311 tour because you could buy about four of these for one of them but when I look back at that ball flight and I look at how far that’s gone down the Fairway look where that came out of like really that’s the first shot of it outside with this driver and that’s what it’s giv me it’s giving me a fairway we’ll decide how far it’s gone when we get down there and have a proper look in the Fairway but can we hit a couple of Fairways with this I already know that numbers you’re going to be very interested by and I’m really interested by the price I’m going to keep saying it the price is absurd looking down it I think you could get used to it same shot again please that’s even better that’s that’s fading back that’s like the tiger line with a little bit of fade that was that was okay so that was slightly more Central um and I don’t think those white t marks will come off very easily because it doesn’t look like that kind of Club but what kind of Club it looks like is saving you a lot of money I can’t wait to see how close they are together and I can’t wait to talk to you I can’t wait for everything the whole range by the way the V I keep want to call it V foil but it’s not the Vmax speed range wow I saw it advertised on Facebook Marketplace had to have a go with them and I’m really glad I am doing because the driving N I absolutely love I would have discounted this driver purely on looks but again I’m glad I didn’t because that was a Healy one as well now that’s got no right to be anywhere near the first two and I’m glad I’ve hit that because yes it’s nice talking numbers it’s nice saying yes this driver you can hit a long way if hit it out of the middle but realistically how many people who are buying this drive are going to consistently hit it out of the middle not because of the price point but because of the demographic it looks like it’s set for with the tech that’s in it and how it’s set up let’s get down there and see where theyve finished now can we just talk about the sound that that driver made that driver sounds really good it doesn’t sound a carbon effect it doesn’t sound like a ping it doesn’t sound like a tight list it sounds you know what it sounds like a McGregor and McGregor looked like they’re trying to really get into the market here and go come back with a bang cuz I’ve seen some of the clubs that have lined up probably more premium clubs clubs for more the mid to low handicap golfer but if you’re going to come in with those and that’s your starting point to really get back into the the market and Market them heavily fair play to you fair play to you and you can see we have three balls in this Fairway two of them right down its throat they’re ridiculous drives this is the white te by the way and I’m probably hitting a normal driver that all day long anyway and the M hit with the heel is just further back but still in the Fairway who should buy this because I’ve just hit those there it feels fairly comfortable it feels i w say easy cuz no golf shot’s easy especially for me with the driver don’t let ego get in the way let’s have a look at some numbers and then let’s take on a slightly more difficult driving hole and see if these are good value I always say good value means you can’t believe the price it works for you’re really happy with it or cheap and we all know what cheap means nobody likes cheap for £129 I couldn’t wait to get this driver in here and test it that’s gone so much better than all the others to see how well it performs how well should it perform I usually hit a driver around 270 280 depending on the day this thing at this price brand new yes it holds a massive brand name in McGregor McGregor was using used in the past last some of the world’s best golfers somehow I don’t think they’ be using this but then for a beginner I love that quest for fantastic budget clubs as you know I do with the Tacomo the Costco the Kirkland all that kind of stuff the Cali clubs are fantastic 11 as well I take my hat off to them so with this club it’s not in my specs it’s a regular flex shaft and that went really well but I’ve set it on three I am not driver you absolutely more on 300 yards that one and what we’re trying not to do here is really set myself up too much for a failure that one’s going a little bit left the shaft does feel a little bit soft but it’s carried 252 it’s running up to 270 yards Back Spin was 2,400 two did I say that right yeah anyway but my bad shots do go left anyway and that actually like I’m I’m managing to where’s that going that’s 247 running up to 270 again it’s 10 and a half degree you don’t get any adjustability as we’ve spoken about outside but I’m actually managing here just to just kind of Pat them down I’m not trying to smash it into next week I’m not trying to get 165 ball speed or anything silly like that I’m just trying to put a SW oh that was a very bad swing I’m just trying to put a swing on it that with realistically someone who would be looking at this driver would putting on it maybe a beginner golfer somebody who’s doesn’t want to spend a fortune on the golf clubs but wants something brand new and we can all relate to that where did that go still 250 still 250 let’s control that face a bit more check this out now 160 ball speed 260 carry 285 yards total and it’s a nice shot to compare this I think against anything twice or three times or four times its price probably wouldn’t be fair but you’ve seen there that if I put a pretty good relaxed golf swing on it I could actually really start to get this thing going nicely I think dispersion wise it’s always going to be hit a Miss just with the shaft that’s in here but again that’s 250 yards spinning in the 2000s which I don’t mind too much at all and that came out the toe looking at the replay as well so let’s get back on the golf course and let’s see just how good this is value for money and bang for book it feels really good actually 2708 okay so as a lot of you may know and if you don’t you’re about to find out I absolutely despise this t-shot not because it’s a horrible t-shot because uh it is a God awful horrible t- shot into the wind with a water on the left and trees on the right and a dog leg to the right just I just don’t like it so attempting it with a golf club that costs this much might not only come across as a little bit daed but to that head like the head cover is a little bit a little bit cheap na I’m not going to lie to that’s gone so far that way in the wind stop stop we might have lost the head cover but it might come across the da but this is where I want to test this club and see just if it can work for me can we hit it into the wind without it ballooning up I’m going have to get that head coverwise I won’t have anything to put on it head in the game come on we’re going to try and play these a little bit lower than normal although the first shots weren’t bad to say it’s 10 and 1 12 degree regular feel like you can work them this is a preure situation and that it’s not low but it is a glorious ball flight that’s just short of the 150 marker this hole measures 429 yards it’s stroking next five it is the fifth hardest hole on this golf course the headcover is making a run for it again and we managed to hit it just can just see there just off the Fairway shy of the 150 M probably about 180 in there into the wind like value for MoneyWise is this better than most things we’ve seen so far far this year if we’re talking Awards for Best Value um I mean it really does it fills me with confidence I haven’t been playing that well recently I certainly haven’t been hitting driver that well so getting a driver that’s designed to be a little bit more forgiving potentially could help me but a driver of this price that’s designed to be probably a lower quality I think we can say I think McGregor would think that’s a fair comment wow can we the same again just a little bit lower keep fading back it’s not got a lot of movement on it I quite like that like I’m aiming that’s like 10 15 short of the other one actually that was a little bit higher spin probably lower out the face but I like that it’s not moving massively in the air I think it’s probably doing what it’s designed to do I’m trying to play a bit of a fade there and it’s trying to hang on it’s trying to trying to not move let’s go straight down the middle this time see if really test out that logic a little bit oh yeah oh yeah they’re going to be so close together and honestly if I was looking for a fantastic brand new affordable driver that gives me quite a lot of forgiveness I don’t think i’ be looking much further than the McGregor Vmax speed driver and I must say this would be the driver that would potentially worry me with this driver if you don’t quite get it if you do get low on the face and you get that excess spin you can see we’re quite a way further behind the other two there but realistically for the price I keep
