[Music] all right Matt Gan jur we are back you’re you’re actually our jurs now officially you’re back in New Jersey for the summer so I think I’ll just call you Jers now for the rest of the podcast throughout the rest of the summer instead of going with Matt Ganon uh we’ve got some difficult news to talk through probably of the gates but before we get to that uh how you doing all right it was a hopefully a fun Memorial Day weekend for you and for our listeners the golf was overshadowed by some stuff but from a a completely golf standpoint was fairly boring uh it was could have been a great finish a holy a whole bunch of guys but the one of the greatest golfers on the planet Davis Riley ran away with the thing like we all thought he would uh yeah just a not the best golf watching weekend he was kind of in the lead the whole time and just never no one really G gave no one else a shot yeah and we’ll we’ll get to the golf in a second I didn’t watch too much of the final round so might need your uh tell me what happened in the final round I watched a reasonable amount of actually I didn’t watch a reasonable amount of the third round I watched a a reasonable amount of the first two rounds I would say but yeah wanted to start with obviously the really sad news about Grayson Murray over the weekend it was crazy because you and I just last week or two weeks ago at the PGA Championship you had mentioned to me that you had just heard from someone who like knew Grayson or kind of in his camp that he was playing the best golf of his career like everyone was really excited going into the PGA just like and then for this news to come out it really just I mean obviously anytime somebody dies tragic like sucks awful news but it was to me just it’s so rare I feel like where we have a story of someone who is like really down and then it looks like they’re on their way out of it and then like the worst case scenario happens like I feel like we only ever hear stories of like in ascendant somebody going from like a bad situ to a good situation or somebody just kind of on the downward and they never get out of it and like something bad happens so I just think it’s so rare that there’s these stories of like the up and then the down um but I also feel like that’s probably what happens more often than not in the real world and we don’t hear those stories so I hope this is a you know powerful reminder to people that when you’re in that space it doesn’t really matter what you accomplish what you do next like it’s a daily battle um and I just thought it was such a rare moment where we kind of see the up and down that really made it hit home maybe more than a lot of stories that I can think of uh recently yeah I mean life is real clearly he was dealing with some things that he never fully solved and I mean what more could you ask for you’re a professional golfer making more money than a lot of people in the world and clearly something wasn’t right but uh it’s no one no one’s fault no one’s to blame but just a crazy thing that happens in life and uh probably never end so it will happen again with some Sport with some everyone’s dealt with something like this at least close to them in their town and their family it’s a shame but it is what it is he he’ll his family is I feel bad for them feel horrible them and they’ll all they’ll all move on Life Will Go On and just hopefully it doesn’t happen too soon again yeah and like I said I think the it was a great reminder of something that probably doesn’t get talked about enough that it like when you’re that in that state of like depression or upset about your life like people I think in January like he wins the tournament everybody is like his life’s back on track like everything’s gonna be great it’s like crazy those things don’t like I’ve struggled at times with like certain things and oftentimes it doesn’t even matter like what you’re doing or what you accomplish like it doesn’t matter like it’s how you feel about yourself like it can just pop up anytime so really tragic thing and hopefully allows everybody to uh just remember to check in on people even if you think they’re doing great or like from the outside it looks like they’re doing great because you have zero idea really what’s going on with any person no matter really how close you are to them uh so I just wanted to start there just because like I said it’s something that I’ve run into a times Zone life just like the highest and Lowe’s and uh I think it’s an important chance anytime we get to to talk about those things and and bring them up even if it’s obviously a hard thing so uh wanted to start there and give a a shout out obviously to his family and uh it sounded like they wanted the tournament to go on it sounded like the PJ I saw people kind of like [ __ ] on the PJ tourn it’s like they literally asked the family the family said that they that that’s what they wanted the tournament to go on and the result of that tournament was a Davis Riley of all people I think you could have given me you could have let me pick 50 guys at any odds to win the tournament I’m almost positive I would not have had Davis Riley inside of my top 50 guys I know we didn’t talk about him at all we didn’t write him up at all we like usually talk about a lot of guys yeah he uh what I wanted to say about Davis Riley is everybody talks about how beautiful his golf swing is like it’s it’s always like oh look at Davis Riley’s golf swing I actually hate his golf swing and this because of how like it is the most robotic like it’s like he read a textbook of how to do a golf swing and then each week it’s like a battle to see if he can line up the textbook and that’s why you get these just like most of the weeks he’s losing an insane number of strokes and like he’s hitting balls out of bounds he’s hitting balls in the water like it is not a good golf swing a good golf swing is a swing that you can bring to the course repeatedly and quickly like solve things to me he is just like it’s like Legos and every once in a while all the Legos stack up correctly but most of he doesn’t know how to like solve it if it goes off but for four days he was on he’s played well here before a stunning Victory to me but I’m not buying any Davis Riley like long term stock but he clearly when all the Lego pieces get stacked up can pop and play really well in wi golf tournaments yeah speaking of that like you say he has a great looking golf swing and he’s probably a generational range player uh but I I was talking to my buddies about golf like no one ever will feel how they feel from the range to the course and golf is just a battle of feels battling with different feels that you’re not going to feel on the Range you’re not going to feel from day to day because and then you just have to hope rely on instincts and like practice to just take over and deal with it because you’ll never ever ever going to feel how you feel in the range and uh I guess that kind of led to Davis Riley not really stacking good results and did you happen to look at his incoming form I tweeted about it last night he was losing he lost nine Strokes on a pro or nine Strokes ball striking and three consecutive starts combined and pop for 11 Strokes ball striking out of nowhere like it just that doesn’t happen yeah I mean the only way you could have like seen it coming is that he has always hit his iron good at Schwab like in he missed the cut last year but for whatever reason he likes the way that the approach shots look at Schwab and he had gained eight in his first appearance he gained two before missing the cut last year and then obviously he gained eight against this again this year but yeah there was nothing in his incoming that would have pointed to that but I guess the only thing you could have thought was like okay this is a guy who’s highly volatile with his approach play like it’s never consistent from him and now he comes to a course where he has been consistent at least a couple of times he was second in the field I was like writing up Canada this week and deleting what was written for uh Schwab and I saw that I had written him up as the second in the field career approach numbers at Schwab like that’s the only Jordan uh I don’t remember who one it somebody H I think it was it might have been Scotty I think it might have been Scotty but sense either way like completely random in my opinion winner and another example of in these lesser field events EV we talked about it last week like the big tournaments are being won by one of the top three to five guys on the odds board pretty much every single time and now these these random events it like completely Vibes like build a 20 man card of guys over 100 to one like I how many times in a row can it happen and I think it’s just like if Scotty’s not going to win which he got just dug himself too big of a hole to kind of dig himself out of what’s there’s no no real difference between the guys 30 40 to1 and the guys 200 to1 when it comes to winning the tournament like having that upset yeah like that after those guys left for live no one in that 30 to 40 range has any win Equity compared to the that next 100 to1 range and it’s showing this year quick shout out to our boy Mato dvo just Davis Riley truther uh this he’s had this win coming for a long time so credit where credits do you hopped on the Dy train a long time ago and you uh you catched a win last night or yeah last night so congrats to you D yeah and he so I didn’t you I think you watched reason amount over the weekend I had so many guys going in the mix going into the weekend like yeah remember texted had like Five Guys in the top 10 like I had so many guys in the mix I had Robbie Shelton at like 500 to one was in the mix like I had a lot of guys mixing because I kind of just decided to start my card at like 40 to1 and play a lot of guys and got on the right side of the weather wave which we talked about uh on the site and so had a lot of guys going to the weekend and then as soon as the weekend started like I think my my guys parred the par five that first hole and I was like that’s not get the job like I’m out and then Davis Riley kept playing good so I kind of stopped watching but I still assumed that going into the final day that like Scotty would maybe not win like I thought people were saying when he was you know seven shots back or whatever and he was favorite still to win the tournament going to the weekend I thought that was a little bit crazy because he was just so far behind and like it doesn’t matter who you are like that’s still just a huge gap to make up obviously the bookmakers are afraid of Scotty but from following in the app it looked like Scotty never really challenged him whatsoever no and yeah on uh Saturday Davis got off to that flaming start he was five under through eight and then he had I think at one point it was an eight shot lead then after that I think they showed him passing one of the scoreboards maybe he saw where he was then after that it was three straight fives I think he hit one Fairway coming in and I was like okay Davis Riley looks like Davis riy he miss he miss left almost four times in a row off the T but then on Sunday I I think he needed that to happen he needed to BU buck up a little bit he felt some things Sunday he uh started off a little scrappy made a par on the par five made a bogey then and after that he was hitting Fairways and just looked a lot more comfortable shooting what I think he shot 70 in the final round with a four shot lead with Scotty that’s an unbelievable finish unbelievable result and beat Scotty by I think one or two and I I texted you guys yesterday Scotty was minus 800 to beat Davis riy in a two-man matchup with a a push would tie Davis riy was plus 500 just I’ve never seen anything like that in a golf matchup and I was shocked and it it lost and it [ __ ] lost that yeah you that’s the level of like just things that had to happen for Davis Riley to win a golf tournament by five shots like it’s I don’t even know what really to talk about for the tournament because it’s so far from something that I ever would have expected to happen that it’s like I can’t even speak intelligently about what happened because I will be honest I you could have given me maybe a hundred guesses I don’t know if I would have picked Davis Riley to win I do think what we did say about Scotty and about this tournament specifically last week was the style of course the emphasis of needing to spike with your putter probably not the best course for Scotty but the field being so weak like I do think we went into it saying kind of about we said it was simar to Houston where like somebody could get hot and beat him this isn’t a course where he’s just Auto Victory te to green and then he got after that rough start in round one obviously played great in round two and round three but he didn’t gain over four strokes in any category he actually putted putting was his second best stat for the week which is almost largely unheard of from Scotty I think we’d have to go back pretty far to find a time where he gained more cutting than he did in either around the greens or approach so just the fact that he didn’t have near nearly anything of his best stuff and he was still by far the second best player in that field just to him he came he’s going through a ton of stuff right now he has just had a child he’s about to be in jail forever and he’s just going out there and like doing what he does cuz I did not think he was going to finish second we both said we wanted to fade him and it looked awesome at first and he looked does he even though he finished second he still didn’t look good and he finished second he chipped in so many times in the second and third rounds which which helped um but when he was like after the first round he was like T 100 or it was at one point in the first round he was like t110 or something like he was really far back he made that triple on the part three like it was genuinely that happened to be when I was watching a little bit on Thursday it might have been the worst hole I’ve ever seen Scotty play like the water wasn’t even in play off of the T and he hits it in the water and then proceeds to make triple like it was one of the worst holes I’ve ever seen in play from that moment on he jumped every other player in the field not named Davis Riley within like 27 holes like he so quickly went from so far back to if Davis Riley wasn’t playing insane tied for the lead he would have been tied for the lead right it it’s just a different gear of golf yeah no no one else has anywhere near that right now and it’s just I I I wonder he’s playing going to play Memorial so I wonder how he will be coming into that before the US Open so interested to see because that was not nearly the Scotty we saw all 2024 yeah I think if you’re going to spin the positive of it I mean it’s a T2 finish and and also he did putt really really well it was one of his best putting performances in a reasonable am of time he had not puted well at Schwab before like I always assumed with Scotty that the ball striking will couldn’t show back up instantly every single time he teas it up the putter heating up we know how well he played at Memorial last year I know it personally as somebody who had him single bullet that week with a generational T green performance uh if he brings anything near this putter to Memorial and goes back to normal Scotty problems for the rest of the field agree Colin most tipped but probably Scotty’s good one Colin fourth place Place seems like about where he should finish in this type of tournament if he’s breathing and yeah I agree I really liked his quotes after more than anything more than the golf because he’s still like saying how his game’s not in the best place he finally had a decent iron week but he he he he talked about how he was so focused on being perfect and hitting that perfect five yard cut every time and now he’s the LA the last month of the Season he’s been just focused on being Scrappy putting together good scores and that’s really showed in his results cuz clearly doesn’t have his best stuff trending in that direction but he’s posted these great results little by little and that’s just boosting his confidence and I think that a really solid performance is coming and he’s going to be Giga popular which is we’ll get there next week but he’s gonna be very popular yeah I mean he’s doing everything well that next week Memorial y we got we got ourselves a run of Memorial Pine and Travy three weeks in a row of good stuff coming we got Liv next week too so I’m I’ll be honest I’m not hyped for this week but I think I think it’s an okay like rest week because we got June is going to be popping off um across the board Keegan finished T2 apparently uh losing Strokes on approach yeah unconventional result there for Keegan but uh always a reminder and it’s I’m glad he finished second and didn’t win because it would have been upsetting Keegan’s always live Keegan is always live it pretty much every event 60 to one or above gets into these weak Fields you got to give him a look because when he makes Huts he’s going to finish top 10 pretty much every time and and this week he got hot with the Putter and around the green and a T2 finish solid for Keegan yeah I like Keegan going into the week I just didn’t get there was in that I went with fully in that wave I don’t think he was in that wave and this is the first he’s been hitting his irons so well in this first week he doesn’t hit his irons well still finishes runner up makes no sense golf it’s just the sport that we love is just the most absurd sport ever but yeah good week for Keegan sep I was on sep he couldn’t make any but he continues to hit the ball well Hayden Buck a guy who we have not heard from since last year Sony like Hayden Buck has gone off the cliff he’s I mean he’s been horrible absolutely terrible yeah and he pops up for a T5 he’s Buck he had a injury and he was like gone for a while yeah he finished T5 last year at Heritage and he’s got no green results no no top 20 s that’s crazy yeah when when he’s playing well he’s driving the ball really straight and he did that this week so I’m not sure Hayden Buck’s back but he showed good things like in his rookie season he’s definitely a fun player and then a guy who was popular I think like he was popping in the models it’s rare you see these long shot guys who pop in the model actually play well I think he’ll be popular again this week MC mner I think I’m saying that right mner we talked about him last week Dallas or local guy y he uh just kind of looks like a good golfer like his stats are good across the board that’s he’s finished t23 at Puerto then he went T10 at Valero t23 at Zurich t13 Myrtle Beach T5 here he’s 100th in the FedEx Cup which for a guy coming up from the corn fairy who didn’t really actually play that well on the corn fairy spiked for a couple like good finishes uh only 25 I think we got to keep our eyes on young Mac I like mac I he was one of my 6K guys last week I think he can keep it up he’s a he can gain across the board which I like for a guy of his Caliber Caliber yeah it’s nice to have where if that’s like it’s one stat like he can do it all I agree I agree but yeah Charles Schwab I don’t think it was entertaining by any stretch of the imagination I’ll be honest it usually is it usually is a great finish it would have been if yeah yeah I mean if if Davis wasn’t 14 under going into the final round it would have been because I had Burns at Schwab a few years ago where he came back from like you can come back from really far at Schwab because in the final round the leader could go could shoot over par but he was so far ahead didn’t really make any mistakes didn’t let anybody in it so it was a boring event but that means we have to tip our hat to Davis Riley for playing well uh I’ve been on the record that I thought his next win would come on the corn fairy tour it did not so shout out to Davis Riley uh he’s got dog I’ll give him that if you can win every year on or two years in a row on the PGA tour when most of your results are mised Cuts in non-competitive t38 finishes times yeah we’ll give him one and a half wins but I have to give you some dog in your like in my mindset about you you get some dog because winning is hard and you just get hot and you can ride that for a week dog points H for me fair I agree that’s all I can think about from Schwab I’m trying to think another Schwab note uh Maverick MC’s irons he’s now seven for seven gaining Strokes on Approach at Colonial and he’s a horrendous iron player everywhere just insane kind of like Davis Riley how he gains there every time MAV is seven for seven gaining with his irons at Colonial so so basically what that means is he will win at Colonial some point in his career because Davis Riley just did the not good at golf but always good at approach Colonial led to a victory uh we got a bet MAV every year now at and of course he lost Strokes putting just why wouldn’t it the uh I was trying to think of who the other like high in the odds guys were coming to last week the only guy I can think of was Jordan who played I think youed Jordan didn’t you and Tony Tony both guys who were like Friday morning seemed like they were mixing both Tony and Jordan Tony still can’t putt then there’s nothing really needs to be added to that until he makes some putts it’s going to be what it is for tone Jordan though like I talked about last week I said he’s a corn fairy player outside of his driving that’s like what the stats have been showing for the whole year he lost on approach again he drove it he’s driving it so so so well easily the best driving of his career by like a long shot like even better than when he was at his very best like he’s peing with his his driving and then everything else has gone horribly horribly wrong and it’s really weird honestly like it’s such a Rand only him can to this like he had never I mean it’s his worst finish ever at Schwab you missed the cut last but when he actually makes the cut t37 the worst I wrote up last week that like I was kind of coming around on him because I was just like he’s going to figure it out it’s Jordan spe like he’s coming to CL is going to play good he doesn’t I am like putting the red flag siren emojis like danger danger spe game he was down or he obviously was great then he went down into the the trough came back up and it seemed like things were trending over the last couple of years we’ve now gone off to some of the worst golf that he’s played in a long time yeah it’s just like if you can’t hit your irons well at Colonial when you play well they’re every every single year it’s a concern but I just can’t believe how well he’s hitting his driver and his profile right now screams first round leader at Pinehurst that’s what that’s what my vision is for Jordan right now I like that a lot I like that a lot don’t forget that keep that tucked away a little nugget for people and actually as a perfect transitions we go to RBC and talk about Pine to remind people to like And subscribe uh to the Pod we really appreciate it like have like I keep saying I don’t know how the algorithm works but I know that when we get more likes and subscribes more people watch the podcast and more people like And subscribe so if you enjoy the podcast it’s great for us if you can toss a quick like talk a subscribe on there maybe even a review on Spotify or apple uh since I know a lot of people listen over there as well and um as always we appreciate people contining to support the PO and we have everything booked up for Pinehurst in a couple weeks boots on the ground will return at Pinehurst J I reached out to the Twitter Community as well and I asked them I said where should we golf we’re going to have time for a round when we are down there a lot of great responses so thanks to everybody who responded to that like so useful to just be able to say that and you get a bunch of people giving you like genuinely great responses I I truly appreciate that we haven’t nailed down what we’re going to play yet but we will keep the people posted and if you’re listening to this and you didn’t see that tweet and you’ve got somewhere around the Raleigh Piner area that you’re like Hidden Gem whatever let your boys know us because we we have one choice to make we got to pick one to do some research we got to pick one uh and then like we’re staying on Pinehurst number six so we’ll probably get some chips and putts in uh there we are excited for the practice rounds coming in a couple of weeks and like I said just June in general should be a great month of golf but yeah not not too great of a Schwab not a lot of energy to talk about but I think we can find some energy for the RBC Canadian open Jers back at Hamilton Golf and Country Club outside of Toronto I will admit uh I’m from Seattle when I think of Canada I always think of Vancouver that’s like where I think of so I think of western Canada I know western Canada I didn’t know where this course was I was stunned to see that it’s just outside Toronto so close actually out here to New York I was like man we could have kicked around a road trip up to the RBC but first time back at this course since 2019 2019 we saw Rory win this event by seven shots absolutely murdered the field uh we saw a bunch of positional guys like the the positional guys of that time web snedaker coocher were the next guys after Rory Rory destroyed them because what he can do at this course that no one else can do is just bomb the driver take lines and body else can take that was what happened in 2019 the course has been renovated a pretty significant renovation I would say versus we talked about Colonial last week saying it’s going to play pretty similar to how it has before and it did I I think in general when Renovations happen the course still plays pretty close to how it used to you can only change the course so much like it is what it is but there’s some seems like they’ve added some really like furry stuff above the bunkers like deep rough basically and I think what’s going to happen is you’re going there’s going to be some luck involved if you hit it towards the bunkers because you can get boned in this like super deep rough but everything else about the course still looks pretty similar the greens look even easier actually than they did in 2019 they because a lot of these tough yeah and that’s the thing about the Canadian open is usually like they’re these really short courses but the one hard thing about them is the greens are small and they’ve got like the curves and The Ridges right they made the greens bigger and they actually look flatter and they look more like they kind of look like TPC stock greens now without like a whole bunch going on still more than maybe the average course but this isn’t going to look like I don’t think the Canadian opens of recent Years Around The Greens you wrap all that up I still think the course play is pretty similar you need to make a [ __ ] ton of putts only Rory has the driving Advantage everybody else and then a couple of guys obviously but then everybody else is going to play from the same spots not a long course anything I missed there is that kind of how you’re thinking about it no I agree and especially I didn’t see that note about the greens being enlarge if that’s the case then I think the bomb and gouge like is more in play for for for guys but if not then I think it’s going to regress back to like the 15 16 17 range I mean what Rory did that just goes to show what Peak Rory was like that nine under round in on Sunday like he doesn’t have that in the bag right now I don’t think maybe uh qu Hollow but it’s just Peak Ro was just in a different and not in 2019 wasn’t even Peak Rory that was just him playing really [ __ ] good golf just a reminder of how good he was um I don’t think we’re going to see that this week I think we’re going to see the field have a chance because there’s a path for them to hit Airways make a ton of putts and then if that if the greens are large then there’s going to be some maybe Keith Mitchell’s s the trying to bomb and goua place I think Rory is one of the biggest locks at a tournament in a long time I genuinely do this week because and I’m like I feel most of the time I say the Winner’s not like the favorite’s not going to win and I’m knock down for the favorite I’m having a hard time not seeing how Rory doesn’t come doesn’t win again this week like was he playing a little bit better in 2019 sure his Advantage here off the t is unreal like yes they’ve changed some things about the course but the shape of the holes there’s still a PL a reasonable amount of trees like they taken some trees out the bunkers are still a challenge off the te when we talk about driving advantages and like distance advantages it has to do with like carrying trouble that’s in play for other guys he is able at this course there’s also a lot of t-shots that set up big right to left like it’s just a beautiful driving course for Rory he gained three 7.2 7.3 off the te here last time and no one else even came close to gain like even the great drivers of that DJ gained a reasonable amount but even the distance guys can’t gain the way that Rory can here because he brings the accuracy to the table as well so like he just won by in Infinity at Quail another course that he loves he’s riding that wave we know he’s not going to win Majors so I’m so afraid of Rory this week I’ll be honest honest with you but it sounds like you’re not as afraid of it yeah I mean and he’s spoken about being confident with the driver that matches up with the numbers he’s gained five and six in his last two starts I don’t know I just feel like I don’t trust him to if he’s bombing and gouging he’s gonna have to hit a ton of wedges he doesn’t look as dialed with those wedges as he should be and he clearly not and he wasn’t back he wasn’t as dialed now as he was in 2019 so I’m not I’m just going to take the field in that in that case I know he’s going to have to drive he’s going to be awesome with a driver if he beats us with a ton of putts he beats and if we lose to Rory maroy winning three Canadian opens I can live with it I really won’t be upset if like not being on Rory I I think I’m going to go I mean I’m obviously going to go with the field I’m not betting a three to one Rory but I’m gonna say that he doesn’t win this event I have never bet a golfer below plus 650 I think is the lowest I’ve ever bet a golfer like we like to have seven 8X cards I’m going to wait to see the line that we get from our boys at sport trade they’re in the great state of New Jersey right now the best number on him is 4 to on B MGM I literally think he has a 5050 chance of winning this tournament like I really it go to Five would you do it I like I’m considering it at four I like because in my mind if they played 10 Canadian opens with this field and in this form at this course I genuinely think he wins like four or five of them I really do so like in that sense it’s a good bet and I have to like the other piece of that is when you look at the next guys on the odds board you have Tommy Fleetwood sah tagala Shane Lowry Corey Connor cam young Alex norren Sam Burns those are the guys below 30 to1 the guys that you would be like this is where I would start a card I can’t seriously bet any of those guys to beat Roy mckoy that’s just the other like piece of it because those guys odds are terrible they like versus where they normally are versus I don’t think Rory’s odds are terrible versus like the legitimate chance that he has to win this event like of the who of the next tier of guys would you consider starting your card with or are you going to skip over that entirely too no I 100% agree and that was my case for Rory at the Canadian open that he won in 2022 it was a very similar field I’m like and he was 12 to1 that week I was like why wouldn’t I just bet Rory at 12 to1 to beat like five golfers because the rest the field was [ __ ] and it’s the same idea like you’re betting Rory at 5 to1 to beat what maybe five to six good golfers and like seeing Rory Tommy Fleetwood I immediately tweeted about Dubai like was absurd that there’s Tommy fleetwoods the runner up or the second on the odds but I might grab a name in that range with from the not Fleetwood maybe the sah to Sam Burns range Sam Burns is a winner but he’s not playing the best golf right now but I just love that he can make a ton of putts um number Sam Burns win to that number yeah I mean yeah so like for me with Tommy obviously I was on Tommy last year at the Canadian open one of the darkest losses I would say just because all he need like it was just right there in front of him uh he at 18 to1 he was like 25 to1 last year I think I it’s just like no no I cannot do it he isn’t hitting his irons that well like I think he was I liked his form better coming into this last year so for me it’s pass on Tommy then you get to tees who’s like I just can’t do 20 to1 tees it’s just but at least he did wi at fortnite at 21 but there’s also no no other good players in that field whatsoever it’s just like I have a hard time again betting te versus Roy Lowry actually I kind of like just because him hard you’re out on Lowry why yeah cuz uh he’s a little bit removed from that that iron stretch he’s had and I think he’s going to be super chalky after the runner up at or whatever the top finish at Valhalla and it was all with the putter I think he lost Strokes irons at Valhalla and I’m just gonna people are gonna be like oh Shane Larry finished T5 here or he finished runner up here in 2019 and now he almost won the PJ Championship but when you look at the stats it’s all putter I’m just gonna I’m gonna fade low for sure I like cow just like in general this week I think this course is so easy sense that like this is what I wrote about this course and again I’m going off of the videos and like the stuff I’ve read and things like that but like it’s very it’s kind of reminds me of aall a little bit where it’s really hard to make a big number like you can just whack it up next to the green they changed the green surrounds there’s a lot of runoffs like these good players this is going to be like a very basic take but the good players here just can’t really [ __ ] up that much and it just they’re going to shoot a few under every single round saw could shoot in anything but like I think a guy like it’s hard for me to like confidently fade any of these guys in good form just because I think the course is like so easy but I agree from betting outright like Lowry isn’t a 22 to1 golfer in any tournament Connor’s can’t putt no I don’t there’s nothing else we need to say about that and you got yeah he will easily finish T20 yeah but yeah I have zero concern about Connors then you got c y say C I was like wow where’s I know you’d be on what’s your act quick as side are you done betting sio at like 30 40 to1 whatever he is so so stupid like but my my number go you I was just gonna say you like I feel like on a weekly basis battle with like are you gon to bet SE or not and I think after last week you should just done yeah like literally last week I wrote like on on the Monday write ups uh give give me a 60 on seu and he was like 40 and I still did it not that it would have mattered but it was just why he is zero inequity anywhere uh see why coming off of the worst iron week of his short PJ tour career um but I like him this week I like him to bounce back he’s bounced back he usually bounces back with his ball striking pretty well and this is a course I think he can make it happen in multiple ways go the bomb and gouge route make some putts or like he’s had success on positional courses this is one of the worst Fields he’s played in in a while and I know he’s played in horrible fields and let down multiple times in his career um I’m not saying I’m gonna bet him outright but I think he’s in for a good week Jer I have to be honest he I am looking more closely at Cy right now than I had been even earlier to day like he’s not playing good at all no I’m I I we’ve always I I think BK would agree with this like we didn’t even talk about C last week after the the P the PGA we just let it slide which was fine you would you would hit sandard like it was we needed to let you have your moment we’ve given you c y as like your guy are you sure you have a good read on c y anymore because I think you’ve got the point where you just bet him all at the time and I don’t think it’s turned out well for you ever I did the same exact thing with Patrick Kay like I it didn’t never worked once uh yeah like that’s not beef that’s a fact I he’s never I bet him a lot and he’s never he’s never won uh so yeah I just had to give that like I had to give that clarification just to the audience people who might be listening in thinking see why is your guy because we say guy I’ve decided he might not be your guy anymore you’re you’re just going to keep betting him regardless paced on Talent which is totally fine we just saw Davis Riley although he was like 350 to one and cam young this week is 25 to1 and Davis ry’s has two wins now and cam young still zero but besides all of those things you still might be considering this week and it could be a Xander situation where it’s the final strike and it hits for you so let us I I think you’re going to bet him this week I just I mean at Valhalla I bet we joked about this I bet Xander Fleetwood and Camy young like the three Mo losers and and it worked out yeah and Davis Riley just won a golf tournament I’m not saying I’m going to bet Camy young but like it’s just I might I might get there yeah that’s fair no he’s not my guy like your guy can only be someone like you hit like you you hit on like it has to be a guy that you very consistently make a the right Declaration on like I think you’re there with wiie Z I think you were there with C why we’re gonna have to put it on the back burner you earned him after sass or not sass uh what why am I blanking on the name of oh the old Course St Andrews is what I was trying to say because you had you had him at St Andrews right no didn’t you write him up as like the DFS week no yeah and I and I Victory lapped it at like 5 a.m like Thursday and he finished like second yeah bad times but all right so that’s when you that’s when we gave you c y but I think we’re have to take him away from you our guy though CD Cam Davis yeah he got up there and him and teags are of the same ilk like teags is a more consistent better player but when CD gets within a shot or two of the lead and he’s made like two birdies in a run you’re like here he comes like it’s about to happen triple bogey around the corner uh could happen at any time which actually that happen on CD related I had Bobby shells last week at 500 to one like and I had him single bullet first round leader like 190 I never bet first round leader would have almost been the best bet i’ ever hit what a bet he was mixing there early back night on Sunday I texted like he’s mixing literally the next toll I was only following on the app the red like the lines it was like a zig Zog puzzle getting he made like triple bogey instantly after he got to like T2 also on Cam Davis I don’t know if you saw he went Obi twice on Thursday and he still like posted a minus one round just only him I have even this is we’re completely anytime we start talking about CD things get a little off the rails but it’s okay because I have other CD related news that is going to blow your mind it’s good like it’s good news hold on let me I let me confirm it cuz I heard it earlier today yeah it’s confirmed so sahali the course where CD hones his craft the most narrow golf course in the world it’s hosting the women’s KPMG PGA Championship soon this year so the women are playing sahal I that’s my course shout out Seattle I’ve talked about it on here so if there’s anyone listening who has heard our s Holly takes and been like what is that matters it’s the most Nar golf course in the world and they’re playing we do a course preview No One’s Gonna do that yeah who if somebody can send me all of the LPGA stats I need to know the positional like stars of the LPGA because this is going to be the most positional thing that’s ever happened so please somebody send that to me we will be betting the LPGA C whatever week that is uh it’s June 20th to 23rd so I think it’s Travy week well also we’ll talk Travy and we’ll also talk a little uh LPGA so I’m really excited about that complete aside but you’ll see where Cam Davis honed his craft there all right that started with talking about C why hon B we’ve yeah luckily this is why we put the uh time stamps in the the uh comments because somebody’s going to be like why was the Camy young section like 10 minutes long and then they’re gonna listen and be like that had nothing to do with Camy young but we had passed on all the guys up until cam young or at least I did you said you’re considering cam young potentially Alex norn is next he a complete loser but probably the most lock of all locks for like a top 10 finish with you there zero he’s playing some of the most consistent golf of anybody in the world like ever yeah like he I don’t think he has that like spike in any category but he’s just across the board just like solid solid like Xander like literally Xander I was just about to say he’s like a worst version of Xander where it’s green across the board and he can’t win but he’s finished top his worst finish since Phoenix is t24 at Wells Fargo which is not like a course that makes sense for norin and this course makes a ton of sense for noren Viking cup it’s not it’s not hard practices like if you practice like Alex noran you can also finish T30 what happened at Ringin I didn’t bet it I didn’t watch it at all I saw Nacho one though position I had I had nacho in Kenya and I feel like Kenya and sudall are close enough that I’m Bick clapping that as a a comp course victory for me yeah one of the worst cards I think I’ve ever assembled in my betting care here career I think I had seven guys five of them as the cut and uh but it was a did you see he went like OB on Sunday and hit a crazy recovery shot from like the the literal mud and Tommy Pete had two Birdie putts on 17 and 18 and couldn’t make one Pete was mixing Pete was mix finish run her up no [ __ ] damn and you see what addc did I saw he played really bad right yeah he almost he finish like dead last can’t CL down he’s playing this week uh oh who else yeah he’s playing this week uh but yeah I have not been watching much DP but I swear every morning when I wake up there’s the first tweet like I see on Sundays is from the DP saying like the leaders hit seven straight out of bounds but he holds like a one- shot lead let’s see if he can like keep it going I so I did see that nacho hit OB but only because like every week the DP is like tweeting out that the leader has done something bad but he did hold on to win and so then the last guy Burns he’s 28 to one and I agree with you purely on the odds the most obvious guy to bet is Burns because he’s simply got more dog than Fleetwood teags probably not more than Lowry definitely more than Connor’s definitely more than Cy and definitely more than norin but he’s not playing he’s just not playing good like he’s my guy and I’m don’t think I can do it true he has his bet his second best approach week of 2024 and his best approach week since his T3 at uh Phoenix and it’s just a guy that can win like I get worried I will say about like so he gained a he missed the cut at the PGA puted probably the worst of his career um he did it was a great approach performance the best in a long time but he also lost a ton off the T and sometimes like I don’t like when that sometimes I don’t give as much credit to gaining that on approach because he may have just hit some like crazy scrambling like approach shots that he normally doesn’t hit like the he hasn’t and then even at Pebble which was his other good approach effort that’s only measured over three rounds things were weird they’re like if he was putting really good I would be down but he’s not putting good either that’s so like the only I go burn is purely onum yeah and I feel like he’s had better leading form leading up to wins so yeah I I don’t know he usually foreshadow it at least a little bit I mean he has that good approach week I don’t know I yeah I mean yeah consider consider I’m I’m not gonna bet him I’m like almost certain of it but I will say that I support a bet on it purely because I none of the other guys make sense he’s 28 to1 I think that price is fair I used to have a rule that I auto bet burns like above 40 to1 I would say 28 to1 this field is of the same like level basically so yeah I don’t hate Burns he’s definitely as likely to win as a lot of these guys if he plays well he’s also like DFS or something where you want like something consistent he would not be my choice this week like it’s way too volatile from Sam right now but purely unnumbered then we got Adam Scott unserious golfer I said I wasn’t gonna bet him last week because I was done betting him but then he went up to 80 to one and I was like all right I’ve bet him so many times at like 354 40 to one I just have to pull the trigger and bet him at 80 and he mixed for a second but another guy the second he sniffs the lead he instantly just completely backs out of it unserious golfer 35 to one it’s a zero yeah and mean this is the most vintage Adam Scott in the last two years performance ever beautiful three Strokes on approach T12 looks awesome negative chance to win yeah three ball in the 40s between MAV Keith Mitchell and Tom Kim all at 40 who would you take Tom is figuring it out Tom K is figuring it out and I am so done with Keith I think and yeah Maverick is just not the good golfer Tom is figuring it out and we usually give Tom some slack but I like what he’s doing right now course Tom at 40 to one in this field to me is a good bet like he can win he’s won three times on positional courses he’s been playing better what I like about him is that he’s gained off the te nicely in two straight starts he was going through that stretch where he was driving it off the plane it which is like if your game is based on hitting Fairways which is Tom Kim’s game’s entire like it has to be Fairways for him when he’s blowing it off the planet that’s going to bleed into every other part of his game because he’s gonna just how can he play good when he’s doing that he’s D driven it well in two straight starts uh he’s got what’s his face on the bag now uh tseri Tori Tori on the bag t26 at the PJ t24 last week 40 to1 in this field he can win yeah I like Tom yeah I mean the he’s not striping his irons which he usually does when he’s playing really well but it’s better than it has been and I feel like he’s just rounding into form I mean if he was in great form he would be 20 to one so like we’re getting that and what I would say about his approaches when you look at it round by round it’s actually not that bad it’s volatile but I think part of the problem is he hasn’t been driving it good so he’s just been not being his game has been off totally because of his driving he’s now driving it good I could see him flashing with his irons very quickly like I don’t think he’s one because of how he was playing so bad before where I don’t need to see as much of a trend just because I know his game was off he was in the trees he was in the not hitting it where he normally does in the fairways so Al like Tom this week he’s the first one where I would say like I could feel good about betting him just because Tom does have dog like when he gets in if he mixes he could he could beat Rory like why not yeah and he played with Rory last week so downam I think Rory was pissed that he was playing with Tom cam or not last week two weeks ago played with Tom came in like the final round Saturday at the P yeah I remember that M Hughes is 45 to one which is your favorite so let’s do the Canadians instead in honor of Canada we’re not going to do random of the Euro random Euro of the week there really were no random Euros in the mix uh Dallas it’s too American for any random Euros of the week to get into the mix last week in Dallas Canada though we should expect Euros in the mix but we should also expect Canadians in the mix historically you didn’t want the Canadians at the Canadian open because they had never won they usually play Bad Nick Taylor Wins last year that could open The Floodgate so who give me your power ranking of the Canadians uh let me try to list them all off to you you got Connors at 25 mck Hughes at 45 Adam hadwin at 55 Taylor pendrith at 66 Nikki T at 70 uh Adam senson at 100 Ben Silverman at 125 and then we’re into the randoms I do believe Aaron Cox is in the field this week there’s a lot of him Michael gigix in the field too I believe he’s gig yes um I’m Gonna Go My Favorite Canadian this week Ben Silverman I like Ben Silverman really wow I agree I wrote up I wrote up I wrote like basically the ride up today over on bcer was like Roy is going to win I don’t want to bet this tournament this is kind of a lame tournament but then I quickly wrote up like seven guys long shots that like popped in my head Silverman was on the list yeah Ben Silverman he’s played here before finished T20 and his best game is iron he does well on positional golf courses down for some Ben Silverman I would say second is uh senson senson this is a perfect golf course for Adam Fenson missed a cut here in 19 but his win came on a positional track then outside of that I would probably go with hadwin I don’t love the form played well here in 19 though but I like the course fit for hadwin so those are my top three svenny hting it nice fenny is striping and I’ve bet a ton of Spenny what is he 100 yeah I mean it’s winning but still my issue with Fenson is he can’t Putt and I really need you to make putts this week like I really really need guys who can make some putts and that’s why when I look at the Canadians and think of guys who can make putts I don’t think of Conor uh I do think of mck Hughes but Hughes odds are terrible compared to the rest of the Canadians like why would you bet Hughes at 45 to1 when the rest of the Canadians are in the 60s and ni Taylor 70 to1 like I know he’s not playing great golf but he wasn’t playing Great Golf last year and he’s [ __ ] won twice he hasn’t gained jokes on approach since March though but he wasn’t lighting the world on fire when he came in last year I mean it’s not going to win but still but yeah I mean so you basically are saying that you kind of like the longer shot Canadians versus any of the well-known like bigger names yeah I mean all those bigger names I feel like they’re dealing with like a ton of pressure like President’s Cup year they want to impress Weir they’re it’s a home game they’re all going to have media to deal with Ben Silverman’s not doing any media and all the other guys are Silverman wins the Canadian open is he on the president SC team that’s a that’s a good question he would I think it’s like if you’re Canadian and you win this week you’re on the team like uh hadwin con no Conor is on the team and Hughes are feeling a ton of pressure yeah because Connor is on Conor is on pendra probably on Taylor’s on and then maybe pendrith he I would say Hughes hadwin and pendy are all of equal ilk of players like I don’t know how pendy winning in Houston like huge has won on the tour like he won the year before at Sanderson like I wouldn’t say that you know pendy is more deserving maybe than a guy like Hughes but I definitely think Connors and Taylor in and then from there yeah the rest of those guys are kind of like winning your in territory I would say yeah so I feel like there those like three Elites that we just named outside of like Connors is really feeling their heat and I don’t want that especially that the home game like we nailed the home game narrative with like hogi last week we don’t want hogi when like we don’t want those mediocre players de with pressure it’s a different if it’s like Rory or a high tier player dealing with like home game pressure like they deal with that every single week you don’t want a mid- tier golfer playing with for more and I would agree that like I assume what’s going to happen is because uh Taylor won last year like people are going to give lean more Canadians this year but historically it’s been better to not go that route so I agree with you I think I’m good on the Canadians in general besides maybe Silverman I like a Dead series I was down first round leader he’s a good putter too like he’s nice uh so shout out cognizant in front of me yeah then also then they follow that up with like on nine with one of the worst like iron shots I’ve ever seen anyone ever hit um all right let me give you the guys who the model likes this week and you tell me if you like any of them uh the top of the model is pretty straightforward Rory Shane Tommy tees cam young then Aaron Ry this is a Ry course he’s played good Canadian open before yeah zero like zero dog not a winner but anytime you get up to Canada I’m giving Aaron Ry a look for sure oh I’m down I mean he strik second off the te last week gained another two and a half on approach he’s hting the ball well why what are his odds why not the odds are just bad he’s 50 to one that’s crazy that’s a sharp that’s a sharp number like you I just don’t know if we can bet Ry at 50 to one and he’s being bet he’s 11% move so far wow really that’s kind of another week last week Davis rally was 0% move so Harris English was like one of the most steam flares I’ve ever seen did Harris was he in theour Cut haris missed the cut yeah so yeah honestly if you’re not going to golfop and.com and getting a look at who’s being steamed and then just being completely out like this is going to sound if the hardcore like clv people this I know technically mathematically what I’m about to say is incorrect but I statistically it’s wrong but it’s gotten to the point where if I let’s say I bet somebody 80 to one and they got steamed they’re like a 35% mover I would almost want to cash out my 80 to1 even if they were like 40 or 50 to one at that point just because like those guys suck every single time yeah have I was there one winner I think it was Scotty at the Masters there’s only one winner that their odds have gotten better during the week this entire 2024 is that correct and it was since Pebbles I think is when we start it okay since Pebble was so since February I it’s still pretty large enough sample size and we’re going to keep tracking it one time has a guys odds drifted forward and they’ve won the golf tournament which is crazy and I was with my my buddy Brendan who I talked to you about a lot he wakes up every 7 a.m. Monday morning and Bets like good numbers like 80 to 60 to1 which is I mean a good idea in theory because they all drift towards 50 and he’s knows ball enough to bet those guys but it hasn’t worked one and in most sports let’s say you do that over a whole college basketball season like you get the right number every single time NL Monday morning yeah it like moves in your way yeah that’s it the math is in your favor and golf it seems to be not in your favor it seems to actually like be the worst thing that can happen is you’re got to be popular so I genuinely like like a guy like mac Meer has moved already 28% he’s it’s still he’s still 150 to one but it’s just like yeah you’re it’s no it’s just how it works I talked about him last week I liked him like not not when he gets like chalky no uh all right Ry is six in the model M’s high in the model we already talked about him hubs is high in the model again hubs let people down last week but I think it could be your favorite situation the old flop leg where we get back on hubs I was in Canada last year and he played nice yeah he surely can Spike with the irons can Spike with the putter probably can make a hole in one yeah I love what’s his odds like 120 I he he can’t win I do not no the problem is his odds are 90 like they suck one other guy I want to talk about at 55 to one is Davis Thompson he finishes he you you bet him to win the tournament yeah last week he finishes like in the he’s always T20 the whole tournament every single week every time like he finished t17 this week and he did finish T2 at Myrtle Beach like the alt event but in normal PGA T events he’s so consistent but he also never mixes he’s always T15 to T30 he starts good and then he just stays there the rest of the week it makes no sense I really don’t get it yeah he was like remember when he was in in college and was first- round leader at uh rocket mortgage and he hasn’t like done oh he did play it well at MX but outside of that like he never really mixed he’s so consistent he just it he never spikes yeah I like him he but like you can’t bet him at 55 to one no no no I don’t I like him at a macro level I didn’t know he was 551 that’s crazy no I didn’t would you give Ox 50 again would you give him another chance didn’t play good he’s since he’s won he’s like lost the elite ball striking which is concer but 55 to1 that’s a good number I know we said it was also a good number last week at colonially mystica but Au should not be in the cut at Colonial I even though he was in a bad way he hit the ball so poorly we also have to talk about how poorly Nikolai hit the ball think of was the worst approach we against his career uh one of them but um yeah bad bad from both of them dude Nikolai holy what in the heck happened what what was the what was the number on Nikolai he lost 6.2 in two rounds on approach okay that’s what I thought tough scene what’s going what’s going on with Nikolai ever since he won the Masters it’s been downhill for like when he won the Masters on the back on the on toll 10 on Saturday at the Masters when he that was great to see him wear the jacket literally since the next hole after that is been the worst golf he’s ever played but he was also playing terrible before the master so that was completely out of nowhere yeah like the ball well out of like Valhalla he I think Valhalla he gained strokes this week he got to be like 200 is he in the field I don’t even know if he’s in the field he’s 90 to1 he’s in the field okay like if n was in form this would make sense for nikai because he he someone who could match Rory’s like style of driving nikai could beat Rory and he beat Rory in January in at the at the Earth course I could see like I know we talked him up last week he didn’t play well I’m not afraid to go back to Nikola this week like there’s no he’s just so random that at 90 to one I think if if he’s just 90 to1 forever you just bet it because it’s Nico yeah I mean remember when he was like this same number early on in the season probably playing better golf but we said like just bet Nikolai his talent is so good and he was not playing good or bad he was just like existing you never know he’s so random and he’s so talented I still like something’s wrong I I would wish we were able to see and we also we know like that he was at the P at Valhalla Monday through Wednesday from like sun up to sun down grinding and it’s to then have that performance it is highly concerning like he’s not going to win but he’s just a numbers thing one gu I want to talk about I think you wrote him up highly too I like him this week I don’t like him to win because and I don’t like his odds to win but this seems like a spot where EVR could have a nice week he’s just been playing well he can Spike with everything he can hit his long irons he can hit his driver like it he’s just good what are his odds like 50 55 it’s just shitty odds yeah shitty odds he’s I for some reason whenever I bet EVR I feel confident like he I feel like he has dog and like I’m like EVR like he can mix he can win he can win in any field um 55 is tough for the amount of times he’s won or gets in the in the mix but he has the game to win on I mean he has the game to win on a lot of golf courses but definitely this one yeah he’s driving it good too t T2 at Palm Beaches T4 at Mertle Beach those are obviously different like grass types different areas of the North America I guess but like positional courses where Spike putting is a way to get into the mix he can just get hot I do maybe prefer him on Bermuda actually not think about it but terrible odds terrible odds and that’s the thing I feel like once you get and then we’re into the 80s and you’ve got guys like Doug gim and Kevin Yu like we’re gonna bet Doug gim at 80 to1 against rooy who won at this course by seven shots like these odds this board is just not good yeah like I maybe like two guys sub 30 to one and then just bombs you could you could do that if if you don’t want to I think like yeah now that I look at it it’s like where how unless you’re going to there’s no value in that at the end of the day there’s no one’s won in that range the whole entire year so I think we do a guy sub3 to one maybe two guys sub3 to one and then from there how much money you have have left go 100 plus why not yeah I need to see what happens with the Rory number because even like again I’ve never do this but if I genuinely believe to my core that he’s going to win like I have to do it but as long as you don’t do a three to one Rory with two other guys oh no if I do Rory it’s like I might even do a parlay where I do Rory plus somebody to finish in the top 20 just to like get my juices flown yeah plus the dortman corners and the Roma first half overs but yeah I mean now we’re into the like let me give you some guys the model likes that are long odds Benny Marts Ben Griffin 8 to1 do you like that I know you’re Ben Griffin guy yeah I definitely am a Ben Griffin Guy this is definitely a golf course that makes sense for him I prefer he’s only done it on really like Bermuda Slash’s uh Coastal VI courses yeah not the grass type but the the te green I don’t mind low sucks he missed the cut last week after I gave him run at 300 to1 he could play well though uh Nate lash won this event last year yeah Nate Lashley is 150 to one he’s 16th in the model uh BK’s guy sh Kim sh could play well he’ll he’ll he’ll probably make like 27 birdies and 15 buggies this week and finish like T8 dude he’s always so due for like one really low round and then just like average or hor horrible I mean he’s like the same as like sun Kang these just Korean Chinese guys just do that all the time birdie machines uh I how you right up you think Davis Ry could carry his form over this week I don’t no I I think if he can carry his form over it makes sense but I not saying he will but I just can’t believe him he gained 11 Strokes ball striking out of literally nowhere like that does not happen what’ Rio do last week um too many birdies for Rio I think here I think yeah he played bad his iron play is just inconsistent but he he can he can get his his T20 here for sure well his uh iron week at Valhalla was his best iron week of his career and then he lost want to know who I I don’t really have a lot of justification for this but a guy that I like this week who plays good on these style of courses can get hot with the Putter and is European and is in the Viking cup Thor bjor olison I like for Thor yeah he’s putting really well and he can gain across the board if you like norin you like thbes I’m going to live and die on that hill and it hasn’t paid off once yet but I’m still GNA live and die on that Hill yeah who else do we have from the Nordic cup in the field this week we have to talk about it we have to talk about Norman he was our official pick remember yeah yeah you you give the people the Vincent Norman situation so yeah the the real Qui and then quick backstory too Adam and I did our preseason show about the one and done for every single course from the Masters to the Canadian open and And We Were Somehow both aligned on Vincent Norman at uh this event and we did this in December and we’ve hit I think like a few already of that we talked about in I can’t remember off the top of my head because I forget who I chose but people in the Discord remind me sometimes we’ve hit guys from the preview show so Vincent Norman at 300 to one I think we have to bet like we were we I’ll like I’ll pledge to you right now I don’t think he can win but I’m betting him 300 to1 because we said he was going to win before the year and it’s 300 to1 yeah and he has he’s look at his putting stats it’s hilarious look at his putting stats he’s so unserious as a golfer he drives the ball like literally one of the best players in the world and then his short game I would like if you went around the chipping green and I know that like we say this a lot that even bad Putters and bad chippers on the PJ T are just unbelievably good short game players I genuinely think I could beat Vincent Norman in a short game combo yeah him and Cory Connor you can just easily beat Vincent Norman uh what was I gonna say he has more wins than anyone else though like since like he’s came on tour he’s two wins he has dog like he could easily pull a Davis Riley where he just wins a tournament at some point in the next year at 300 to one because he drives it so nice like really really well like he’s so good at driving VC Norman has two more wins in a full year I don’t think we be surprised I just what happened it’s like he got The Yips around the greens he used to be good like around the greens and now he’s truly terrible yeah he’s like I don’t know I’m down at 300 to one I think we have to be on him because a it’s Viking cut B we literally said he was going to win before the tournament and what happened last week who did we talk about before the year who were we talking up all year long for Schwab Ryan Fox he didn’t end up obviously mixing down the stretch but there was a moment there where he was ahead by like three shots and that sent such a jolt of fear through my heart because I was like if Fox wins after we declared he would win all year and then we don’t bet him it would be so painful so I think we just have to bet v nors yeah I’m down I mean he has dog for sure more dog than a lot of guys it’s three under one any more guys in the long shot category catch in your eye Chan Kim I like himim he’s striping his irons and he he won Mexico basically that’s it Campo what about Jorge bad week bad bad few I think bad little run for camps uh but he’s he’s a grinder he can make yeah you never know what camps is going to bring to the table he can just show up and he can bring you something good I want I was gonna ask you is what do we do with the Coe Brothers going forward because they [ __ ] sometimes they’re good they’re just completely volatile but they’re over 200 to one all the time like how do we think about them because I think a Parker as a flusher like Parker flushes it’s but he hasn’t been flushing and then Pier cess is that how do you say his name Pearson pi he has been bad but he has won on the corn Fairy like multiple times and then he was mixing last week so what do we do with these guys yeah he and he’s been hitting the ball a lot better at first he was just like generational around the green and on on the putting surface and he couldn’t hit an iron or a driver and re the last like month he’s little by little gaining Strokes on approach maybe he had to get a little bit more comfortable and like this kid like he’s a what these two kids are young studs like they knew they were going to be golfers their whole life and they her I think their grandfather won the Masters I really do so like these kids are Elite coming into their own skin they’re playing good golf they’re getting more comfortable out there happens all the time so I could see one of the two brothers getting in the mix yeah I just had to bring him up because I feel like we pride ourselves on identifying and supporting the young guns that are out there and I don’t think we’ve given the coties because they haven’t played good but they have uh potential for sure it was nice to see Pearson up there because Parker played good down in uh corales because he was uh paired up with Billy Ho in the final round so that’s last time I thought of the Cy so good for them yeah we got BSB at 150 to1 uh that’s I mean these guys suck like they’re no BB’s lost his BSB too he’s hasn’t gained in a while Vic Perez can win he’s he can’t win but at 150 to one I don’t hate it what about toasty what do we think toasty he with Drew he with Drew this morning Bob Max back though toasty with KH Lee 125 to one I don’t hate that KH has been playing better and K can has dog remember ER remember Eric Cole yeah remember Eric Cole he’s finally like becoming himself again remember betting remember betting Eric Cole I was I’m such an Eric Cole hater except for when I saw him at the concert uh yeah un serious yeah but I mean you just go through these names like 25 to1 Eric Cole like last year all the time it’s just I I just don’t know how I’m not going to bet Rory like I don’t want to it’s not something that I do it’s just like we’ve talked this whole show yeah could I pick three or four guys and make a card of guys that I think could get into the sure sure but do you trust them to beat Rory maoy if they have a one shot lead on Sunday no no I Rory could be three shots behind any of these guys in the field going to the final round and I would still expect him to win like that’s Ro we we know he doesn’t have dog in like winning majors and we sh him all the time but he has the he wins these type of events all the time like I trust Rory to close out these type of events so yeah that’s I don’t know what I’ll do TBD get to Viner you’ll see it give me your summary of what you’re how you’re feeling yeah I mean I with Yan Rory like this would be huge for his FedEx Cup race because that’s all he cares about he needs those points um but I think I’m going to go with two guys sub 35 probably cam young and then sprinkle some bombs because this middle range is pretty weak and the long shots are no worse than the middle range I like it European open I think on the DP yeah dp’s been a mess haven’t gotten that far yet in the week truthfully same all right good over SX check out the Articles golf to C for the odds appreciate everybody tuning in good luck at the RBC Canadian open always a fun tournament regardless of if it’s competitive or not the crowds are going to be great it’ll be entertaining for sure last year was one of the highlights of the year so hopefully somebody can get in the mix Chown for Rory hopefully Rory doesn’t win only time will tell thanks cheers peace out

Good Show. Just curious was it revealed how He actually took His Life? My Best Friend did from the same Mental Health reason. Depression/Addiction. Took a Crucifix in One hand and Gun in the other. RIP to Grayson. Sad. For this week I like Rai & Buckley & Meissner for a Bomb.
Even tho i have others i want to win I think its Rory or Sahith. If it plays or has a feel like RBC Heritage in a way Sahith looks good. He’s also the best putter in the Field. I think lol
Look at Hunbards finishes! They are AWFUL besides Pebble which was a shortened event and Zurich he is T30, T26, T52, T31, meh , meh & NO! Maybe for DFS but anything else O&D’s, Outrights, T10’s Positional… Maybe A T40 positional yes. Other than that trash.
